BRITNEY SPEARS has been making news for her personal life lately, but with the release of her new single the recently divorced mother of two is ready to reclaim her title as the reigning pop princess. Friday night in Las Vegas, Britney hosted the opening of the brand new club LAX at the Luxor Hotel.

Thursday night New York radio station Z-100 officially premiered the new track, called "Gimme More," on its Web site.

Is Britney the "Perfect 10?"

When you think about all the controversy over recent years circling around the perfect size of an actress, the physical attributes that call for criticism against the skeletal body shape for example, we saw that actresses began to give Models a run for their money when it came to being too thin.

This certainly created more and more taunting from the press over bad imaging and unfair role modeling for young girls. After all, young girls were starving themselves to the point of hospitalization, girls as young as 10 years old were stealing diet pills from drug stores trying to imitate the skin over bones look that they saw in the media. This thankfully, gave the modeling world a wake up call. Models were starting to be presented as healthy, the scraggly, death warmed over starving look was fading out. They now proudly say that they provide food for the Models in the backroom! That is a major deal, it's a really bold and huge move in the Modeling world.

Now, we all are aware that when Britney Spears walked the stage of the MTV Awards on Sept 10 007, in her black bikini, the crude comments in the press calling her belly pudgy, even Paris Hilton put in her two cents with rejection to the singers physical attributes, has made the progress of a healthy image slide backwards.

Yes, Britney might have been in error.....

Paris Hilton has a great deal of pride and need to be recognized and appreciated. The way to really hurt her feelings is to ignore her.

Paris Hilton often makes decisions solely for emotional or personal reasons, because something "feels right" or because she has always done it a certain way and she is uncomfortable changing it. Even when Hilton thinks she is being rational, her prejudices, intuitions, and feelings influence her thoughts a great deal. Paris is comfortable talking about feelings and personal subjects, and sharing confidences, which enables others to express their own inner feelings with her as well. She also has good psychological insight into others.

Paris needs love, affection, and nurturing in her relationships, and enjoys being pampered - all of which is fine, as long as she is willing to give as well as receive the attention and "babying". There is a rather childish dependency on loved ones which can make Hilton cling to them, or to be very uncomfortable with any conflict which could conceivably lead to separation. Creating a loving family is certainly a challenge for Paris Hilton, one that can be enormously satisfying if she can achieve it - and a source of great sadness if she cannot.

Forbes Magazine named this year Filipino-American teenage star Vanessa Hudgens as one of the of the Young Hollywood's Top-Earning Stars along with Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe and pop music singer Lindsay Lohan.

The 18-year old Vanessa who is a co-star of Disney's blockbuster made-for-television musical film, the High School Musical lands at No. 7 with estimated earnings of $2 million.

The third High School Musical, still with Vanessa and her co-star and real-life sweetheart Zac Efron, is expected to bring Vanessa to greater heights. It will be released in 2008.

The Life of Vanessa Hudgens and High School Musical

Vanessa Hudgens was born on December 14, 1988 in Salinas California. Already a big name in the teen circle she is only 18 years old but has already had quite a career for herself. Vanessa Hudgens, often referred to as Nessa by her family and friends, and V in Hollywood, is one of the main stars of High School Musical 1 and 2, Gabriella. She can sing, she can act, and she can dance. That alone is making her super powerful in Hollywood, and she is threatening to be quite a big player in the movie and television media. Most people agree that she already is.

Vanessa Hudgens first big break came when a friend of hers had a commercial to audition for but couldn't make it. Vanessa took her place, and the commercial. She moved on to musical theatre when she was just 8 years old and has had parts in Evita, The Wizard of Oz, The Music Man and many others. In 2003 she made her film debut in Thirteen and was on screen with Holly Hunter and Evan Rachel Wood. She was born in Salinas, California and lived in Oregon and Paso Robles, California before moving to San Diego.
