AOL seems to be one of the best internet services, and with this tracking system you are able to save hundreds of dollars in comparison with the GPS fleet tracking system. Moreover, you are able to install the system in your vehicle at an ease. The GPS fleet tracking system can be classified into two parts such as basic GPS tracking unit and advanced GPS tracking system. Basic GPS fleet tracking system helps you know the route, speed, location, and stops for the vehicle. In case you are running a small company then this seems to be the ideal system for you, as it has been created for small companies.

Without spending for the monthly fees, you are able to get the record of time, mileage, and travel history. Advanced GPS fleet tracking is used by big companies and governmental firms that allow them know the actual time and updates for each minute, and that too for each vehicle. Again, there is no requirement of paying any monthly fee. The most interesting thing is that the GPS fleet tracking systems are used by both the army and the general people.

The system is not limited to the roads. They can be also used by the navy or aircraft organizations. Being so useful and powerful, the tracking systems can be used by the naval forces to control the warships. It is very much important for the navy to locate the warships that helps them fulfill the mission easily. The GPS fleet tracking system provides detailed information and thus, victory and safety both are guaranteed for the army. Today, businessmen or companies are making much profit by using the GPS fleet tracking technology and along with that it helps them to build a good will.

John Mahoney is a freelance author who writes about various technology related subjects including Fleet tracking . It is also well known that most people fail to ever make any money in work at home business. The question is why do so many fail and what can be done to secure success. Actually, the answer to this question is very easy. If you desire to ensure your home business success then you must refuse to give up.

Many of the most successful entrepreneurs who have made big money in their own home business will tell you that they failed many times before finally making it. The difference is they simply refused to give up. They kept trying and refining their marketing and advertising strategies until they efforts paid off and their business took off.

It is not easy to succeed in work at home based business. If it were they would be no value in it. That is why those who succeed big time in home business are those who have simply refused to accept defeat. Even if they failed once or twice or even many times they learned from each failure and tried again. They tried again and again until they found the success they were searching for.

The following are some simple tips to help you stay motivated and on target even when failure seems to follow you around.

1) Write down why you want to succeed in your home business. Maybe you want to be able have more time with your family or maybe youwant to be able to retire early and travel the world. As you go along in your journey read over this vision again and again to remember what it is you seek.

2) Keep a journal of what has worked for you and has not worked. Refer often to this journal often so that you don't make the same mistakes again.

3) Dream Big! Even if your plan is only to make $100,000 per year in your home business decide that you are going to go after an income of $500,000 per year and your chances of making $100,000 are even better. Think big and you will achieve more than you ever thought you could.

4) Make the conscious decision that you will never give up no matter what happens. This is the type of commitment
that makes dreams possible.

You don't have to accept defeat and give up your dream of owning a successful home based business. Even if you have failed 100 times you can learn something from each attempt and that increases your probability of success the next time. It is about considering that your glass is half full as opposed to half empty. Consider it this way. Each time you try and fail you have learned what doesn't work and that means you are one step closer to your goalthan you were before.

Find legitimate home business ideas and opportunities to make money that really work by visiting here now: http://www.WorkAtHomeGreat.com

Don't forget to download Indocquent's free social bookmark utility at http://www.indocquent.com/social_bookmark/social_bookmark_landingpage.html.

Vessel broadcasting

Subscribe in a Reader

DON'T FORGET TO COMMENT ON THIS ARTICLE

by Tymon Hytem-5496

In troposphere under normal conditions the air pressure water vapor pressure and temperature reduces with the increase of height above earth. As a result of this the refractive index also reduces with the increase of height. In standard atmosphere the modified refractive index M increases linearly with the increase of height. Under abnormal meteorological conditions particularly under water, variation of dielectric constant of the troposphere with height departs considerably from the standard condition. Thus under certain special conditions the dielectric constant may not decrease at all with height or may even increase with height resulting in the radio wave following the straight line path or curving away from the earth respectively. This results in re-vessel ion of the distance to the horizon. Under another type of abnormal conditions the variation of refractive index with height may be much higher than the normal in the region close to the earth. Such abnormal conditions may result when dry air flows from land out over cooler water.

Evaporation of moisture from water into the lower layers of air cools the air. Thus the lower layer is cool and rich in moisture while the upper layer is warm and contains less moisture. Thus as the height increases there results increased moisture lapse rate and a temperature inversion that is a rapid increase in temperature instead of re-vessel ion. Thus there results rapid decrease in dielectric constant as the wave travels upwards. Typical result of such an abnormal condition is it because the path of the rays traveling close to the surface of the earth to be bent as much or even more than the curvature of the earth while the rays at greater height are bent less. When the frequency is sufficiently high the region where the variation of refractive index is usually great actually traps energy and causes it to travel along the earth's surface much as though in a waveguide. This special refraction the electromagnetic wave is called super refraction and the propagation utilizing this super refraction is called vessel propagation. The vessel propagation may increase the range of space wave communication two or three times the normal line of sight range. Vessel propagation becomes possible only at frequencies above one thousand mega hertz. The vessel is the region between the upper minimum of the M curve and either the ground or the point where the vertical projection from the upper minimum intersects the M curve. When the curve has a negative slope the curvature of the ray is concave downward on a plane earth diagram and the true curvature of the rays is greater than the curvature of the earth. Hence rays which enter the vessel with sufficiently small angles are bent until they become horizontal and then are turned downwards.

