GOOD MORNING my creative friends & welcome to another "Thrifty Thursday"! This is the day that my design team & myself use our scraps to make a project! For today I just made a simple card using my new sequins that I got for my birthday! ;) I just LOVE they way they look on cards & don't be surprised if you start seeing them in every color! lol.... GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & welcome to another:

For today, I decided to do a little set of Thank You note cards using my "Stitched Journaling die"! I thought these would be a cute & different way to thank someone! Remember, you don't always have to have a card that opens...right? You can hand these to the recipients OR just put them into an A2 sized envelope! I think these would ALSO make a CUTE & QUICK gift for someone! Just make them a set of 4 w/matching envelopes & you will have the PERFECT present! :)

Scrapping The Little Things Monday

GOOD MORNING my sweet creative friends & welcome to another "Scrapping the little things"! I hope you ALL had a FABULOUS weekend! For me, I've been CRAZY BUSY just trying to prepare for my son's graduation this week. Yep, he will be graduating from the 8th grade :'( I still can't believe my baby Aaron is going to be in highschool! Wow....I remember dropping him off for his first day of preschool & PRAYING he would cry so I can just take him back home! lol.... Unfortunately, it was the other way around! Yep, I was the one crying & he was just as happy as can be waving bye bye to me. I already know I will be a mess on the day he graduates. I know you are all probably thinking "it's ONLY highschool", but it's a big deal to me because highschool is only 4 years & then he will be going to college :'( I just need to get a grasp on things & accept that my baby is growing up! In "my eyes", he will ALWAYS be my Baby Aaron no matter how old he is! ;)

Okay, sorry, I got a little side tracked! Onto my project, I know you are probably thinking, "Hey, I've seen this before".... & you are absolutely correct! Since I did not step foot in my craftroom at all this weekend, I decided to share one of my favorite 8x8 layout's of my sisters & myself! Good morning my creative friends & welcome to another "Thrifty Thursday"! Well, today I am continuing w/my teacher gifts! Today, I made Anthony's 3 teachers a card that fits a gift card on the inside! You can see in my video below exactly how I made this "step by step"! I could've used my Gift Card Holder Die but since I was only making 3 items today, I wanted to show you a cute way to use your burlap! I will definitely be using my Gift Card Holder Die tomorrow since I have to make a total of 9 of them! Yep, Baby Aaron has 6 teachers plus Anthony's 3! I like to give the teachers a little something each day for the entire "Teacher Appreciation Week!" Since Baby Aaron has 6 teachers, he decided to just give them all something on last day of the week, which works for me! hehehehe!;)

So, each of Anthony's teachers is getting a gift card to "Peet's Coffee"!

Scrapping the Little Things – Happy Nurse's Day!

Good morning my creative friends & welcome to another:

I hope you ALL had a GREAT weekend! If you are new to my blog, Monday's are the days that we either do a scrapbook page, smashbook page OR a project life page! Today I did another page in my smashbook!

Being that today is "Nurse's Day", we are basically doing stuff "health related"! So, I decided to do a page featuring my little "Scrappy". (Sorry about the blurry picture of him) Last month he jumped off the couch & landed on one of Princess's toys:( So he couldn't really put any weight on his leg right away so he actually let me put ice on his leg! It was the CUTEST thing ever, well not that he hurt himself, but the fact that he let me ice him that whole day! lol.... My furbabies are SO SPOILED that I know Scrappy was enjoying the EXTRA attention!;) Luckily he woke up the next day better, he still limped a little, but as the day went on, he was running around like his usual self!

If you watch my video below, I didn't show myself using the ticket die & the arrow die! I decided to add these at the last minute because I just knew my page was missing something!;)

GOOD MORNING my creative friends AND "HAPPY HAPPY FRIDAY"! It has been one of those weeks that just would NOT END! ;) I apologize for the "lack of" videos. My life has been CRAZY BUSY & every one in my family has had HORRIBLE allergies:( All of us have been feeling a little "under the weather" so I thought this was a perfect card to share w/you today!

