My Coach Handbag Collection

2014-11-10T02:24:00.001-08:00

I started shopping for a Coach bag early in the year (2014) and found a cute bag at a thrift shop near home and later after purchasing it found out it was a fake Coach bag. I was very disappointed. I ended up with another fake Coach bag that I purchased on ebay and decided to learn what to look for and if I wasn't quite sure I'd ask for help with authentication at the purse forum. So these are the bags I've bought so far this year and they are all authentic Coach handbags.

Coach Hampton Black Leather Hobo Clip Shoulder Bag Handbag 8A67

2014-11-05T22:14:00.001-08:00

Found this poor dull dried out begging for conditioner leather Coach bag on ebay a few days ago. The pictures were not great and didn't even show the inside or the creed patch. I did some research and didn't see anything wrong with this bag at all other than it just needed to be loved and conditioned. Only 2 photos were posted and it was up for auction starting bid at $18.00. Put this bag on my watch list and waited until the last few minutes and put in my bid for $18.00 and won the auction. When my husband opened up my box that came today he even said eww it's ugly. Yup it was dull and dried out. I conditioned this bag with a few good coats of conditioner and watched the leather come to life again. It started to shine and get soft. It's in mint condition and might have been used only a few times if at all. Sometimes it's worth taking a chance. This bag new retailed for $328.00. Some handbags smell like perfume or soaps. This bag smells like real leather.
COACH Hampton's Large Hobo Handbag Style:8A67 Retail $328.

COACH Hampton Signature Stripe Hobo Handbag Khaki/Red 11067

2014-10-23T02:51:00.001-07:00

I fell in love with this Coach Signature Stripe Hobo Handbag and was very surprised there were no bids on this handbag on ebay. It might have been because the handbag was listed as a Couch Handbag, oops. I did a search for Couch instead of Coach just to see if anything would come up in my search and this one with a few others popped up. I put it on my watch list and watched for 4 days and still no one bid on this handbag. I picked it up for $45.00 including shipping. New retails for $289.99. It's in mint condition and I can't wait to use this handbag. Decided to get myself an early Christmas gift.

Coach Leather Hamilton Hobo Shoulder Bag F10280 #2

2014-10-04T18:09:00.001-07:00

I got lucky and found another Coach Leather Hamilton Hobo Shoulder Bag F10280 on ebay. This one was up for auction and I was the only one that bid on this purse. I waited until the last 5 minutes after asking seller a few questions since her only 2 photos didn't show all the details. My questions were answered and I placed my bid for $20.00. This bag retailed for $289.00 new. This bag is slightly used but in pristine condition. I conditioned the leather really good but it looked like it was pretty well cared for already. The leather is in a little better condition than the first one I got a few weeks ago, same color and style. I found really cute key chains at Old Navy and they look really cute on the bags.

Here are a few pictures of them both together. The one with the "L" key chain is the one I got a few weeks ago.

COACH Slim Soho Duffle Shoulder black Leather Bag 1453

2014-07-22T16:38:00.000-07:00

Which Coach Bag is authentic? Left or Right? if you guessed the one on the left is an authentic Coach bag you are right. The cloth dust bag is even genuine. Coach is always in the lower corner on the dust bag.

2014-07-18T15:42:00.001-07:00

My newest Coach bag (7/18/14). This one is unused in new condition with no odors and has the original cloth bag with paper work.

Update:
*I asked the Coach authentication experts at purseforum.com and found out this is a fake Coach bag*. I got fooled a 2nd time and wasn't eye to details I should have spotted. The words on the creed patch inside had no spaces between a few words which is clue to fake there and the outside C's do not line up right on the back side. C's are usually very centered and even on each side to the seams. Next Coach bag purchase will get cleared by the authenticators at purseforum before I buy again. :(

My newest addiction is collecting purses. I went with the cheap $5.00 craft store purses for many many years and decided I needed a nicer quality purse. I collect Vera Bradley and vintage Coach purses.
Here is my newest Vintage Coach Legacy purse, it was made in 2002 in Costa Rica. I had this Coach authenticated so it's a real Coach purse. I bought it on ebay for $46.00. Bidding went a little higher than I wanted to go but I'm so glad I outbid others that wanted this beauty. This Coach purse was very well cared for and hardly shows any wear at all.

Living Social had a really good deal recently. For only $10.00 you could get a $25.00 voucher for Natural Grocers. You can use coupons there too. I did this trip and ended up in the minus total so the cashier told me I could just grab something else to get me out of the minus so they could take the last 2 $1/1 Alexia coupons I had. My total was $0.06 but I decided to grab another bag of gummy worms that were at the register so I got my total up to $1.49. I got 2 8 oz. Organic Valley cheese for free with the mailer coupons. My son went through the register before me and got a free cheese and I have his cheese in my photo. One bag of gummy worms is missing from photo. Son grabbed it before I got the picture taken.

These are a few of my Vera Bradley purses. I've given a few as gifts to family and friends so they are not pictured here.
