Bye bye 2011

2011 is finishing, I’ll always remember this year, which began as a sweet dream, but it’s ending with the harshest reality. On the other hand, in this New Year it will begin a new stage of my life, so it will be a very important year for me.

As I am saddened that this year ends, so does to announce that My Cherry Gum is taking a break again, this time perhaps for long time. In the New Year 2012 I have to focus in other things, in my real life. This year, I will finish my final thesis and make true one of my biggest dreams since I was a little girl (I was about 10) : to become Engineer.

Also I’ll start working, and probably I’ll become independent ... because of that, it’ll be a great change year for me, so I cannot blogging for now. I know I will lose followers, but I also know that when I return, those who are truly will continue being here. It's like friends, you can have hundreds of friends, but only the real ones are still there for you when you come back from a long absence. And frankly, those people who are still for anything you need after all this time are the only ones that are well worth it in your life.

2011 está terminando, siempre recordaré este año, el cual empezó con un dulce sueño, pero termina con la más cruda realidad. Por otro lado, en este nuevo año que viene empezaré una nueva etapa de mi vida, por lo que va a ser un año muy importante para mi.

Al igual que me apena que este año acabe, siento anunciar que My Cherry Gum se va a tomar un nuevo descanso, esta vez puede que por mucho tiempo. En el nuevo año 2012 tengo que centrarme en otras cosas, en mi vida real. Este año, terminaré mi proyecto fin de carrera y haré uno de mis mayores sueños - desde que era una niña (creo que tenía unos 10 añitos) - hecho realidad: ser ingeniera.

Además empezaré a trabajar y probablemente que me independice… por todo ello, por ser un año de grandes cambios para mi, no creo que pueda seguir con el blog por el momento. Se que perderé seguidores, pero también se que cuando vuelva los que son de verdad seguirán estando. Es como las amistades, puedes tener cientos de amigos, pero sólo los verdaderos siguen estando ahí para ti cuando vuelves de una gran ausencia. Y sinceramente, esas personas que siguen estando para lo que necesites después de tanto tiempo, son las únicas que merece la pena que estén en tu vida.

Tango

Two things about me: I love dancing and I consider myself a very passionate woman. There could not be better combination of these two features in one of my favourite dances: the tango. Therefore, I did not hesitate any moment to enjoy a show of such an intense dance in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Why I like so much tango? I love it because it makes me feel my heart beating, by the feeling that runs through my body when I see how the couple merge into each other; they feel carried away by the music. I like the way, man holds on powerfully and delicately to the woman by the waist, and how woman touches her partner's face, grabs his neck, shoulders, and how they look into their eyes with fire, as if nobody were around, as if the two were alone.

Dos cosas sobre mi: me encanta bailar y me considero una mujer muy pasional. No se podrían juntar dos características mejor en uno de mis bailes favoritos: el tango. Por ello, no dudé ni un momento en disfrutar de un show de este baile tan intenso en Buenos Aires, Argentina.

¿Y por qué me gusta tanto el tango? Me enamora porque me hace sentir el corazón latir, por la sensación que recorre mi cuerpo al ver como la pareja se fusiona, se sienten el uno con el otro dejándose llevar por la música. Por cómo el hombre sujeta con fuerza y delicadeza a la mujer por la cintura, cómo ésta acaricia la cara de su compañero, le agarra del cuello, de sus hombros; y como se miran a los ojos con fuego en sus miradas, como si nadie más hubiera alrededor, como si ellos dos solos estuvieran.

Caballos en Madrid

Do you know I haven’t lived always in the place I currently live? I moved in to Madrid when I was 14 years old. My parents decided to move because of my education and for me to go to university. Before I used to live in a huge country house where I used to ride my bicycle, play basketball with my brother and run with my dogs. My room’s window overlooked the garden where there was a huge weeping willow. So, because of that, I love these trees so much, it is what I always saw out my window while studying, also I used to lay down beneath it to read and write, I've always liked to write stories.

Another thing I've always liked are horses, they have always been my favourite animal but I was unable to have any. When I was little my father would have liked to buy me a horse, I envied my older brothers because at least, they enjoyed the horses that had my grandfather. I didn't get to meet him, neither he nor his horses. So the other day walking around Madrid, when I saw so many horses through the city, I could not avoid taking these photos and display them in my secret place, in My Cherry Gum.

Autumn Shirt

Autumn in Spain has arrived quite late, last year while living in Belgium I used to complain about rain but I wish it rains a little bit more here! I think winter is coming without having realized autumn… this crazy sunny Spain! Haha I like the perception I have of my own country after having lived abroad. I notice more little things like the good food, friendly people and sunny days. Now, I understand why north-European people love Spain and why it is so popular for tourism! Anyway, I have already told you about one of my favourite new Spanish designers Cati Serrà, I showed my winter pants last autumn and I would like to show you my last acquisition of the Cati Serrà autumn 2011 collection, a perfect over-size shirt. I love its fabric and colour, it’s perfect!

Colonia del Sacramento

Colonia del Sacramento is a city in south-western Uruguay, by the Río de la Plata, facing Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is the oldest town in Uruguay. Founded in 1680 by Admiral Manuel Lobo, it is a typical Portuguese city of the XVII contrasting with the architectural mapping shared by all cities of Spanish origin. Today charms tourists from all over the world with its well-preserved architectural richness, and it is renowned for its historic quarter, a World Heritage Site. One of the curiosities is that Colonia has a Plaza de Toros (bullring), which is abandoned because bull fighting was prohibited by the Uruguayan national government in 1912.

Punta del Este & José Ignacio

Punta del Este is a resort town on the Atlantic Coast in the Maldonado Department of south-eastern Uruguay. It is considered the most important and exclusive resort of South America, apart from being one of the most famous cities, where so many famous people from the International jet set visit it.

Summer resort, natural and sophisticated, Punta del Este has scenic coasts and beaches. There are two types of coastlines: Brava and Mansa. This shows the end of the 'Río de la Plata' (River of Silver) on one side and the beginning of the Atlantic Ocean, on the other side. The split between wave types is around the 'Monumento al Ahogado', which the sculptor designed to warn swimmers that the rough waves could cause them to drown.

Another place you can visit in Punta del Este is the Sea Wolf Island, which measures 41 hectares of rocky surface and it’s also the biggest colony of sea wolf in South America, in front of the oceanic beaches of Punta Del Este. However, you can see some of them near the port, when the fishermen arrive to the port after a day of work, you can see sea wolfs sunbathing and waiting to be given some fish to eat.

Within 40 kilometres of Punta del Este, there is a paradisiacal and privileged corner of the Atlantic Uruguayan coast: the resort of José Ignacio. José Ignacio owes its name to a local villager who lived in the area in the times of the Spanish conquest. Probably, it was my favourite place in Uruguay, where tranquillity and peace are interrupted only by the wind. There, we admired a wonderful sunset, uniquely scenic, natural and charming place.

Uruguay is a special country, full of nostalgia and humility. Never a place made me feel so many emotions that my heart almost exploded with feelings. When I was there, I was even afraid because it moved me so much and it reminded me a lot my childhood. Have you ever had the feeling of not wanting to experience something, because you love it too much that scares you? That happened to me.

Fire, ‘asados’ (like barbecue), great meadows, the sunset at the countryside with horses in the horizon, the wet house, staying with family by the fireplace ... the guitar. When I remember it, I am again moved. It was a trip back in time of what I was, I am and I always will be. It was a trip to my life, where I have always belonged. The strangest thing of all of this, it is that I felt like home, even though I was so far away.

Uruguay es un país especial, lleno de nostalgia y humildad. Jamás un lugar me había hecho sentir tantas emociones que casi mi corazón explotaba de sentimientos. Cuando estaba allí, hasta me asustaba que me conmoviera tanto y me hiciera recordar tanto mi infancia. ¿Alguna vez habéis tenido la sensación de no querer vivir algo porque os gusta tanto que asusta? Eso me pasó a mi.

La lumbre, los asados, las largas praderas, el atardecer en el campo con los caballos a lo lejos, la casa húmeda, estar en familia al lado del fuego… la guitarra. Sólo de recordarlo vuelvo a emocionarme. Fue un viaje en el tiempo de lo que yo fui, soy y seré siempre. Un viaje a toda mi vida, a donde siempre pertenecí. Lo más raro de todo es que me sentía como en casa, aunque estuviera muy lejos.

Uruguay is a wonderful and peaceful country with real people, the ones with a great heart. What saddens me most is to believe that perhaps I will never be able to go back to the place where I could probably belong.

