Vi var i Croatia under pandemien!

2022-02-04T10:42:00.002+01:00

STOP living animals keychain/lucky charm in China

2013-10-28T12:29:00.001+01:00

What makes you want to buy a living baby turtle and keep it in a key chain for 1 week until it dies because it has no food, no oxygen and no where to swim..

The more we evolve in other places the stupider it seams we get.
"YES, we are the humans and we rule the world, lets play God of all things living".

There are a lot of people I´d rather have swimming around in my key chain...

Lick my eye

2013-08-23T10:30:00.000+02:00

New trend in Japan...

...one of those trends I really hope stays in Japan!

A fetish is spreading in Japan where you lick your friend´s eye.
I can not see how this is arousing or erotic, so what is the reason for licking someones eye
- its straight on eye VS tongue... ?!?!

Doctors have concluded the practice can spread viral conjunctivitis or "Pink Eye," so if its not the fact that its disgusting, then that might be a good reason to not do it.. It can injure the eye and reduce sight - again, don´t do it :D

- By the way.. what do you tell your doctor when your eye starts to hurt..

"ehhm, you see this girl... she was licking me.. IN THE EYE... soOo..."
Dr.BeRollingHe´sEys... "are you serious? "

The practice, in which teens show affection by licking their partner’s eyeballs, may have started with a scene in a music video released last year from the Japanese band Born, which features a dramatic slow-motion scene of oculolinctus.

Think i´ll just stick to holding hands and kissing, stuff that’s been around for millions of years...

Do you have a dog or planing to get one? How did you come up with the name?

You know your evil when

2013-08-22T10:56:00.000+02:00

You know you have done some evil when...

.... you start growing horns :D

A Chinese woman - Mum Zhang Ruifang (102) have a 6.cm long horn growing from her forehead!!

The old woman explains that the horn does not hurt, and that she did not think

about "it" before it started getting the shape of an horn.

Looks like someone has done more than just a deal with the Devil :D

The doctors still don´t know what to do with the horn or why she got it.

They say that it is "made" from keratin, the same stuff that is in our nails and hair.

From the looks of it, another horn is coming on the right side also...

Two more months and it´s Halloween!!! :D

Attraktiv med hvite tenner / Attractiv with a white smile

2013-08-21T22:50:00.001+02:00

Shopping in China, from home!

Have you ever looked at a item in the shelves at the store and taught

"this is probably bought in China for 1/10 of the price I'm looking at" ???

The answer is: it probably is.. :)

I buy thing from China all the time, I buy is headphones, knives, cables, shoes, shirts, extras for my phone, adapters and a whole lot of other stuff I just buy because its dirt cheep :D

Check out this price.. in a store at the mall these would cost about 23$ here: 3,02$ BIG DIFFERENCE!!!

There are pros and cons here as everywhere:

Pros:

* Usually good quality

* A lot more to choose from than in your local store

* Some fun trips to the post office

* You get to buy things not everyone else has

* Its fun doing business from home - in China.. :)

* It takes a few weeks to get the item you bought

Do you work with Recruitment

2013-03-24T22:21:00.000+01:00

This month I just started a new career - I have jumped in to Recruiting with both feet.
And its everything I thought, but its also tougher that I thought :D

I imagined there where lots of people out there looking for work - and jobs looking for good people.

I don't think I was totally wrong, but the lots of people... out of the mass there are some surprises.
People are saying that they are coming for an interview and then don´t show up, some come totally unprepared.
So I'm searching Internet to learn more about my job, looking all over. I have come up with some good places to learn, but still looking for more.

If you where to learn The Recruiter work - What would you start off with?
Would it be, Holding Interviews?

Would it be, How to get in contact with the right job seekers?
Would it be, How to talk to the candidate on the phone?
Or would it be something else I have not yet tough about?

Do you know the secrets to Recruiting - and would you share?

Would you make a guest comment here on my blog, send me a mail: plaxen@hotmail.com

The company I'm working for specializes withing the recruitment of sales personnel in Oslo / Norway.

