~ Must make an altered item using your Cricut cuts!

For my project today, I decided to decorated this frame for my son's teacher! I have to say that this teacher is one VERY SPECIAL lady! She has taught both of my boys now & we ALL just ADORED her! Lastnight, Anthony wanted to buy her some flowers & a balloon for their last day of school today! Let me tell you, we will MISS this teacher TREMENDOUSLY!

Here are the supplies used:

Frame ~ Big Lots

Tape Ribbon, Burlap ~ Liz's Boutique

Sentiment ~ "So Grateful For You" stamp set

Cartridges used ~ "Don Juan" & "Plantin Schoolbook"

Now here is a QUICK "Gift Card Holder" I made for my other son's teacher! Since he is a "man" teacher, I was very limited on how I embellished this! lol...

Like I said earlier in this post, This is the same teacher who taught my other son in 5th grade too! I just wanted to share w/you the frame I made for her 2 years ago! (We love her!) Now, Mrs. Elias will always have both of my boys w/her!;)

Hello Beautiful Crafty People!

Welcome to another Friday Tip of the day and my monthly Guest Design Spot.

Did you see all the new yummy stamps and Dies Miss Emma has just released? Of course you

did! That girl is on a roll with these and whipping them out as quick as we all can grab them up!

Love Love Loving them all!

A Stylish but Quick Luggage Tag..

Easy Peasy lets go on vacation pleasy!!

The New Tag dies & all around everything accessories!

Ok I have to admit i had problems with my luggage tag. I did laminate it on my brother cool touch laminator. Sometimes i have visions in my head hot it will work but it doesn't! SO here it in and again pics at night cause of working so hope not to bad. Picture doesn't do it justice. I tried to edit it about 50 times but the internet was running so poorly it wasn't loading. so no editing. So I i will show you the back side that the color doesn't look a thing like it should but editing software is not cooperating. The back has all your info on it. This darn picture looks all green and these are shades of aqua blue. Really mad....I got to quit photographying at night! Cause there are some funky things that got done with this one. Well hope you just get inspiration to make one. I promise i will get the good camera and learn to use it. I got my room all set up now for video and pics.

A Birthday Gift Tags

I used "Celebrate Good Times" set and of course the Tag Dies

I used Elmos party cricut cart to cut Elmos and then added the ice cream die cut.

Elmo was cut at 2" The paper is from My Minds Eye. The actual tag paper was

printed on my imagine from the cart "Imagine More"

Next I used the set "Celebrate Good Times" and this set comes with this adorable cupcake die. I used

Paper from the My Minds Eye "Lime Twist" for the cupcake die and then wrapped pink twine

that is also from My Minds Eye line.

I used real chunky glitter on the ice cream cone layer, also used

the Bonash Foils for the flame

These are great sets and wonderful if you need to whip out a cute tag or card without

breaking out the die cutting machines. Sometimes you just don't have time!

One more project

This was a quick card. I printed the pattern paper of my imagine more cart. Use kraft card stock for base. Used the circle and scallop die and the new set All around everything. And I used an older set called "encouraging words"

TIP #1

MAKE YOUR OWN TEAR OFF NOTEPAD

How to make your own tear off pad!!! I was reading alot online of how to make

a tearoff pad since you probably remember that was part of the blog planner book I

did last Tip of the day. Every article I came across showed using "Notebook Compound" well

it is not accessible from any stores you have to order online...heck no I don't like to

wait when I got something to do! So I went to Hobby Lobby and purchased "Rubber Cement"

Next you gather up all the pages you want on your pad and then take a sheet of chipboard to put as a

back. Next I used those little metal clips to hold it in place. Now here is an extra tip....

get yourself some cheap small paint brushes cause this rubber cement comes with a brush

attached to the lid and its a MONGO brush and it gets too sloppy for me and hard to

keep where you want it. So if you use a smaller brush you can control the application much better. I also did several coats.

Place really heavy object on top of it while you are doing it as well to help

keep pages nice and tight and secure. I also want to make a note that you should

Put a manilla folder or something scrap on the bottom to catch all the excess and then

before it has time to dry just move it slightly on the paper to keep that from

adhering to your tablet. I will be doing a video this weekend so stayed turned for that and show

the new blog planner book I made for Jessica. She is not allowed to watch cause she doesn't

have it in her hot little hand yet.

TIP #2

(more like a SHOUT OUT to Ikea for yet another fab product)

My favorite thing is staying organized... (Yes if your OCD and your know it clap your hands)

... so another Tip for today is products you can utilize to do that and stay stylish!

We all want our scrap rooms to look swank don't we! I love the retro style and colors like the aqua

(hey not everything can be pink! which is my fav!)

