Not to mention everything was FREE.

So CUTE!!

totally lucked out in the Santa, they switched right before it was our turn. So happy about it, cause the one before had a very large nose... And you could tell ours was a little nicer to the children and more willing to listen to there wish lists, because he was new on the clock.

They had some fun games and toys out for the kids to play with... oh how Gavin wished we could of brought that car track home.

Love that Smile! Just so happy!

Next stop was Barros Pizza for Good food and Good Company.

Ava December Dance Recital

noreply@blogger.com (Jamie) — Wed, 07 Dec 2011 00:13:00 +0000

December Recital

For this recital Ava performed 2 numbers

Broadway Baby and Popular

the first thing Ava said when she tried on her costume was...

"Do they really think someone on Broadway or Popular would wear this?!"

She wasn't a big fan of the costume, she said it was way too Puffy! but she loved the dances and the RED lipstick.

Here is one of her dances...

So i didn't record the first dance she did, I thought I was recording, but i didnt push the record button. So as soon as i can find someone that did record it I'll post it.
I'm so sad about it too, it was such a cute dance!

Fall Break—Utah

noreply@blogger.com (Jamie) — Wed, 16 Nov 2011 16:04:00 +0000

FALL BREAK

UTAH TRIP

In October Ava's school had a week off for Fall Break, so we headed up to UTAH. It's always fun to go see family... But of course we had a very BUSY week, trying to fit in everyone and everything into our trip.

So of the activities we got to do included....

•Lots of out door activities—kickball, basketball, park etc.

•My cousin Emily blessed her little girl— Lily May

•Lunch with Alyse and Alysen and all of our kids, 6 kids under the age of 5... it was a little crazy, but so fun seeing them all!

•Story Time at the Provo Library... for old time sake

•Vineyard Pumpkin patch with Family—a must go place every fall!

•Nate's Football Game, Gavin was in Heaven!

•Got to see Baby Mac!

•Tractor Ride at the Beesley's farm, So fun to get together with all the girls from High School!

•Took some Family Pictures, Thanks Brittany

•Shopping

•Awesome dinner with the Hyde's.

•Hogle Zoo with the Hyde's

•Went on a walk up the Canyon, Love Bridal Veil falls!

Love jacks face in this picture! very focused on his swinging!

Same photo op when i was a kid!

the pumpkin patch crew

Love this!

Bocce ball up at Hyde's

So happy we got to go to UTAH in the FALL! Best time of the year! everything was amazing.

Except for the driving part! We had terrible luck this trip, with 2 speeding tickets, and ava throwing up 7 times. When we go up for Christmas it better be better!

D-Backs Game with Papa Grande

noreply@blogger.com (Jamie) — Fri, 04 Nov 2011 18:20:00 +0000

For Papa Grande's Birthday he came down to AZ to visit and go to the D-Backs Game! They played San Francisco... we were pretty ticked they didn't pitch The Freak or The Beard! Would of been so cool to watch them pitch! Anyway it was an awesome game. D-backs won! It was so crazy to see how many fans were at the game. Usually not so busy, but not that night! Totally packed!

We loved going to the games this year! They did so good! We were really sad when they lost in the playoffs!

One of the kids favorites of course, is the kettle corn!

Loved this moment, just not the picture. It was fun walking behind them, cause they were dressed liked twins, with both kids on there shoulders, and talking about the game. Wish i could of gotten a better picture!

Anyway, Papa Grande hope you had a good birthday. Cause we really enjoyed it!

BIG Surf Water Park

noreply@blogger.com (Jamie) — Fri, 04 Nov 2011 18:18:00 +0000

So before the weather started to cool down we took the kids to

BIG SURF.

It's a Water Park that is right next to Ryan's work.

Of course when we got there i realized my camera battery was dead. So i only could get a few terrible pictures on my phone!

Some of the highlights of the day.

•There was hardly anyone there, I think because it was the end of the season and everyone is sick of swimming at that point.

•Ava loved going on Every Slide! Which totally surprised us!! Except for the ones that go like straight down, she wasn't tall enough.