Uruguay es un país maravilloso, lleno de buena gente, de la de verdad, con buen corazón y sencillez. Lleno de buena carne y mucha paz. Lo que más me entristece es pensar que quizás jamás pueda volver, y sentir que existe un lugar al que sí que podría pertenecer.

Life, my life.

Where am I from? I am from that place that invades my heart, which filled it of love, of satisfaction. I'm from everywhere and nowhere. I'm a bit from where I was born, where I lived, people who became part of my life, every conversation I had in every part of the world. And yes, I'm finding myself, and yes I'm going to get it. Because we are all equal, wherever we are from, we are all people of this world, this universe. And if others can, me too.

Rio de Janeiro

Today I am going to start with my unforgettable first trip to the Southern Hemisphere. Firstly, I went to Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), where I visited my lovely friend Mariana.
There is no city as Rio de Janeiro. The city is best known for its beaches, carnivals, football, music and its well preserved tropical forests. I was totally shocked when I saw that amazing city full of skyscrapers but also mountains, forests, lot of flora and wonderful beaches forming the most breathtaking landscapes.

Recently, the statue of Christ Redeemer was amongst the Seven Wonders of the World. Probably, when I was up there I couldn’t understand very well why it was one of the Seven Wonders, but believe me, it really impress being at night there and see a huge illuminated Christ taking care of such a huge city!

Two of the best beaches on earth, Ipanema and Copacabana, are in Rio and the white sands and blue waters draw a lot of attention from surfers, water sports lovers and other tourists who just want to enjoy a pleasant sun bathe. I loved the coconuts and people selling them through the beaches, I also was impressed that they sell bikinis at the beach!

There is usually any excuse for a party in Rio, whether it is for a weekend Samba party, random music jams in the streets, or festivities at soccer matches, there is always a time and a place to join a celebration in this colourful city. We went to a ‘favela’ one night; it was a safe one because a police office was just there (so don’t be scared). It’s unbelievable how people live there; they just go and build their houses without paying anything. There are people very poor but maybe happier that the rich ones.

I was impressed by such a large city where in winter they go to the beach (I would say it is always summer in Brazil). It is a city with lot of different people, they are from many cultures, people very alternative, relaxed and artistic.

The fruit is very tasty, I tried a lot of tropical fruits that I've even forgotten the names! I liked the music, people playing on the street, the food, plants and animals (my friend told me that she could see monkeys when she used to go to the school!) ... It is amazing.

I just can add that Rio the Janeiro in ‘My Favourite Cities of the World’ list ;)

Rio de Janeiro was magical, but not only the city and the people I met over there, it was also magical every feeling my soul experimented there. Being in places so different to my world helps me to become a better person and I like it a lot!

Polka Dots & Denim

One of the surprises of the fall 2011 runways is the reappearance of an old favourite trend, polka dots. We are familiar with the fact that every so often an old favourite re-emerges as the latest hot trend. The dots have appeared in shows like Stella McCartney, Diane von Furstenberg, Paul Smith, Gucci or Marc Jacobs. Latest trends in polka dots are certainly designed to bring a feeling of pleasure and joy to any outfit they adorn. It gives us up an inspiration from vintage stylings. The polka dots will range from bold to micro and also appear in a wide variety of different colours.

Last year I was complaining about the Belgian rain at this time, now I am complaining about hot weather, haha. It is already autumn, it is October but we still feel like summer or spring. So here in Spain we have to wait I little bit more to wear those autumn jackets or booties. Because of that, I have combined these vintage polka-dots pants with my vintage denim shirt to obtain a fresh and comfortable outfit.

Talking about dots... I would like to mention the lost of a great genius, Steve Jobs. Once I was lost in my life and thanks to his speech, I picked up all forces to achieve my goals.

Destiny & Decisions

Do you believe in destiny?

There are some important moments in life that you have to take an important decision, which can affect for the rest of your life. Some people need more time, other less time to figure out what they really want in life. The thing is that some times, people need to experience some things before taking the decision that can change your entire life. Probably, things that happen to us are for a reason, because if not… nothing in life would have any sense. I know that I was there because I was bound to be there, also people that were there in the same moment that me was because we were supposed to be in the same place at the same moment.

