NY Giants Superbowl 2012

Last Sunday was a big sports event. And We watched the two different Championship matches. From Patriots, vs Ravens and Giants Vs 49ers.

I rooted for 49ers to advance to Superbowl 2012 against the NY Giants but sad to say they got beat. I liked the 49ers not for any reasons I simply like them because of the story behind their QB Alex Smith. How I wish they win but well...At least he has proven his worth though... But, it would be so great if they advance to Superbowl. It's been so long since the 49ers play in the playoff according to their record.

It was a great Sunday afternoon, and evening. After the game, I was able to watch my most fave tv show, AM Idol!!!

I miss my grandmother so much. She means everything not just to me, but most to my brother. I miss her hugs and her kisses.I miss all the foods that she used to cook for us. She just loved us so much that even though she was in pain she didn't care as long as she can fed us. She took good care of all of us, like no any grandmother in this world that I have ever known. If only she is still alive I would buy her a bunn because she loved to drink coffee like no any other grandmother in this world I guess. She prefer to drink coffee rather than eat. It was amazing!

Pool heat pumps

A good and kind neighbor friend of mine owns a good size swimming pool, where I spent most of my summer time swimming and at the same time I get to enjoy the heat of the sun burning my skin. I just love it though...Anyway, She has this good size swimming pool and she is thinking of buying pool heat pumps because she wanted to be able to still enjoy swimming even during spring, fall and winter season. She despise the fact that they can only enjoy their swimming pool only in summer time and they all love to swim. Buying a pool heat pumps is what she is now thinking.

Why condemned a person who didn't do the abused??? My friends and I were talking about this issue since it broke. I defended Joe Paterno which irritated my friend, she thought it was Joe's fault when Sandusky abused those young boys. But, my argument was, well, it wasn't Joe Paterno that abused those kids??? It's like when you are a parent and your kid is a rapist, can you condemned the rapist parents just because they are the parents??? Why condemned Joe Paterno?? I maybe pointless but, I still think Joe Paterno has nothing to do with Sandusky, maybe he should report to the police but maybe he thought it was none of his business, at all. anyway...

Now, he is gone for good...

Season 11 American Idol

American Idol is now in its now season 11 and still rocking!

Like I have said this is my favorite show, because I simply love watching those AM IDOL hopefuls and with their great voices. However, whenever there are contestants that have sad stories, they never fail to make me sad and worst made me cry as well. My eyes and heart cried with them.

Just like last Thursday night, one contestant, named Travis, and he was there last season 10 but never get through, he was knocked out on the Hollywood night, but he is pursuing his dream. And it just broke my heart how his mom left them... But, what touched my heart was his huge passion to keep pursuing his dream no matter what. He never stop and I do hope that somehow, some recording companies out there would give him a break!

A friend of mine just purchased an apple mac two nights ago. She'd been dreaming of owning a MAC laptop for so long and finally she got one now. She could have easily buy one then, but of course she prioritized her family back home. Building them houses, and sending them $$$ to start a business. but then, she couldn't resist anymore and she needed to buy and materialize her long time dream.

She bought an Apple® - MacBook® Pro / Intel® Core™ i7 Processor / 13.3" Display / 4GB Memory / 750GB Hard Drive, and it cost her almost 1500+... Whew! And, she is been trying to convince me to buy one, too. Oh! How I wish I could. But, right now, I got no plan of buying a laptop yet, because I think, mine is still working good and I got no issues or whatsoever with it, anyway. Plus 1500+ is a lot of money. Isn't it??? But she said it is really worth it!

A good friend of mine is been busy learning how to play guitar. She is in to it. Just two days ago she showed me her electric guitars which her friend gave it to her as a Christmas presents.It is her ultimate goal to be able to play guitar, and in just a matter of two days, she is now able to play some songs while strumming with her guitar, and she even play a birthday song on my birthday via voice calling through yahoo messenger. It was so sweet...

sheepskin rugs

Have you seen an actual sheepskin rugs? I have not, honestly. However, I was wondering how it would feel to have sheepskin rugs in my house??? Oh! My!!! That would be so cool. Then I search for sheepskin products online and to see how the sheepskin looks like. Sheepskin rugs look so comfortable and very fashionable as well. When I saw it, I was like, Wow!!! Sheepskin rugs are extremely beautiful.

Moreover, one day, the mother of my friend picked us up and treated us for fine dining one night. And we used her car, then one thing I noticed were the cover of her car sets. I just felt so comfortable. Amazingly comfortable, so I couldn't help but asked. Then she told me that I was actually sitting in luxury car seat covers. I was like, really??? Oh! My...Thank goodness...Then before we went home, she decided to show me her unique designer sheepskin rug features floral detailing and quilted suede backing that she uses in front of her beautiful fireplace. What a fabulous accent for her living room, bedroom, and hearth. Sheepskin rug adds luxurious warmth and comfort. Indeed.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Today, 16th of January marked as one of the significant day in American History and it is known as the Martin Luther King Jr. Day. MLK was born on January 15, 1929 and he is popularly known as civil right activist who followed the teachings of Mahatma Ghandi and used a nonviolent method. "I have a dream" is his most famous speech where it served as a very inspirational message to everyone, and still is to these days.
He was assassinated on April 4 1968. To honor his worth Martin Luther King, Jr. Day was established as a U.S. federal holiday in 1986, and was first observed in all states in 2000.

