Still Earnings a Home Income

I am still working hard with my home income, I just have neglected my blogs. By the time I put in a couple of hours working on my writing and miscellaneous income sites, I am ready to call it a night. I am still focused on making a real income from home, I just have to make time to do it in addition to working full time and being a full time single mom. I am also starting school in August. I am hoping that I can be able to work from home by then, instead of working full time away from my son.

One of my biggest earners would have to be Mturk. On Mturk it is not a residual income, but it is one of my biggest incomes when I have time to do the HITs. There are a few things in the site that seem like they are not worth the time, but I have learned that making a few cents during my down time makes a big difference.

I had hit a writers block during the Holidays, and did not write much. Even though I did not submit a lot of new articles to any site I still made a decent residual income from Holiday articles that I had published the past few years. My writing motivation is back, and I will be submitting a lot of articles soon.

Motivation and determination is the key to anyone wanting to make an income from home. If you have both of these you will be able to succeed. Keep your focus on what you are wanting in life and go for it. No one said it would be easy to reach your goals in life, but it will be worth it when you reach your goals.

October is going Great

Octobers online earnings have actually been going great, I just have overlooked my blogs for the last month. I am still writing a few articles a week and working on a few other online income sources. The last few weeks I have struggled a bit, but I have still been working as much as I can to reach my personal online earning goals. My most profitable online income source would have to be Mturk and Yahoo Contributor Network. These two sites are giving me a little extra income each month, and all of the other things together is helping me pay a few bills.

Progress Report for September

I have not reached all of my goals that I was trying too with my Home Income, but life can get in the way sometimes. I have been doing pretty well though. I have updated two of my blogs a few times this month, I submitted quite a few articles on a variety of sites, Squidoo has been doing great, and I have been committing at least an hour 5 days a week to doing other activities that make money online. I know that I did not reach all of the home income goals, but I am happy with what I am accomplishing. I am trying to get a schedule down, but with a 4 month old baby and working full time, I am having a hard time adjusting.

I am proud of one of my Squidoo Lenses, Your AVON Business. This lens has been doing great on the site, and I have been earning a little money off of it each month. I am not making a killing or anything, but if I can copy the earnings onto a few more of my Squidoo lenses I would actually make a decent monthly earning on the site. I am working on adjusting a few of my older lenses and see if I can replicate the earnings.

I submitted a few articles to Yahoo, and made a few dollars in upfront payments. I submitted one article a few days ago that received more than 20 hits within a few hours of it being submitted. It has continued to get a lot of views each day and I am hoping it will get even better. The article is Work at Home Mistakes to Avoid. I have gotten views on the other articles as well, but the views on Work at Home Mistakes to Avoid continues to grow. I am happy with articles that people enjoy reading, and hopefully they find it helpful.

There was one other article that I recently submitted that is doing well, and I really enjoyed writing it. The article, Single Mom Living on a Single Income, is personal to me. The things that I share in the article is things that I personally do to survive as a single mom on a single income.

I just wanted to share an update with my progress on my home income. It is a work in progress. I wish I could go back to working online and making a few hundred a month. I am still making money, but since I have slacked off on doing my work I have not been making near as much. This definitely shows that the more work you submit online, the more money you will earn on a regular basis. Meeting My Weekly Online Goals

I have been doing pretty good with meeting my online goals. I wrote a few articles, worked on other projects and feel like i am moving in a good direction. I have been adjusting to working outside the home as well, so it has been a little difficult to get everything accomplished until I get used to my schedule. The pressure that I have to make enough money to pay for everything is overwhelming at times. Not only am I taking care of my son, but I also have my mom, sister, and her three kids. I know I can do this, but I have to get everything on a set schedule and push myself to make sure everything online and around my home is taken care of. God has blessed me with the ability to take care of my family, all I have to do is get it all together!

New Life, New Goals

It has been a little while since I have updated my blog, but I have been busy. My family and I made the big move to Colorado on the 15th of August. It took weeks to get everything together, and hard work to get it all moved with three women and 4 kids. I have to say that I am proud of us, because we did it. This is a new life for us and I am making real goals in my life that I am sticking to.

