After much consideration I finally caved and bought the Naked Basics Palette, I already own the the UB Naked Palette and I love it and use it often but sometimes I feel during the day it is better to use matte eyeshadow. So I just recently bought two Guerlain Rouge G lipsticks, one from their permanent collection and one from their newest collection. I bought Nr. 860 Madame Batifole (LE) and Nr. 62 Georgia. After posting about my brushes wishlist I also wanted to post about the brushes that I use everyday. And also do an update on the brushes I barely use.  Let's start with the face brushes I most often use. These are my MAC 130 for applying foundation or bb cream, my MAC 187 for blush and Samantha Chapman multitask brush for powder. When I use bronzer I use my Hakuhodo S103.

From MAC Year of the Snake Collection I got one lipstick in Plumful and one eye shadow in the shade Once Upon a Time.  The lipstick I have been using constantly, the shade goes really well with my complexion. I recently bought Clinique Airbrush Concealer in the shade 04 Neutral Fair and I have to say it is hands down the best under eye concealer I have ever tried. It blends beautifully and doesn't crease, even if you use too much product. It just brightens the under eye area, I love it. I have been using it for over a month

These are some purchases from last year. I got the stippling brush and shading brush by Samantha Chapman from Love Make Up - I prefer using my MAC 130 instead of the stippling brush. The shading brush is great for using with concealer or for under the lash line shading. Last Spring I was inspired to start trying making my own nail art. I searched on Youtube for some tutorials on how to make them, my inspiration video came from Cutenails. Her best video by far was this one showing me how to do different petals. After viewing these videos I went on eBay and bought a nail art brush set. After some training on a plastic plate I was able to do my first flower.

Last weekend I decided to start watching Revenge after reading reviews and hearing from friends that it is a great show. I watched the first 12 episodes over the weekend and I have to say I am in love with this show. This has become my guilty pleasure. Nolan is by far my favorite character. This collection is rather large but I only bought three things. This collection has a lot of bronzers in it but I love my Guerlain bronzer too much so I will stick to it and that is why I skipped all the bronzing products.