•Instead of a wave pool like at 7 peaks, they have waves like at beach and we rented a boogie board. Ryan loved it, Ava did it once on Ryan's back, Gavin was so scared, and i would crash and eat it every time—Good times!

•Gavin hated everything about Big Surf, especially the waves, way too loud for the little one.

Anyway we had a lot of Fun, very happy that Ava's friend Mylie got to come with us and so Excited that Ava loved it.

Payson Labor Day Weekend

noreply@blogger.com (Jamie) — Thu, 06 Oct 2011 03:59:00 +0000

So for Labor Day this year we went up to

Payson, AZ.

Our Good Friend Melissa Pew grew up in Payson and her family still lives there. So we tagged along with them, to get away from the Heat!

We mostly spent our time outside, just cause we could. It was so nice to be able to go out without baking in the heat! The kids loved the little trampaline they had and their Dog. Gavin followed the dog everywhere!

Melissa's Dad took us shooting... so fun!

And we had to go to the Park. My kids have been dying to go to the park. Ava really wanted to practice pumping on the swings because at school if you dont know how to pump you can't go on the swings.

Like Ava's outfit? She found one of Melissa's old dance outfits and wore it the whole time.

We had a great time, filled with lots of good food and great people!

thanks again Dallin and Melissa for inviting us!

Bowling

noreply@blogger.com (Jamie) — Thu, 15 Sep 2011 04:26:00 +0000

Bowling

We haven't gone Bowling in Forever, I actually don't think Gavin has ever been!

So one weekend we decided to take the kids. And lets just say they LOVED it!

Gavin still asks everyday if we can go bowling.

When we first got there we didn't get Gavin Shoes, cause who really wants to wear those stinky dirty shoes! (Other than Ryan). But Gavin was freaking out wanting the "real Shoes" of course they didn't have his size, so he walked around like a clown, and loved every minute of it!

About half way through we decided to get the little ramp. Best invention ever! Cause the kids can do it by themselves, and it doesn't take 10 minutes for the ball to get to the pins!

Awesome picture. Gavin would not sit still for a minute. Way too much bowling to do!

Good Times!

Glad Dallin and Melissa wanted to join us, makes it a little bit more fun for me and Ryan.

D-Back with Pew

noreply@blogger.com (Jamie) — Thu, 15 Sep 2011 04:20:00 +0000

So we love going to Diamond Back games. Usually we take the kids with us cause they love it. But this time Ryan got the Good Seats from his work. Like 7th row good. So we decided to not take the kids with us cause they would want to be up at the Sandlot the whole time. Really glad Dallin and Melissa had nothing going on that night!

This restaurant is under the stadium by the DBacks locker room.

Awkward! Do you see my hand on Melissa. We all laughed forever after we took this. I didn't even realize I did it until after.

Ava Kindergarten— First Day!

noreply@blogger.com (Jamie) — Fri, 02 Sep 2011 05:19:00 +0000

Still can't believe it but our little Ava is in

KINDERGARTEN!!

not just in Kindergarten but all day kindergarten.

not sure if we like it. especially me and Gavin. Gavin gets very bored without her. All day he says "um sister come home." And I'm not sure if I can entertain Gavin all day by myself. Not to mention I hate that we have to get up at 6:30! I'm done with school why do i have to get up that early!

She looked so cute on the first day of school!

London got to go to Kindergarten too, but unfortunately they're not in the same class.

She did cry when they were lining up to go to their class. So I went over to her and said "Ava, thanks for Crying it makes mom feel so good." And then she laughed and she was all good!

And I may or may not have cried too!

I can't believe she is old enough to be in Kindergarten! I love this age. I ask her all the time if she will please stay 5 forever!

We sure do miss her while she is at school, but love hearing all her stories about school when she comes home everyday! She always has good ones.

Like one day she told us about how one of the boys in her class colored on her paper so i asked her if she cried (cause she usually does when Gavin does that) and she said "No, but i sure was breathing heavily!"

So cute! We're excited for this year. And I truly wish she could stay this age forever!

