CAT 2008 solutions and My CAT experience

I received a SMS from one of my friend today:
"today is the day when your dream can come true,Best of luck buddy".

yeah,today was the D-day.today 16th Nov 2008 was the day when about 350,000 students
try their luck in one of the toughest exam in the world-CAT,short form of Common Admission test.CAT is conducted by prestigious Business-school's Called as Indian Institute of Management(IIMs)every year. Only Handful of students who get the Call from respective IIMs,prepare for the next hurdle i.e. Group discussion and Personal Interview.

Well,i got up at 6:30 in the morning and as usual hooked up with internet.I wanted to give CAT just for my experience,i was never serious for the toughest Exam in the world.While surfing internet in morning,SMS's Started pouring in my mobile.They were Simple SMSs-wishing me best of luck in the CAT 2008 exam.Then i realized that today is The D-day for thousand of aspirants.

After SMS,it was the time for Calls.I started getting calls from my "GOOD" friend(GF)
and others.

After a light breakfast, i reached at my examination center @ 9:40 sharp.The atmosphere in front of my examination center was tense.The parents were more anxious than their wards.The atmosphere was same as that when i gave my IIT/AIEEE exam few years back. There was no space for parking my bike.Breaking all road rules,Car were parked on the road.

When i reached in the designated Classroom,I couldn't stop myself from looking at a girl who was sitting in front row.She was nervous. clearing CAT was matter Of life and death for her.She must had prepared for the whole year,must had took coaching from the best coaching institutes(who sell dreams) in India.Contrary to this,a guy and girl who were sitting behind me,were busy in building a "NEW" relation.The whole class was numb,but both of them didn't cared for it.As usual girl was laughing at any sentence which this guy spoke.It was a good experience.

Ok..AT 10:30 sharp,our exam started.And the surprise in 2008 CAT was the question distribution.

English:40 questions

The English section had 4 Reading comprehension(RC). i Loved the one which started with
the Ice-cream of 2 and 4 cents.

I won't be writing what i did in the Exam and how i attemted the paper. I don't want to tell the secret behind my failure in not getting even one call from IIMS.Also everyone around you must be telling you about how he/she attempted the paper,so no point in telling the same story again.

Well,The whole Buzz about CAT,ends in the classroom.YOu feel that CAT is just like another
exam.Its not a matter of how much you have prepared throughout the year,how many Mock-CAT's you have given earlier,in which coaching institute you took the coaching.

IT all depends on your "attitude". You just need to focus for 150 minutes(2:30 hours) to clear this exam.Also time management is the crucial thing,as there is sectional cut-off.

For next year CAT aspirants:dont join any coaching institute, they are making profit while selling your dreams.What you need is right "attitude".no need for giving hundreds of Mock tests or solving thousands of questions.It just your "raw" intelligence which is tested in CAT.

I am feeling disheartened today. this is because i am not doing what i wanted to do.
I dont want to please anybody,but at this moment, i am doing so.I am trying to please my college friend. i am not what i am.
I need a identity,i want to do what i think is best for me and others.I need a sense of confidence in me. My decisions should be mine only,they should not be influenced by
any other person.
i am feeling low today.
I should achieve what i always wanted to.

The story of a Army officer

hi guys, i love to talk to and about people of different economic positions,different color,different religion. If i find someone quite interesting,different from the normal people,i write a blog post about him/her.

I tried never to make it a sob-story.But in the end,it does becomes the one.:)
Also I try not to exaggerate the real story. i keep it simple and stupid(KISS):)

Here is a story of any Young Army officer who is serving Indian Army from last 10 years.He is designated as the captain in the army.I met him in one of the army hospitals here.

SCHOOLING
This Army man,as he was telling me, was pretty naughty when he was a kid.He was the topper in his class till his high school.He had the look and intelligence to please any girl.He told me that a girl proposed him when he was in 9th grade.instead of accepting her proposal,he slapped her!
He was the kind-of-DON of the school,even his seniors used to fear from him.So you now must have an idea of what kind of guy he is.

