Started another new wave of poisons.

Day by day I was battling the urge to get this, finally, succumbed.

But, the 1st converge I'm show wasn't bought, it was given by a friend. 3:)

Now left the shield, I don't know should or shouldn't panel line it.

The only extra here was a right hand for the Bazooka.

Reboot: Fixing my MG 1/100 Strike Freedom's frame.

In order to save more money & less buying to increase backlogs, I decided to man it up, FIX MAH' FREAKIN' CREEP SF'S FRAME.

I think I didn't told anyone how or what's broken in the frame of SF of mine.

Ok, 1st thing, remove the plate gold. Look oddly stupid. By the I snap this picture, those plate parts become weak, thus, start to break apart, luckily, got the extra parts.

To add my stupidity 3 years ago, I've seam line removal the right leg's frame. Yes, SEAMLINE REMOVAL. How stupid I am at that time...

Can you spot the fixed area ?

If you can't, here the better picture. The sliding mechanism on the knee already broken into pieces, so, pla plate it to extend the length, then drill a 1.1mm hole, stuck some 1mm pin into it. It's fixed, but I don't for how long.

Saw the line ? Yes, I've saw it off just to start fix the stupid slide gimmick. Well, you won't see it anyway since, it's covered in the end.

Greetings to all my readers ! Well, New Year has passed, now awaits Chinese New Year, which fall on 4th week of January this year. Can't wait hahahaha ~

Title says, this post is about all the kit I've made so far. Yeah, "so far."

Out of the blue, manage to get this effect;

Metalize effect via Mr. Metal Color Aluminium + toothbrush. Pardon for the smudge surface, I think I need a compound or something.

Metalize almost all the thrusters.

Up-close abit. Can see shadow. NAIS.

Example #2 as above.

For this kit, the C-joint on the shoulder won't look nice, so, pla plates is going to be summoned.

Just paint the GM's inner visor for a visible design inside of it. It got eyes. I think red would make it badass haha !

I just can't stop fooling around with the metalize part. ;)

Actually the hook can hook on there, until one day one side of it broke. Heck, like I even care the hook. Copying the same connector for Strike Shield, I redo the broken hook into a connector type for IWSP Shield. Objective Accomplished.

Now now, where did I put the boomerang...hmmmmmmmm. Blah, just scratch-build one, ain't that hard. Maybe can make a better one also. :)

WIP Restart - SD Sangokuden Genbuso Ryofu

So, I put on hold my Jesta WIP for a while for this....

Finally got the idea to re-start modding joints for Genbuso armor, so I start the 1st thing in my mind, the legs.

So, my 1st attempt (Right) doesn't look right, so I redo it again, this time, lots of pla plates.

Posability. Big difference.

Bend, twist, you name it, it got it. :)

As title said. I've suffer from missing a part while building this kit.....

No choice, TAIM TO GET MY PLA PLATES OUT ~~

Never ever tried this method before, but I think I'm prepare more to deal with this.

The part that has lost it's twin. Dem.

Using the method from Art, "Tekap dan Lukis" (LoLoLz troll gotta trolls) I simply draw it on a pla plates.

Drawn & drilled.

Next, test fit, as usual.

Nice, got my motivate on better now. Proceed.

Re-replicate another side, forming the side of the missing part.

Few days later.......

Finished the part ! KYAAAAA ~~~

It doesn't hook, but sometimes it holds onto the grenades, lolz.

So, you must noticed that the Jesta Duo haz rise. 3:)

Jesta Duo, #2 still under color planning, but weaponry, SET !

Today's post, it's all about testing a hardware spray can product, Samurai.

OK I found this 2 interesting color of a sum of metallic color, namely;

Sonic Blue (Left) & Metallic Brown (Right)

I thought I wanna preserve the originality of Jesta's color scheme, but insufficient color range calls for alternative....

Nais Meta-Brown is NAIS.

Sonic Blue, but, odd, got Meta-Brown reflected lolz ~

Much visible of Sonic Blue

Parts that are done sprayed, 2 layer with 10min gap haz great result. :3

Do I need to say more ? Well, a coat of matt coat will eliminate the glossiness, so no worries ~

Today, we are going to test fit a hinge to the shield, forming a moveable shield arm.