Have you ever seen Lost? They all were connected between each other, they all had a reason in their life’s to go to Australia in that flight. In my opinion, life is like that, it set up the right people in the moment they have to be. Some times we think that we should have met someone special in another moment, I don’t think so… If we have met someone in one period of our life but not in another one, it was because of something. Probably it was for starting believing in something, even if later you have to be in another place. Everything in life has a reason, indeed each second, each experience make us being the way we are and the place we are suppose to be in a future. I experienced what I had to live. However, let see in a future the reason…

München

A year ago we went off to Oktoberfest ... three girls and a boy taking care of us, but the truth is that at the end I took care of all of you, I was the only one who knew how to drive properly throw the German roads… haha joking... it was both of us, by that time we were a great team.

We met there with some friends who lived in Munich, 'your friend'. It's amazing how silly things can change our life: a look, a gesture… I remember you on the table, I was speaking with a German guy, but I was looking at you. Later, we both felt it, nothing happened, but clearly that something grew into us. Probably, it was the feeling that we knew what we both wanted, but knowing also that it was forbidden.That ban, drove us to be mad, or maybe not. I am not sure what it was, but the fact is that, although we continued with our lives, that day everything started. We had never imagined that that feeling impossible to be controlled would have had such impact in our lives.

We are continuing with our way but...

Oktoberfest will be there forever!

We spent one day in Oktoberfest and the next day we went around the city, I was impressed how beautiful was Munich, there are beautiful buildings, parks and lot of museums all around!
As you see I still have some nostalgia to my Erasmus year... Now I am really focus to finish uni, doing right now my final thesis and enjoying being with my family and friends, because in a future...

Who knows where I will be! :)

Madrid Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2012

Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week finished last week showing the spring/summer collection 2012 of the best Spanish designers. This year I went to see Ana Locking show but I have seen all the other shows in vogue.es

I have done a selection of my favourites Spanish designers for next season. Enjoy it :)

1. Ana Locking.

This season I went to Ana Locking catwalk as a photographer for Doll’s Factory, where you can see the article of Madrid Fashion Week that I have contributed in.
The most I liked about her designs where the exposed or transparent backs and the mix of fabrics such as satin, tulle and silk. I also like the colours like that beautiful blue and some of the prints she has used.

2. Angel Schelesser.

Angel Schlesser women: urban, sophisticated and looking for a functional elegance. The pastel orange and camel palette combine with aggressive black outfits and white finished aluminium. I like the total white looks and the mineral prints. The key piece of summer are the dungarees, one-shoulder, light and oversize patters.

3. Hannibal Laguna.

Hannibal Laguna collections are designed exclusively for red carpet ceremonies and other events at night. However, I felt in love how he soften the silhouette in some of his designs using light fabrics such as silk and muslin (some of my favourite fabrics). Love the dress falls and the layers with long flight. Even more, he combines the colours palette with passional ones like burgundy reds, and nude and arenas for the lightest. Because of that, he becomes one of my Spanish favourites of next season.

4. Juanjo Oliva.

Juanjo Oliva recreated the retro, classic and timeless drama representing the divas of Hollywood black and white. I like the simplicity, classicism and sobriety of his designs, but what I most admire is the absolutely sensuality the dresses express, love the nudity of the back and the designs exploiting the full feminine curves. What is more I am a fan of coral colour, which he used in his palette. Designs are similar to Yves Saint Laurent.

5. Kina Fernández.

Kina Fernández has became one of my favourite Spanish designers. Her spring-summer 2012 collection for Madrid Fashion Week is focused in the use of colour and draping. I like the combination of coral, turquoise and vanilla colour. I also like that her designs express romanticisms, but also powerful and lot of personality. You can probably has noticed that I like more soften fabrics that structural ones, I like that of Kina Fernandez, the use of drapes creating fluids and light tissues; and the dresses with lots of movement.

6. Roberto Verino.

Roberto Verino inspiration for spring 2012 collection has led to a public street fleeing adventures that go nowhere. The designs are with tropical and exotic dyes illustrated with natural supplements. The collection aims to reconcile with the nature of fashion and dress deluxe version. I liked the colour palette used, lot of browns, chocolate, beige, sands and numerous shades that seems to emerge form a warm sunset in the desert.

7. Sita Murt.

The designer Sita Murt has been influenced by minimalism but sporty and urban style at the same time for Cibeles spring/summer 2012 collection. I like the purity of her clean simple patterns and the relaxed but sophisticated designs.

The colour palette was been sober and has ranged between white and lead grey with some touches of sand and smoked blue. The fabrics have perfectly combined, of course, point, linen, cotton and satins.

