This is our fourth trip to Disneyland We went this year to see Disneyland at Christmas. The Christmas lights went up on November 13th. From my research, it gets busy Thanksgiving week and near Christmas time. Christmas leading up to the New Year is the busiest. Unfortunately due to my husbands schedule at work we had to go the Sunday and Tuesday before Thanksgiving, so it was busier than usual. Even though it was busy, it was Magical and Beautiful and every bit worth the 6 hour drive it takes us to get to Anaheim. Because we are on a tight budget, we started planning this trip almost the minute after our last visit-almost 6 months ago. We have stayed at the same hotel each time, Anaheim Quality Inn and Suites. It is a 15 minute walk to the entrance and has reasonable rates. They are currently under construction, so just call ahead and ask for a quiet room (I always do this with any hotel). The construction should be completed soon. If you book through Choice Privilages at least 30 days in advance you will get a xx% discount. There is also a deal where if you apply for Choice Privilages credit card then make a purchase of a hotel room, you will get 40,000 points which will get you 4 free nights at this hotel.