Tymon Hytem has worked in the electronics field for the past 15 years. You can find a smile break out on your face as you remember why this particular ringtone fills you in equal measure with both pleasure and excitement. But how do you go about getting your favorite ringtone? It depends on whether your wireless service carrier has an in-built means to download ringtones. In that case, you have to pay to do your download. Perhaps you are one of those who prefer that your ringtone is set as a universal ring. This method is cheap, but your favorite may not be among those in the ringtones available on your mobile. Your favorite ringtones may be on the net and are free to be downloaded. We tackle this issue at once. Here are a few steps to take to download free ringtones to your phone from the net.

STEP 1
The internet is home to numerous sites with different types of ringtones. There are sites for ringtones of rock music, rhythm and blues, reggae, salsa, calypso, etc.. It all depends on what your favorite ringtones are. No matter the situation, you need to make an initial contact with a computer with an access to the Internet.

STEP 2
After getting access to a computer hooked to the Internet, you will need to get to the search engine you are comfortable with. This may be Yahoo search, Google, or others. No matter which, browse for the sites for free ringtones. A lot of sites will be available to you.

STEP 3
Take a pause and study the sites closely. Do you need to register to a site that strikes you as containing the ringtones that you cherish, or you do not need to do this at all?. Also, you should find out whether the boxes that sign you up for contact through e-mails or other means are checked or not. Always choose those that are not checked.

Maria Lacy is a Ringtone fanatic that owns Ringtones blog. I bet your asking why Microchips an doggy gps will make your life less stressful. I'll explain. We've all had those times when the beloved family dog goes missing. When this happens you're probably panic as I do. Of course the pressure from your significant other and kids only compounds the problem. What if you lived in a world where you knew the exact location of your dog? Well, my friends, this is very much possible and can be had with a purchase of a GPS dog collar. There are a couple different technologies out there to keep track of your dog. Let's clarify some of your options.

You are probably asking, what the heck are Microchips units? Microchips are fairly low cost chips that are painlessly planted inside your pet by a veterinarian. The upsides of microchips are that they don't require any battery or power supply and most manufacturers guarantee it for the life of your pet. Microchip units operate through radio frequency identification. Each chip has the owner's information coded into it along with the dog's name. It can get a little confusing because there are quite a few companies offering this service and each of them provide different levels of information and services. I suggest talking over all your options with your local veterinarian.

Make sure that you are really wanting to have a microchip inserted into your dog because all, when the procedure is irreversible. These devices a very small so there is no way to tell if that the chip is under your dogs skin. There is also no need to worry that the dog will outlast the chip. Most Chips last twenty five years so this should not be an issue.

One of the problems that have plagued the microchip is that there never was any standard issued for companies to follow. Each microchip manufacture uses different frequencies and technologies so that the microchip can only be read by the manufacture of that particular microchip. Another thing to keep in mind that Identification tags are still a necessity and your pets backup line of defense in case your dog gets lost.

The latest advancement in pet tracking is the GPS dog collar. GPS collars can be used to track your pet should he or she ever get away. This tracking can be exact to about one meter or three feet. The term GPS means Global Positioning System. It is the same technology that is used in Car or other portable GPS units. It's crazy how small they have been able to make these GPS chips. Although you might have to pay a pretty penny it is possible to purchase GPS unit so small that it can be implanted under your dogs skin. The technology is improving and becoming more affordable day by day so it is defiantly a technology to consider when looking for a way to make your life less stressful. You can always know where your dog is!

More info on GPS dog collars? then visit our free website dedicated to high tech GPS pet collars.

Don't forget to download Indocquent's free social bookmark utility at http://www.indocquent.com/social_bookmark/social_bookmark_landingpage.html.

The basic concept of anti spam softwares and toolkits

Subscribe in a Reader

DON'T FORGET TO COMMENT ON THIS ARTICLE

by BloggerGoLeverage

In this article, you will discover the concept of an anti spam toolkit with the objective to provide a comprehensive policy orientation and consistent framework in the fight against spam. The was a conviction that this framework would also be applicable and useful. These composed the inter-related elements, addressing:

Regulatory approaches:

The development of anti spam legislation that tackles spams and related problems is fundamental. Legislation should set clear directions on what is allowed and what is not allowed.

Industry driven initiatives:

In order to appropriately deal with spam,, domestic anti-spam should be coupled with private sector initiatives.

Technical solutions:

Anti spam tools operate of many levels - at the point of origination of email, in the backbone network, at the gateway and on the recipient computer - and may be used alone in combination. Any attempt to combat spam effectively must involve the sensible application and administration of a number of these technological tools and methods. No method will be entirely successful in isolation. When a number of anti-spam technologies (software etc.) are effectively used in collaboration with one another, the can drastically reduce the lvel of spam affecting a system.

Education and awareness:

A comprehensive anti-spam strategy must ensure that the end user who is the final recipient of spam, the possible victim of viruses and scams and at the same time, the person who has control over the computer and personal information, is sufficiently educated and aware of how to deal with spam and other online threats. Ducat ion and awareness-raising activities are needed in large enterprises, small and medium-sized enterprises, for residential users and in education establishment. They must aim to create a culture of security, and encourage a responsible use of cyberspace.

Spam metric.

Measurement is key to evaluating the evaluation of spam and the effectiveness of anti-spam solutions and educational efforts. The metrics allow the evaluation of national strategies and the implementation and provide insights into what changes are needed in policy, regulatory and technical frameworks.

The Free Anti Spam Guide was developed in the framework on Anti Spam and include a package of recommended anti spam sources, anti spam software, anti spam free guides, anti spam reviews. http://anti-spam-software-guide.blogspot.com

Don't forget to download Indocquent's free social bookmark utility at http://www.indocquent.com/social_bookmark/social_bookmark_landingpage.html.

Review of the Quest 2 by Garmin

Subscribe in a Reader

DON'T FORGET TO COMMENT ON THIS ARTICLE

by Derrick Bogaster

There are a lot of products on the GPS market today. A few of the portable GPS devices, such as the Magellan RoadMate 800, assert they can be used in the car and on foot. However, although they may be small enough, their strange shapes make them far from being ideal walking buddies.

However, the Garmin Quest 2 is different. Looking a lot like a PDA means that it will be a great portable GPS no matter whether you are in the car or on foot. The Quest 2 now has maps included on the device, which is an upgrade from the Quest 1.

The Garmin Quest 2 is portable and has precise directions. It is a reliable GPS device with many flexible options. It is comfortable in your hand and is built solidly, making it hard to break.

Each Garmin Quest 2 comes with instructions and a USB cable. The USB port is found on the back with a rubber cover and there is also an external antenna attachment. While the Quest 2 is a portable GPS device, its doesn't have its own carry pouch. Also, you cannot use the USB port to charge the device.

One of the largest changes since the original Quest, is the loading of pre-stored maps on to the Quest 2. Thus, when you turn on your brand new Quest the maps are already there and you can simply cruise to your destination without having to download any maps from your PC.

The Find New feature of the Garmin Quest 2 mean that you can find points of interest along the way when traveling to your destination. Points of interest are things such as hotels, gas stations or food outlets. The Quest 2 learns the route that you take and can remember them for later. It can also calculate the fastest time or shortest distance to your chosen destination.

You also have the alternative of avoiding certain roads, such as highways or toll roads. If you turn out to veer off course or run into a construction zone or blocked road - don't fret. The Quest 2 will mechanically recalculate your route or accommodate detours. There's also a ingenious TracBack feature that acts like a Hansel and Gretel trail and keeps track of your travels whether on the street or off the road.

However, such a small GPS device can have some disadvantages. Voice guided instructions are only available along with the built in automobile mount. The screen is small, making it difficult with people with bad eye sight, and it is not a touch screen. But first, make sure you are secure and safe to do so without being prayed upon by the evils of the online world.
If you bought a "package" with a broadband company there is most likely a CD-ROM in the box your other pieces arrived in. You should check it to see if it includes a "firewall".

Installing firewall software stops people online and in your area accessing your files, removing and adding to them. There is usually a free trail period on these before you need to begin paying, but be aware that there are plenty of free virus protection programs available online, such as Avast!, which is just as good.

Once you set up your router and broadband, you will be able to access the settings via software on your PC. Do this right away so as not to allow people to access your computer files before you finalise your settings.

The first thing to do is to check if there is an option for the network to be public. This is often on "allow". Change this immediately, and then remove the default passwords and usernames and change them to something completely different.
Try to use a password that is at least 8 characters long, with numbers, letters AND symbols if your program allows it. You must remember that hackers enjoy a challenge, so you need to make the passwords as personal and private as you can - so no birth dates or street names!

When you are on your router set up menu, there should be an option for you to enter an IP code that you can enter onto all the machines you wish to be able to access the network. Change this from the default as soon as possible. It may be advisable to update this every couple of months, just so you can ensure nobody is going to come close to working out what it is.

There will be express instructions with your router on how to secure it, and you should try to implement as many of them as you can.

Unfortunately, every time the broadband and internet businesses bring out more ways to help keep customers safe and secure, the internet criminals are developing more ways to barge through the barriers. Hacking is becoming more popular than ever due to more people being online. Try to keep as hidden and protected as possible.

For broadband deals that are suitable to you, be sure you compare broadband online. Why not do a broadband speed test</a to see how your current provider compares?

Don't forget to download Indocquent's free social bookmark utility at http://www.indocquent.com/social_bookmark/social_bookmark_landingpage.html.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://mycommunicationstopics.blogspot.com/2008/06/broadband-securing-your-wireless.html' title='Broadband ? Davis

Satellite TV for your PC is a fairly new technology that is being used by tens of thousands of people worldwide. Don't let the name fool you. This isn't your parents Satellite TV.

What exactly is it? Well it's not a literal satellite dish that they cram into your PC. Some gifted entrepreneurs and technology gurus have put together a system that allows you to download software you can use to then pull down stations and shows from the internet onto your PC basically turning it into a Satellite TV.

There are basic computer requirements that your PC will have to meet. Most computers built in the last 6+ years meet this minimum requirements. They are 333Mhz CPU, video card, sound card, headphones or speakers and Windows 95, 98, NT, ME, 2000, XP or Vista.

This software lets you setup Satellite TV on your PC instantly. There are no charges or monthly fees that you need to pay to Watch TV or to pay the local cable or satellite TV provider.

You can now start watching TV on your PC and choosing from upwards of 3000 different stations in dozens of different languages. Its an amazing system that's been setup and it really does feel like they have turned your PC into a Satellite TV.

It's worth checking this software out. You can start watching your favorite shows even on the road or traveling somewhere that doesn't get your favorite TV station. You might even find some old TV shows that you can't find anywhere else.

To read more from Roger Davis on Satellite TV for PC all you have to do is check out his site on how to Watch TV Online!

With the help of fast internet connection, one can easily enjoy making local, national and international calls at discounted rates. For that entire credit goes to the packet switching technique, wherein calls can be transmitted over IP connection. The internet telephony services do not require wires for performing various operations, as it is done with the aid of internet. Moreover, unlike PSTN services, disruptions in IP telephony services that are associated in transmitting voice signals is comparatively quite less. In fact, the voice transmission charges are also low, more so when compared to any other system of communication.

As a matter of fact, the infrastructural set-up cost of VoIP services is less. For availing these services one requires high speed internet connection, analog telephone adapter or ATA and services from the potential providers. Considering various features and benefits, more and more business entities and casual users are stepping into this domain. The people who have opted for these services have lowered down their monthly telephone bills by more than half as compared to the costs of PSTN services.

With the passage of time, services and opportunities in this domain are on the rise. It has given unique opportunities to VoIP providers, wholesalers and retailers to excel in this domain. The VoIP resellers or retailers are acquiring necessary equipment and services from the Tier 1 carriers or providers. Furthermore, they offer the some portion of services and products to the end users also, who are situated in different geographical locations.

The Virtual reseller program is a means of accessing VoIP services at affordable rates. The virtual resellers provide these services to the end-users after leasing them from the wholesalers or service providers. On other hand, in the premium reseller programs, the resellers are allowed to compete with each other, as they are based on some unique features.

The VoIP resellers are doing their best to cater the growing needs of end-users. Special VoIP reseller panels are designed for providers of hosted services so that they can offers their best. Some of them are based on the server software. With one such panel in place, the VoIP reseller services have become seamless and quite easy. The success of this well-known reseller program entirely relies on how effectively the plans and agenda are used or implemented. Access to internet connection allows the users to access VoIP services in different places of the world.

For more information, visit: VoIP reseller programs witnessed by one of the branded VoIP reseller.

Don't forget to download Indocquent's free social bookmark utility at http://www.indocquent.com/social_bookmark/social_bookmark_landingpage.html.

?Can I Use My Garmin Nuvi 350 For Geocaching??

Subscribe in a Reader

DON'T FORGET TO COMMENT ON THIS ARTICLE

by Tessa Green

Of course you can!

The Garmin Nuvi 350 is perfect for geocaching in soooooo many ways:

It is very accurate. The Garmin 350 will retain its satellite lock and continue showing you the way even if you go under trees, even if you have to stow it in your bag.

It is small ? fits nicely in the hand. It is lightweight. So it's very comfortable to carry with you as you zero in on your geocache.

The screen is a good size, the display is very clear. It is very easy to read.

The Garmin 350 displays easy-to-understand information with detailed 2D and 3D maps and up to 500 way points.

If you already have one, there's no learning curve ? you already know how to use it. If you don't have one, the learning curve is extremely shallow. This GPS is very easy to figure out.

The Garmin 350 is primarily designed as a driving gps ? to help you drive to where you're going. And it is stellar at doing that. So, if you need to drive for part of your route, the Garmin 350 has that covered. Once on foot, you switch to 'Pedestrian' mode and again, this 350 GPS does a fabulous job.

So for geocaching, the Garmin Nuvi 350 GPS is very capable. It does the finding very well indeed.

However, 3 things make it less than ideal for geocaching:

1 - It's not waterproof. You're very likely to get wet while out on your hunts. Unless of course you live and hunt in the dessert. Plastic bags and boxes can give some protection, but really you want the gps to be waterproof to be sure you don't kill it.

