Epic 3 Hours in Disneyland.

Club 33 in Disneyland is Changing

Club 33, the private Club that is only open to members in the New Orleans Square area of Disneyland is undergoing a huge renovation.

Some of the biggest changes include closing the Court of Angels to the public, adding a Jazz Club that is inspired by Disney's the Princess and the Frog, and a newly designed loook for the main dining room.

Will 'The Good Dinosaur' Get Pixar Back on Top?

Ever since Pixar released the not-actually-that-bad Cars 2 in 2011, the Emeryville-based animation studio has been accused of having "lost its touch" and being "dead". Even their Oscar-winning 2012 effort Brave received lukewarm reception, and even though audiences in general have welcomed this year's Monsters University much more enthusiastically, many critics are still saying that while it's good, it's not Pixar good.

Lemonade Mouth and my kids

What a weekend for my kids! Their mom's friend won an all expense paid trip to Chicago. They were able to visit the Radio Disney studios, meet A.N.T.Farm's China Anne McClain and her two sisters, AND be ON the float with Lemonade Mouth in the Magnificent Mile Lighting Ceremony parade down Michigan Avenue! Included are some of the pictures of my daughter and son. They had a fantastic time and said that Lemonade Mouth and China Anne McClain were so nice to them. They also wish to thank the staff of the Best Western River North for all they did to make their weekend special!

Finding tea in Disney World with the other 47,000 or so guests is pretty easy to do. Finding FRESH BREWED ICED TEA is not as easy, at least in a quick service. Although the tea at Disney World is drinkable, it still comes through a hose in the back of the “tea tank.” There are some locations throughout Disney World that have fresh brewed iced tea. After a long time researching and searching for tea at Disney World, I have finally compiled a list.

It’s been awhile so I can’t say how much I’m looking forward to returning to my favorite place and seeing some old friends which I find with various rides and attractions. So here I am planning an itinerary in my head but in doing so I think about certain attractions that make Disneyland special. These are the rides and attractions the Walt Disney World wishes they had. Now before you WDW fans start jumping up and down and shaking your fist at me, maybe in a few weeks I’ll write another post about the WDW attractions I wish Disneyland could have. It goes both ways.

If you cruise through the Disneyland forums and discussion boards on the web you can usually find, at least once a year, a raging debate about Disneyland’s ToonTown. The debate goes something like this. ”It’s a waste of space. There’s nothing there. Get rid of it.” vs. “My kids love ToonTown. They can spend hours in there. It’s cute and whimsical.” I tend to play both sides against the middle ground.

When my wife and I make our trips to Disneyland and its just the two of us, even though we may be there for several days, there is a 50 – 50 chance that we never go into ToonTown other than occasional visit to Roger Rabbit’s Cartoon Spin (arguably one of Disneyland’s best dark rides).

It doesn’t help that ToonTown generally opens later and closes earlier than the rest of the park. We tend to be in the group that could definitely see a better use for ToonTown’s space. And even though we are a little above the age for meet and greets, a trip into Mickey’s House every once in awhile

Walt Disney Family Museum Gives Free Admission in Celebration of Walt Disney’s Birthday

The Walt Disney Family museum has announced that they will give free admission to all museum guests in honor of Walt Disney’s Birthday. Walt Disney would be 111 years old Wednesday if he were still alive. The day of free admission will be on Wednesday, December 5 in honor of Walt’s Birth date.

The free admission will run from 10am to 8pm(those are extended hours). While the museum will be free on Wednesday, visitors will have to pay to visit the limited time exhibit featuring Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Throughout the day, special movies and tours will be shown and given.