Induction into Indian Army
He became serious about his career when he was in 11th grade.He studied all the books of the 11th grade as well as those of 12th grade.That means he completed 2 years syllabus in one year only.
When he got to 12th grade,he simply started preparing for His NDA(national defence academy) exam.NDA is a National lavel entrance examination which is conducted twice in a year.The guys( no girls) who clear this exam go for a medical and fitness test and subsequently joins Indian Army.
This guy prepared for the entrance exam for whole year.As he told me,there were 120 questions in the Question paper,and he correctly attempted 116 of them.
WOW!
116 out of 120 were correct!

THE ARMY LIFE

He did his training at NDA,Pune.The training was hectic.But it was life worth living it.After doing training,he was finally inducted into Indian Army.A dream came true.He joined as lieutenant in Indian Army.He got the choice to fulfill all his dreams in Indian Army.He learned did boxing for 4 years.Did Engineering in 1st few years in Indian Army.Did all the things he ever wanted to do.He was happy,because he was doing what we desired.

THE FALL
After 6 years of job in Indian Army,he decided to do COMMANDO training in IndianArmy.Commando training is the toughest in whole Army.You have to be perfect in every sphere,be it Physical fitness or mental fitness.The training is the one of the worst.There is no margin for error.Even if you do a small mistake in training,you are definitely out from the job.Unfortunately,he committed a mistake in the training.

While learning jungle-warfare,he mistakenly fell from 20 meters of height.He was wearing a helmet on his head,which saved him.Else he would had been died now.But he broke his spinal cord.His right side of the body got paralyzed.He was transferred to a big Army hospital.From Army hospital,he was transferred to operation theater within minutes. Doctors started his emergency operation.They gave him anesthesia only in such a amount so that he remains awake but feel no pain.

He told me that when doctors made 1st cut on lower part of his spinal cord.One of the doctor said:
"Oh shit! we cut in the wrong region".
They again made a cut,this time in the right part of the body and operated on him.

THE LIFE AFTER

The life after the operation is certainly not pleasant,he has to go to see doctor once in a month.Doctors gave him 18 medicine for one meal,which makes 54 medicines per day.Still he enjoys life.still he is naughty.still he lives his life king size.

How you can celebrate small things in life?
Everyone is running for money and fame.Even i am forgetting the small things which used to bring happiness in my life when i was a kid.But, when we grow up, we want money,fame,babes around us etc.But we miss you we are. We miss the things we used to do when we were kids.

I met this guy when i went for my summer holidays in Shimla.He sell the thing(dont know what it is called :p),may be some kind of sweet.According to his friends,He works till 10 in night & goes home only when he sold out every piece of sweet.

When i talked do to me,for few minutes,I realized that he is married and has a small kid.And this mysterious smile( see pic) is due to the fact that its his kids birthday.i made him comfortable.After few minutes of talk,i asked him how he is going to celebrate his kids birthday.He smiled and said:

"babu ji(sir), i am poor.I earn only Rs 40/- (less than $1) per day.We live a
simple life.For my kid birthday, i am planning to arrange a stereo system in evening.
I will borrow stereo system from my neighbor".
I didn't asked what his neighbor does for living.I just wanted to hear about his plansfor his kids birthday.

he carried on.

"Also i am thinking of buying the baloons and a dress for my kid.I am saving from
last month and now i am having about 500 bucks($10).With this money i can give a
dress to my kid".

I was mesmerized.A guy with such a small earning still was happy to celebrate his kids birthday.My friends spend thousands of bucks giving Birthday parties.Booze is themantra in these parties.People who even dont know the birthday guy,come to the party.Still,when you ask them as how was your birthday?

They will reply with a sad face.

"My parents forgot to wish me on my birthday".

Story of an Indian: Home among strangers

S SOON as the news of Assam serial blasts flashed on television Aziz was terrified. He shut the doors, slammed the windows and called up his sister, Afsana, who was in her office at that time. “While returning, don’t put the scarf over your head, and please don’t tell ’Assalam Alaikum’ first if anyone calls you on your mobile,” Aziz instructed Afsana.

Aziz was scared of his community being attacked again. He lives in a rented flat in North Delhi, along with his sister and his 65-year-old widowed mother. Aziz was associated with a renowned multinational company in Delhi. But he lost his job after serial blasts rocked Delhi on September 13, 2008. He was sacked from his office on ’behavioural ground’ just five days after the blasts. He found everything changed in his surroundings after the blasts. Those who were once amicable to him, turned hostile overnight. Even the grocer, who used to provide him the monthly ration on credit, refused to give more. But Aziz did not complain to anyone. “It is my fate,” he said in despair, “because I am a Muslim.”

Afsana was also scared of being fired from her company. She had graduated from a college under Delhi University in commerce stream and is presently working as a tax consultant in a financial firm. “Though I have not yet faced any kind of negative attitude from anyone in my office, but I am afraid of being fired anytime,” Afsana’s voice trembled when she spoke these words. Afsana is scared after she has found her brother jobless since the last one month.

The blast rocked Assam on Thursday (October 30), but why were Aziz and his family afraid? Assam is more than a thousand kilometres from Delhi, then why were Aziz and Afsana scared? “Because we are suspected first, whenever there is any news of blasts anywhere in the country, people point their fingers first at us, though even Hindus were involved in the recent blasts, in Malegaon,” said Aziz.

Why are only Muslims suspected behind every blast? “Because some of our brothers, being misled by some ’mullahs’ started their so-called ’jihad’ long ago, in which the innocent Muslims are getting burnt every day,” Aziz said, “but we are not responsible for that, we even do not know what is the ideal of a jehadi.

From my childhood days, I have been hearing that Islam does not preach extremism, Islam speaks for peace and brotherhood, and I believe the same.”

Still his neighbours, his fellow countrymen, pelted stones at the windows of his flat, looked at him with hatred in their eyes and denied him his place in the mainstream. “Is being a Muslim a curse in India?” Aziz asked in a sobbing voice. “Believe us, we are not terrorists, we also like to have a terror-free India, a green and peaceful India like others. But when we speak the same, people don’t believe us.”

Aziz is scared of his identity, his existence. But Aziz is an Indian, who loves India even after facing such humiliation everyday. That’s why he said, “Where shall I go? It is my Hindustan, my jannat.” Probably, one day Aziz would find his jannat down here.

This was the reply of my Business Environment teacher.We were attending our Business Environment lecture Today morning.A student Interrupted the proceeding of the lecture and asked a simple question.

Who is responsible for the Current Economic crisis all over the world?
Our Lecturer Answer was simple and straight-forward
"The CEO's of the biggest companies in USA.Hang them till death".

His statement has made me inquisitive. I have also started a discussion On blogcatalog.I am not into Business and Economics. I am an Engineering Student,but Business fundas Has always Interested me.

what's the reason for Economic crisis and recession?
Most probably,the concept that Americans and people of other developed countries follow.The concept is: "Earn more and spend more.Save nothing."
This concept of Americans has left various companies on the verge of Bankruptancy.
people in America use credit cards for every purchase they make and spend lavishly.Now if the "demand is moreThan supply",it will certainly lead to the crisis like what is happening today.

I am still looking for more reasons for this crisis,if anyone of my readers can explainin simple language then it will be helpful to me as well all the inquisitive people out there.

PS:the reason given above may be absurd. :) but lets discuss and find out the right reason.

Have you seen the Frankfin airhostess Institute Ad which says " mein alag thi,mein udna
chahti thi(i was different,i wanted to fly)"?

Now i realised all those dreams which a air-hostess training company claims is a illusion.
In real life you have to struggle to achieve small success.The sacking of the cabin-crew
by Jet airways is a fantastic example of this fact.

Jet airways who sacked 1000 employees yesterday,has certainly made the intentions of
the Industry clear. Either be the best or get sacked.In this time of financial crisis
in every industry in India and abroad,only a smart person can keep his job intact.He
should be smart in his work,must flatter his boss and keep him happy.

These are difficult times for Indian aviation. Airfares are going up, passenger load factor
is coming down, and every airline is losing money. Unless airlines take some bold steps
carrying on may be difficult.so in this context,sacking of employees is justified.

but more than that i would like to emphasize on one point: why air-hostess/crew
training companies sell false dreams?Why they are playing with the careers of young people?
They show in newspaper Ads that Indian Aviation industry needs 1000's of employees and
their is shortfall of the skilled people in Indian Aviation Industry.Why they don't
tell freshers about the incidents and risks involved in this industry?

Its true that everyone is different and wants to fly.But don't sell false dreams.

summer of '69 TO sambhar of '69(sorry bryan Adams)

I had my first real six rupees,
stole it from my father's pants.
went to a madrasi hotel,
to eat the sambhar of 69.
Me and some kadke dost,

had it all and we caught bukhaar,
jimy puked, joey got ulcers,
and Bagga ne maari dakar.