2 - Battery life. While driving with Garmin 350, there is no power problem because you plug it into the car lighter and use car juice. When you stop, however, you then have about 5 hours or so before you need to recharge. And of course you don't want your gps dying on you.

This wouldn't be a problem ? maybe just a minor inconvenience ? if you could simply take some spare batteries with you. But you can't. Not with the 350.

As you can see, this severely limits how far you can go from the car. The battery life could also take away some of the most attractive things about geocaching ? such as being able to explore new places further. Such as, having discovered somewhere amazing, being able to decide right there on the spot to stop and enjoy it. With the 350 you're on the clock.

3 - Robustness. I don't know how robust the Garmin350 is. The thing is, the more geocaching you do, the more the GPS will get knocked about. I don't know how it will fare. I just don't get the impression it will do well.

Conclusion

Your Garmin Nuvi 350 can find geocaches. No question about that.

I would not recommend you use it for geocaching in the long term. If you are starting out and want to do a couple of mostly urban, in-town geocache hunts to see if you like it, then do go ahead. Think about protecting the GPS, though.

For regular, more intrepid off-road geocaching, it's a much better economy to simply buy another GPS that is waterproof, robust, and either has long battery life or batteries that can be changed.

Here are some top quality, high value GPS that fulfil all these geocaching requirements => http://www.squidoo.com/BestGeocachingGPS And here are a few basic items you can use to protect your Garmin 350 when using it for geocaching => www.squidoo.com/GarminNuvi350Review

Don't forget to download Indocquent's free social bookmark utility at http://www.indocquent.com/social_bookmark/social_bookmark_landingpage.html.

Finding And Getting A Deal On A High Speed Internet Connection

Subscribe in a Reader

DON'T FORGET TO COMMENT ON THIS ARTICLE

by Craig Thornburrow

High speed internet services have come a long way in a short amount of time. In fact you can get this internet service almost anywhere in the country so even those that live outside of town or in more rural areas can now also enjoy the benefits of a high speed connection. The other great thing is that there are several places that you can purchase your high speed access so you can shop it around to get the best deal.

One place that you may want to consider especially if you live in a rural area is high speed via a satellite dish. There are a few companies that offer this type of service. What you do is purchase a small satellite dish and their receiver box. It works just the same way that satellite television works. You can find free installation and many rebates on the satellite dish itself. The only down fall with this type of service is it runs best when the weather is clear. This is because thick clouds can block some of the satellite feed however this is a great alternative to dial up when you live outside the service area of other service providers.

Many phone companies are also offering a high speed internet connection through DSL. So if you can get phone service you can also get a high speed connection. This gives you a good option because many of the DSL providers also provide phone service and they give a discount if you combine both services. This savings can put extra cash back in your pocket.

Cable companies have also gotten in on the demand for internet high speed connections. Just as the phone companies have combined their services so have the cable companies. So you can bundle your services and save yourself some cash. However there are even bigger savings to be found in the internet service providers. As the bigger companies begin to work together to save their selves money you will find this works in your benefit and you can find a great deal on high speed service.

The larger companies are teaming up and sharing resources and it is the consumers that are really getting price breaks. For example in many areas in the country you can find service that combines your telephone service, your cell phone service, your cable or satellite, and your high speed access to the internet. When you get this type of combination you will surely save money versus purchasing each service individually. This is because the companies are sharing resources such as wiring, customer service, and even being able to send out one invoice saves these companies millions every year.

So when you are looking to have a high speed connection for your internet service, call some of your other service providers. Oftentimes you will find that if you bundle your services you will not only save money on your high speed internet but also on your other utilities such as cable or phone service.

Craig Thornburrow is an acknowledged expert in his field. GPS consists of 27 satellites positioned in a medium earth orbit. A satellite is considered to be in medium earth orbit when it is 35,000 kilometers above the Earth's surface, roughly 22,000 miles. The first experimental satellite was launched in 1972. It was not until 1995, 23 years after the launch of the first experimental satellite, that GPS bore fruit as a fully function satellite tracking system. Even then the system was restricted to military and airline industry use.

Once GPS was fully functional both the military and civilian implications were quickly recognized. In 1996, then President, Bill Clinton, opened the system to civilian uses as well as military uses. Due to limitations early civilian GPS was not very reliable and so its wide spread use had been severely limited. In 1998 and again in 2004 extra civilian signals were added to GPS. The net affect of the added civilian signals was that the quality and accuracy of the data were raised to a level that civilian GPS has now become a marketable product and service. Since 2004 GPS as a market technology has realized a boom in demand with no end in potential growth in site.

How GPS Technology Works

The 27 satellites that are collectively known as the Global Positioning System have flight patterns that make four satellites available to a GPS receiver at any time any where in the world. A GPS receiver must be able to contact and communicate with a minimum of 4 satellites to be able to calculate minimally qualified location data. The larger the number of satellites a GPS receiver can contact the better it will be able to calculate a location.

