What would you do if your the Network Marketing Co closed it’s doors after you spent all your time and money building a large organization that you thought would be your legacy to your children’s children. This has happened over and over again in this industry and sadly people don’t know about it until it happens and then they have to start over again from scratch.

What would you do? If you have developed strong relationships with your team where they Know, Like and Trust you then you will be blessed because they will be loyal to you. Because they trust your judgement they will follow you to the next company. What is the cost if you haven’t built those relationships? I think you know the answer.

Well, just go out there, take the time to nurture those relationships, build friendships that will last for a lifetime. You will be blessed beyond just securing your future. Whether your Co is around forever or not you will reap the benefits of truly helping your team and being a true leader.

Have with fun with it, just let it happen naturally, be real and authentic, laugh with them and cry with them, share your life stories with them. Stop and listen to what’s on their heart. Find out what matters to them, see where they are at so you can lift them up and empower them. Thus building a value based relationship of Know, Like and Trust.

This is a strategy that I work on daily and I find it very rewarding to know that I’m making a difference in peoples lives all around the world not just for today but for a lifetime.

Bob Berg states in his best seller “Endless Referrals” that “All things being equal, people will do business with, and refer business to, those people they Know, Like and Trust.”

Whether you love Google or love to hate Google, you have to admit one thing. Google offers a lot of free tools to use with the convenience of being able to access them with one login. Marketers in particular should take advantage of these tools to get more out of their search engine and social media marketing experience. The following are some of the top Google tools marketers should embrace from A to (almost) Z!

1. Google AdSense

Ever created a niche website for linking purposes, affiliate marketing, content development, or another reason that never panned out? If the website gets even a moderate amount of traffic, and you have no other use for it for the time being, why not earn a little income off of it using Google AdSense? By simply placing some ad code in the header, content, and sidebar of the website, you can earn some passive income. The amount you earn will depend on the topic of the website and the amount of visitors it receives.

2. Google AdWords

If you’re not getting good enough traction with organic search traffic, then you might want to consider a paid search campaign using Google AdWords. By bidding for the right keywords, you can gain a considerable amount of qualified traffic where the conversions will meet or exceed the value you pay for your ads. Be sure to use advanced targeting options for location, mobile or desktop browsers, and other criteria to get the target audience you want.

3. Google AdWords Keyword Tool

7. Google Blog Search

You may be wondering exactly what is so special about Google Blog Search that merits a mention as a powerful Google tool. It’s not necessarily the search itself, but the fact that you can turn the search results into an RSS feed. Why is this so great? If you take the following URL:

Then replace domain.com with your website, you can get an RSS feed of the latest links to your website on a blog.

You can use this to keep up with mentions of your website on blogs, or you can use this to keep up with your competitors. For example, if you are looking for guest posting opportunities, seeing what your competitors can get might lead you to some good places to submit to yourself.

8. Google Books

If you love reading, then Google Books can be a good place to go to find books online in all genres, some of which you can read for free. But from a marketing perspective, if you have a book, then you will want to get it listed on Google Books so that you can sell it to an even larger audience, especially now that Google is competing with iTunes and other online media retailers with their new Google Play store for music, books, movies, and Android apps.

9. Google Calendar

Want to keep up with important events in your daily schedule? Then Google Calendar is the answer. You can share your calendar with other users or even to the public and embed it onto your website. You can even set reminder alerts to be sent as a popup when you’re logged in to your Google account or via email. Use it to keep track of guest posting opportunities, Twitter chats, advertising expiration dates, editorial calendars, and much, much more.

10. Google Chrome

Google Voice allows you to create a phone number to make and receive phone calls and text. You can view your messages in an interface similar to your Gmail. It’s a good alternative if you don’t want to give out your office or cell phone number for particular contacts! Another cool little trick with Google Voice is that you can set up a Google Voice number specifically for tracking how effective your phone number placement on your website is. Every time someone calls in using your Google Voice number, you can count the calls in your Google Voice account. This will allow you to test the size, location and color of your website phone number.