Hemet—Tibbitts!

noreply@blogger.com (Jamie) — Thu, 01 Sep 2011 04:28:00 +0000

Oh how we love that Hemet is on our way home From The Beach!
We love stopping to hang out with the

TIBBITTS!

We always have a fabulous time! We always have Fabulous Food! And we always miss them when we leave!
This time we enjoyed an Out Door movie, Shopping in Palm Springs, Games and Great Company!
thanks Again Tibbitts for Everything!

I love these kids!

Audrey is too cute and has the cutest i mean cutest Lisp. I could listen to her talk all day!
and Alex has the cutest most perfect freckles on his face. I really think they paint them on!

Beach Week 2011

noreply@blogger.com (Jamie) — Wed, 24 Aug 2011 17:08:00 +0000

Beach Week 2011
Was once again Wonderful.
The weather was great, the company was awesome.

Ava Boogie boarded for the first time.
She did very good the first couple of waves. But then she got taken down— and then she was done. The salty water was a pinch much for her.

Flying Ryan's kite. The kids always love it!

The kids LOVED Baby Mac! They always wanted to play with him and hold him.
And it was a way to get out of the wind.

Love this picture of Ava and London! What the crap are they doing?

One night we went out to watch the Sunset— These are some of the Pictures we got.

This is Ava and London. Getting them to jump at the same time was a joke.

Our little family.

#getsome

So cute!

First Annual
Beach Week 5k
This year was the first annual beach week 5K. It was so much fun. Such a great idea. Everyone loved it, It was a perfect excuse to get everyone out together one morning to exercise. And not to mention the good Breakfast we had at the end.
And I have to give a shout out to Ryan for WINNING!

At the end we had all the kids do a little race... It was so cute.
They loved it— you can see it all over Ava's face!

Oh yes, and Brittany took First for the Girls!
Don't think anyone will be able to beat her. She is fast.

1st place—Ryan
2nd Place—Dan
3rd Place—John
11th place— Jamie
(11th out of 35 is not bad for not running since April)

Thanks again for everyone who made the First Annual Beach Week 5K so amazing!

Love the Poses!

Corn Hole— entertained all of us.

Ryan in his Winning Tank Top!

The awesome sand castle we made. Mostly I just loved Ava's pose!

On Sunday After Church we tried to go take some Family Photos on the beach.
Didn't really work with the Wind and the Sun.
Why is it that Sunday is always the best day on the beach?

Thanks to Rob and Cindy for a Wonderful Beach Week!

All Star—FanFest

noreply@blogger.com (Jamie) — Mon, 25 Jul 2011 22:38:00 +0000

MLB All Star
Fan Fest
Was the best we could do to Celebrate the All star game in Arizona. There was no way we were gonna spend $350 a ticket for nose bleeds to the game or home run derby. So we decided to just go to Fan Fest. It's where they have tons of different baseball booths, free stuff, lots of stuff for the kids, Autographs by past players. Anyway there was a lot to see and do.

In line to do the Baseball Combine—they time you to see how fast you run around the bases, how fast you throw the ball etc...

Of course Ava will pose for me, and Gavin was to busy preparing mentally.
He took it very Seriously!

Even Ryan got to play!

Everything Gavin did, the workers would say "wow that kid is amazing for only being 2"
"He has such a great Arm" everyone was asking how old he was.
Most kids his age couldn't throw a ball, hit a ball or was as serious as Gavin was!

Coolest thing for Gavin—combine baseball with cars... couldn't be better!

Stealing bases

The Commissioner's Trophy
They had a lot of different trophies like the home run derby trophy, most stolen bases trophy etc.. but they were all in glass cases. But they had this one out so you could take pictures with it. But it was surround by guards. Making sure you don't touch it, break it, steal it whatever. So of course Ava had to touch it, and boy did those workers gasp, and say "don't touch it" like she was trying to steel it. Now Ava can always say she touched The Commissioner's Trophy !

Lots of Fun...
Maybe someday we'll be able to go to the All Star Game!

