Heavy exercising on the hcg diet will retain water which will either show a gain or no loss. Strenuous exercising on the hCG diet may also cause hunger. We are only eating about 500 calories, so energy conservation is desired.

What other exercises would be good? What exercising are you doing on the hCG diet?

Yoga
Pilates
Stretching
Swimming......

Why is this a goal? Cause I love to torture myself.

IF you have never had a Brizilian Wax or even if you have had one, you need to watch this! I found this about a year ago.

Seriously this is a hCG diet goal of mine because I didn't want people to see my belly fat and belly overhang when I had it done.

Have not made it to flat belly status even before so to date, it's still the wild bush from the Amazon down under, but one day, one day it won't be and I'm in for a treat. SO I will devote my entire 5 days to doing this new tutorial on building and watching the videos as I go to get it done. I was reading a book things were not going smoothly to say the least!

Okay, on the hcg diet I've not lost 17 lbs. Not bad, not the greats but not bad because that is 17 lbs less then before, 17 lbs of fat I don't have and 17 lbs off my joints!

Yes you have to look at things another way sometimes and I choose to celebrate every ounce of loss on the hcg diet protocol as a victory!! Why? Well being on the hcg diet isn't easy, eating hcg food isn't always the most abundant and if I'm going to have to do this diet again I'm not going to take it for granted.

Now for those just reading my blog, I want to say, the hcg diet didn't fail me. I stopped exercising and didn't take the 5 lbs gain or the 10 lbs gain that Pounds and Inches warns you about. That was my fault not the hcg diets fault. I also allowed myself to believe because my clothes were still fitting nicely and wasn't showing the gain, as it did take several months to really start to show up after I stopped exercising and wasn't actively dieting, that I was still OK. I wasn't.

I kept my weight off for 18 months after hCG. My record is 6 years on Low Carb Atkins style but, and I firmly believe this, my age (over 40) and my thyroid issues, I must exercise to be successful long term.

I'd say that the gain after exercising took about 4-6 months but again, I was eating whatever I wanted, not really watching that and not even walking!!

Lesson learned the hard way and I will not allow it to happen again. Can't afford to mentally, physically or health wise.

I LOVED the skinny me on hCG and I must admit I was skinnier on hCG then I was on low carb. Don't get me wrong I love low carb eating (I am not big on veggies, just don't like a lot of them, YMMV), but the hCG diet the fat loss was so much more and faster.

Okay enough of my personal sob story!! Post some happy news!

Eating 500 calories is a day is considered a VLCD (very low calorie diet) and unfortunately cravings feeling of hunger will happen and the reality is it's hard to over come.

So here are a few tips that work for me.

1. Chew your food slow
2. Drink a cold glass of water
3. L Glutamine in powder form
4. Peppermint
5. Cut out any artificial sweeteners for a few days

Okay chewing your food slow and eating slower in general will slow give your brain time to register that it has eaten.

Drinking water 1st will give your body time to determine if you were dehydrated or hungry. Sometimes your body will give you the same signals when it's really craving good old fashion cold water.

L Glutamine, an amino acid, can stabilize blood sugar and decrease alcohol cravings. Glutamine does this by several mechanisms. When the blood sugar is low, Glutamine suppresses insulin to stop the further decline of the sugar levels. It also stimulates glycogen (a stored form of glucose) to be released to help increase the blood sugar to normal levels.

Peppermint, this is really pretty old trick, but taking a few drops the essential oil peppermint and mixing it with distilled water or filtered water in a small bottle with a roller for a top does work for me. I just roll this on my tongue a few times when I feel cravings and the taste is I am craving is gone.

IF I feel I'm having extra cravings then I cut back on my AS intake it's a known trigger to start you on a roll that you can't get off of.

These are just little helpful tips!

What I do is use chicken, crab meat and fish. I eat steak but I'd rather have that in a salad because it never looks like a lot of meat.

