But now life goes on with Good JuJu!!! We have gone through some growing pains but the sales always went on and here we are getting ready to celebrate our FIRST BIRTHDAY!!! We opened our doors October 2007 and look forward to many years! Good JuJu offers Vintage, Retro, Furniture, Art, Home Decor, Mid-Century Modern, unique items, Architectural findings and assorted nonsense. These items can be used in your home, studio, client's home, set for theatre or movie. Watch for some of Good JuJu's treasures in "Peacock" starring Susan Sarandon, Ellen Page, Cillian Murphy, Bill Pullman and Josh Lucas. The movie was filmed in Des Moines, Iowa.

You don't want to miss our celebration!! We have all kinds of entertainment planned and some treats that will be pleasing to the palate as well. The celebration begins:

Friday, October 3rd 9a-9p. Saturday, October 4th 10a-5p & Sunday, October 5th 1p-4p

These also look great with black & white photo's, 2 small square photos stacked on top of each other. The possibilities are endless!!!

Each domino is $12.50. You have the choice of domino being a necklace with an adjustable leather cord or a magnet.

Turn around time is 24 hrs provided I am not swamped with orders but I will tell you at the time of ordering estimated turn around time.

Well, my intentions were good; as it turned out the only one that got a basket was my niece, Allie. Thankfully my sister, Lisa, thought it was cool enough to put on her blog so I was able to steal a pic of it for mine!!! Hehehe... My thought is that with a little practice the second or third basket would have been perfect. I need to give Laura Canale credit for the basket. She provided awesome directions on how to make it. This basket is very inexpensive to make: 1 sheet of 12 x 12 cardstock, 14 brads, & 12" of ribbon are the only supplies needed. Paper Cutter, adhesive, paper snips, & 1/16" hole punch are the tools that you need to complete the basket.

Special Offer Details:

Purchase a special-offer Wild Wasabi card stock pack for only $3.95 .

The pack includes 16 sheets of 4-1/2" x 11-1/2" Wild Wasabi textured card stock that has been scored at 1-1/8" and 5-5/8".

This special product offer is the result of a miscalculation in cutting and scoring on one batch of Wild Wasabi textured card stock for the Holiday Glitz promotion; while this paper did not meet specifications for the Holiday Glitz kits, it is excellent for creating other fun and exciting projects (see flyers for several great ideas).

OK, here we are with card #2. I basically CASED this one too. I used different colors and put some flowers along the left side; but I didn't improve the card I CASED, it was just different!

So here we are with card #3. this is what took all day!!!! Truly amazing isn't it!! I love this set (It's A Sign) but I will not purchase it until I can prove to myself that I will use it. So I challenged myself and everyone else there. Unfortunately only one other person took me up on my offer and while I did not get to see her completed card I do know it was black and yellow. this is my prototype for nephew's birthday card only the highway sign is red & blue and says "You're 8". My plan is to write with a blow pen so it looks like spray paint on the road his birthday greeting and it will be followed with "way to go you're 8" WOW if I was paid a professional hourly wage this card would have only cost $150. what a deal!