4th of July

noreply@blogger.com (Jamie) — Mon, 25 Jul 2011 04:40:00 +0000

(Ava's cute FLAG poster she made!)

4th of JULY
Was filled with lots of Swimming, Tacos, Fruit Pizza! Homemade Root beer and very sad to say NO fireworks! I know... Lame!

the 2 crazy kids!

My yummy Fruit Pizza!
Looks so Good... I think i need to make another one very SOON!

Eric made
Homemade Root Beer
with the kids! The kids loved it of course!
And it was way good... and very Slushy! Just the way I like it!

Happy 4th of July!

underwater camera

noreply@blogger.com (Jamie) — Mon, 25 Jul 2011 04:25:00 +0000

We didn't use all the pictures from our awesome
water camera
we got for the river. So we used the rest of the pictures at the pool with the kids.
Here are the ones that turned out.
enjoy!

Pretty AWESOME!

tubing salt river

noreply@blogger.com (Jamie) — Mon, 25 Jul 2011 04:15:00 +0000

The 4th of July Weekend Mimi, Papa and Rachel, Braden came to AZ to visit...So we had to find activities to do to stay cool.
Tubing the Salt River
happened to be one of them.
I have to say we were a little nervous at first. But it actually was really fun. It was a mixture of exciting, scary and relaxing.
Not everyone got to come— or wanted to come. the little kids being the ones who didn't get to come and Mimi being the one who didn't want to come.

Here are some of the Pictures we took with the cheap water camera we bought for this special occasion—hence how terrible they look.

Eric with his Awesome cut off Jeans!

Ryan with the tube holding the cooler.

Me with my awesome cold sore. Rachel and Braden in the background doing work.

Eric and Olivia

Next time we do it, we definitely need to tie our tubes together, we kept getting separated. Amy was by herself for the most part and rob kept joining other groups. I think cause they had better drinks then us!

Seth baseball tournament

noreply@blogger.com (Jamie) — Fri, 15 Jul 2011 00:47:00 +0000

A couple weeks after my family came to AZ to Visit. Seth came back to AZ for a
Baseball Tournament
It was so much fun being able to see Seth play...
The tournament was at Diablo Stadium (The stadium where the Angels play for Spring training)
Too bad it was 110 outside! It was so bad. As you can see in these pictures... we just look hot!

Love this picture!

One night he had a game at 7:30, and even with the sun down it was still SO hot! We were spraying the kids with water and had to take Gavin's shirt off. We didn't last long that game.

But even with all HEAT it was still so much fun having Seth so close to us. It was so much fun going to the games (they ended up taking 2nd in the tournament) going swimming and just being able to hang out with him.

mini golf

noreply@blogger.com (Jamie) — Fri, 15 Jul 2011 00:42:00 +0000

So a little bit ago we went with the Nielsen's
Miniature Golfing.
We went to Golf Land one night before it got really hot outside!
lets just say it was fun, a little crazy and not so much a serious round of golf.
OK it was serious for Gavin. He was the only one that really took it serious. Savvy probably knew that he was trying to be serious too, because she kept steeling his golf ball and running away with it. Made him so mad.

yeah, miniature golfing with with 5 kids and one of them being savvy was very interesting!

I don't know why i didn't take a lot of pictures... maybe cause it was hot outside and humid because of the water park right next to us, or maybe just trying to keep up with all the kids and trying to stay focused on my golf game—couldn't let Ryan beat me! (which he did-of course)
Very Fun... definitely have to go again—Because Gavin Loved it!

Real Cars

noreply@blogger.com (Jamie) — Sat, 09 Jul 2011 00:26:00 +0000

Cars, Cars and more Cars
is one of Gavin's obsessions right now.
He loves watching cars... ok he loves the beginning and the end of the movie. The middle of the movie is too boring for him. he only likes the "tar race" parts.
When the Real Cars came to AZ we had to go see them.