24. Google Webmaster Tools

Google Webmaster Tools is another Google product that puts a large amount of valuable data at your fingertips. If you have already set up your website with Google Analytics, you can easily add it to Google Webmaster Tools to start learning the following.

Site Configuration – This section checks your website’s settings on the web, including preferred domain canonicalization, sitelinks, URL parameters, change of address, and users who have access.
Site Health – This section includes crawl errors, stats, blocked URLs, and malware alerts.
Site Traffic – This section includes search queries (aka, possibly some of the keywords omitted from Google Analytics thanks to the keyword not provided, links to your website (a comprehensive view of your backlink profile), internal links, and +1 reports. +1 reports tells you the search impact of results showing your website’s +1 count vs. without showing it, +1 activity on your website, and audience demographics.
Site Optimization – This section includes your sitemaps, HTML improvement suggestions, content keywords, and other resources.

Also, be sure to keep an eye on the Labs section at the end. It changes with new, experimental Google Webmaster Tools features. One Labs feature that I would like to see return is statistics on any pages for which you are the author using Google authorship.

25. Google (Owned) YouTube

Last, but not least, if you want to dominate the video market, then start with Google-owned YouTube. Not only will your video be available to YouTube’s millions upon millions of visitors, but it will also be on prime real estate for showing up in search results. Even if you can’t get your website on the first page of search results through traditional SEO, you might be able to get there with video! Working at Home Isn’t All Fun and Games

I enjoy telling people that I “work at home.” I can see that wistful look in their eyes, and I can hear it in their voices when they say, “That must be nice.” And then for about five minutes, they do a little daydreaming about what it would be like to “work at home.”I never explain to them about the measure of self-discipline it takes, and how great are the temptations to take a “break” and reorganize my sock drawer when I find myself faced with working on a project that is less than interesting (or worse yet, “not as profitable” as other projects). But why burst their bubble? Let them daydream awhile….

Working at home can be all the wonderful things that those people daydream about. Setting my own hours, working at my own pace (project deadlines permitting), running to the market at 1 o’clock on a Wednesday afternoon when there’s nobody at the store---these are just a few of the plusses of working at home. For parents (whether it is the mom or dad, or both working at home), being able to adjust their working schedule to school schedules, being able to take the kids to the orthodontist or to soccer practice, working at home is a definite plus. For people who don’t work at home and who want to work at home, it is probably hard to think of even one minus. But the fact of the matter is, the minuses do exist---in abundance.

It is not my purpose here to ruin all your hopes or plans to establish yourself as a work-at-homer. In fact, I do encourage you to follow that dream and be your own boss. However, I want you to take just a few minutes to take stock of your situation and once and for all decide if working at home really is in your best interest.

First, and obviously, you have to have a job skill that is amenable to the at-home environment. If you trim poodles on the weekend and think you can turn it into a full-time at-home business, then look around. Do you live in a two-bedroom apartment on the second floor and just do your neighbor’s poodle once a month (but you do it really well)? Or do you live in a four-bedroom ranch house with a three-car garage that can be made over into “Donna’s Clip Joint” and you live in an urban neighborhood where everyone has pets? And even if you do, what about all the permits that you will need? Will you be able to pursue this type of work at home, and do so legally?

The most applicable work-at-home job skills involve the use of a computer, the Internet, phone, fax, and other small business/office machines. You can hardly drive from home to the grocery store without seeing those signs nailed to telephone poles: “Got a Computer? Earn up to $2000 at home!” Of course, you can, but can you?

For the sake of argument, let’s presume then that you have a computer and an assortment of small business machines, and that you do indeed have some skill that you believe can be marketed. Let’s focus on you for a minute: Are you self-disciplined? Are you organized? Do you have the proper workspace where you can work undisturbed? Are you able to face a workday where you have no supervision or guidance? Can you work at home, day after day, without having the people contact that you would typically find “on the job”? When you have overlapping projects, will you be able to cope with the necessary prioritizing so that you get that time-critical job done on time without jeopardizing the next job in line?