Wetsuits

When my friends and I went to Palawan, one of the majestic place on earth, we were amazed how beautiful the place was. It was on of my best vacation place. It isn't just beautiful, it also offers different kinds of adventures. There are a lots of things to do, such as: Scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking and a whole lot more.

I don't have any idea on how to scuba dive or even snorkeling, and just for experience sake, my friends and I decided to scuba dive. There were private trainers who educated us first on what to do, and everything that we ought to know before we will explore the beautiful Palawan sea. And, most of all our trainers informed us also about what we need to wear which they also provide and it's included in the package. That was my very first time to wear a wetsuits and I just love it. It hugged so tightly in my body, but it was very comfortable, too. At first attempt it was kinda rough but after that, I found scuba diving a beautiful hobby. However, vacation galore had to end and we needed to go back to reality. But Scuba diving was the best experience I had had.And wearing a wetsuit made me feel so sexy.

Today is the Friday the 13th and there are people who believe in bad luck or something in this very day. And, there are people who fear the number 13 specifically for some reasons. As according to a superstition that number 13 is unlucky number and Friday is unlucky day. What a coincidence???

And for the believers Number 13 is a disaster. Are you a believer??? Am I a believer? The fear of Friday the 13th can date back before the 19th century. And, the biography of Gioachino Rossini, in 1869 was the earliest documented reference in English.

Today, the fear of Friday the 13th still exists especially to those who fear that the number 13 is indeed an unlucky number so as Friday as the unlucky day.

Snow Storm 2012

Last night the snow started falling and it according to weather forecast we are going to have a snow storm. Today the snow is still falling continuously to the ground and it seems to be there are 2 to 3 inches thick of snow now.

We never get snow last year and before today our weather here is pretty much great for a winter season. We were all wondering if we were going to get snow this year, because the weather even reached 63 degree F in January. I actually miss the white snow laying on the ground. And, I guess this is it!!!

When I first got my blackberry phones I was extremely happy, and I can explain enough how happy I was. For me my blackberry phone was the best of all, and it still is. Yes! Most people love the iPhone but I prefer my Blackberry phone. It is sleeker than sleek. I just simply love it. Right now, I am thinking of buying a new Blackberry phone and I would like to have a white one or silver. I may buy one pretty soon, I am just thinking about it and weigh things first. But I sure want to have a new one.

I was reading this article about the End of the world and the possibilities how the world could end. A very interesting article. In a few more days we will be about to welcome the catastrophic year "2012" will it be the end??? Oh! My... Who would know? Are those apocalypse true?

Well, we better be prepared. I have been watching some news about how some people are actually making money out of this prediction. Selling space, kits or stuff that people would need in this event. Whew!!! That's just a rocket I guess. Anyway...

Now that my kids are teenagers, they really try to get away with murder. They hate the fact that I give them an earlier curfew than some of their friends have, and we fight about it all the time. The kids have even resorted to sneaking out, which really made me mad. Not only did they sneak out, they got in trouble for throwing a party at one of their friend’s houses. I was so mortified when their friend’s mother called me to let me know, that I vowed this would not happen again. I immediately searched Jamaica Plain ADT security and started the process to outfit our home with a home security system. Of course, the kids think I’m overreacting, but they are the ones who caused this. I hope that installing this security system sends them the message that I mean business. I can’t just let them run wild and expect them to become productive and respectful adults. I hope that my tactic will work because sometimes I just feel like they are out of control. I just worry so much about them, but they can’t understand.

I got alarmed because I didn't have any clue to what else I could get for my boyfriend for Christmas, and it was getting close, and he seemed to be to have everything he would ever wanted. Buying presents always isn't easy for me. I considered lots of things such as price, quality, or is it's what the person would want to receive??? I always buy presents where the people would actually put into use.

Then all of a sudden, I remember, since he loves to golf a lot, then I checked for either yellow golf balls and, premium golf balls. I honestly don't have any idea what are the differences of these two golf balls. But, I know for sure he needs some golf balls. I am very much aware that I would never go wrong for buying him a fine quality gild balls, because he would always put them into use. I've known and I've seen that he has tons and tons of white golf balls and only few yellow ones, of course he also has the premium ones. But, I know he would be delighted to see and receive some NEW yellow golf balls and premium golf balls under his Christmas tree.

This is a very exciting news for everyone, and also for those who didn't know yet, and just an FYI, For approximately 11 days this holiday season starting December 18th, Qualcomm Stadium will be renamed Snapdragon Stadium! That's right, the San Diego wireless chip giant, which has held the naming rights on the Mission Valley stadium since 1997, is temporarily changing the name from Qualcomm Stadium to Snapdragon Stadium.

Helicopter ride

Have you experience to have a private helicopter ride? I think that would be sooo cool, isn't it??? I would like to experience it though. I think it doesn't cost that much either, as long as you have set aside a budget for this ride, then you are good to go. I think this would be a great once in a lifetime entertainment. Being able to view places in your vicinity and the feeling of excitement would surely bring so much joy for the Holiday season.

Helicopter ride is just one of the few things I would love to experience, and I hope I could one day. It may not be now, or soon but one day. When will be that one day??? I ain't no clue yet. hehe!