My target time to eat is 10 am my fruit, then 1pm a huge salad and protein and then 6pm fruit salad and protein. I usually eat the am fruit slow and have hot tea and water all day long. My daily looks like this.

5:30 am walk or T-Tapp, water

10:00 am water fruit

1:00 pm water or tea, salad, protein

6:00 pm water or tea, salad, protein, 1 veggie and fruit.

Water and tea is as needed or wanted. I do 8 oz of water when I exercise and 8 oz at each meal or snack.

My other option looks like this

5:30 am walk or T-Tapp, water

10 am water fruit

1:00 pm water tea, salad, protein

4 pm fruit

6:00 pm water or tea, salad, protein and 1 veggie

That's pretty much it. Spacing it out and water keeps simple and me not hungry. You also get use to eating less vs. more and I find I am full faster.

1 pound down!

So bad I was having contractions every 5 minutes, could not get out of bed or do anything. Going to try to avoid that this time around.

I spend 4 days preparing my mind and body and getting back into the grove to have TOM show up. But I'm not going to let it stop me.

Another point I'd like to make about this gain that I found very interesting. The weight didn't just come back quickly, it was just last Christmas that I started to put it back on slowly when I stopped exercising.

What I noticed was I was still fitting into some of my skinner clothes as I was gaining. The fat didn't just come back in the same places very quickly. My belly was the last to get fat again.

Now I'm not trying to be a science experiment or anything but I found that interesting.

Well I didn't walk this morning but I will do my T-Tapp.

Peace!

I gained weight! Well not because the diet failed but simply because I also stopped EXERCISING. See even after I stopped actively dieting I was still exercising, walking and doing T-Tapp. When I stopped that the weight started piling back on and I didn't do anything to stop it! So I am back dieting and exercising and back to T-Tapping my way to better health.

Did I ever make it to my goal? Yes and no. Into the jeans? No, into a smaller trimmer me? YES and that was because of the HCG diet and exercise. So I'm back will be actively posting and working towards being 150 again and healthy for life.

Look at age 43 soon to be 44, I gotta exercise to keep the weight at bay especially since I do LOVE to eat 'bad' foods sometimes.

And while I agreed, because it is but I also compared the similarity to going into Rehab. Yes, Rehab.

I say this because having a diet that is this restrictive you learn about your inner emotional demons, what drives you to overeat or eat your feelings, fear, loneliness, stress, frustration, boredom, anxiety, habit. To me the hCG diet protocol as prescribed by Dr. Siemons helps you find your inner strength and gives you a new direction to channel those demons and make positive life changes. Of course entire premise is assuming you treat this as a solution and not just a diet. Not incorporating dietary changes for the long term is a recipe for yet another diet failure. Does that mean I will never have ice cream or a pastry or any fat laden, sugar rich treat with processed white flower again? Heck no. I will but it will never be to the extent I have in the past, because those types of foods are what brought me to find this solution to my weight issues. To also help me deal with why I overeat I found EFT is an excellent therapy. EFT is a powerful tool to aid in healing life issues.

To me this is a life change not just another diet. While I’m taking this journey I am also discovering food allergies, tolerance levels for foods and developing new tastes for food. I already have a long term plan for me to maintain, Atkins Low Carb is my long term solution to maintaining the weight I will be shortly. I like low carb I agree with the theory of low carb and I LOVE the food choices I have on low carb.

As of today I have been on hCG Diet for 12 days and I have lost a total of 14 pounds. I’m happy and I frankly I haven’t felt this happy or found a diet this easy to lose with since first discovering Atkins back in 1997 and losing weight.

I am feeling really good. I notice I don’t eat lunch until late and I’m going to have to correct that as I’d rather have lunch around 1 vs. 3. Makes dinner very late. I am not feeling very hungry!

I picked up some oolong tea also as I saw it in the store so I thought I’d give it a try. There are many health benefits to oolong tea so, why not? I drink green tea already.

