Lakefront Jazz & Blues 2011

2011-07-16T00:00:00.000-05:00

Today I went to the Lakefront Jazz and Blues Festival. There was lots of good music, and opportunities to take photos of awesome musicians. Here are a few of my favorites:

Hypnotized

2011-05-25T00:00:00.000-05:00

Another part of senior week is the Hypnotist. The same hypnotist that was there during Freshman orientation comes back and presents his show again. Here are a few pics:

Smelling the worst smell ever.

Proud of his new largest favorite body part.

Exploring her new largest favorite body part.

Terrified of his ever-approaching finger.

Giving birth.

Cradling his newborn.

Being MJ.

Tunnel Tours

2011-05-24T00:00:00.000-05:00

This last semester was really busy, and almost all of us made it. We are now at senior week and the infamous tunnel tours are here. The tunnel tours are an annual GAC tradition where Seniors who have donated to the class legacy get to go into the tunnels and sign the class mural. This year was also special because we got to go into the basement of the new academic building. Here are some pics I took:

The Storm Approaches

It thunder stormed tonight. I thought I would try and get some pictures of the lightning. Here are the best two that I took:

Hamlet Photocall

2011-05-11T00:00:00.000-05:00

Hey everyone, I know it has been forever since I have blogged. I am slowly catching up on everything that I have had on my list since this show started. It was called Hamlet (perhaps you have heard of it). Here are some of my favorites from that show:

Hamlet, Claudius and Gertrude Pose for a photo (so meta)!

Laertes mourns the loss of his sister.

Claudius attempts to take the chalice of poisoned wine from Gertrude.

Hamlet notices Laertes' deception.

Laertes trys to understand Ophelia's madness.

Hamlet drags a dead Polonius.

Play within a play.

Live video. So meta.

The players.

Polonius family portrait.

To be or not to be, that is the question.

The Gustavus Theatre and Dance department's Dance Composition course migrated outside of Kresge Dance studio and performed in the Hillstrom Museum of Art. Here are a few photos I took:
