I present you Caroline Issa, the publisher and executive fashion director of Tank magazine. After Carolina graduated in Business, she started working as a management consultant. A few years later she went to London where she worked at Boots and that's when she met the founders' of Tank Magazine where she has been working for nine years now.
I really like her style and her natural beauty. Caroline almost never wears make up. But when she does, she only puts a little bit of mascara, bronzer and lip balm or red lipstick.
Now you probably are wondering what are her beauty secrets, right? Well, she says she always drinks a lot of water, moisturizes her skin and floss!

Admiro muito o seu estilo e principalmente a sua beleza natural. Caroline quase não usa maquilhagem e quando usa, só coloca um pouco de rimel, bronzeador e batom de cieiro ou batom vermelho.
Agora estás provavelmente a perguntar-te, como é que ela consegue ter uma pele e dentes tão perfeitos, certo? Os seus segredos de beleza são: beber muita água, hidratar a pele e usar fio dental sempre que lava os dentes!

Aren't the clothes amazing? I think they are incredibly beautiful and well designed! This collection is very classic and lady-like but still quite youthful, allowing it to reach people of all ages.

I wear shirts with everything: skirts, jeans, shorts, dresses, you name it.

As camisas são uma peça essencial no armário de todas as mulheres e homens. É algo que nunca fica fora de moda e que está disponível em muitas lojas, em muitos feitios e cores. My love for stripes has grown lately and now I'm utterly obsessed with them. They are so classic, chic and very European. You can wear them in so many outfits, during the day and even during the evening.

Get The Look: Zooey Deschanel

As you know I like Zooey's style a lot and I decided to do a Get The Look post for you. A look similar to this can be used both when the weather is warm or cold by using: tights or no tights, a jumper or a blouse, a thicker or a thinner blazer.

Even though I couldn't find it in the site I believe a very similar blazer to the one in the picture is available in Zara. I hope you like it!

Como vocês já devem saber, eu gosto bastante do estilo da Zooey e por isso decidi fazer um Get The Look post. Um look semelhante a este pode ser usado tanto quando está mais frio como quando está mais quente, usando: collants ou não, uma camisola ou uma blusa, um blazer mais grosso ou um mais fino. Apesar de não o ter encontrado no site, tenho quase a certeza que há à venda um blazer muito semelhante ao da foto, na Zara. Espero que gostem!

Dior Cruise 2012 Ad Campaign

I found this pictures and I was mesmerized by its beauty. This pictures are full of bright and pastel colours, which are a huge trend for this next season, full of incredibly well designed clothes and most importantly they were taken in a place I wish I was right now. Ok, this last one isn't the main reason I was amazed by this ad but it is very true that I wouldn't mind being there.
Anyway, back to the main topic, the inspiration of this phtoshot was the 60s glamour and its feminine clothes and fabulous hair and make up.

Encontrei estas fotos no outro dia e fiquei espantada com a sua beleza. As fotos estão repletas de cores garridas e de tons pastel, que vão ser uma tendência enorme nesta próxima temporada. A colecção está cheia de roupas incrivelmente bem desenhadas, e, mais importante, foram tiradas num lugar onde eu dava tudo para estar agora. Ok, esta última não é a razão principal que me levou a gostar tanto deste anúncio, mas é verdade que eu não me importava nada de lá estar.
Enfim, de volta ao tema principal, a inspiração desta photoshot foi o glamour dos anos 60, as suas roupas femininas e o seu fabuloso cabelo e maquilhagem.

Paper Crown

A couple of days ago I found this brand after knowing, through the site The Beauty Department, that Lauren Conrad wore "their" dress to the Golden Globes After Party. When I entered Paper Crown webpage and started to look through the collection I fell in love. Seriously, I so would wear most of it! Funny story is that after saving the pictures to show you what I had just found, I clicked on the "About" link and that's when I realized the brand was actually from Lauren herself. I know it's kind of bad, but I really had no idea. The pictures above are from the holiday collection, the one I saw first and also my favourite. They also have on their site the lookbooks from the Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer collection.

