After reading blogs about the dollar bin at Michael's I thought I would take a look. I was disappointed because our Michael's didn't seem to have any Halloween stamps (boo-hoo). THEN! AT THE CHECKOUT! I spied the stamps!!!! Needless to say I picked up a couple...check them out! I am ready to stamp!

Altered Composition Book

I had a blast making this journal today. My daughter in law is great about sharing stories that Levon (My grandson) says or does. I want to have a place to write them down. Maybe someday he will sit down and have a laugh or two.
I used Stampin Up paper (Beate's candy!). Offray blue ribbon and Daisy D embellishments. To initially adhere the paper, I ran it through my Xron sticker maker. After all paper was set I used Mod Podge to bond the paper together. When it was dry I added buttons, jewels and ribbon!

The Stamping Hours

When all I can hear is the hum of the computer and the whirl of the fan, I find myself most productive/creative. Right now my desktop is so cluttered with a modge podge of supplies, but I am having a blast. The computer in my stampin room is really my daughters, so I can't upload my latest cards. I just wanted to share this peaceful fun moment! Happy Monday morning...12:55.

My husbands co-worker was retiring, so I used this flamingo stamp that I got from the $ bin at Michaels. I colored it with Prisma pencils and used card stock and ribbon. It was a quick card.

I Got Mail! Stamp Mail!

My sister and a her friend came by on Saturday and we stamped the afternoon away! It was a lot of fun. The card below was stamped with a Stampin Up set. I used a single giraffe stamp, but honestly can not remember the name of the set.

Well, the mail carrier was kind to me this week! I got my MFT stamps! They are fun! I used the piecing technique to make my first card and I think it turned out ok, I like the depth it adds.

I love my Voila set by Stampin Up! I wanted to play with it a little bit so I stamped the image on printed paper, the tray I stamped on sparkle paper. I didn't like the face so I added a picture of my sister! The sentiment is:
