Oh wow. Three years since the last post, and four years since this blog was alive and active. Time sure flies. If you ever followed this blog, then you probably gave up on it a long time ago. So if for some strange reason you happen to read this, I must say, I’m sure glad to see you again! :-)

My multiple attempts to revive “My Life With Bad English” ended with a huge question mark. The thing is, in four months of its active life this blog generated nearly half a million views. Take in consideration the fact that all my posts were in QuickTime format (which is far less popular than videos we watch on YouTube daily), so many users most likely had to install the necessary software in order to be able to watch them. It became clear to me that the subject had some genuine interest and was well worth pursuing. So after three followup episodes (that I never posted) I decided to pull the plug on this videoblog and create something much bigger out of all my stories. With the help of my film school friends, the new project is slowly approaching its start line. It will probably take another year before we start working on it “full time”, because this new endeavor brought a set of new standards that must be met in order for the project to be successful. So no, I did not fail to fulfill my promise to tell more stories. You’ll hear them all, and it’s going to be far more enjoyable than sitting in front of a computer and watching my talking head in a static shot.

While I’m here I might as well tell you what I’ve been up to in the past three years. After graduating from film school I've been working as a film and video editor. One of the films I worked on has been recently released on DVD and it was written up in several major newspapers, including New York Times. Take a look if interested:

Back In The USA

Hey guys,

I spent the last three weeks traveling, and now I am back in the US. I visited Germany and Holland, after that I went east, visiting Russia and Kazakhstan. I literally just stepped in. Turned on my computer, launched Entourage to check my email, and… HOLY SH*T!! What happened?? My mailbox has about three hundred + messages, most of which are feedback on my blog. I did not check my email while traveling, I did not want to. Now you have to give me some time to get through all the questions and comments.

I’ll be back!

Hello pumpkins,

I am thrilled to have you as a guest here at My Life with bad English vlog, where you will learn a lot about what it's like to live in the US as a foreigner. Although many people say that my English is pretty good, I can assure you that it is just an illusion. The fact is, I really suck at it. For example, it took me almost forty fkn minutes to write these few lines. And for those who can relate to my communication problem I will provide "a word of the day" in every post, picking the words that can help you to make an impression of a Harvard graduate, or possibly to get laid. Please utilize them at your own discretion.