We have some big customers and have our hands full being a little company. But we do also have a lot of fun doing it, learning new things and enjoy meeting new and exciting people!

Webcruiter had a great meeting om Friday where people interested in recruiting where all there to mingle and learn. There where people there from VG.no witch is one of Norway's main newspapers among other big companies. I had a blast meeting so many interested and social people!

New Wide Angle Lens from Sigma

2013-03-24T20:42:00.002+01:00

As my desire for getting better at taking photo´s still grows I jumped to it when a friend of mine where selling he´s almost new Sigma Wide Angle Lens. New its about 600$ - I got mine for 250$ Of course I had to have it! If you wan to see what kind of camera I use, check it out here: http://amzn.to/13ouBvM

So far I have used it at every possible opportunity. I have searched Youtube for the best ways to use it and am still trying to get the hang of it. But no matter what, it still gives a good result.
The fun part about it is that when you get really close you get so deep pictures.

The Wide Angle Lens information:
Because of its zoomed out nature, a wide angle lens is capable of capturing more in the frame than a zoom lens and is therefore considered to have a “wider” field of view.

Though wide angle lenses are most often thought of in relation to landscapes, they actually have a wide variety of applications in all kinds of settings.

- I found some good info here: http://tiny.cc/xxsguw

If this got you curious on wide angle lens photo, see some pictures taken with a wide angle lens here:

Good luck with your photos!

The blog started off pretty good. The plan was to use it as a place to post the things I usually would have posted on my FaceBook. And I have! But the thing I did not expect was to get about 1000 visitors every month on my page form all over the world, THAT IS FUN!

I have been a little lazy blogging lately and for that I'm sorry - ill get better!
But as an excuse I have been busy living and that feels quite OK to.

I still go 100% on with the Krav Maga. Its really fun and I'm learning new techniques every training and getting to know my self better in different situations. Last training we got on the gloves and had a 1 vs 2 for a full 2 min. I know it does not sound much, but the time does not move as fast while training as it does while watching TV or other mindless things. Anyway, its really fun and it also is a good combiner to my weekend work as a doorman at some of the hottest nightclubs in Oslo / Norway.

In January I got my first patch in Krav Maga, the P1 (practitioner 1) it was a really hard challenge but I did good and passed. But ill make a blog post about that later. Great fun it was!

At the start of January I managed to hurt my shoulder. Never have I before felt so handicapped. All the things I can not do when the shoulder is not at its 100%. Even driving car was a challenge the first month.
Now in late March I'm still struggling with push ups. I hate not being able to give a 100% while training and that have turned out to make me lazy and lost about 9pounds just the last months, that really sucks.

This month I have started doing something I have not done before - but i´m really eager learning more about!
I took on a new job and am now working as a Recruiter for sales jobs in Oslo. It is fun but challenging. I meet a lot of new people and do my best to find a match between the jobs we have and the people out there. But i must say, I have been surprised! REALLY, if your posting your resume on Internet and you get called up by someone that is willing to help you get a new job. We talk about what kind of jobs we can offer and book a meeting. Both parts agree and I put of a full hour for this, then suddenly a no show! really!?

That was a quick summary of what I have been doing lately. Ill post more regularly from now on again. Stay tuned and feel free to post a comment below. I want to hear what you think as well!

And if you have some good ideas on how to get better a recruiting please let me know, I want to be the best!

Summary: Krav Maga P1, new job in Recruiting, new friends, bad shoulder, will get better at blogging more again.

As always, I wish you a great day!

Tonight´s: Did you know?