Há dois dias atrás, soube, através do site The Beauty Department, que Lauren Conrad usou um vestido da marca Paper Crown para os Globos de Ouro After Party. Como fiquei curiosa, procurei o site para que pudesse ver o resto da colecção. Quando entrei no site e comecei a ver o lookbook das colecções, apaixonei-me. É mesmo o meu estilo! O engraçado, é que só depois de clicar no link "About" é que percebi que a marca é realmente da própria Lauren Conrad. As fotos em cima são do "Holiday 2011 Lookbook", que foi a que vi primeiro e a minha favorita. No site também têm os lookbooks das coleções Outono/Inverno e Primavera/Verão.

I just saw the Golden Globes and I was so excited to show you my picks. Unfortunately I wasn't able to see them yesterday because this morning I had a test. And as tomorrow I have another I'm just going to list the ones I liked the most and tomorrow if I have the time I'll give a more detailed opinion.
The nine nominees for best dressed are..tum tum tum tum... Emma Stonne, Nicole Ritchie, Charlize Theron, Angelina Jolie, Shailene Woodly, Jessica Biel, Sarah Hyland, Sofia Vergara and Stacy Keibler

And the winner is... Charlize Theron.

I can't wait to see what they were to the Oscars!

Só ao bocado é que vi os Globos de Ouro não pude deixar de vos mostrar os meus vestidos preferidos. Mas como amanhã tenho um teste só vos vou dizer quais foram os que mais gostei e amanhã se tiver tempo, dou-vos uma opinião mais detalhada sobre os vestidos.

This pictures for some reason (even though I'm aware they are wearing fall clothes) remind me of those careless summer days when you don't really have to worry about exams, school and all those boring stuff. And when there's nothing on you're mind other than relaxing and having fun.
But my reality now is that I have tons of exams and I just wanna run, run and never stop. Unfortunately a person can't just run away from things. I've to face the bull by the horns, face it and deal with it the best way I can. Plus, like I've been told so many times, this will end. I just wish it felt like so.

Estas imagens por alguma razão (apesar de saber que a modelo está vestida com roupas de meia estação) lembram-me daqueles dias de Verão em que uma pessoa não se tem de preocupar com exames, faculdade e todas essas coisas chatas. Aqueles dias, em que o maior problema de uma pessoa é o que vai fazer a seguir: ficar em casa a ver séries ou ir à praia.
Mas a minha realidade agora é que eu tenho montes de exames e só me apetece correr, correr e nunca mais parar. Infelizmente não se pode simplesmente fugir das coisas. Tenho de enfrentar o touro pelos cornos e lidar com com a situação da melhor maneira que conseguir. Além disso, como já me têm dito tantas vezes, isto vai acabar. Eu só queria que parecesse que fosse.

Gwyneth Paltrow for Coach

I really like the bags, the silk scarves and the coats (specially the first one) which are perfect for a big City girl since they are modern, stylish and practical.

Eu gosto imenso das carteiras, dos lenços e dos casacos (especialmente do primeiro) que são perfeitos para uma big City girl uma vez que as peças são modernas, elegantes e práticas.

Event: Stella McCartney Soho Store Opening

Stella McCartney just opened a store in Soho. To celebrate, organized an opening party with dinner and drinks included. It was a small event to which 50 people were invited. The guest list included (by order of appearence in the photos) Liv Tyler, Elettra Rossellini Wiedemann, Naomi Watts, Anna Wintour, Aerin Lauder, LA Reid and wife Perri, Jason Sudeikis, David Lauren and Lauren Bush-Lauren, Cindy Sherman and others. Liv looks amazing with that stunning pencil dress that shows her small baby bump. And who doesn't love Stella's shoes? I sure do!

Earlier in the day Stella McCartney presented the pre-Fall/Winter 2012/2013 collection. I like some items more than others though. I am not loving the electric blue clothes with monograms for example. But I did find the clothes from the first and third pictures very elegant and I would so wear them (if I had the money, I mean :b ).