The Cars were at Tempe Market Place (an outdoor mall) so after we saw them we went and got something to eat and went into a few stores. when we walked into a store, i looked behind me and Ava and her friend Kate weren't behind us. i started to get a little worried, i walked outside the store yelling for them. Then i turned and what do i see in the store window...
Ava and Kate posing.
Of course that's where Ava would be!

I tried so hard to get Gavin to look at me to take a picture, but i got nothing. he only wanted to look at the cars! this was the best picture i got! So cute trying to look at me and the Cars!

PS. The car in his hand goes everywhere with him. It makes this loud noise when he rolls the car on the ground. It is so annoying! We've hidden it, purchased cars that don't make noise, and everything else you could think of to get rid of that loud, annoying car. It's still around.

dbacks with the fam

noreply@blogger.com (Jamie) — Wed, 06 Jul 2011 04:16:00 +0000

while my family was in AZ we had to go to a

dbacks game!

my family is a little obsessed with baseball. So they loved it!
now you know where Gavin gets it from!

The kids loved the all the All Star Game statues!

And my kids were very excited to see the Bobble Head guys—cause every game we've been to we always miss them.
I guess it's easy to see them when you're an hour early to the game!

"THE UNIT"

So during one of the innings we were walking around and right behind the jumbo tron/score board in the the outfield there is a little baseball field for kids to play on. Gavin loves it. So as he was playing one of the camera guys started filming him—Gavin made the jumbo screen the whole time in between the inning.
We didn't see it on the jumbo tron, cause we were behind it (but we saw it on a little tv). My grandparents stayed in their seats and they saw it.
I also got a picture of the TV screen that was by us.
and they kept replaying little clips of him the rest of the night.

While the camera guy was following him he was laughing the whole time. Gavin can run drills all day. They filmed him running the bases and sliding at home. Throwing the ball to Ryan and hitting it.

my family LOVED it.
They were in heaven. We even had to stay for the whole game (we never can) at least it was a close game and the dbacks ended of winning in the last inning!
Good times!
We had a lot of fun! We're so excited my family got to come visit us!

my family came to AZ

noreply@blogger.com (Jamie) — Wed, 06 Jul 2011 03:37:00 +0000

So right after school got out,
my family came to AZ to visit!
We were so excited to see them and to show them our AZ stomping grounds!
When they came the weather was great. Hot enough to go swimming during the day, but cool enough to go on bike rides to the park in the evening.

Cheetos BOY!
He loves Cheetos but hates the mess afterwards!

of course we had to go to Sonic (everyday) while my mom was in town!
D-Back games Photos to come

Ava Preschool Graduation!

noreply@blogger.com (Jamie) — Fri, 17 Jun 2011 05:30:00 +0000

I can't believe our
AVA MAY
Graduated from Preschool!
I can't believe how old she is getting... and I can't believe I'm gonna have a kid in Elementary School!

So at the little Graduation they sang some songs, they each got to come up and say some of there favorite things to do in school. And one of Ava's was "Working"... wow, I'm so proud!
Anyways, it was a very cute little program.

Thanks Mrs. Irene for making Ava's last year of Preschool So Amazing

KINDERGARTEN here we come!

Spring Singing Performance

noreply@blogger.com (Jamie) — Thu, 09 Jun 2011 05:44:00 +0000

So this spring Ava has been going to
That's Entertainment
singing and dance class.
She loves it, its right down her alley!
And in May they did there Performance. This spring was a Disney theme. And all the songs they performed were So cute!

(here are a few little clips)

And yes, when the performance was over, Gavin and Savvy couldn't wait to get up there and do their thing!

So cute! Love those two girls! So glad those two girls are so close!

dback game

noreply@blogger.com (Jamie) — Thu, 09 Jun 2011 05:36:00 +0000

Ever sense we took Gavin to the
dbacks game
for the first time, that's all he talks about...
"mom mom, daddy, go real baseball game"
So any chance we get, we go.

So we did have good seats, but we don't get to stay in them cause the whole time Gavin is trying to get down to the field to play "real baseball"

This time we even got to meet Baxter! That was Ava's favorite part.

Gavin went and stood by that and said "mom mom, cheese"

Love it when they open the roof!