I am so getting this the next time my daughter in law is coming to visit I will have her first slide by Ikea and pick this up for me. I used to live close to one but now (insert tears...booo hoooo I don't) probably a

good thing for my wallet since I want everything. My hubby is always a sport though he would take me

there and shop for hours with me. He even picked up that wire curtain rod thing I used to hang my

stamps on from another tip of the day when he went to visit his daughter last time in Atlanta.

So Ikea has this kitchen cart on wheels (clap your hands cause your happy and you know it)

so that you can wheel it around your happy room when you need it in different spots!! I love the style!

It is $49.95 I like that store because everything is so reasonable.

TIP #3

SAVING MONEY who doesn't want to do this!

When I plan to "visit" Hobby Lobby, Michaels or hey anywhere really

that I need to get something I go to www.dealspl.us and at the top you will see a "coupon"tab...just click it, type in Michaels or JCPenny or whatever store you are getting ready to shop (even online coupons too for those of you like me who don't like to actually shop physically in the store!) and a list of coupons will come up. I never leave the housewithout checking for them if I know I am going to stop at stores to pick something up.

Well i hope I gave you some good tips and you thought my projects were "ok"

Good morning my creative friends & welcome to another 3-D Wednesday! For those of you who are new to my blog..... on Wednesday's, myself along w/my design team make any kind of project BUT A card OR layout! Being that we had our release week last week & my design team has been non-stop, I gave them the week off to re-coop!;) If I decided to take the week off, it would never happen in a million years because I just have way too much to share w/all of you! hehehe! Plus, I would definitely go through crafting withdrawals! lol.... For today, I actually had all of these items sitting on my craft table all un-done! These pieces were odds & ends that I decided NOT to use on any of my projects last week! Sooooo, I put on my "creative thinking cap" & thought if I puzzle these pieces all together, they would be PERFECT on one of my my "Tag Dies"! I just LOVE my tags, that I want to make nothing but tags right now! hehehe! I am very proud on how they turned out!

MCT May Stamp Release: "Fun Pockets!"

Good morning my Creative friends! Welcome to day 3 of our FUN May Stamp release projects! Today we are showcasing one of my FAVORITE sets from this release "Fun Pockets"!

I just LOVE LOVE LOVE this set w/the POCKET Dies included! For my card today, I used a kit from "Authentique" & as soon as I saw these little kids.... I just KNEW I wanted to put them in my pockets! lol........I ran some Papertrey ink's felt through my cuttlebug using my new pocket dies...they came out PERFECT!;) I really recommend using the Papertrey Ink's felt because it's a better quality felt & look how PRETTY they look!;) You can EVEN see the stitching! The CUTE hemp is from Liz's Boutique, which has some FABULOUS embellishments! I stamped the sentiment on my own homemade banner!;)

This next card is a SUPER SIMPLE & QUICK card! Burlap & purple Hemp Twine is from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique!

MCT May Release: "Here's Lookin at You!"

GOOD MORNING & welcome to our 2nd day of EXCITING samples for you! Today we are all showcasing a set called "Here's Lookin at You!" This set can be mixed & matched up with the set we showed yesterday which was "What's Growing On?"! I kept my 2 cards VERY SIMPLE for you today! I just want to show you how pretty a "one" layer card can be as well! I just basically stamped the sentiment & added the Grad Hat die which is included in this set!

This next card, I ALSO kept it SUPER SIMPLE! Again, one layer cards can look just as stunning as a card w/many layers!;) Sometome "less is more"! hehehee!

Here is another way you can use this AMAZING FUN set! So many of us women are wearing hats like these, so I'd thought it would be fun to add my "Rolled Flower Die" to this & turn it into a "Lady" card!;)

3-D Wednesday~ "Birthday Themes" & little May sneak peek! ~Episode 356

GOOD MORNING my creative friends & welcome to another 3-D Wed, along w/another small sneaky peek for you today! Keep in mind, "I" am the ONLY one giving you sneaks on my blog this week! Starting on Monday, May 14th, you will see TONS of AWESOME samples from my design team using my 4 NEWEST addition stamp sets! AND, I do have one die by itself~!;)

For my tag today, I am using ONE of my favorite newest dies! I'd thought it would by pretty to make my pocket out of "real" jeans~! I just LOVE LOVE LOVEY how it turned out!!! Isn't the sentiment PERFECT?;)

This is my very first time using the "crinkle ribbon"! I crinkled it myself & as you can see, I need MORE PRACTICE! lol.....

Small sneak peek for my May Release!

For all 3 of my tags today, I am showcasing 2 different sneaky peeks in them!

I have had TONS of requests for "mustaches", which I wasn't too sure what to do??? Then I just had FUN w/it & I am SO EXCITED w/how they turned out!

I used tullie on this tag instead of ribbon! Well, I DID use ribbon to tie the tullie together!;)

"That's What Friends Are For" Peachy Keen Alumni Blog Hop!