In order to triangulate a geographic position a GPS receiver calculates the time that it takes for the signal of the GPS satellite to reach the GPS receiver. From this data the GPS unit is able to calculate the distance to each satellite. The time distance information is then used by the mapping software on the GPS receiver unit to determine an exact location on earth.

Satellite signal degradation from both natural and man made obstructions can affect how accurate a GPS unit is. This is why GPS units will try to contact as many GPS satellites as possible. The more satellites the GPS unit is able to contact the more accurate the location.

Uses Of GPS

The purpose of GPS technology has not changed much over the last 30 years. Its primary purpose is still to as precisely as possible pinpoint a location anywhere on Earth. How GPS technology is used has not truly changed either. It is used for two primary functions tracking and navigation.

Growth in GPS technology has not come because of changes in use but because of an increase in signal quality, decrease in component costs of a GPS unit, increase in the quality and sophistication of mapping software, the bundling of GPS units with other services, and more sophisticated marketing to a broader segment of the population.

Today GPS units large and small can be found in airplanes, cars, attached to motorcycles, in cell phones, PDAs and hidden in freight to protect from theft. The shrinking of GPS unit component sizes has enabled the use of GPS to be limited only by your imagination.

For more information on GPS systems visit the GPS Gadget Store at http://www.gpsgadgetstore.info. I remember when I was a noob, I had such a hard time getting a blog up and running or a site for that matter. I would create a blog about a certain subject and THEN I would try to figure out the keywords after.

I got a little better as time went on and I learned what meta tags were. So, I started putting keywords in my meta tags thinking that the search engines will see it for sure and I should rank for some of my keywords. Well it didn't take long to figure out that that wasn't working. At this point I started to wonder what exactly do you have to do to rank for your keywords and are they even good keywords.

After much reading and suffering information overload I finally realized how important it was to do your keyword research first before you create a new blog. I had finally learned that less competitive keywords were easier to rank for... a lot easier. I wrote a post one day and about a week later, just for the hell of it I copied my post title and pasted it in to the google search bar. Click. Well what do you know? My page was in the number one spot. So this was real proof to me that you can rank for less competitive and long tail keywords.

For those that don't know a long tail keyword is actually more like a keyphrase of 3 or more words. The longer the phrase the easier it is to rank number one for the term.

Anyhow, I came to realize that keywords searched less than 300 times a day were relatively easy to start ranking for. The problem was that I would rank well for a keyword at first, when I first published my post but soon my ranking would drop off. That's when I learned how important links were. I read that if you get links featuring your keyword (anchor text) then it should help you rank for that keyword. But how many links do I need? I had no idea. A thousand maybe? No idea. So this is what I did.

I found a page with a page rank of 4 and left a comment on it with an anchored link back to my post page. I immediatley went to google and typed in my keyword...nothing. OK, I will wait a while I figured. So I went and got another 10 or so anchored links.

I noticed that my links wouldn't show up right away when I checked for them in yahoo explorer. But once they did start showing I noticed I would move up in the results bit by bit. It took me months but I finally started ranking on page one for my keyword. Too bad it wasn't a buying keyword! No wonder I had traffic but no conversions!

At this point I stopped getting links for my main keyword. I realized it wasn't a buying keyword. It wasn't the kind of search phrase that a BUYER would use. It was more of a browsers search term. I decided to pick up Keyword Elite so that I could have a professional level keyword tool. This sure helped me out a lot. Keyword Elite will generate tons of keywords with the search data and just a whole lot of information. Now I could see buying terms right in front of me...I didn't have to guess anymore.

Now my keywords were including words like "cheap" and "discount" and "used", things like that. I started over with the links and started promoting my buying keywords. In the meantime I remembered how when I first started out, my posts would rank well for a few days before dropping off. Could it be that google likes fresh content? I think so. I had a great idea!

I started posting fresh content every other day or maybe every 3 days. At the same time I was getting my "buying" anchored links. I started getting new traffic related to my new keywords. As a bonus, when I check my stats in Google analytics I saw that there were a few surprize key phrases that people were using to find my site. Right away I went and wrote some posts featuring these newly discovered little gems.

Next thing you know I start getting traffic from those phrases. Just a little bit of traffic but it was something. I now added those new keywords to my old posts. I just edited the posts and weaved the keywords in. I then expanded my link campaign to include these new keywords.

It dawned on me that I had written a lot of posts early in my blogs life. These posts had nothing to do with my current keywords, in fact these old posts featured the worthless no money keywords. I deleted the posts thus streamlining my blog considerably. This had a positive effect on my rankings. I guess google now had a clearer picture of exactly what my blog was about. I even went and changed the blogs title to fit my new "buyers" keywords. Wow! I actually started to make money!