2012-12-03T23:52:00.000+01:00

Did you know that...
Nights are shorter than days on average due to two factors. Firstly, the sun is not a point, but has an apparent size of about 32 arc minutes. Secondly, the atmosphere refracts sunlight so that some of it reaches the ground when the sun is below the horizon by about 34 arc minutes. The combination of these two factors means that light reaches the ground when the center of the sun is below the horizon by about 50 arc minutes. Without these effects, day and night would be the same length at the autumnal (autumn/fall) and vernal (spring) equinoxes, the moments when the sun passes over the equator. In reality, around the equinoxes the day is almost 14 minutes longer than the night at the equator, and even more towards the poles. The summer and winter solstices mark the shortest and the longest night, respectively. The closer a location is to either the North Pole or the South Pole, the larger the range of variation in the night's length. Although equinoxes occur with a day and night close to equal length, before and after an equinox the ratio of night to day changes more rapidly in high latitude locations than in low latitude locations. In the Northern Hemisphere, Denmark has shorter nights in June than India has. In the Southern Hemisphere, Antarctica has longer nights in June than Chile has. The Northern and Southern Hemispheres of the world experience the same patterns of night length at the same latitudes, but the cycles are 6 months apart so that one hemisphere experiences long nights (winter) while the other is experiencing short nights (summer).
Between the pole and the polar circle, the variation in daylight hours is so extreme that for a portion of the summer, there is no longer an intervening night between consecutive days and in the winter there is a period that there is no intervening day between consecutive nights.

Krav Maga i Oslo

2012-11-18T07:15:00.000+01:00

Krav Maga for fun and defence!
For both girls and boys...

There is a great self defence system out there and its called Krav Maga!
This is not a sport since it does not give points, it spure selfdefence quick and dirty. (and in a competition it would be a race to wich one that would kick the other one in the balls and gauge out he´s eyes first -
that person would have won :D )

Its been 10 years since I have been doing Krav Maga, so I figured it was about time to start it up again this summer. First of all, for me its a great workout and its good experience for work related issues!
I work as a bouncer in the weekends and have been doing so for about 8 years so far and I love it.
Its social and fun, but where do you meet alot of idiots wanting to attack you, nightclubs when people are drunk,
on drugs or just generally idiots that want to fight...

At nightclubs you have gangs, drugs, people on parole, people on a day off from jail, normal people that just drink to much, and the ones that manage to behave :)
And since drugs have become more and more normal now a days it almost seams like everyone is using it. They also tend to have a shorter temper than the one that dont use drugs :)

Well, my point was that selfdefence is good for you no matter if your a boy/girl, man/woman. Since everywhere around us, there are people that want to have something for nothing.

Those of you that happen to live in Oslo and want to try it out, put a comment in the box below :)

Make Money Online this Christmas

2012-11-18T07:04:00.001+01:00

Make Money Online this Christmas!
...and the next Christmas and the next...

Christmas is just around the corner this year and with hundreds of millions of people spending their hard earned cash on Christmas present on the internet, this is a great time of the year to start making money online. There are more people than ever looking for gifts and items on the internet his time of the year which means that in order to make money, you need to be selling things. It doesn’t matter if you have no experience selling online;
there are some easy ways to get started.

- One of the things that you will of course need to get started is something to sell. This could be anything you like and if you have enough money and are really ‘going for it’; you might want to purchase a small inventory of relevant products. However, you can simply just sell items that you have around the house too or even unwanted Christmas gifts from last year. This is a really good way to get involved with selling online this Christmas.

Once you have your items, you will of course need somewhere to sell them and there are a lot of websites that can help you with this. eBay and Amazon are two of the best and these both allow you to make accounts and start selling in just a couple of hours. Once you have taken some great photos of your products and listed them on the site, you simply have to wait for the money to start rolling in from the buyers of Christmas gifts.
If you are stuck for items to sell, you might want to take a look at what is in demand this Christmas. There are a lot of products like the iPhone5 and more in demand so purchasing a few of these in demand items before Christmas could lead to you being able to sell them for prices higher than the RRP.
Christmas is of course the time for giving so the good news is that you can use the money you earn from selling to buy some extra Christmas presents for your friends and family!

Wish you happy holyday´s and good luck on the online marked!

Entrepreneur course, the beginning...

2012-10-16T18:21:00.001+02:00

Day one on the entrepreneur course is over and it went over all expectations!
It started with a Coach named Hilde from Moril - talking with us about the up´s and down´s in running your own business - Then we used the day to shortly present each other after a brief talk, then tell the rest of the group what we have planed for ourselves, and how far we are down the road on Business Strategy and so on.