Today we are doing a sketch challenge using our imagines! Unfortunately, my imagine will NOT print for me at the moment:( It needs a band-aid:( So, I had to use different pattern papers from a 6x6 Authentique paper pad called "Loyal"! The sentiment is from "More Gift Card Sentiments". You can see how I put this together in my video below!

Friday Tip of the Day ~ Episode 352

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!! Welcome to another "late" Friday Tip of the Day! I actually had a little help from my "Mommy" today!;) She made this BEAUTIFUL Mother's day card & I asked here what color what the trim she used?! Then she told me that it was white & she dyed it using "Tea"! Yep, good ole "Lipton Tea" is what she used to color her trim she used on her PRETTY card today! (I think my mother needs a blog! just sayin!) ;)

This is what she used for her card:

~ Sentiment from "Mom You Rock"

~ "Fancy Frame stamp & Die set"

~ Flower Petal Die

~ Yellow sheer ribbon from Joanns

~ used Tim Holtz's "Antique Linen" distress ink to ink up all edges of her card!

She did a few before & after samples for me using lace! Depending on how dark you want your item to be will determine how long you keep it submerged into the tea! I am curious to see what color it would be if I were to use a berry tea??? hmmmmm.....

All she did was make the tea in a little pot, let it cool, then dip your lace/trim in it. The lace at the bottom was left in for 20 minutes & the white lace, she left in for 1/2 an hour!

I made this quick & easy card for my BFF I went to highschool with! After we graduated, she went off to college & became the BEST nurse ever! I thought this was perfect since Nurse's Day is on Sunday!

GOOD MORNING my creative friends & welcome to another "My Favorite stamp(s) of the month"! Today, my team & I are showcasing 2 another favorite sets of mine! I would've made "Fresh" cards w/these sets, but I am working w/one eye today:( I woke up w/a nasty eye infection so that's why I am showing you "Previous" cards I had made w/these AMAZING stamp sets!

This first one is "Just a Little Note", which I just LOVE!!! This is the PERFECT set to make a card & it would make anyone's day! My CUTIE little spaceman card has 2 sentiments from this set.... one on the outside & one on the inside!

I just HAD to show one more sample of this set! This card was made by Miss Nikki & it is one of my FAVORITE cards from her & I think she showcased this stamp set to PERFECTION! (Thank you Nikki Navy Wife) hehehe!;)

These next two cards were made using the set "My Favorite Sayings"! Basically, this set is EXACTLY what the title states.... they are ALL my FAVORITE sayings!

3-D Wednesday ~ " Mother's day" Episode 351

Good morning my creative friends & welcome to another 3-D Wednesday! Today my FABULOUS design team & myself are showcasing "Mother's Day" gifts for you! Since Mother's day will be here before we know it! I thought it would be a good idea to give you all some inspiration on what to make if you haven't thought of something already!

Before I tell you about my project today, my candleholders were NOT doing well at their photo shoot AT ALL:( But I PROMISE, they are ALOT PRETTIER in person!;)

What I did was take 2 pretty votive holders, added some tulle along w/my "Rolled Flower Die"! Can I just say that I LOVE LOVE LOVEY my dies??? I made 17 flowers in no time! There are approximately 9 flowers each votive. I used my hot glue gun to adhere them down. The picture ABOVE is how they look w/o the tealights in them & the pics below are what they look like WITH tealights!

Scrappy Monday Layout Challenge ~ Episode 349

GOOD MORNING my creative friends! I am SO EXCITED to introduce to you a new segment on my blog "Scrappy Mondays"! Yep, every other Monday, we will be doing nothing but "LAYOUTS"!!!;) I am very happy to do this so I can catch up on my scrapbooking! You can see below all the details about this challenge!

For my layout today, I was anxious to a page w/my boys' baseball team! I used a 12x12 paper pack from Teresa Collins "Sports Edion II"! The sentiments & image are from 2 different stamp sets of mine "Sports Sentiments" & "Grand Slam"! I am going to pick up a 12x12 shadowbox frame to display this in! I just LOVE how it turned out!:)

Friday Tip of the Day

Good morning peeps!

Debbie here with Bugjuiced.
Today I am back as Guest Designer for My Creative Time for me!! Emma has a WONDERFUL new release that I can't wait for you all to see! She has a some wonderful new round sentiments to go with her circle and scallop die which I COULDN'T WAIT TO GET!!!!

She also has some beautiful flower stamps and dies!

Now, for my first project. I really wanted to do something cute with a doggie since

I have two beautiful little furbabies that I love Dearly and I know Emma also has 3 little....well 2 little

and 1 soon to grow big furbabies!