I have basically been duplicating this ever since and what can I say...I make money doing it. Nowadays though I do my keyword research first including checking my competitors links with SEO Elite. This way I know exactly how many links I need from the start and whether or not it is something I want to go after. I like easy targets but easy targets don't usually have lots of searches hence less money is to be made. This is why I started building lots of mini sites around niches. Low maintenance sites in quantity! It's impossible to promote a number of sites effectively without software.

I use Bookmarking Demon to get hundreds of links from bookmarking sites. I use an article submitter that autosubmits my articles to about 250 directories, which is totally incredible. I use a Directory Submitter with over 2000 directories in it. And I use Comment Demon to find high Pr blogs to comment on.

One Way Link Building SoftwareBookmarking Demon Review

Here is the list of recommendations which includes best GPS devices from Garmin, TomTom, Navigon, and Mio.

The Garmin Forerunner 205 is a GPS device that you wear like a wristwatch. It tells you how far you ran and how long it took. Serious runners rave about this GPS device. The older Garmin Forerunner 201 which reviewers don't like as much as the 205 can be purchased for around $120 or you can buy the higher end Garmin Forerunner 305 that adds a heart rate monitor for around $220.

The Garmin eTrex family that includes very small, portable, and waterproof handheld GPS devices make great companions for outdoor activities. They come with WAAS accuracy enhancement technology and run for many hours on AA batteries. The Garmin eTrex Legend CX sells for under $200 and offers 36 hour battery life and a color display.

The TomTom One LE was a doorbuster at Best Buy for $119. It has a 3.5 inch display, Bluetooth, an SD card expansion slot, and comes with a windshield mount which are illegal in California and Minnesota.

The Navigon 2100 has an MSRP of $249 but they were gobbled up on Black Friday at Staples for $99. Staples had the Navigon 2100T the T is for traffic and was included in the price. The Navigon 2100 is part of a Navigon GPS family that just started selling in the U.S that includes The Navigon 2100, Navigon 5100, and Navigon 7100. The 2100 and 5100 have a 3.5 inch screen while the 7100 is a widescreen device. Traffic is included free in the 5100 and 7100. The 2100 gets good marks for industrial design and flash-like graphics but there are concerns about icon and font readability and data entry.

The Mio c230, featuring text to voice was on sale at Radio Shack for $149. You can get this basic 3.5 inch screen GPS that offers Text-to-Speech functionality and gets high marks for performance and ease of use for well under $200.

Best GPS Devices

Don't forget to download Indocquent's free social bookmark utility at http://www.indocquent.com/social_bookmark/social_bookmark_landingpage.html.

Do you look for Wi-Fi access whilst on holiday?

Subscribe in a Reader

DON'T FORGET TO COMMENT ON THIS ARTICLE

by Rory Haliday

Wireless Internet access is an ever growing phenomenon and more and more locations have hot spots available for use.

As an internet enthusiast I am always taking my laptop with me wherever I go, be it to the local pub for lunch or down to a coffee shop whilst out shopping, one thing I find annoying is if the place I am visiting doesn't have access to the internet using wi-fi technology.

Have you ever been on holiday and have taken your laptop with you to find out that there is no wireless internet connection available?

One major annoyance to me is when I go on holiday. Time and time again when I visit uk holiday parks I cannot get a connection to the internet, I like to logon to check my emails every other day and maybe browse for local interests in the area I am staying in, instead of fiddly attraction guide leaflets I prefer to research online.

I recently started to plan our UK holiday with the family to Berwick-upon-Tweed near to Northumberland for a weeks break in the summer; imperative to my selection was wi-fi access.

I came across a holiday park called Haggerston Castle and this setting is perfect as the park has its own wi-fi access in the sports bar. This facility is available for a moderate charge but perfect for my day to day checking, meaning I can check my email when I want to rather than trying to find an internet café to do so.

After researching this holiday park I thought I would check for other UK holiday destinations for future trips and the caravan park company I am looking at has 6 other parks with the access points.

The park's wireless access point is very secure using one of Europe's leading wi-fi networks of public access security.

So I can now relax with peace of mind that I won't be missing those important emails again.

To plan your UK holiday and check for wi-fi access parks, I would definitely recommend Haggerston Castle in Northumberland.

Don't forget to download Indocquent's free social bookmark utility at http://www.indocquent.com/social_bookmark/social_bookmark_landingpage.html.

Business VoIP: For better and Affordable Communication

Subscribe in a Reader

DON'T FORGET TO COMMENT ON THIS ARTICLE

by Kristen Kiya

There are many advantages of utilizing business VoIP enabled solutions in small, medium or large scale businesses. As a matter of fact, many entities are now making the most of their fully featured IP solutions to manage their communication needs. This cost effective solutions help business houses to handle the rising communication costs, while experiencing the superior quality of services over specially dedicated networks. With all the inherent benefits, there has been an increase in the demand of these sophisticated phone systems. The voice over IP in conjunction with an IP PBX system provides enterprise-class phone capabilities that are being used by global organizations to easily connect to satellite offices.

