While the birds kept on attacking Nat thought of a plan on how to kill the birds and make them retreat. He told his wife and kids to stay inside. He went into the tank and opened the door that lead to the outside. There were thousands of birds in the air and on the ground. He stooped for a moment and put full speed and ran over as many birds as he can. He fired into the sky taking out half of the birds at a time. All the birds can do it attack the tank but that didn't do any harm. As the birds backed of Nat went back into the room to see if his family was OK. They were frightened by all the loud noise outside. Nat took a Missile Launcher and took his family outside. There was only one cloud of birds left. He fired into the birds and killed most of them. From that point the surviving birds flew away separate ways like they retreated. All the people from the other houses came out and started cheering. From that point Nat became a hero, and humans and birds lived in peace. Until 10 years after the attack the birds rejoined and perished

mankind off earth and became the true rulers of earth.

Independence Day, commonly known as the Fourth of July, is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain.Every day thousands leave their homeland to come to the “land of the free and the home of the brave” so they can begin their American Dream.
The United States is truly a diverse nation made up of dynamic people. Each year on July 4, Americans celebrate that freedom and independence with barbecues, picnics, and family gatherings.The first Independence Day was celebrated on July 8, 1776: Although the Declaration of Independence was approved on July 4, 1776, it was not made public until July 8. According to www.pueblo.gsa.gov, the bells of Philadelphia—the Liberty Bell included—rang to summon citizens to Independence Hall for the very first public reading of the document on July 8.
The Declaration of Independence was read that day by Col. John Nixon, who, less than a year later, would be made a brigadier general of the Continental Army.
“We, therefore, the representatives of the United States of America, in general congress, assembled appealing to the Supreme Judge of the World for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the name, and by authority of the good people of these colonies, solemnly publish and declare, that these United Colonies are, and of right ought to be, free and independent states; that they are absolved from all allegiance to the British crown, and that all political connection between them and the state of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as free and independent states, they have full power to levy war, conclude peace, contract alliances, establish commerce, and to do all other acts and things which independent states may of right do. Merry Christmas

For as long as I can remember I have known what I wanted to do with my life. Science has always been a passion of mine, and medicine in particular has interested me for some time. Dedicating my life to improving the lives of others is very appealing to me. After Michigan State, I plan on advancing to medical school to become a physician. I believe this program will offer me valuable skills that cannot be taught in the classroom.

Throughout high school and college thus far I have taken a rigorous curriculum and maintained a 4.0 grade point average. During high school I was involved in a physician shadowing program called medical mentor ship. In addition, I volunteered at Sparrow Hospital this fall in patient transport. I am very familiar with and comfortable in clinical settings. I am responsible, focused, hard working and easy to get along with. I participated in a Freshman Study Abroad program this summer and thoroughly enjoyed it. Studying in a foreign country was an experience unlike any I’ve had. The classes were challenging and thought provoking. The city was breathtaking and I met many friends who I still keep in touch with.

Although I plan on practicing medicine in the United States, I believe that studying the differences between the British health care system and that of the United States would benefit me a great deal in the future. It would be a valuable opportunity for me to shadow a British physician, and compare that experience to the clinical exposure I’ve had in the United States. By participating in this program I hope to eventually combine the best of both worlds into my medical education and eventual practice. I plan to learn valuable skills that will one day make me a better doctor.