The list of questions goes on. And this doesn’t begin to address the “what ifs” that go hand-in-hand with working at home. What if you don’t have any work this week? What if work doesn’t come in the week after that? What if you get sick and can’t finish a project on time? What if your client doesn’t pay you on time? What if your client doesn’t pay you at all?

Financial gurus recommend that we all should have three months’ wages tucked away in a “bail out” savings account so that in case of illness or work stoppage, we can “bail out” our sinking checking accounts and pay the bills, pay the rent, buy groceries. Let’s face it, how many of us really have three months’ salary bankrolled? Most of us are lucky if we have one month's salary in a demand savings account that’s hooked to our checking account that gets dipped into on a more regular basis than we’d like to admit. If that is the case, then are you really in a position where you can handle the uncertainties of establishing and maintaining a work-at-home business?

This isn’t to say that even if all these things are true, that you shouldn’t make the move to be your own boss and work at home. I’m a perfect example. When I made my move to start working at home, I was fortunate in that my husband was working full-time and earning “decent” money (not a fortune, not more than enough, but “enough”). He believed in me and gave me great support while I established my business. It took me more than five years to get to the point where I could count on having work just about every day (based on a five-day, 50-week “normal” annual work schedule). During that time, I had periods when I didn’t work for five weeks or more and times when the "check in the mail" was delayed or "lost." It took me over three years just to finally break the “one client” barrier (I now have several “regular” clients, along with the occasional client for whom I do one project). The point here is that I did it; I built my own at-home business, and I now think of myself as “successful.” I don’t earn a fortune, but I “make a living."

I don’t think that anyone could ever honestly tell you that there is one, no-fail method of how to become your own boss and establish a “successful” at-home business. The variables are endless and there is no way to provide you with a formula for how you go about setting yourself up as an entrepreneur. In the end, becoming successful and realizing your dream of working at home depends on you, and you alone. You must have a marketable skill; you need adequate workspace and supporting equipment; you must have the personal demeanor that lends itself to this type of work environment; and you must have confidence in yourself, as well as the support of those around you.

With these things, you can be a success. You’ll be able to tell people, “I work at home”…then stand back and watch them daydream.

BEWARE you could loose money !!!

I have been researching on how to start-up an online residual income for sometime. You always find that interesting business introduction, showing you how much money can be made, you can see the "proof" of income and you get captured into the moment, thinking "I can make this work for". But, the catch at the bottom of the page is always the same, there is a cost to gain access to that business opportunity and other hidden costs further on.

That was the way I ventured into a few opportunities in the past, thinking that the business is working for that person, so just plug into it and it will do the same for me as well. Sure, I will need to get to know how it works, complete the training, tweak a few things to drive traffic to that site to recruit leads, but that is acceptable. NOT! It's costing you a monthly subscription fee to stay in that business opportunity and your hoping to recruit a few leads to break even and to make it work. Yeah, the 1st month will be a loss, that might be acceptable, but what about the 2nd and 3rd month, how long can you continue.

I've burnt my fingers on a few of theses subscribed ventures, you follow the training and sometime it is over whelming, you battle to keep to the rules of simplicity, there are so many methods to chose from, nothing seems to be so simple as when you first read the introduction.

I unregistered from my last venture and started searching for the FREE opportunities and they are out there.

FREE, YES FREE, there are online businesses on the web that are prepared to give it away for free. They are prepared to give you the opportunity, to grow and work as a team. You might not cash in as much straight away, but you can eventually. Normally there are different registration options, from free to a higher entry option that will increase your income. YES there is no signup costs, no monthly subscriptions, no additional addons, no credit card numbers being requested and you can made money from them.

I've found one called the Better WebBuilder, please have a look at it. I'm going to apply my knowledge gained, follow the instructions given and see how many leads I can capture. Even if is takes 3 months before I can see a return, it will cost me nothing. If I do capture leads quicker than expected, I can then upgrade to the next registration level and make a higher residual income. Nothing to loose and everything to gain.
