I Have a Happy Birthday

Today is my birthday...

Since yesterday, I started getting birthday wishes from family and friends.

Thanks to Mama for making hard boiled egg dipped with red coloring, this is a blessing from mama to me for having another good year with good health and good luck. Yummy hard boiled egg was in my stomach now... yum!

Thanks to sister for the birthday gift ~ a Coach wristlet, followed with FB messages, Whatsapp messages and phone call with both sister and my niece sang me the birthday song... so sweet!

Thanks to brother for the birthday gift ~ another Coach wristlet. I forgot telling him that sister have bought me one. Yet, I love both the wristlets... Thanks again to my lovely siblings. Muacksss!

Thanks to Samyi (my auntie) for and angpow given to me, a blessing of another greater year for me.

Thanks to cousins for wishes sent to me... and there will be a belated brithday gift from them... I knew who is going to buy me the gift... Waiting patiencely now :). Yes, we have practice of buying gift for the birthday cousin in our lovely cousin group.

Thanks to my friends for sending me wishes via SMS, Whatsapp messages, FB postings, all about my birthday ~ You all are just so awesome!

For myself, it's another year I have gained, and for me to experience the beautiful life of mine. I wish to be a better person to have a better living with my family, with good health and good luck.

Xmas & New Year!

Busy with works on weekdays since last Dec till now

Yet I have super duper happy and satisfied Xmas and New Year

It's all about foods, family, friends and shopping!

Xmas Day ~

At Xmas, sister and kids were back for holiday

We went to Da Sa Rang for a yummilicios korean meal

Hot and spicy for the night!

My beloved siblings, nephew and niece

We enjoyed the time a lot... good foods with good laughters!

Lovely times with sister, nephew and niece

Enjoying free coffee at Setia Alam Welcome Center,

while waiting for brother to show us his new home sweet home

Eric loves the riding on the buggy provided by SP for fetching us to show unit

We have Xmas eve's dinner at Zanmai Sushi

New Year Day ~

On new year eve, I was meeting my good friend Mow Mow

We were having dinner at Thai Express at Jurong Point

Great catch up... We talked a lot~

Yes... New Year Day was just as happy as it used to be!

Mama, sister and me were having great shopping time!

We bought a lot of good stuffs with good prices!

My first H&M dress looked great? lolsss

I love shopping at Singapore!

What I have had at 2011

What I have had at 2011? Happiness, sorrow, tough... easy going... it a mixture of all!

Work wise~
I just changed my job at end of 2010, I was initially hoping the new job I got was a great one! But it was wrong, that was the first job I have worked for only 6 months, the shortest job I have! I left as I can't adapt to the working culture of the company. Yet, there came another opportunity, I was asked to join my ex-boss for working together again. Finally I choosed to work with my ex-bss again. I have no problem working with him, work is plentyful and we are clearing each one by one based on priority. Work is consider good for me this year!

Friend wise~
I met some new friends this year, there was one we communicate quite well. Yet due to job changed, we stopped contact each other frequently, hardly contact nowaday. I am still in good contact with my group of buddies from ASSB, and bobo club girl-friends from Obtech, and few more good friends of my school times. Friends are important to me, we share life thoughts, good foods, nice talks and laughters together! Friendship is in good maintenance this year!

Family wise~
Few things happened... Father can't walk well, ill due to oldman's sickness. Yet he is still a sturburn man to us, not always listen to us. Mother needs to take care of father now, hardly comes staying with me at my home now. Mother still likes to worry much, I did my best to talk to her more and make her happy. Brother got his new girl friend this year and has his new home sweet home get ready soon, happy for him! Sister faced some problems with her family and what I can do is to talk to her more, to get her to share with me more. I can't do much, I can only listen and console. In my family, my aunt Samyi and me are the one with positive thinking, so we try to input our family members the positive thinking rather than thinking negatively. I sincerely hope everyone in my family will have less worry and live life happily.

Pesonal wise~
I keep learning, experiencing the life I have. Still old same way that I always practice, be happy and go lucky with a contented heart. I strongly believe my thinking reflected how I carry my life. I revised my financial planning by re-financing my home loan and I changed my car since last year end, bigger commitment I am having, yet everything is mangaeble, all by my own! Luckily, I did have my travelling plan came real and have visited to some places this year. Furkids are good, behaving and I love them more! I am still single, not sure there will be something different in coming year or not... I shall tell more in coming year! I always feel I am blessed, everything is just nice to me!

Coming year 2012, I want to live a better and happier life! Happy 2012 and I have had it with no regret!

Ford Driving Skills for Life

Last weekend, I have participated a beneficial program ~ Ford Driving Skills for Life, organized by Sime Darby Auto ConneXion. We were able to experience the car functions built in our car, and with that we know better on our car fucntionalities.
First, we were being taught on how to handle our steering, what is oversteer and what is understeer, what is the right seat position of the driver for the car. Besides, it also explained to us for the built in functionalities in our car. Following this, we were being lead by our intructor to start the three practices of the program.

Mr. Razman is the intructor of our group (with 7 persons). He is an experienced instructor who have worked at F1 Sepang Circuit, Shell Tank Training Center before. He shared a lot of driving experience with us.

First Practice: Testing of ABS
We were asked to drive at the speed of 60km, and were asked to pedal on our brake to the maximum to test the ABS built in our car. After this, we were asked to do the same braking while steering our car to aside to avoid our car from banging the barrier (the barrier is just the cones, hahahaha)... With this, we able to feel and experience the power of ABS in our car. When the maximum braking is made, and triggered ABS, there's a sound of brake and tyres. This practice sounded easy but in fact it's quite tough.