To start I have found a job, and it is a decent job for the area that we live in. It will be full time and I will be able to get benefits after six months. The only problem is that the income will not cover everything in the house and my mom and sister are both disabled. I have a couple of options; find a second job or work even more online. I am choosing working even more online. In the last few months my work has suffered because I have not made myself stick to a schedule or focus on goals. Well that is going to change. This is my new life and I am going to make goals in all aspects of my life.

-Write 10 articles a week
-Update blogs at lease once a week
-Put together 5 Squidoo Lenses
-Work at lease an hour a day on my other projects

I am a new MOMMY

I am officially a new single mommy as of the 10th of June. I have been recovering since then, so I have not been able to update my blogs in the last few weeks. I am doing great, and feel like a new woman. I am tired as can be, but I know what my purpose in life is now. It is to raise my son the best I can and give him the life that I want him to have. In order to give him a better life I have to work my behind off. I can't go back to work for another few weeks, so my online income is my top priority. I know I am not going to have time to work online constantly, but I can work when he is sleeping.

In addition to being a new mommy, I am in the process of trying to move to Colorado Springs, CO by the end of June. It is my mom, sister, her three kids, my son, and myself trying to pack up a house and move to a complete other state. This is the biggest move I have ever done in my life, and i am a little worried, but I know God has it under control. If we stayed in Texas there would be nothing good coming from it, so it is time for all of us to start over.

Update on Mturk

I signed up for Amazons Mechanical Turk (Mturk) a few weeks ago. I have to say that in the beginning I was a little skeptical about the site, but I trust Amazon. It took me a few days to get comfortable with Mturk, but I have been able to learn a little bit every day.

The first week on the site I made a little more than $7. This was the week I took time to look around and try to figure out exactly what I was doing. i spent approximately an hour a day on Mturk for the first week. I was taking low paying tasks that I knew would be paid that day.

The second week i did do a little better, almost $9. I spent about the same amount of time on the site, but I was experimenting with different tasks. I learned that you really need to watch the time you put into a task. Some pay very little, but take more time than it is worth.

The third week was much better, I made more than $32. During the third week on Mturk I missed a few days, but I found a few great tasks that I could do in a fair amount of time. I figured out the time I put into tasks averaged to be about $5-$6 an hour. I wouldn't say it could be a full time income for me, but it is a great addition for me. Mturk is also helping a lot with my recent maternity leave.

My Opinion of Mturk:

I have been working on Mturk tasks for a little more than three weeks now, and I have learned that you can make a decent amount of money in your spare time. The best ways to make money is to try different tasks and see exactly which ones you can do timely enough that the pay is worth it. I do not recommend taking something that pays you .01 and takes 3-5 minutes to finish.

Now if you have a few minutes to work on Mturk and there is not a large amount of tasks that pay more you can take a few of those just to give you a little extra income. I will take some tasks that average lower than others, just to work the time that I have open. It gives me a few extra cents going to my personal income, and I was not doing much else with my time anyway.

Ehow has Made an Offer

I just happened to go into my Ehow account today to notice that Ehow is shutting down there WCP Program. I was actually very upset at first, but then I noticed that they were making me a very fair offer for all of my articles that I have submitted onto the site. They are offering me approximately 2.50 an article. Since my average time spent on an article was only about 30 minutes I feel that I have earned my time plus more on the site. I really wish that the site would not have changed like it did because I made a lot of money on Ehow.

Well I guess it is so long to Ehow. I will be going through my other sites and deleting any content that I had copied, since Ehow will own my content now. I am glad I did not put a lot of content on other sites. If any of you haven't checked your Ehow WCP for a while, I suggest doing it. They stop paying on the 5th of the month, and will remove all content that has not been sold to them by the end of the month.

Can You Make Money with Mturk

I had heard about Mturk before, but have always been a little skeptical. I finally decided to sign up for the Amazon site about three days ago. I have to say that in the beginning I was wondering around the site. I accepted a couple of HITS, but wasn't sure what would come of it. I spent about 10 minutes on Mturk and made about .20. Most of my time was trying to figure a couple of things out.

The HITS from the first day was approved very quickly, so I decided to try and earn more money. The next day I spent about 30 minutes on Mturk trying a few different HITS, and made close to $2. I have to say that I messed up and accepted a few that wasn't as easy as I thought, and received negative marks while wasting my time.

Since I began with Mturk I have made a little more than $5. I have not spent a lot of time on the site, only about 20 minutes a day. I try to do a few HITS that I can make the most money in the least amount of time. Doing this helps me get the most out of my time, and I can still focus on my other online income sources.

So Can You Make Money With Mturk?

In short, yes. Making money on Mturk will take a little getting used to, and you have to learn about the projects before jumping in. If you take your time, learn the HITS, and figure out which HITS are worth the time, you can make money. Within a matter of a few days I am halfway to the amount needed to cash out, and I have not spent much time on Mturk. I figure that I will be able to make quite a bit in my spare time during the day. I feel that every amount can make a difference in my home income, and my personal finances in general.

Fundraising for a Family in Need

I wrote a post the end of March explaining my efforts to help a family in need, and my efforts have been OK. With my online earnings I was able to raise about $200. I was a little disappointed about the website that I had created for her. There was only one donation of $100. I am thankful for the money that I have raised, but I am wanting to give her even more. I raised $300 for April, now I am going to try for one more month of fundraising for this single mom of three. I have a donate button on my blogs, and the website is Denise wade family fund. Inboxdollars Has New Earning Methods

I am an avid user of Inboxdollars, and have been for a couple of years. I enjoy reading a few emails or taking surveys and getting paid for it. A few months ago they added the search bar to there earning methods. You earn .02 per search, up to five a day. Now they have added even more earning methods; tasks and videos. I honestly do not know a lot about the tasks, but I have been using the video method of earning on Inboxdollars for a few days now. So far I have watched 20 videos, and earned .56. I do not think that is bad. I spent about 20 seconds on each video. On average I am making about .15 a day with the Inboxdollars videos. With the searches (3-5 minutes), videos (1 minute), emails (1 minutes), and occasional surveys (1-5 minutes, 2-5 days a week) I am earning about a dollar a day.I am happy making an extra $30 a month on one site, it is a great addition to my online income.

All of April Earnings will be Donated to a Family in Need

I know that I have a lot of struggles, and I need the online income that I do receive. There is someone that needs it worse than me, and I will be donating all of my April earnings to help them. I want to share there story so some of my readers may help if they can.

My sister, Denise Wade, has had a very hard time for the last 8 years. She has been on life support 8 times, had her pancreas, spleen, and part of her stomach removed. She has been diagnosed as a diabetic, and has ARDS (Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome). Just her transplant medication alone has a cost of $2000 a month. Denise is also on approximately 8-10 other medications that have a monthly cost of $1500 combined.

In addition to her medical problems Denise has recently been left by her husband of 16 years. She is disabled, and is a single mother of 3 great kids. In recent weeks she has learned that there is a big possibility of her losing her home because she is unable to keep up with the note. Denise has been blessed enough to get help with her utilities for the month of March, but has not been successful with any other help.

Denise, and her kids, needs my online income more than I do. I wish I could help them even more. I am also setting up a website in her honor, but it will not be active for a few days. As soon as it is running I will post it on here as well. If anyone know of anywhere that she can turn for help please let me know. I have been helping her find food pantries and other small places that help, but I do not want them to lose everything because of her not being able to work.

I just requested my payment of $31 from Inboxdollars. I have made over $100 from the site in the last year and a half. It may not sound like a lot, but I really do not spend a lot of time on the site. I have been earning even faster since Inboxdollars has given the option to use a search bar to earn. I have doubled my earnings every week by doing very simple things that I do every day anyway. I try to find some of the easiest ways to earn money online, and Inboxdollars is one of the easiest earning sites. The site does have a large payout of $30, but you actually enjoy receiving the larger amount. I wouldn't recommend using just Inboxdollars as a way of earning online, but it is a great addition to other income sources. Sendearnings is another great earner that is similar to Inboxdollars.