Oh when I went back there now,
the food was as stale as ever,
and though it was 1999,
still the sambhar was being served over there,

that was the worst food of my life.

Therez no use in complaining,
when you got no other place to eat,
rushed in the evening to the doctors clinic, but he too was at the toilet seat, yeah

standing there waiting outside,
nurse told me I will wait forever,
oh and when I held my breath,
I knew that I had to use that loo there
That was the worst food of my life.

Back to the sambhar of 69.

Man I was getting killed,

The financial crisis is likely to diminish the status of the United States as the world's only superpower.

On the practical level, the US is already stretched militarily, in Afghanistan and Iraq, and is now stretched financially.

On the philosophical level, it will be harder for it to argue in favour of its free market ideas, if its own markets have collapsed.

Pivotal moment?

Some see this as a pivotal moment.

The political philosopher John Gray, who recently retired as a professor at the London School of Economics, wrote in the London paper The Observer: "Here is a historic geopolitical shift, in which the balance of power in the world is being altered irrevocably.

"The era of American global leadership, reaching back to the Second World War, is over... The American free-market creed has self-destructed while countries that retained overall control of markets have been vindicated."

"In a change as far-reaching in its implications as the fall of the Soviet Union, an entire model of government and the economy has collapsed.

The director of a leading British think-tank Chatham House, Dr Robin Niblett, who has worked on both sides of the Atlantic, remarked that, at a recent conference he attended in Berlin, an American who called for continued US leadership was met with a new scepticism.

"The US is seen as declining relatively and there has been an enormous acceleration in this perfect storm of perception in the waning days of the Bush administration. Why is the media here so negative?

Why are we in India so embarrassed to recognize our own strengths, our achievements?

We are such a great nation. We have so many amazing success stories but we refuse acknowledge them--- Why?

· We are the first in milk production.

· We are number one in Remote sensing satellites.

· We are the second largest producer of wheat.

· We are the second largest producer of rice.

· Look at Dr. Sudarshan, he has transferred the tribal village into a self-sustaining, self-driving unit.

There are millions of such achievements but our media is only obsessed in the bad news and failures and disasters.

I was in Tel Aviv once and I was reading the Israeli newspaper. It was the day after a lot of attacks and bombardments and deaths had taken place. The Hamas had struck. But the front page of the newspaper had the picture of a Jewish gentleman who in five years had transformed his desert into an orchid and a granary. It was this inspiring picture that everyone woke up to. The gory details of killings, bombardments, deaths, were inside in the newspaper, buried among other news.

In India we only read about death, sickness, terrorism, crime.

Why are we so NEGATIVE?

Another question: Why are we, as a nation so obsessed with foreign things? We want foreign T. Vs, we want foreign shirts. We want foreign technology.

Why this obsession with everything imported. Do we not realize that self-respect comes with self-reliance? I was in Hyderabad giving this lecture, when a 14 year old girl asked me for my autograph. I asked her what her goal in life is. She replied: I want to live in a developed India. For her, you and I will have to build this developed India. You must proclaim. India is not an under-developed nation; it is a highly developed nation.

Do you have 10 minutes? Allow me to come back with a vengeance.

Got 10 minutes for your country? If yes, then read; otherwise, choice is yours.

YOU say that our government is inefficient.

YOU say that our laws are too old.

YOU say that the municipality does not pick up the garbage.

YOU say that the phones don't work; the railways are a joke,

The airline is the worst in the world, mails never reach their destination.

YOU say that our country has been fed to the dogs and is the absolute pits.

YOU would not dare to buy an employee of the telephone exchange in London at 10 pounds ( Rs.650) a month to, 'see to it that my STD and ISD calls are billed to someone else.'

YOU would not dare to speed beyond 55 mph (88 km/h) in Washington and then tell the traffic cop,'Jaanta hai main kaun hoon (Do you know who I am?). I am so and so's son. Take your two bucks and get lost.'

YOU wouldn't chuck an empty coconut shell anywhere other than the garbage pail on the beaches in Australia and New Zealand

Why don't YOU spit Paan on the streets of Tokyo? Why don't YOU use examination jockeys or buy fake certificates in Boston??? We are still talking of the same YOU.

YOU who can respect and conform to a foreign system in other countries but cannot in your own. You who will throw papers and cigarettes on the road the moment you touch Indian ground. If you can be an involved and appreciative citizen in an alien country, why cannot you be the same here in India?

Once in an interview, the famous Ex-municipal commissioner of Bombay, Mr. Tinaikar, had a point to make. 'Rich people's dogs are walked on the streets to leave their affluent droppings all over the place,' he said. 'And then the same people turn around to criticize and blame the authorities for inefficiency and dirty pavements. What do they expect the officers to do? Go down with a broom every time their dog feels the pressure in his bowels? In America every dog owner has to clean up after his pet has done the job. Same in Japan. Will the Indian citizen do that here?' He's right. We go to the polls to choose a government and after that forfeit all responsibility.

We sit back wanting to be pampered and expect the government to do everything for us whilst our contribution is totally negative. We expect the government to clean up but we are not going to stop chucking garbage all over the place nor are we going to stop to pick a up a stray piece of paper and throw it in the bin.

We expect the railways to provide clean bathrooms but we are not going to learn the proper use of bathrooms.

We want Indian Airlines and Air India to provide the best of food and toiletries but we are not going to stop pilfering at the least opportunity.

This applies even to the staff who is known not to pass on the service to the public. When it comes to burning social issues like those related to women, dowry, girl child! and others, we make loud drawing room protestations and continue to do the reverse at home. Our excuse?

'It's the whole system which has to change, how will it matter if I alone forego my sons' rights to a dowry.' So who's going to change the system? What does a system consist of? Very conveniently for us it consists of our neighbours, other households, other cities, other communities and the government. But definitely not me and YOU.

When it comes to us actually making a positive contribution to the system we lock ourselves along with our families into a safe cocoon and look into the distance at countries far away and wait for a Mr. Clean to come along & work miracles for us with a majestic sweep of his hand or we leave the country and run away. Like lazy cowards hounded by our fears we run to America to bask in their glory and praise their system. When New York becomes insecure we run to England. When England experiences unemployment, we take the next flight out to the Gulf. When the Gulf is war struck, we demand to be rescued and brought home by the Indian government. Everybody is out to abuse and rape the country. Nobody thinks of feeding the system. Our conscience is mortgaged to money.

Dear Indians, The article is highly thought inductive, calls for a great deal of introspection and pricks one's conscience too.... I am echoing J. F. Kennedy's words to his fellow Americans to relate to Indians.....

few days back I went to barber shop for cutting of my rampant hairs. As usual in small Indian barber shops(didn’t had money to go to saloon),you ll find a fan which is slower than that of speed of snail and an old color TV which silently cry for it’s state.

As the barber started cutting my hairs, news flashed on the Television about arresting of mastermind of Delhi Bomb Blast (sept 2008). Even though reporter of the particular news channel didn’t mentioned the name of alleged terrorist, people started talking in barber shop like ‘he must be Muslim’,’ all Muslims are like these only’, ‘throw-out all Muslims from the country’ etc..

It’s true that common people in India are wary about a Muslim Guy sitting next to him/her & this mistrust is growing with every terrorist attack in India. Till few years back, our prime minister used to claim that there is no single India (Muslim) who is involved in any terrorist attack in any part of the world. But After attack by an Indian on hathrew(spelling mistake) airport In UK in 2007,who rammed his car into the entry gate of the airport, it became clear that Various terrorist organization like Al-quida,Lashkar-e-toiba were able to establish there presence in Indian sub-continent.

The new face of Indian Terrorism was clear with the attack in Mumbai in 2007 and presently the serial blasts in delhi.These terrorists are not poor people. These are the Engineers, doctors, lawyers who are in their mid 20’s.

So why Young Indian Muslims are taking the path of terrorism?

Gujarat riots: I still regret what happened in Gujarat in 2002.Few people burned a boggy of the train. In return of that, Government eliminated all people of a community (Muslim) in its state. The face of the Muslim guy who made headlines in all national and international dailies still reminds us the horrifying affairs of the Gujarat state at that time. All this really hurt the Muslim community and now they are seeking revenge.

Poor economic condition: majority of the Muslims are still poor. The economic reforms in India have not affected them exponentially. Also the literacy rate among Muslim community is very low.