Second Practice: Steering and Slalom Test
We were asked to drive in a pre-designed path to pratice our right way of steering, with 9-3 o'clock hand position and Cross Steer. Instructor will be seeing us on how to steer our car and correcting us by sending instruction to us thru the walkie-talkie that was placed in our car. So we will listen to his instruction and practice. This is not a too hard for us to learn.

Third Practice: Skid a Car with EPS
The most exciting and scary practice for us, was the one that we have to drive and try to skid the car. For this exercise, we were using SDAC provided car, is a Ford Focus. We experienced the car handling without EPS on and with EPS on. It a big difference with EPS on, where it shown us how traction control works to stabilize the car and recover the car from its sideway motion. This is the toughest practice to us yet is the mose exciting and interesting practice we have done.

Overall this is a beneficial program I have attended, it came with a certificate of attendance, plus a goodie bag with a 1 polo t, 1 t-shirt, 1 table calendar, 1 thumb drive, 1 notepad and 1 ford focus model (soft toy type). I found it's worth with the RM50 I paid for the program.

Pre-Xmas Celebration

We have pre-Xmas celebration

Due to some of us not free on the Xmas day

This year we have it at newly opened restaurant, Gourmandis

They served us the so called 5 courses of fine dining

Yet, it's not up to my expectation in term of the foods served

I will rate it 5 out of 10 only.

This year, we have celebration with some gentlemen joining us

there are boy friends of my best girl friends

More merrier, more funs, more laughters and more gifts!

It's a great night again

Thought foods served was below my expectation

But the gifts I have got was above my expectation

Chit-chating, laughters cheered everyone of us!

Thanks all for the great night we spent together

i-City, a park for the public to visit for the fake plants with all LED lights on at night time,

and it's a commercial center at day time.

It's looking awesome when you are looking at the park from far, like on the Federal Highway

But when you walk in the park, it's not as awesome as you have seen from far.

For me, I visited the park once and for all, may be due to I don't like fake plants

Not to deny that, this is a park for you to practice photo shooting on lighting

The Park was crowded with many visitors

I don't fancy taking pictures with big crowd

I am just too into this... other than the Chatime..

Snowflake... a healthy dessert popular in town now

The origin concept of the dessert is from Taiwan with home-made ingredients

I like their taroballs... so good with bites in mouth

And it's just taste good, not too sweet.

Tell you what, their take-away bowl will keep your dessert cold and won't melt easily

This is why I don't mind take-away my dessert from Snowflake!

Snowflake can easily find in malls like Pavilion, Mid Valley...

Shops located at Kota Damansara, Kuchai Lama, Puchong IOI Boulevard...

Good Exercise

Hill Track is good exercise I like

Moving my body after a 5 days sitting in the office

Walking is especially good, because it increases circulation to the brain

I found this is a good way to re-charge myself

Love the sun light went thru the trees and branches into the forest

warm sun light in an early morning of Saturday... so comfy!

Economy yet Yummy

Most local and travellers from outstations will come to here for the economy yet yummy food

It's a food stall under a big tree near to Pasir Pinji Ipoh

怡保兵如港大树头，忠记炸料与清汤粉

Zhong Kee, a stall selling noodle with yong tou foo

The yong tou foo here is sold at RM0.60 per piece, except for chili

big in portion and yummy

They are serving laksa too, quite a good one too!

Want to locate where is the stall? Who does know where Tuck Kee Restaurant located...

the stall just next to it...

Just go along Kampar Road, passing The Store, turn left to the second junction,

the go straight, you will see Tuck Kee, the Zhong Kee just next to it!

The 2 favourite months of mine....
Dec is the shopping month and festive seasons month for me... hohoho, Xmas and New Year!
Jan is my birthday month, I love this month very much... plus Chinese New Year too!

Good foods, good present, good companions, good times are all in these two months! <3 <3

I have read a lot of blogs mentioning about Decanter, on their american breakfast

Finally, we have the american breakfast here

Frankly, the omelette is very yummy, I picked with add-on with turkey ham

the little cup of macchiato is able to fill up my caffeine addiction

What a good place for a good breakfast at the Saturday morning!

There are few outlets of Decanter in Klang Valley

Decanter PJ didn't serve breakfast, so we came to Decanter @ Jalan SetiaKasih 5

Breakfast served here from 7:30am to 11:00am

Remember the time, as not to miss the yummy breakfast :)

I heard the specialty of this cafe is their cupcakes

Yet, i personally like the sandwiches here rather than the cupcakes

Cupcakes from my colleague's wife taste better, haha

No doubt, this is a good place for chit-chat

good environment, but I do hope the foods here have further improvement.

Day Trip @ Cameron Highland

Sister and kids were back from Singapore for holiday

We all were back to hometown

This time, we didn't do shopping at shopping malls

we all were having a day trip at Cameron Highland

It's the first time I drove my fofi to the highland

It's proven I have made a good choice on buying my new car

haha....

Ok, back to the day trip we have at highland

Good scenery along the journey to the highland

The kids were happily plucking strawberries in the strawberry park

RM20 to pluck the 500g of strawberrie

It's fun experience we have!

Mama has bought plenty of pearl corns here

Extremely love the fried sweet potato balls sold here!

Having tea time at Bharat Tea Farm

Not as good as Boh Tea Farm...

Sis, I promise... we go Boh Tea Farm next time! :p

Homemade Breakfast

Breakfast is important for us to start our day... this is what i always hear

but i seldom take heavy breakfast

few slices of biscuits and a cup of coffee

or cereal drink

or breads with half boiled eggs and a cup of coffee

or sandwiches and a cup of coffee

Lately, I like to have my home made sandwiches as my breakfast

found it simple to prepare yet yummy

Luncheon ham + cheese slice + bread

I knew breakfast is important to me, I will practice having my homemade breakfast more!