My Survey Changes

I have been a member of mysurvey for a few years now, and I have always loved how they worked. They have made some changes now that I really do not like very much. They used to offer checks as the only payment, now they do not offer checks at all. You can get gift cards, items, or paypal payments. These payment methods are ok, but all of these items cost more points.

I will still be a member of mysurvey for a long time, because I trust the people that run the site. I do not like the changes very much, but I can always adjust to change. With any online earning site you always have to adjust to the changes that they may make.

100 Firehow Articles

I have been with Firehow for about 9 months, and did not put a lot of focus on the site in the beginning. I have written more than 25 articles for the site since the beginning of December 2010 and reached the 100 article mark for the site today. I am actually very happy about this because my income has been increasing with my articles. I should reach close to payout every month now, instead of taking a couple of months to reach. Firehow is what I believe to be a great site, and has a lot of earning potential. I make a residual income of about $100 a month from Ehow with 400 articles, I honestly feel I could get close to that with Firehow if I keep working like I have for the last month. I have also made it to Firehow Expert Member!!

If anyone else had any success with Firehow, please let me know.

Happy New Year!

I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year, and wish everyone well in 2011. I am trying to push even more focus on my home income, and I am hoping for big things this year. 2011 has been a fairly good year when I have been focused. I have made over $1000 on Ehow and have not written on there in months. On other sites I have made about $700 give or take. I have enjoyed receiving my payments from these sites, but I am wanting to make more out of it this year.

I will be returning to school in a couple of months, and will be taking maternity leave in May. so I have to get my online income in order. I want it to be a good source of extra income so I will be able to spend more time with my new baby when it gets here. Thank you all for reading my blog throughout the year, and I hope to be able to share my success with everyone in 2011.

Bukisa

I have been writing for Bukisa a few months now, and make a little money. I have not put a lot of focus on Bukisa, but I have made payout a few times. Now Bukisa is making some changes, they are going to begin using Google Adsense to pay there writers. I have mixed feelings about this, but I am not going to give up the income. I changed my account over to Google Adsense a few days ago. I am actually showing a little bit of an increase in my income, which is always good. The only thing that bothers me is the fact that people have to click on ads to earn anything, whereas before I was earning on a view basis. I may have an increase as of now, but that could change on a monthly and even daily basis.

Bukisa is a site that I trust, and Google Adsense is a way of being paid that I trust, so why not trust them both together? I am going to continue to work on Bukisa to add to my monthly income. The next few months will show if it was a good choice for Bukisa to change, or if they are going to lose there writers because of less pay.

Squidoo?

In the last couple of weeks I have been trying to read up on sites that have a decent earning potential. Writing is one of the things that I am interested in. I found something on a site about Squidoo. I had actually heard about the site a while back, but did not look into it. I am now interested. I started with two lenses. My most popular one is Saving Money in Your Home, but I actually have not earned anything yet, but I did not know much about putting together lenses when I did it. I was actually considering giving up on the site, but I am determined to make more money online since I need to make my online income increase. I found a great lens that did get me excited about the site. The lens is Are you a a stay at home Mom(or Dad) Interested in Earning a Monthly Income? I read the lens on Squidoo and saw that there may be potential, so I am going to learn more about it and see if I can make Squidoo work for me. If you are a member of Squidoo and want to share your experience, please do. I would like to know what others think about the site.

