More "Every Day of the Year" Challenges!

Are you challenging yourself to find a cache every day of the year? There are now new profile sections for you to track the days of the year you've found Letterbox caches and Wherigo caches. These are in addition to existing charts for all caches, Traditional caches, Virtual caches, Unknown caches, Multicaches, and Earthcaches. These challenges aren't for everyone, so you can expand or collapse the optional profile sections when customizing your profile. Also, each chart is available in a horizontal or vertical format. Choose the one you like the most!

New Continental Cacher GeoAchievement Badge!

A new GeoAchievement Badge is now available on mygeocachingprofile.com! The "Continental Cacher" badge awards cachers for finding hides on different world continents. 1-Star badges are awarded to cachers who have finds on two continents. 2-Star badges are for three continents. 3-Star badges are for four or five continents. The 4-Star badge is for six continents and the 5-Star badge is reserved for those select cachers who have traveled and cached on all seven continents!

For the purposes of this badge, each country is designated as being on one continent. Some countries, such as Russia, can be either Europe or Asia, and you'll get credit for whichever of the two continents you hadn't already cached on. More "Well Rounded Cacher" Features

The Well Rounded Cacher tool shows the diversity and variety of caches you've found from cache types, cache containers, cache sizes, difficulty/terrain ratings, etc. Many challenges require you to find all difficulty/terrain combinations before you can sign the log. Some even want you to find every D/T combination while only counting a specific cache type. For example, a challenge might ask you to find every D/T combination but you can only count Multi-Caches! If you're working on a similar challenge, the Well Rounded Cacher tool now shows you your progress on finding every D/T combination for a specific restricted set of cache types. Just go to the Extras > Well Rounded Cacher Challenge page, customize your challenge, save your changes, and re-upload your My Finds PQ zip file to see the results! Canadian Cachers - You can now track your finds throughout all the districts and "counties" of The Great White North! The new map is located in the "Other Maps" section of the "Customize My Profile" page.

Finds Closest to Equator and Prime Meridian

Nevada DeLorme Map Now Includes List of Qualifying Caches

The Nevada DeLorme map now includes a list of qualifying caches for each page. Nevada has a special rule specifying that caches in the shared space between pages 50 and 42 can be counted toward either page. This rule is incorporated into deciding the eligibility of caches.

Hide Your Regretful GeoSlump

The "My Caching Chronology" Profile Section not only shows your longest streak of cache finds but your longest slump as well. That's the longest period of time where you didn't cache at all. If you'd rather forget that period of time than be reminded about it, you can now disable just the GeoSlump stat. The option is above the Caching Chronology profile section.

After unchecking the GeoSlump option, upload your My Finds PQ again and the stat will be removed from the Chronology image.

Newest US County Data Now Available!

Mygeocachingprofile.com now has updated US county maps using the latest county data from the US Census Bureau. Check out your favorite states after your next My Finds PQ upload! The biggest changes are in Connecticut which has implemented 9 new county-equivalent zones and some small changes in Alaska and South Dakota.

Cacti Present Attribute

The "Cacti Present" attribute will no longer be shown on the attribute list UNLESS you have found one of the precious few caches still displaying this deprecated attribute. For those of you wondering, the attribute still exists on GC684 and a few archived Event caches.

New DeLorme Map - Rhode Island Edition 5

New Czechia Country Map!

Czechia (aka The Czech Republic) joins our growing list of country maps on the Customize Profile > Other Maps page. Groundspeak reported that Czechia had the fourth largest amount of find logs in 2021! The new map will track your progress caching through all 14 Czech Republic regions.

New Detailed Fizzy Challenge Section

Are you a Fizzy challenge fanatic filling the grid in new and creative ways? Mygeocachingprofile.com has a new profile section just for you. The "Fizzy Challenge Progress" section breaks down how many difficulty/terrain combinations you've found, but also shows how many you've found in each state, for each cache type, for each container type, and even for each attribute. Have you filled the D/T grid using only Multi-Caches? Or, how about using only caches with the Scenic View attribute?

Add Adventure Lab Caches to Your First to Find List

You can now add adventure lab caches to your FTF list on mygeocachingprofile.com! As geocachers know, adventure lab caches are partially integrated into the traditional geocaching.com platform and many of you have asked for an option to indicate when you were the first to find a new adventure lab cache. The "My Memorable Finds" section's "Log Your FTFs" feature now includes the ability to log an adventure lab cache as well as normal GC caches. Just add the adventure lab cache to your list and the next time you upload your latest "My Finds" PQ, the adventure lab cache will be displayed on your FTF list.

Tennessee DeLorme Map Edition 9 Now Available!

The Tennessee DeLorme Challenge - Middle Tennessee Edition (GC4GWZA) map is now available. This map joins the existing map for the GCZ313 TN DeLorme Challenge. The previous map references Edition 7 of the DeLorme TN atlas while the new map references the 9th Edition. The map is now available on the Customize My Profile > US Map page! As with all new profile sections, you must check the profile section to indicate you want it added to your profile, upload your My Finds PQ to create the map, and then do a fresh copy/paste of your profile HTML code to your geocaching.com profile if you want to display the new map there.

New Profile Section - List of Qualifying Jasmer Finds

Are you a Jasmer challenge cacher? Do you always scrutinize the placement month and year of any cache you find? We've just added a new profile section that may help: a list of all the months/years since geocaching began with your first qualifying Jasmer cache if you've found one.

The new list is found in the existing "Jasmer Challenge Progress" section: https://www.mygeocachingprofile.com/account/myprofile.aspx#myjasmerchallengeprogress. If you'd like to include it in your profile, check the box to include the list in your profile, upload your latest My Finds PQ, and export your HTML code over to your geocaching.com profile to see the new image from now on.

Four New Attributes Added to the Site!

Geocaching.com recently announced four new attributes - Challenge Caches, Power Trails, Bonus Caches, and Geocaching.com Solution Checker Caches (https://www.geocaching.com/blog/?p=79169) These four attributes are now included on the mygeocachingprofile.com "Cache Attributes I've Found" section. They are also added to the requirements for the Attributes GeoAchievement badge.

Download your latest My Finds PQ from geocaching.com and upload it to mygeocachingprofile.com to refresh your stats and see your totals for these new attributes. Remember, it may take some time for older caches to be updated with the relevant attributes. For example, cache owners will need to update their power trail caches to include the new attribute before you'll get credit for the attribute.

Florida DeLorme Map Edition 10 Now Available!