8. TCN.

I loved the new collection of TCN. It represents a casual and relaxed fashion with very well selection of materials and impeccable style. I liked the mixture of colours such as aqua, coral, smoked blue, mustard ... and textures, from a depth to the silk, a sort of collage made of pieces that seem to fit naturally. I also like that nerd inspiration but at the same time romantic and cosmopolitan, given by garments with bohemian style. It was a large heterogeneous collection well coordinated.

9. Victorio & Lucchino.

Victorio & Lucchino Cibeles has presented its new collection for spring-summer 2012, a proposal whose main theme is in juxtaposing dusty-coloured clothing like cream, stone, nude and pink stick; with fluoride elements such a belt and contours in which the energy yellow and fuchsia are surprising in their strength and roundness.
I admire the way they have managed to screw the fabric resulting floral rosettes that appear in the garments to shape the shoulders and waist. I liked a bolero and vest, both built of casings in a similar way to Givenchy.

Plitvička Jezera

Plitvička Jezera is the oldest national park in Southeast Europe and the largest national park in Croatia. The national park was founded in 1949 and is located roughly halfway between capital city Zagreb and Zadar on the coast, at the border to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The protected area extends over 296.85 square kilometres. The Plitvice Lakes National Park, Croatia's most popular tourist attraction, was added to the UNESCO World Heritage register among the first natural sites worldwide in 1979. The park harbours a grand collection of waterfalls, gallery of lakes, forest and diversity of animal life. The lakes are renowned for their distinctive colors, ranging from azure to green, grey or blue. Plitvička Jezera National Park is definitely a must-seen.

However, if you don't want to spend lot of money in a hotel I recommend you to sleep in one of the little villages near to the National Park (there is also a camping near). We spent the night in a small town called Korenica.

DKNY Fall Fashion and Trends

Hvar

We went to spend one day to the cosmopolitan Hvar town in Hvar island, Croatia. The island of Hvar is the queen of the Croatian Dalmatian islands. It has been famous since the antique because of its important strategic and nautical position, the rich of the various historical periods, the culture and natural monuments and the literature. Hvar is considered to be one of the 10 most beautiful islands in the world.
Although we visit just Hvar town, all the island might be a completely Mediterranean paradise, as for its unique gastronomy as for its amazing beaches and bays with crystal blue sea.

It's so nice to remember these beautiful adventures around Croatia... I'll never forget that wonderful trip with my lovely friend Magda :).

Fashion's Night Out Madrid 2011

From Paris in France, Milano and Rome in Italy; to Sao Paolo and Rio de Janeiro in Brazil or Sydney in Australia; passing through Madrid in Spain. Fashion Night out is back for the third year in a row and it is the first year that I don’t have any exams, neither I am abroad so I was able to go last evening to the after-hours shopping night in Madrid.

It is famous for all FNO's exclusive events, special designs by the most glamorous brands, celebrities going around, DJ’s, champagne, lot of photographers, discounts and all possibilities to shop and have fun one night all over the world. But there were too many people that you cannot enjoy all these things. At the beginning I was not going to go because I don't like those crowded places where you can't almost move and feel free, but I needed to buy my Kiehl's moisturizer, which was almost finished, and I wanted to take advantage of this night discounts (which eventually I didn't get it).

At the end became what I thought. There were so many people! It was woth it more for seeing friends than anything else, and as my friend Carolyne told me, the good thing was that everyone was so happy and friendly because they felt beautiful!

Welcome to Madrid I

I could write during days to explain why Madrid is so beloved, Madrid is amazing, it is unique. Madrid is for me the best city of the world! (Sorry for my friends from Rio… but Madrid is better… haha).

Why I love Madrid? I don’t need to explain a lot but this city is wonderful, it’s the best city to live in, now I can say I am very sure about that. Madrid is a capital city but it still feels personal and human-sized. Even it is the capital of Spain! I don’t need to explain much more… haha. Spain, European country with good weather, nice people, delicious food, amazing beaches, mountains, cities… everything… Madrid, the capital, cosmopolitan city with beautiful parks, cool restaurants, friendly citizens, gorgeous night-life, multinational companies, safe. You can walk anywhere secure, there is also a metro but walking is not a problem, even it’s so nice because all the streets are full of cafes and little shops, ofcourse Shopping in Madrid is for becoming crazy, there are lot of districts with shops in both sides of the streets and stores with some floors high.