Polarization of society: various groups are dividing India. Bajrang dal,VHP are the front-runners. So when one doesn’t feel secure in its own home, he ll make attempts to break that home into pieces.

I don’t think any of the attacks in India are part of Jihad against Western countries. It’s the frustration of the young Indian Muslims who are not getting a job, are isolated from the society & are living in constant fear.

I always wondered why girls want to know what other person is saying about them in the college. Even though they are attending lecture in the classroom,their ears like sniffer dogs,remain intact with the voice coming from various parts of the classroom.And whenever a signal which contains any reference to them,reaches to them,their ears would work 10 times more so as to get the all the information which is going through behind them.

I realised that this is not a matter of the lecture room,Even in Ordinary life, girls and women alike wants to know about all the chit-chat going behind them.

So what has led to this awesome phenomenon called Eavesdropping?

I am not Into human behaviour or pshycology.so guessing the right answer Is quite impossible.

Well,probably woman is a beatiful creature by god.And when each and every womam try to prove how beautiful she is,then it becomes a problem.Each one wants to know about the latest cosmetic that is in use.

This also raises various question in girls mind:

Why other girl is looking more beautiful today?
What she is wearing and how it is makes her glow?

There's a simple reason that most people in India who have iPhones are sticking with an "unlocked" first-generation model bought from a U.S. source instead of one obtained for a higher price from Vodafone Essar or Bharti Airtel, which started offering the 3G version in India on Aug. 22.

but,Buying a legal phone, though locked to the operator, now gives him the benefits of a warranty, bug fixes, and the opportunity to download from Apple's App Store without having to use a friend's or relation's U.S. credit card.

the launch of the iPhone 3G was flawed from the start, with scant understanding of the price sensitivity of the local market. The iPhone 3G was launched in India without 3G networks in operation in the country, without access to music and video downloads through Apple's iTunes, and at a hefty price, raising doubts as to whether the product can take off in the country.

Estimates of sales of the iPhone 3G in India range from 1,500 units to about 5,000 units, which, in any case, is low for a country that had 296 million mobile connections at the end of July and is adding over 8 million new subscribers a month.

A Wednesday:Movie Review

It's been a long time since i watched a nice hindi movie."A wednesday" simply rocks! It was better than much-hyped Rock On! Withno songs,no old love stories,"A wednesday" matches my taste!

Also i watched this movie on Sunday afternoon and in evening of that fateful day,serial bomb-blasts in Delhi took place.

"A wednesday" is a movie about terrorism and common man.How common man innovates an idea of dealing with the terrorism when Our Government fails.Its a great movie,with lots of twists.But, i didn't like the ending of the movie.Why the hell,every bollywood movie should have an happy ending?

THE STORY
The story is a simple one. There are bombs, five of them…and this we find that out pretty early on in the movie. One bomb is planted at the police station itself…and as for the other bombs, well that is for the police to find out. And as is common with all terrorists, the person who has planted the bombs wants something in exchange…There is suspense even though we know that the police commissioner (who is the narrator) is alive and well…as we don’t know what is going to
happen to the other characters.

The twist in the tale is what makes the movie worth it. It’s a very satisfying movie although until the last twenty minutes of the movie things seem to be going on in a predictable manner.

Here goes the complete story:

Movie starts with "dialogues" of anupam kher who is playing his role as top cop in mumbai police.He gets a call form a person(Naseeruddin Shah) about planting of 5 bombs in all parts of the city.It should be noted that the name of Naseeruddin Shah is never spoken in the whole movie.The reason for this,as given in the movie,was that people recognise a person with his name.If he is Muslim,then people ll think him as a terrorist.

Now,Naseeruddin Shah,who is pretends as a terrorist,ask for freeing the top 4 terrorists from various jails of mumbai.This was the deal between Naseeruddin Shah and anupam kher.If police releases all 4 terrorists then Naseeruddin Shah would tell the police about the locations where he has planted the bombs.

Police obeys him and releases all 4 terrorists.police take all 4 terrorists to a pre-specified place.As Anupam kher asks for the location of the bombs as per the deal.

Here comes the twist,instead of taking all terrorits with him,Naseeruddin Shah blows all of them except one terrorist.

Now,for how this happens,you must watch the movie.

The long dialogue of Naseeruddin Shah in the end of movie is boring..Except it," A wednesday" rocks!

