My Poor Little Neglected Blog

2010-10-13T06:59:00.000-07:00

I have not been keeping up like I should on here. :( I have been so busy getting my Gold canyon Candles and Fantasia Businesses up and going that I have slacked in other areas but I'm back!!!

Fundraiser

2010-08-18T11:46:00.000-07:00

I recently signed up to be a demonstrator for Gold Canyon Candles. I am LOVING it so far. It only cost me $20 to get started and I am on my way!! If any of my readers have been looking for a direct sales company to work for this one is awesome. :) Just comment on this post and I can give you any information you need.

Now on to the fundraiser:

I'm trying to get the word out on my fundraiser for Logan McEylea. He is a 9 year old little boy from the Tennessee Valley Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. His mother has not left his side and a family member is caring for his 2 siblings. They need help to pay their everyday bills. I am offering all my commission earned from sales of my business in the next 30 days as a donation to the family. You can find more information about Logan on his facebook page : http://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/group.php?gid=122920554419991&ref=ts

If you would like to make a purchase and help with the fundraiser you can shop online securely on my website.

I grew up with the family and I will keep everyone updated on all sales on my facebook page:

Last minute run to Publix!

2010-08-03T17:45:00.000-07:00

Neilsen Homescan

2010-07-31T07:29:00.000-07:00

I've HEARD this is pretty fun to do! You get a scanner and scan all the stuff you buy and I guess get paid for helping them out. Unfortunately every time I try to sign up it says there are none available :( Maybe some of my readers will have better luck. If you get one let me know!!

The best Publix trip to date!!

2010-07-27T12:27:00.000-07:00

It was so nice to see the total OOP on this one! I lucked out and found some coupons not listed on many of the coupon match up sites.

I got:
6 boxes of hamburger/tuna/chicken helper
8 cans of Chef Boyardee
8 tubes of toothpaste

Tweeking My Page!

2010-07-22T13:14:00.000-07:00

All my readers know I love saving money! And I am still going to post my great shopping trips but I'm going to switch up some pages to show how I earn money and gift cards online! There are so many great blogs that list coupon match ups and freebies so I will always direct you to them :) After all, they are who I learned from! So stay tuned.

I'm in LOVE!!!

2010-07-22T05:49:00.000-07:00

with Swagbucks!! Lol. I joined up earlier this year but never really did anything with it and now I'm on a mission!! I want to get enough Amazon.com gift cards to pay for the nursery set I want. The bedding is like $140.So far, since the 15th, I have earned $25 and am only 50 points away from another $5!! PLUS!!! DH and I were planning on switching back to directv soon. We got mad at them for their stupid "new customer" freebies. You would think they would give offers to their existing customers in order to keep them, right?Nope.Anyways...we have had Mediacom for over a year now and I just signed up for Directv through Swagbucks and will earn....get this....12,750 swag bucks!!! That is enough for like 34 $5 gift cards!! Woot woot!!

Jamaica Fund Deposit for this week!!

2010-07-15T15:14:00.000-07:00

So I sold some of Lula's baby toys for $20
.
We got our HUGE $4 State Refund check.

And I emptied my old purses and found exactly $5.02 in change!!

GRAND TOTAL:$38.02

This was a great week!! Can't wait until I hit the first $100!

Jamaica Fund Addition

2010-07-07T09:49:00.000-07:00

Well I added $6 while we were up in New York and when I got home I had a $3 Single Check rebate from Rite-Aid! You can deposit these in the bank so we now have $9!! I am getting excited about this. It's slowly growing and I'm finding more and more "found" money!! So exciting!!

Brilliant new Idea!!

2010-06-24T14:54:00.000-07:00

So since my diaper stockpile is almost complete I kept thinking of another goal to work on. And thanks to Kristen over at Couponing to Disney I figured it out!!! Hubby and I got married in Montego Bay, Jamaica and the day we left I knew I wanted to go back! Sooooo...I am going to coupon to Jamaica!! Whatever I save with coupons is going to a Jamaica fund!! I don't have a certain time frame or anything...when I get enough I get enough. This is going to be so fun!!

I think the cost break down needed will be:

$1800 (Room)
$1500 (flight)

GRAND TOTAL: $3300

I can totally do that!!

**EDIT**

So after some research I have found out that past guests month for Sunset Beach Resort & Spa is in September and we can get awesome deals!! The room for 5 nights runs at only $900!! That is half of the regular rate!!! So I am thinking September it is!!

New Cost Breakdown:

$900 (Room)
$1300 (Flight)

Grand Total: $2200!

WAY BETTER!!
And I couponed this week up here in NY and am adding $6 so far. :)