I try to share what I am doing as far as my online income, but have not shared much about my personal life. I had to share this. I am pregnant with my first child, possibly twins! I am very excited, and very scared. I am single and this is my very first pregnancy. I know everything is going to be OK though. This just gives me even more to push for to earn money online and at my day job. I use this blog to share more of my online income, but I do have a blog where I share a little more of my personal life if anyone is interested. It is A Personal Financial Journey. In the last couple of weeks I have began to use some of the Amazon.com widgets and links hoping to increase my online income. I do not have experience with it, so I am learning. I have read about a lot of people actually making a good income doing marketing such as Amazon. I hope I can do that well. If any of you have any advice about Amazon.com please let me know. Last Month went pretty well

In the last month I have began to put my focus more into my online income again, and it is beginning to pay off. It is hard to stay focused all the time, especially when I was working two other jobs and found out I am going to be a mommy. I was very overwhelmed the last weeks or two, but I still worked on line a little each day. I am still not back to where I was a few months ago, but I did have a positive month.

Ehow:

Even though I have not been able to submit any more articles to the site I have still found ways to increase my earnings. I edit a few articles a week, submit to search engines, and promote the articles whenever I can.

Associated Content:

I did the same with Associated Content that I did with Ehow, but I also submitted articles for up front payment.

Firehow and Bukisa:

These two writing sites are still two of my lowest earning sites, but I do still earn money each month on both sites. I still promote a few articles from each site and submit to them a few times a month.

Inboxdollars, sendearnings, and mypoints:

These three sites are my favorite sites that do not include writing sites. I actually earn money or gift cards from all three without spending much time trying. I click on my emails through my phone and spend about 2 minutes on these sites each day. I usually make payout on both sendearnings and inboxdollars every three months. Mypoints is even better. In the last month I have earned enough points to get a $25 gift card.

These are a lot of things that I do online, but I also have blogs and other things going on. I am pushing to make more money online because I am 8 weeks pregnant with my first child and single. I do want to be able to spend time with my child without worrying about my finances. This is making me really focus on my online income.

Mypoints Will Be Helping With Christmas

I have been a member of Mypoints for a few months. Mypoints is a site that you read emails and do other things to get points, you then cash in the points for gift cards. I have already received one gift card in August. I decided to let my points build up and cash them in the first week of December. I should have enough to get $50-$70 in gift cards. These gift cards will be a big help for Christmas.

It did not take much to get these points. I read a couple of emails daily, installed the Mypoints search engine, and search a few times a day. I do these very things every day, so why not get compensated for them. Getting an extra $50-$70 for Christmas is a lot of help, and it did not take much to get the points.

Writing, writing, writing

Writing online has been my most profitable venture online by far. I started writing on Ehow about a year and a half or so ago. Since then I have joined Associated Content, Bukisa, and Firehow.

Ehow has made changes to there site, so I no longer write for them. Even though I no longer write for them I make $100 a month in residual income. I do still go to the site and update my work from time to time to keep it up to date, but I do not work on the site much.

Bukisa is a site that I have not put a lot of work into, but I make a little money on the site every month. I am sure if I would put more work into the site I would probably make quite a bit more, but nothing compared to my other sites.

Associated Content has been one of my top earners with the exception of Ehow. I have made more than I had expected. The only thing I would say about the site is to push for upfront offers. I make money every month from the views, but the upfront offers pay quite a bit more.

Firehow is one site that I feel is a very good up and coming site. The views on my articles have been increasing at a great rate, and my income has as well. If you like to write "how to" articles I recommend this site.

I also use another site to write on occasionally, but I use it more for promoting my articles. The site is Xomba. Xomba is a site that pays you through Google adsense. You can write articles, promote your blog posts, and promote your articles. I use it quite a bit for my blogs and articles. It has pushed me very close to getting my payout on a regular basis. Even if you do not use Xomba for writing, you should use it to promote your work.

I have not had a lot of motivation in the last few months to get to writing, but I am getting my passion back. Once I got through some very difficult times I realized that this is something that I enjoy doing, and I can make a decent income doing it. Writing is something that I will continue doing for a long time, and I hope that I can keep my passion this time, and keep it up.

To anyone wanting to make an income online you should really consider writing. It has been a way for me to make money and express myself through my words. It did take me a little time to get the hang of everything, and start earning, but it has been worth it.