We are all doing better, we all got to go to my boys honor banquet last night & it was bittersweet. Yep, this is Baby Aaron's last year there since he has been going to the honor banquet since 4th grade AND he will be graduating this year:'( For my Anthony, this was his first year going to the honor banquet so it was nice to have all of us there together including my parents. So it was definitely an EXTRA SPECIAL night.

Here are my beautiful boys w/there certificates & since Baby Aaron is promoting, he already has his special "Honor Roll" cord! He will get to wear it on graduation day too. I could not be any more proud of my 2 boys. They work SO VERY HARD at school & it certainly shows. It still makes my heart sad to see them grow so quickly right before my eyes......where has the time gone? :(

Well, I hope you ALL have a GREAT weekend! I will be back w/some videos next week for sure!;) **ALSO, since next Friday is my Birthday, I have an EXTRA SPECIAL day planned for you! YEP, Miss Veronica is working on a special blog button for us to start spreading the word! So stay tuned for ALL the details next week! Designer Challenge Thursday ~ CRITTER CARD CHALLENGE

Hi this is Glora and today I have your new Designer Challenge. My challenge is to make a set of 4, 3"x3" cards. If you are up to an extra challenge make the cards with a critter theme, but all that is REQUIRED for my challenge is a set of 4, 3" x 3" cards. For these cards I used My Creative Time's Small Talk stamp set. It is perfect for 3x3 cards and it has an awesome variety of sentiments too. The faces are by Peachy Keen Stamps and the Teddy Bear cut is from Miss Kate's Cuttables.

I had to make little envelopes for my set of cards too, so here they are with their envelopes (made using the 3x3 Fancy Envelope Die):

3-D Wednesday "FLOWERS"

GOOD MORNING my sweet creative friends & welcome to another:

If you are just joining me for the first time, everything Wednesday my design team & myself create 3-D projects for you! So basically, we all create anything but a card OR layout! With that said, today we were to all make a 3-D item that consisted with 3 flowers! I knew I needed a Mother's Day item, so I grabbed my "Gift Card Holder Die", cut it out w/white cardstock & just simply stamped my sentiment from "MORE Chocolate Greetings" & my roses from "Bloom where you are planted"! I stamped 2 roses directly onto the gift card, then I stamped another one onto a separate piece of cardstock, colored it, cut it out & popped it up using some pop dots. After I colored in all the floweres using my copic markers, then I added a few drops of "glossy accents" to my roses to almost have that affect of dew drops!

Last but certainly not least, I wrapped some hemp around the top part & tied a simple bow.

Here is how it looks on the inside w/the Gift Card inside! No adhesive needed that's why this is my FAVORITE die ever!

Scrapping the little things!

GOOD MORNING my creative friends & welcome to another:

I hope you ALL had a FABULOUS weekend! Well, my smashbook pages I did for you today ended up being something COMPLETELY different of what I had in mind :( Don't get me wrong, I do LOVE how they came out, but I was trying to do "Princess's" first Birthday, but I may have deleted them accidentally :( I am praying that I actually sent those pics to my hubby's phone. I really hope I did because she looked ADORBS in her birthday party hat that I had made for her. It's a good thing there was a plan "B"! I thought it would me cute to scrapbook Angel & Princess's mani & pedi time! YEP, my girls actually let me do their nails. If you can read the little journaling, Angel ONLY lets me do hers when she is sleeping & my Princess has to be completely EXHAUSTED for me to do hers! I can't believe they actually stay still & let me do it! It's the little things that make my heart full of JOY! :) For the pictures, I mounted them onto some burlap and my newest "Stitched Journal die"! So remember, this new die can be used for MORE than just journaling my sweet friends!;)

For my 2nd page, I just HAD to showcase all 3 of my furbabies because I couldn't leave my little "Scrappy" out! ;) I just LOVE them all to pieces & I am VERY blessed that all 3 of them are VERY good furbabies!