So I purchased this file from Treasureboxdesigns.com....there is another really

cute little dog one at littlescrapsofheaven.com also

I took and broke everything apart and then copied and welded to of the house bases together

to make a card. WOW this was very time consuming I have to say because there

are alot of pieces and since there was alot of different colors I wanted to use it took alot of

planning and preparation! But I LOVE the way the little doggie turned out.

I used the sentiments from MCT set "This and That" because I thought

It was fitting to have this card show how thankful our little furbabies are to get

good homes! I just drew on the little paw on the doggies collar because its super little!

I made the little sign to say Max & Coco's pad since this is the name of my babies!

For this little card I made another little doggie and used Emma's new release "All around everything" just drew the paw with a marker and then used on the bone the "Teeny Tag Greetings" set. I love this set as well as these new all around sentiments!

My photo here is a bit blurry but hey I wanted to be a crafter....not a photographer! Hey that rhymed!

FRIDAY TIP OF THE DAY

NOW.....For the tip of the day.....We all love to occasionally use our glue guns but if your like me I get very annoyed by the "strings" that you get from the glue so here is a little tip. If you take Vaseline and rub it on the tip of your glue gun (of course before its hot! Hey sometimes you do have to have these disclaimers...like don't use your blow dryer in the bath tub kinda disclaimers!) Then when you go to use your glue gun you won't get the strings!

As a bonus cause I love that you all give me such love I am offering ANOTHER tip of the day. Yes this is quite like the cheesy informercials where you get one item for $19.99 but wait...act now and you will get TWO of these items for $19.99....but my tips are FREE!! WOW FREE tips you say......do tell

I have to share a way to stay very organized with your blog, your hops, your challenges and post etc. I have constructed a "Blog planner" and I am going to share how to make it with you! And I will be sharing the files with you to make your own. Now I can't claim this as my brilliant idea although I had somewhat a concept in mind but I did some searching and found a wonderful blog where Becky from Infarrantlycreative shared her creation of the blog planner and files. I am sharing the link to her blog and giving her credit for this because we always want to be courteous and give people Kudos for the things they do. It makes everyone feel good when what they spend time doing is shared with respect.

Here is my book! I have to admit I put it together quick. I was suppose to go to Office Depot to have it bound and make a tear off pad out of the calendar pages but I was so busy today at the office I didn't get that done. SOOOO I went home and made the cover and back and I have a pink bind it all (think I bought it cause its pink...cause I don't use it....it scares the beeeejezzes out of me!) And of course after punching the holes I made mistakes, I put it together and I realized when I watched her video she was left handed and so that is how I made mine....I am right handed...uugggghhh I will redo it at some point. I repurposed a card I had made using my peachy keen cronies set and I used Emma's set "This and That"
Monthly calendar & weekly blog planner to do page

again with my yellow pictures. Bought a lightbox but need lights! :(

There is a file folder under the monthly caledar so that the weekly sheets when done fold over and under a new calendar. I will do a video of how it works or show you hers on my blog but I have to get it uploaded.

I just know you all will love this because its so much easier to stay on track. I am a visual person and even though I LOVE MY COMPUTER like I love air I still need to write things down and "see" it. This will help with your planning as well. You can always take the pages and re-create if some things are not what you want to have on them. WHEW was this a long post huh! Throwback Thursday Challenge ~ Frame Challenge

For my card today, I did start off w/my gypsy, but I wasn't able to cut my "corkboard" paper out w/my E2! I used the "My Community" cricut cartridge & found this CUTE puzzle piece! So, I cut it out w/cardstock first, then I traced it onto my corkboard paper & cut it out by hand! Then I layered it w/red cardstock & used some chalkboard paper from Recollections! Sentiments are from "My Teacher Rocks" & "All Around Everything ACCESSORIES"!

MCT April Stamps Sneaky Peek #3 ~ Episode 345

GOOD MORNING & welcome to our 3rd & final day of sneaky peeks! WOW, you are in for a treat today! All I have to say is that this is one "Jaw dropping" post!;) I am in AWWWH of what everyone has done w/this sneak! Okay, today we are all showcasing 2 different items! The first is a sentiment set called

"Floral Sentiments" which are on a bigger scale & I thought they would be a PERFECT match up to my newest soon to be released die called "Rolled Flower Dies"! This is one die that has 2 different style flowers. You know I will always have my dies together now so we won't misplace them!;)

Today I made a tag using the new "Floral Sentiments" set along w/one of the beautiful flower dies! You can always pick up some leaves from your local craft store! I also used the little background stamp that was in the set we sneaked yesterday called "Bloom Where You are Planted" ! I just LOVE how my tag turned out!!!

This picture below is how you can cut some pretty flowers out using felt! This is how the white flower looked after I misted it using water to help fold down the petals! I used water because the cardstock was on the thick side! Just add some leaves from your local craft store. I show you in my video below EXACTLY how I made the pink & white flower!
