Hi guys & gals,

Sorry we disappeared for a couple of weeks but unfortunately Darrin had to get an emergency minor procedure. He is doing fine now but may have to undergo one more surgery in the next few weeks. We did not have a chance to let everyone know beforehand because it happened as an emergency. We apologize for not letting you all know sooner. Thank you all so much for all the e-mails and phone calls. It will be quite some time we can go through the amount of e-mails and such but we will do our best. He has a few appointments this week so we will be making a slow comeback. Again Darrin is okay now and hopefully will be doing his 1st post in the next few days. Thank you so much again for all of your support and concern.

We hope you all are doing well and we will see you all, very soon.

PS: Our December's contest is unfortunately cancelled and all the entries thus far, will be entered into January's contest instead. Thank you all so much for understanding.

There is a place in Thailand called "The Tiger Temple, where tourist can actually cuddle with Tigers, scratch their bellies, pet them and take photos with them. These Tigers have been rescued by Monks from poachers and now live an usual life, for such wild animals. We are usually against housing wild animals of any sort but in this case, they would all be dead if the monks had not stepped in. So if you ever had the dream to snuggle up with some friendly Tigers, then this is definitely your place.

Sorry December's winner was announced later then usual but the last judges vote, came in a couple of days later then usual. It was an extremely close race with a tie going until the last judges vote came in. You are all winners in our eyes and we thank you all so much for letting your pet(s) become MyCutePetPics celebrity.

Remember you can submit all of your o pets in December's contest, since it will be our last cash prize contest until some time next year! Hi! We personally wanted to let all of our readers and subscribers know that we've hit our 300th post mark already!! Its been a long journey of awesome pics, videos, stories, jokes and contests! We've had a great running and hopefully, with your support, we can continue giving you great posts on a daily basis. Its been soooo much fun, and its been hard as well when we haven't slept all night but needed to get a post up before a certain deadline. But we have, and we absolutely enjoyed it. Sincere thanks to all of you for making this happen. So, in return, we've created a video just for you! It features our little Chinchilla, Bandit Houdini. 1. Blaming your farts on me.....

2. Yelling at me for barking.

3. Taking me for a walk, then
not letting me check stuff out.
Exactly whose walk is this anyway?

4. Any trick that involves balancing
food on my nose. Stop it!

5. Any haircut that involves bows or ribbons.
Now you know why we chew your stuff
up when you're not home.

6. The sleight of hand, fake fetch throw.

New- Puppy Mill Rescued Bulldog Scam

It's the Holiday season and sadly there is another scam involving Bulldog puppies going around on the online community. There are many scams around this time of year, so please be extra cautious. The scam pasted below bothers immensely because they prey on animal lovers and people who are looking to adopt/rescue puppies. They make a bad name for the shelters worldwide who have numerous pets that truly need a home.

There are many versions of this e-mail scam going around but this is the latest one we received today. They will also use any type of breed in their scams. Also please note, they will usually make spelling errors on purpose, so it does not seem like a computer generated scam and it comes off as more personal.

Please be aware of the scam pasted below:

Hi,

My name is Carrie Osborne co-manager of the Animal Care Shelter,our mission is to provide temporary care and shelter for stray, abandoned and
relinquished animals, and to place as many as possible into responsible and caring homes.

We also works to create awareness and support for the humane treatment of all animals and to end animal overpopulation through
education and the promotion of spaying and neutering.

We are currenly full with no more rooms for new arrivals and now looking for urgent foster and adoption homes for a group of bulldog puppies and 2 adults.

They are a product of puppy mill confiscate by the animal control and brought to our shelter for help.

If you are interested to be a foster or adoption parent for any of these dogs, please contact me immediately.