Some where just starting and some already had most of it figured out already and only needed a little pushing.

I´m in the first category and am not yet ready. But I have started so I'm getting there :D
Got some good feedback from the coach and looking forward to getting more and learn more! I'm excited!

So now I only need to:

do more research,
fill out more of the business plan,
find someone who are great at making web pages and design who can work project based, low cost.
get a web page for my own company up and running
and then get into the marketing :D
As you can see, there are something that needs to get done.

The course last 10 weeks so I still got some time to get there... fun fun fun :D

Making a business strategy within a week

2012-10-05T02:14:00.001+02:00

Business strategy and finding a business idea in a week!

I have until next Thursday writing a strategy for a business that yet not exist...
Have been thinking of starting a webshop for many years, I have also been

thinking about starting a small designer team to make websites.
I´m going for an international business. Business plan needed :)

After reading Tim Ferris book on The4HourWorkWeek really wanted to make some niche business online that
can earn me a little extra. But the problem is WHAT? I have been through so many ideas that I have no idea :(

Next week I'm attending a course in all I should need to know to be an entrepreneur - on how to make a company and how to keep it alive and running... I´m really looking forward to it - but to get it I have to have a business Idea written down within a week.. and I don´t have a clue..

Anyone how have some supporting and helpful tips?!

Business plan, business strategy, swot, ideas and help are greatly appreciated :)

Puppy names - What will you name your pets ?

2012-10-03T15:49:00.000+02:00

One of the things we must consider

before we buy a new pet is the pets name.
Since the pet will live with you for a long time its
smart to have a name for it that you like!

When we got our first pet we did little research on names, and I don´t regret it so far since
I'm quite happy with the name we gave our little MiniDoodle.

We chose to name our puppy Sketch. He is the first member of our little "family" and therefor he is somewhat a Sketch. We got our MiniDoodle when he was only 8 weeks old, and we have seen him grow into a little bigger, but still a small dog. Our puppy is 5 months and the more we play with him the more fun does he get to be around.

But we where not supposed to talk about my puppy in this article...

Sketch chewing on a pacifier :D

To select a pets name you should have a name that you feel comfortable using for many years to come. Don´t just name your dog Facebook or YOLO because its whats hot today. It´s a little like taking a tattoo, you want to be happy with it for a long time.
You don´t want to be a shamed when calling your pet its name out on the street or in the dog park.

To easier call your dogs name you should use dog names with "z" "s" or "r" in it. Let it roll on your tongue...

Tazz - Mitzy - Zolo - Zorro - Zena - Zahirah - Ziyan

It gives a snap to the puppy´s name witch will make it easier for the dog to hear it!

The dog is a part og your family and you care for it, therefore when your naming your pet it's similar to naming a child, in that you want a name that will promote their social well-being - you want them to fit in, while also being unique in their own right. The unique´ness in the name will make it easier to call your pet when in groups of other dogs that have more common names (maybe there is 3 dogs names Toby in the group)

We are expecting a new puppy into our household in only a month. This time a RiesenSchnauzer or a Giant Schnauzer if you will. So the two dogs can keep each other company while we are at work or at the gym.
We are thinking about the name Terra - as in Earth. Or the more round spoken name, Luna - as in Moon

Did you know! Dog´s can probably see in light five times
dimmer than a human can see in.

There are lists of names to find here are some links to sites I have been looking at while searching for pet names.

http://www.puppynames.com/

http://www.dognameswoof.com/dognames.htm

http://pets.htmlplanet.com/categ/male-literature-and-mythology.html

http://www.gloucestercitynews.net/clearysnotebook/2012/06/pet-tip-of-the-week-the-importance-of-a-name-cnbnewsnet.html

If your interested in reading about animals in general give this link a try...
http://www.peta.org/

Well, if you have any questions about having a MiniDoodle, feel free comment!
I hope this helped you finding a name for you pets. Puppy names stick with the dog for the rest of its life so make sure to choose the right name for your dog!