Although, Madrid is an international city, it still authentically Spanish at the same time. The food, we have so many varity to choose and you can never get tired of the same… there are so many flavours and different ways to cook. Yummy!! Also, there is something to do every night of the week… The centre as such is quite small, and has an impressive number of tapas places, wine bars, international restaurants, theatres, operas, pubs, shops, universities… sometimes you still feel as if you were in a town or a village. Madrid can also boast over 3,000 hours of sun a year, allowing everyone to soak up some sunshine during the standard two-hour lunch break at one of the many patios open year-round.

All in all, Madrid is small and has everything you need at the same time.

I'm glad to be back in Madrid!

Erasmus finished

One year ago I was starting my Erasmus experience in Ghent (Belgium). I could have never expected all the things I have lived there. I have changed a lot, I am not the same and I cannot have the same life I had before leaving.
I have read that there are two kinds of people after Erasmus: the ones who feel peaceful when they came back home, and the ones who are depressed. I admit that I like to be back at home, sleeping in my comfortable bed and eating my mum’s delicious food again. I have came back and I value more the things and people I have here. I have realized who are the important people in my life and that I want different things, like enjoying more being with my family and my friends.

However, I have had so many wonderful experiences during last year that I cannot avoid to have some post-Erasmus depression. That experience is going to be in my heart forever, I don’t regret about anything because it is the best choice I could have done in my life. Erasmus is not just party, as everybody thinks, but it is such a huge personal experience. I am much more self-confidence, more open-minded, tolerable, and I have learnt to be alone without any problem. It is not as easy as it looks to be abroad alone and to leave a perfect live behind, but all the values obtained that have enriched me as a person, it was worth leaving.

Now I have came back home as a new person but there is a bit of post-Erasmus nostalgia: "Nobody prepares you for what comes next: after this dream the student ends up feeling weird in his own country, feeling that he can not share with anyone this enriching experience. How briefly summarize many experiences and emotions? How to exchange views if only you who has been out?"

Nevertheless, I feel so grateful to everyone I have met during this experience, and I wanted to keep some of these moments here, in My Cherry Gum...

When I was a little girl I used to read repeatedly my favourite book, "Children around the world". While I was reading I could known children from different countries and see how they lived, how was their school, the food they ate, their hobbies... Now, those children have grown up and I can say that I have been with all of them in Ghent. Because those children were all of you, my friends from all over the world.

Today I was thinking about showing you more photos of my trips, then I realized that I don’t have the enough time, neither the enough forces to continue writing here as it deserve it. I know I was trying to continue telling a bit about my experience this year, but it has been almost impossible. It is not only because time, it is also courage. Do you know about those periods of your life that you don’t feel like doing something… well probably I don’t feel right now like continuing with My Cherry Gum. Of course, it is not about you, it’s about me.

I cannot say that I am depressed or whatever, indeed I have had the best year of my life. I am sorry for people that shared with me also wonderful moments of my life but this year… I have no words to describe it… it has been only "bitter-sweet", I have cried, laughed, danced, travelled, loved… I don’t regret about anything that I have done or decided, that is for sure – If I felt it, probably it was because I had to-. Life is like that, it can be better, worst or just different, but I am not going to regret about anything that I felt to do; at least I know what is TO LIVE.

Probably I have changed, or maybe the point is that I have become the one that I was bound to. Probably, I pretended being the unreal me, I pretended Krimly… but the truth it’s that I am Maria… I am a normal girl who loves a lot enjoy life, who loves her family, her real friends who where always there and not the new ones who disappear when you have a problem. I am a normal girl who really loves travelling and being happy. I know I am strong, I know everything is going to be ok, I know that the most important things for me are my family, my friends, health and love, the rest are just additional, but the first values are the ones, which matter me, the real ones. It is not a problem I didn’t pass all my courses last year, I’ll pass them later; but I can say I enjoyed the wedding of two of my best friends… those moments are the ones that stay in your heart forever.

Now, I can say that if something bad happen to me tomorrow… I have LIVED. Of course I want to continue living… but It’s the moment to change. I am right now in one moment of my life that I know it’s going to change everything… now a new period of my life is going to start… is time to live something different, to sacrifice and risk.
Well ... but until then, I have to keep focused on my last months living here. So, My Cherry Gum is officially closed until September, when I go back to Spain, finally to my beloved Madrid. These months I will continue enjoying the Erasmus, and travelling a bit more.

By the way, have tons of fun this summer!! :)