A wealthy man, a successful men, a famous man, an interesting man, a macho, a talented man, a loving man, a man she loves, a father for her children, a friend, a sex-machine – details may differ, but the main point stays the same. She wants a man. Some females want just money or a career, but if she denies her willingness to meet a real man – she lies. Moreover, girl’s demands to what she calls a good man vary as she gets older.

A girl of 22 wants a prince on a white horse. A girl may claim she’s realistic and doesn’t look on the world through the pink glasses, but she’ll never confess dreaming of an ideal man. He’s got to be handsome, charming, popular. He’s got to be rich - probably not so rich, but always in funds. Of course, he’s got to be generous to spend money on her. He’s got to be smart, brilliantly smart– to some girls it’s even more important than being very handsome, but of course his mind is never more important than his purse. He’s got to have a great sense of humor, to be athletic, stylish, romantic and a good listener, tender lover and... well, the list of his qualities can be prolonged on and on. A girl wants a man to adore her and to make her the goddess with flowers, gifts and promises of eternal love laid at her feet.

A girl of 32 wants just a good man. She has finally taken off those pink glasses and got rid of romantic fantasies. So her good man mustn’t be a hero – he is good-looking, has good manners, a well-paid job, a good car, a good house, and a good sum of money on a credit card. Also he carries bags from supermarket, likes her home-cooked dinners, laughs at her jokes, remembers the most important dates – like her mom’s birthday, and able to express tenderness not less than one time per week. Such a nice domestic kind of a good man.

A girl of 42 wants just a man. That ordinary kind of man is not a movie star, he even has a belly instead of muscles– good if the shirt covers it all; sometimes a head lacking hair, but still isn’t too disgusting. He shaves by the weekends, is still “athletic” enough to do some housework, remembers where to laugh in the jokes, nods to show he’s listening, takes her out once a month, drives her to the supermarket and back, doesn’t set the car in motion until all women’s parts of body are in, and puts the water-closet pan’s seat down.

A girl of 52 wants... well she just lives with that man. It’s really nice if he remembers her name, shaves during weekends, sometimes gets a haircut, changes underwear and socks regularly, borrows money not too often, tries to behave himself in public. It’s great if he also finds the strength to leave the coach for some weekends, notices delicious dinner while watching TV, doesn’t always fall asleep while listening to a person. By this age a woman doesn’t expect much, in fact she asks for the very minimum.

A girl of 62 wants a man who won’t disturb her too often. She’s a lucky one, if he’s not too scary to make his own grandchildren cry, if he still remembers where the bathroom is, where his teeth are, what month it is, who this woman is, what he is laughing at, and etc. A woman will appreciate his ability to get up, dress properly without much help from her side. The top of all dreams is if it doesn’t cost a lot to keep that man, and if there are some places in the house, where his snore doesn’t reach.

A girl of 72... well, some “girls” do live that long, but what about men? Are you sure he’s still breathing? And he doesn’t leave puddles in the water-closet? Oh, that’s a real treasure for a tired girl of 72.

ATTITUDE!

They says that attitude decides your destiny!
A right attitude can bring you lot of success in your life,on the other way around,with wrong attitude who won't get anything in your life.

Easy said and done,what is a right attitude?
From last many years i am trying to figure out answer to this question.I am still unclear about the answer of this question.I am still trying to figure out that what is the meaning of the word "ATTITUDE" which ll bring success to me in my professional and personal life.u

Well, i was watching last weekend Belguin Formula1 grand prix,and got a clear idea of a positive attitude.Kimi Raikkenon of Ferrari overtook the McLaren driver Lewis Hamilton in first lap & came to 1st position.Kimi led the Belguin Grand Prix for almost 40 laps.But, Hamilton was just behind him,looking for an oppurtunity to overtake Kimi.

It's clear that in case of rain McLaren is much better car than Ferrari.So when light rain started pouring on the circuit after 40th lap,Hamilton saw a window of oppurtunity and he Grabbed it.He came so close to Kimi that Kimi became nervous and collided his car on the wall.

So for me that's the attitude which we should carry in our professional life.Look for an oppurtunity and when you get the oppurtunity,Grab it.Remember god only give one chance to prove yourself.And if that chance is gone,then your life gonna be miserable.

Hhh! good lesson learnt.Let me see as if i can apply it in my professional life.