I had a bad night last night. I made the horrendous mistake of going to my favorite upscale grocery store for some specialty items. I love this store but NOT on this diet. They do taste test of foods, cook ribs, chicken, pork, fresh pastry, and oodles of deserts. I came home and thought of nothing but food. Not cravings, just thinking of food, all the food I saw I wanted to taste it as I love good food, the taste, texture, smell, feel in my mouth. I had to fight the urge to fix something out of my frig or run back and grab a rack of ribs!!

But while I was laying in bed thinking of the food, I realized, I wasn’t having a craving. I did not have a profound uncontrollable overwhelming desire to have chocolate (my drug of choice) or any food for that matter. I just wanted the damn food. This was like an epiphany, I have control. My control. Much like the song Janet Jackson sang way back in 1984.

This is a story about my Control. Control of what I say and Control of what I do, Control of what I EAT! And this time, I’m going to do this my way!

I had to do 4 days of loading vs. 3 because on Memorial Day I went to see Pirates of The Caribbean At Worlds End and the movie was good but long and I did not eat before going. HUGE mistake on my part and I would not recommend another person not eating breakfast and lunch and going to a 3 hour movie! AND I started my menses, which was even worst. I have a awful headache and hunger and I just could not start, so I did another load day. O, Well.

The injections were great, as injections go. The first day I had more fear and trepidation, which caused tension and pain, and there is something that happens to a person, psychologically, when they see themselves sticking a needle into their own flesh. It is a bit unnerving. On a pain scale of 1-10 with 10 being right up there with childbirth, I would have to say day 1 shot was 8 for me. Yes, I had a very fine needle 29 gauge ½’ Insulin syringe, but again with the tension, it didn’t matter. Days 2 and 3 were much better. More like a 2 or 1 so it is something I can tolerate for what hCG does long term.

So, on 5-29-07 I started my 500-calorie diet. I thought I would do better as I did Kimkins and that went fine, but I soon realized no breakfast was going to be an issue. On Kimkins, I had an egg omelet with shrimp or crabmeat or both every morning and it was great. Dr. Simeons original diet you do not eat breakfast. So I had a bad headache, hungry and no breakfast! By lunch, I was very grateful to eat. Until I saw, exactly what 100 grams of chicken looked liked! Think of a 5 year olds fist. That’s it. That is 100 grams of chicken. Okay I thought I could do this. Soon my hCG would kick in and I won’t feel hungry. Well dinner rolled around and this time I had crabmeat. I decided at that moment I would try to eat as much crabmeat as humanly possible as 100 grams of lump crabmeat looks like a meal for an adult!

5-30-07, 5:00 am, the next morning I still was hungry and I had a headache. When was the hCG effect supposed to kick in? I was praying it would be soon. I got on the scale after using the bathroom and to my surprise, 3 entire pounds GONE! Well, that was fantastic news. So from 5:30 until about 12:30 I rejoiced in my 3 pound lose eat my little happy meal lunch (a 5 year old fists of food and salad). I read about making the strawberries into a smoothie, with ice and water so I did that. Boy that was delicious and very decadent on 500 cals a day. So I made another for my after dinner treat. O dinner on this night was yet another disappointment. I purchased colossal shrimp. Do you know how many make up 100 grams? 4. That’s right 4 colossal shrimp = 100 grams. I was not happy! Again the mind. So next time I will get the tiny tiny shrimp to make it look like a huge amount on my plate.

5-31-07 5:15 am. Headache still raging on and down 3 more pounds!! Okay this hCG better start working or I am just doing Kimkins! This morning I decided to have an apple for breakfast, peeled of course. That seemed to abate my hunger a tad, but I had to take a nap to make it through to lunch as my head was killing me. I woke up at 1:00 and guess what? No hunger feelings and no headache! Now I can see myself doing this. I was even happier to have a 100 grams of chicken and salad for lunch! Dinner was crabmeat this time with asparagus.

My guess is I didn’t load enough on fat on my load days to keep the hunger feeling away. My fault!

6-1-07 4:45 am. No headache and down another 3 pounds! 9 pounds total in 3 diet days! Yeah Baby!

And today on 6-2-07 @ 6:00 am, total lost is 12 pounds! 12 pounds in 4 diet days! I know the weight lose will slow but IF I can lose like this for another day or 2 that would be FANTASTIC! Some people on our group list have lost 20 to 29 pounds during the first 2 week of their hCG diet. I would like to follow them.

My basic plan:

I spread my allowed foods thought the day so I am constantly eating something. I am a snacker so this is perfect.

I give myself my injection IM or SQ between 6:15 am and 7:15 am daily

I drink organic green tea and other non-organic teas by Celestial Seasonings . I’ve been drinking this tea since I was about 12 or 16 years old so I am not changing brands now.

I did not do any of the Kevin Trudeau cleanses or take any of the supplements he recommends. Matter of fact the only supplements I take are a multi vitamin and B-12 sublingual. The reason I bring this up is that people on the support list have complained that the diet is expensive if they go Trudeau’s route. I am saying you can get the same results without all that and make it more cost effective for you. My shots are costing me 1.67 per day.

Tips:

If you are buying your own hCG, buy it early as some places take forever and it may be confiscated.

If I was going to repurchase needles I would much rather have the smallest gauge and longest needle I could get rather in the insulin syringe. That would give me more choices for injection sites.

Yeah baby! I am going to start my hCG injections tomorrow.

I must say I had to think twice about pre-filling all 25 syringes. I really had no pace to store them all. I did pre-fill 2 and what I did was use my Starbucks coffee cup, it’s pretty tall and my hCG and my 2 syringes had plenty of room. Will not store anymore then 1 in there after today. Something could happen and then that is hCG down the drain.

I will write tomorrow about how I mix, what I did and what I eat as the first 3 days is about gorging on fatted foods.

Surprisingly it has been found that the body which may have been quite rigid starts experiencing a remarkable flexibility in even those parts which have not been consciously work upon. Why? It is here that the remarkable research behind yoga positions proves its mettle. Seemingly unrelated non strenuous yoga positions act upon certain parts of the body in an interrelated manner. When done together, they work in harmony to create a situation where flexibility is attained relatively easily.

Massaging of ALL Organs of the Body - yoga is perhaps the only form of activity which massages all the internal glands and organs of the body in a thorough manner, including those such as the prostate - that hardly get externally stimulated during our entire lifetime. Yoga acts in a wholesome manner on the various body parts. This stimulation and massage of the organs in turn benefits us by keeping away disease and providing a forewarning at the first possible instance of a likely onset of disease or disorder.

Complete Detoxification - by gently stretching muscles and joints as well as massaging the various organs, yoga ensures the optimum blood supply to various parts of the body. This helps in the flushing out of toxins from every nook and cranny as well as providing nourishment up to the last point. This leads to benefits such as delayed ageing, energy and a remarkable zest for life.

Excellent toning of the muscles - Muscles that have become flaccid, weak or sloth are stimulated repeatedly to shed excess flab and flaccidity.

PILATES:

Pilates (pronounced: puh-lah-teez) improves your mental and physical well-being, increases flexibility, and strengthens muscles. Pilates uses controlled movements in the form of mat exercises or equipment to tone and strengthen the body. For decades, it's been the exercise of choice for dancers and gymnasts (and now Hollywood actors), but it was originally used to rehabilitate bedridden or immobile patients during World War I.

Pilates is a body conditioning routine that seeks to build flexibility, strength, endurance, and coordination without adding muscle bulk. In addition, pilates increases circulation and helps to sculpt the body and strengthen the body's "core" or "powerhouse" (torso). People who do pilates regularly feel they have better posture, are less prone to injury, and experience better overall health.