For both pages, I used several of my products (which are listed below)! I just wanted to touch base w/all of you on the frames I used. The frame I used for "Scrappy" is the frame die that comes w/ my "Just Simply Live" set. The other 2 frames for "Angel" & "Princess", those are my newest "Stitched Capture Frame Die". They look shorter because I wanted them to be 4 inches tall instead of 4 1/2! To trim these down & to still have your stitching at the bottom of your frame, after you run the die through your machine, position your die onto your frame exactly where you want it to be cut & make sure you run it through your machine so the bottom cuts ONLY! I will show you on Wednesday in a video exactly how I do it! If you cut them down to this size, they will also fit into your project life pages too! Good morning my sweet creative friends! welcome to another "Thrifty Thursday"! Basically, today is the day that we ALL used our "scraps" for our projects! I made a simple card using my newest set called "You're Brilliant"! For the ADORABLE face, I used the newest Peachy faces called "Moodies Face Asst"!

MCT April Sneaky Peek #3

GOOD MORNING my sweet creative friends! Are you all ready for day THREE of our "April Sneaky peeks"! Today my AWESOME design team & myself are showcasing 4 new items & they are: "Life is Good" stamp set, "It's all about You" stamp set along w/2 new dies: "Stitched Mini Frame w/arrow die" & the "Stitched CAPTURED frame w/arrow die"!

For my first card today, I used the "It's all about You" stamp set along w/the coordinating die "Stitched Mini frame & arrow die". I kept this card SUPER SIMPLE so you can get a good look at the products!;)

The arrow stamp is one stamp, but I just masked off every 2 arrows so I could stamp them in different pretty BRIGHT colors! This frame, arrow & stamps can be used sooo many different ways....the sky is the limit!

~ "Stitched Mini Frame w/Arrow Die" (will be available on Friday, April 19th at 8am PST)

For my next project, I used an 8x8 shadowbox & removed the glass to add my 8x8 layout! The new items I used on my 8x8 layout are the "Life is Good" stamp set & the "Stitched CAPTURE frame w/an Arrow" die. This was SUPER SIMPLE to put together....all I did was add the frame, stamped my sentiment, then last add 2 arrows! All of the other stuff on the layout is all on just one paper! OH & I also added the picture of my family!;) I REALLY LOVE how the larger frame turned out. I really wanted to be able to embellish the bottom of the frame & now I CAN!;) As you can see, I removed the glass from the frame because it was too hard to take a good pic of it & I like it TONS better w/no glass! :)

MCT April Sneak peek #2

GOOD MORNING my sweet creative friends! Are you ready for day two of our April sneaky peeks? Today, we are showcasing 4 new items! A new stamp set called "I'm Here For You Rain or Shine" along w/3 new dies! They are "Stitched Umbrella Die", "Stitched Boots Die" & "Stitched Daisy Die"!

For this first card, it is ALL stamping only! Yep, EVERY image & sentiment you see on this card is from the new stamp set "I'm Here for you Rain or Shine"! Isn't is SUPER DUPER CUTE? I used glossy accents on all of the raindrops, then I colored in the boots & umbrella w/my copic marker! I also added a hint of glossy accents to my umbrella & boots AND my FAVORITE part is the yellow stickles! Hey, with a sentiment like that, don't you think these "dancing rain boots" deserve to be sparkly? hehehehe! ;)

I just LOVE how this turned out!

MCT April Sneak Peek #1

GOOD MORNING my sweet creative friends & welcome to our first day of our "April Sneaky Peeks"! There is SOOO MUCH to see so let's get right to it!!! :)

Today my AWESOME design team & myself are showcasing a new set called "You're Brilliant".

This new set includes 20 stamps & a coordinating light bulb die! This is such a FUN set....I just LOVE it! For my first card, I used one of my existing dies, the "Stitched Postage Frame" which I think framed my lightbulb just PERFECTLY!;) All 3 sentiments are included in this new set, along w/that cute die!

For my next card, I wanted to keep it simple so you can see how AWESOME the stamps are! When I design my stamps, I TRY to come up w/different fonts that "somewhat" go w/my theme of stamps. I don't like to use the same font all the time, I like to switch it up!;) This sentiment, the cute small light bulb & the heart that is on the inside of the bulb are all from this new set! I used a black marker & drew the little dotted lines myself to almost make my little light bulb look like it's "shining". hehehe!

Today I have a simple card to share w/you. I made this for a friend who recently lost a family member & I wanted to make him a card to let him know that him & his family are in my thoughts & prayers.