But before that, something Magvyer taught me;

Sanded part.

As you could see, the parts has been sanded to remove the molding lines formed on a wide surface.

With a lil' rub with Autosol Metal Polish, this came.

Quite smooth I must say.

I suppose that's what he said, must sand 'til the finest grit. Well, I don't have fine grit with me, so, Maika. :3

Tested also (no pictures taken) on Mr. Metal Color Chrome Silver. Failed as it wipes off all the paint.....

Anyway, proceed.

A soldier with big armament is always a win.

But the main point wasn't weapon. Spot the difference ?

Yeah but, the kit itself is ruined, headless, arm-less...so....maika.

A mere cut & cement, nothing fancy about this. Although it's a 3-point joint, there's still restriction on it. Haiz....

Good choice for spamming some Zulu, or, distract the Shambloo. :3

Primed the insignia on the waist. I dislike foil. Currently deciding what color to put on.

Like how Chubbybots did, I also did the seamline removal for easier job.

It's tough to cut it though... But worth to try on. No fail at all ~

Sudden acquired idea pops up, Ultimate X color scheme. Well, if ya need to look how's the X like, click here.

Basically, arms, thighs & waist are the main point to re-paint with a purple color, but I only had Samurai's Red Purple, which is bling'd with metallic particles... Oh well, least good looking also. :3

Sand off the cement excess. Now, it looks ugly....

Snapfit the waist & body for better picture on how it would end up like.

Now left to sand the shoulders.

C-joint'd the left arm, wait the cement to dry then sand.

Leave the nub while cement it, less hassle to do 1 job twice.

Now, let's go the weaponry, a machine gun. Looks like a hybrid of Uzi & Sub-machinegun no ? I mean, look at the cartridge.

The main reason is this, the scope must be in clear part, not foil !! I RAGE ! Time to cut & paste !!

Anyone recognize this ? Yes, it's from the runner, specifically, the runner's number. Take it out, use artknife to cut off the numbers & cutter the shape it.

WIP HGUC 1/144 Jesta - Making some progress

The next day, after the prologue, building process begins.

Since this is my 1st time doing a same kit, twice the speed that I normally did, so I will post it part by part hahaha....post count whore wakakakak ~

Without even looking at the manual, cut out all the parts out from the runners recklessly. I PAIN.

Polycaps. Tipical type. Most new HG kit got these type already, so skip the explanation.

Palms, 1st runner. I gasp seeing this much palm available.

Palms, 2nd runner, & I GASP MORE.

The only runner left untouch, Runner A.

"Off ya go runners."

Went to Daiso-like shop, & found this interesting thing. Swapping the dull-look pipes with this will be a good idea ? *smirk*

Ridiculously, finished the 1st repeated parts.........

On this time. LoLz. Btw, picture above is also the time where I just finish upgrading my gf's X10 to 2.3.3. & spent another 2 hours + to root it, which is a success. :3

While rooting, I also finished to 2nd group of repeated parts. Talk about slow-mo jobs.

& this is where, I stop my job for the day, It's freaking almost 3am ! Gosh.............


Continue it tonight, which is kinda late already lolz.... But finished another 2 group of repeated parts.

You guessed it, I just do the joint parts 1st, since, this ABS-like parts always troubles me the most. Get rid the annoyance 1st.

& finally, the last 2 group (Hopefully) of repeated parts done.

2 days worth of work. MEHWHATTHEHELLI'MSOSLOWLIKESHIT !

On the other hand, laying in the boxes, piles of parts that requires nub-removing + sanding.....

To be honest, I never try to like a grunt unit.

Why ?

'coz everytimes I see 'em in the anime, they always the 1st to blown up, torn to pieces, beam-ed to dust, mindraep etc, you name it.

Nowaday, UC series haz alot, ALOT of strong grunt unit that can be proud of. Stark Jegan, Ecoas & now, Jesta.

I know no shit about this ms's background though, but you guys can check it out via Google hahahaha ~

Ok I should stop ranting before somebody gonna beam me.