It must have been a fantastic event, with so many important fashion figures and in a place I wish I can go some day..

Stella McCartney acaba de abrir uma loja em Soho. Para comemorar, organizou uma festa de abertura com jantar e bebidas incluídas. Foi um pequeno evento para o qual 50 pessoas foram convidadas. A lista de convidados incluiu (pela ordem que aparecem nas fotos) Liv Tyler, Elettra Rossellini Wiedemann, Naomi Watts, Anna Wintour, Aerin Lauder, LA Reid e a mulher Perri, Jason Sudeikis, David Lauren e Lauren Bush-Lauren, CindySherman e outros. Liv fica deslumbrante com o vestido azul petróleo e preto e ainda para mais realça a sua barriga (sim, ela está grávida). E quem não gosta dos sapatos da Stella? Eu gosto, e muito!
No inicio do dia Stella McCartney tinha apresentado a pré-colecção Outono/Inverno 2012/2013. Para ser franca, algumas peças não são muito do meu agrado, principalmente as que têm uns desenhos pequeninos (segunda foto). No entanto, acho a roupas da primeira e terceira fotos muito elegantes e o corte minimalista das peças é muito bonito.

Deve ter sido um evento fantástico, com personalidades muito importantes no mundo da moda. Ainda para mais teve lugar em Soho, Nova York, um sitio que eu queria ir um dia..quem sabe..

Fashion Crush: Brigitte Bardot

Brigitte Bardot is a former model, actress and singer, known by a lot people that like, or not, fashion and is one of my fashion icons. I love her French, feminine, laid back but still sexy style. Her hair looks always amazing and she wear it with a lot of volume and a little bit messy, whether its on a bun of loose. Plus she is an animal rights activist which is other thing I admire about her.

Brigitte Bardot é uma ex-modelo, atriz e cantora, conhecida por muita gente, incluindo pessoas que gostam ou não de moda. Para além disso, é um dos fashion icons preferidos. Adoro o seu estilo francês, feminino, descontraído mas sempre sexy. O seu cabelo está sempre perfeito, sendo que Brigitte o usa com muito volume e um pouco despenteado, quer o use solto ou apanhado. Além disso, ela é uma defensora dos direitos dos animais, o que é algo que admiro bastante nela.

Jane by Design

A couple of weeks ago I was checking the schedule of the series premieres, when I saw this new tv show and decided to see its preview. I really liked its story so I did a very bad thing.. I downloaded it.

The series is revolves around the life of a teenage girl called Jane who is mistaken as an adult and lands a job in a hip retail company. Because she really wants this job, she will try to conciliate school with work. But, will she manage to do so, without being discovered?

Jane uses very fun, colourful, age appropriate and always very stylish clothes and accessories, both to school and to work.

Have you heard or seen this TV show yet?

This is an outfit I've created that I can totally see Jane wearing.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is a British model most know as one of Victoria Secret angels. Recently she appears in Burberry campaigns and in many fashion magazines. She also just started acting and is one of the main characters of the film Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

It was only a couple of months ago that I started to actually notice her and her style. I really like that she dresses casually but looks always very put together and very trendy. We see her a lot wearing leather jackets and skinny jeans. Also, Rosie is always seen carrying fabulous designer bags.

Isabel Lucas for Glamour UK Magazine

I was making a break from Studying, when I found this pictures of Isabel Lucas for Glamour Uk Magazine and I could not resist sharing them with you. I found the outfits incredibly well put together, very chic and glamorous. However, I don't think they fit Isabel's style since she's very bohemian and laid back style, even in formal events. Maybe she would wear some items but definitely not all. Anyways, she is so beautiful and elegant and the outfits look great on her (anything does really), so we sure don't mind that she models them, right?
My favourite items are the shoes and the dress which is the most adorable thing ever.

Dakota Fanning First Day at Uni