As a matter of fact, the calls over a business VoIP bypasses the customary switch telephone network as voice calls are transmitted over the IP network. In addition, such networks can be used for sending e-mails, data, as well as images. The application of the Internet for generating telephone lines means reduction of charges that would otherwise have been applicable in the traditional PSTN telephone services. And the best part is the availability of customized solutions depending on the type and size of the businesses. The business plans would vary, depending upon the size of the businesses.

There are two types of VoIP business plans namely- call termination as well as IP Centrex. In the former plan, any business entity can save up to 50 percent on the calls as compared to traditional telephone systems. As a matter of fact, this service uses the public Internet or a privately managed IP network to manage the business telephone calls of the facilitating organizations. This results in cost savings that are huge by any standards. On other hand, the IP Centrex service or hosted Centrex services work over a virtual PBX network. It is imperative for the business entities to determine the type of business VoIP service that suits them the best before concentrating on any one.

The components for business VoIP are the same to those for any other voice over IP applications, except for the ownership of network infrastructure. The business entities have a hold over the IP PBX, routers for network management as well as voice facilities managed services; the need for additional infrastructure from the providers can be done away with. But, before opting for the services of the providers, the business users must concentrate on the following:

1.Voice quality: The business users must opt for the provider that has multiple POPs (point of presence) and soft switches, as it results in minimum latency and provides faster connections.
2.Pricing: The business houses must understand the costs of these services before going in for the same.
3.Network Integration: The businesses must opt for the providers that can easily integrate the high-end solutios with the existing services. This would minimally affect the network operations during the process of migration.
4.Feature Richness: The business VoIP services, should ideally come with a wide variety of value-added features such as call waiting, call forwarding, 3-way calling and speed dialing.

Ultimately, the business entities must make the most of the VoIP business opportunities that are currently available and they can base their decisions on the above mentioned criteria.

For more information, visit: Business VoIP service in addition to various VoIP Services.

Article Source: Business VoIP: For better and Affordable Communication

Don't forget to download Indocquent's free social bookmark utility at http://www.indocquent.com/social_bookmark/social_bookmark_landingpage.html.

Understanding the software of Dish Network Satellite TV

Subscribe in a Reader

DON'T FORGET TO COMMENT ON THIS ARTICLE

by Vikas SEO

One of the largest satellite TV services in the United States, available in more than 50 states, hosting 9 powerful satellites with a subscriber base of over 12.5 million and expanding? VoIP is the next generation in IP communication that is happening today. In the year 2006, the US market for VoIP advanced dramatically adding close to four million households making the revenues grow quickly in the high- tech market. This serge of growth in the retail market escalated very rapidly and the ability for VoIP providers, carriers and resellers to get high quality routes to international destinations at low prices has created a VoIP commodities trade market.

Voice over internet protocol is what VoIP is all about which brought forth the serge of new companies like Vonage, Cisco, Skype, Call Manager and a host of others who are utilizing the VoIP technology. This new technology is a process of using the capabilities of the IP with the phone in order send voice. The developers created an industry around VoIP technology in the desktop applications, telephone services, and corporate phone systems. VoIP a core technology that drives everything from voice-chat software loaded on the desktop PC to Mac full-blown IP-based telecommunications networks in large corporations. VoIP is a major invention for the corporate world and for the home; it is an excellent way to save on the phone bill.

VoIP is not actually that new the concept has been around since the 1990's but phone companies were afraid that VoIP would destroy the long distance revenue generated. Since its conception, VoIP has become one of the mainstays of IP usage for both large corporations, small companies and the householder. The retail sales for VoIP have escalated so greatly that now the wholesale volume has increased immensely. This is the time for any brokers or agents to get in on the growth of wholesale VoIP. The VoIP market is positioned for sustained robust growth. Statistics predict residential VoIP will continue to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 116 percent through 2009. The growth of VoIP is not just within the USA countries like Western Europe, Mediterranean, South Africa, and Africa is the fast growing mobile markets of the region.

The market soon will be flooded with VoIP-enabled cell phones that connect with your WiFi directly so that you will not have any interruption to your calls if you need to switch from one system to the other. This is just one of the new innovative products that seen its way on to the market. Just like all families of technology, the window of opportunity is open for only a short time. The first few users of VoIP faced with the technical difficulties that not all end users encounter when a new product hits the market so for a while, VoIP put on the market but suddenly everyone began talking about VoIP again. Engineers have worked long and hard working out the bugs and broadband providers have expanded and upgraded their networks.

Now that VoIP became mainstreamed, there are different ways that you can become a part of the program making a large profit. Agents find that they prefer to be connected with a company like Access Line marketing the product to their prospective clients. Wholesale VoIP resellers are finding a few good routes for VoIP termination and are buying, selling and trading routes from all over the world for large profits at VoIP marketplaces websites like eTermination.com. VoIP is here to stay and now is the time to start brokering the deals.

Lisa Kaye has been in Telecom for 14 years.