I just received my Jesta yesterday evening, courtesy of our Dr. Gunpla, Mr. Edward Yong *people applausing*. All thanks to him, I think I might be one of the few peeps in KK that haz Jesta now. *Weeee~*

A quick visit on local bookstore paid off, found the HK Hobby World Magazine, which gives out the conversion parts for Banshee's horn/vfin.

Ok, when I'ma start this thing off, lemme remind you about it. IT'S FREAKIN' FRAGILE FOR MY BRUTE HAND TO HOLD !

So I just use tweezer for the work. :3

Set #1, NT-D Banshee vfin in the making. Note that the vfin is primed, while the other haven't.

A snap-fitting for the Banshee normal mode. Ok-ok lar. Actually I did some mistake here, if ya notice it. :3

2 hours of slacking, priming, finally done both, for teh lulz.

After lunch like usual, went to nearest bookstore to read some magazines for free. :3

Saw the usual hobby magazine department, & I notice this magazine with freebie ! What was it ?

Just started in building the Saber-san, although not THAT much hahah.....

So, actually I just matt coated the head only, just to make the kit look better than glossy plastic look, bleeeh !

Above 2 pics are matt coat. Look NAIS ~ I like the texture of it, better than OOB one.

The only parts that are gloss coated.

Will start do the rest this weekends. Jaa ~~~

RG 1/144 Strike - IWSP Connect !

Good morning ! 2nd day of September, 1st day of working this month hahaha......

Finally had the urge to do gunpla.....on the 3rd day of holiday haiz...whole day trolling with my psp......

So, IWSP attached. NAISSSS ~~

I just noticed that, not all people who did this mod actually show the measurement of the connector, talk about simplify.

A 0.5mm gap between the upper pack & lower pack. Not I can't handle one. :3

Got extra length of pla plates when I was making the connector.

I ISH MENACE ! < Looks can be very intimidating. I RIKE MAH ~

Ok here's the measurement. Wide 5mm; Thick 1mm; length 5mm ~ 8mm. How to align well ? Well, I just guessing, don't have the tool to do so also, just random drill & cut.

Although, the connector is bended abit 'coz of the alignment not ngam. Haiz.

Very obvious bend, lucky it will be hidden anyway.

NOW I ISH HAVE MOTIVATION TO COMPLETE THIS MOD + COLOR CHANGING BY THIS WEEK ~~~

Lazy and busy, 2 main factor that makes me doesn't post anything even though I had some WIP in my pc. :P

So lemme do this quick.

Ok, I didn't put up any WIP of the kit I'm working on, 'coz it's halfway done now

Left to do; front chest armor, Schneider x2 & head.

Details = took alot of time.

Underneath the front skirt, paint some gray for better look.

Mecha-Gray color marker as the seperator's color.

I HAVE NO LOVE FOR PEELED OFF EASILY STICKER. So I just paint it Silver instead. Panel line on the arms kinda dirty...

Overall amount of details has been worked. Dem. 3 weeks....

Paint the thrusters' vent with Silver also.

GAPS ! WHY ! IT'S NASTY LOOK !..............I think I need add-on some pla plates here.

Again, screw the sticker, paint with Silver.

So I try to finish it by end of this month, wanna start the Saber-San already........

WIP SD Wing Gundam EW #03

So we finally reach the last session of this kit.

Actually there's alot of progresses I didn't manage to take pic of, so well, I just post up the finished kit, plus the worse paint job using starting-to-acting-weird gundam marker.

Flying pose. Looks natural. NAIS.

Both also look crap doesn't it ? Somehow, wanna get another one....for different color scheme.

Even though the sword mode is heavy, but the arm can & could hold on quite long, but not sure about long run though. ^^" But hey, at least the pose is natural right ?

Continuous from previous post.

Main body complete. & it took almost 2 hours. Lolz for the time consuming.

Overall look. Dem Smexy.

Adding basic panel on the legs, nothing fancy.

Prime the area needed to color with yellow, but have the wrong yellow.........

Replacing the stickers with gundam marker paint. I wonder, should I retain the SD Original's Sword Mode ? 'Coz was thinking to cut the pegs on the wings though....


Another part that I need to mask & primer with Surfacer white next week.

I ish having good time with this SD kit now.