Yes it was the Kevin Trudeau's book, that stirred the interest but it was my own research into hCG and Dr. Simeon, the discoverer of hCG for diet therapy, and how all this works that lead me to believe in hCG.

As most stories go, it was a chilly pre spring night I was up late flipping channels and came across Kevin Trudeau hocking yet another self published book. This time he was talking about a diet cure. I stayed and watched it as I thought he was reselling Dr. Atkins diet as years before he was a pitchman for low carb and selling books and tapes on the low carb diet. Well much to my surprise this had nothing to do with Atkins. Kevin Trudeau was talking about hCG as a diet cure. I immediately jumped out of bed and headed for the PC to see what good old KT was blabbering about.

What I found in the wee hours of searching was the original hCG diet group started by, my now good friend and yahoo chat buddy, Jeni. I also found a ton of posts and begun to read. I found a few web sites related to hCG and diet and read those, but when I e-mailed people in the group that was when I started to hit pay dirt on hCG, because I was getting user feedback, users who had marvelous results with hCG.

Jeni had done hCG 5 years ago and lost weight and she found the original manuscript by Dr. Simeon, "Pounds and Inches." What a find! That manuscript is what Kevin Trudeau based his book on and yes he added his own diet and nutrition beliefs, but Kevin Trudeau did not make this up! That to me was the important thing, it had research behind it. So I read the manuscript and the original diet guidelines and was just about set. Where does one get hCG from?

I was sick and tired of being fat and unhappy with my weight and self. I remember what I felt link when I lost weight on Atkins and I wanted that confidence back. So as I search the net for where to get hcg and the supplies from I came across another diet that I'm following now until my hCG arrives. It's Kimkins and it's a wonderful diet. I lost 15 pounds in 2 weeks and felt great. People have lost 100 pounds in as little as 5 months using Kimkins. So I did that pre hCG but unfortunately I can't be on a diet when hCG arrives so I'll have to eat more Atkins Style then follow the diet guidelines for hCG. So my goal is to maintain 10 of the 15 pounds I lost then use my hCG to lose the rest of my unwanted pounds and inches!

Health, better life, to get a life, kids, date, and the list goes on. My reason is no different then most, health and to keep up with my son and yes to be more attractive to myself. I hate being overweight. I do not look good in pictures, I hate the way clothes fit me, and I cannot wear the close I want to wear.

So, I decided this year would be the year to reach my goals once and for all, as I am sick and tired of living the life of a person overweight and unhappy with herself.

Here goes for the entire world to see my weight lose journey with Kimkims, hCG and finally my life long eating style of low carbing.

To get everyone who is reading this up to speed. I started Atkins back in 1997 and lost a great deal of weight and inches. I never reached goal but I was wearing a misses size 13/14 to 9/10 and feeling GREAT!! My life began to change along with my happiness at feeling good and looking good. I was basically following a low carb eating plan until I became pregnant in 2001 and gave birth to a healthy baby boy on May 13, 2002. I was also at my heaviest of 275. I did have a plan to go back on Atkins but I never really did. I kept fooling myself and not following it. I also went through a very depressing period in my life that did not help my emotional state.

So as my son was turning 5 this year (Today!!) and I wanted to be more active with him and go places with him as I know I avoid doing a lot of things I like due to my weight and I didn’t want to burden him with my issues I decided to just do it.

So one night while watching TV, Kevin Trudeo came on hocking yet another book. Now I’m not a huge fan of his, but I know he’s a reseller of other people information so I went to the net found his book. I read comments on Amazon about his book a few pages from his book. With that I did my own research into hCG for weight lose found some information and people who had used and were currently using it. I also posted to my favorite newsgroup but basically was thought to be a zealot and crazy for even thinking about hCG. This reaction to me was strange because this newsgroup was about alternative dieting! But a person did turn me on to Kimkins and I joined her site and followed her plan to before finally doing hCG.

Now that brings you and me current.
