I started off January doing so well taking lots of pictures and self portraits but then it all went to hell in February and March. My day job has been quite insane these past few months and it has sucked out all my creative energy. I’m hoping to start again with taking photos and trying to document life better in April. Layout uses Michelle Underwood‘s new kit, Romance Me available at Two Peas in a Bucket.

My latest layout of my niece and nephew using Michelle Underwood’s new kit, Daisy Mae was featured on the Two Peas in a Bucket newsletter. It’s always a nice surprise and honor seeing my designs featured.

On a side note, I’ve fallen way behind on Project Life. I’ve decided to just do a monthly roundup although I’m behind on that too. Hope you all are faring better then I am with this project.

There’s Project Life, Project 365 and Project 52 – all great options but all slightly overwhelming for me. As of right now I’m trying to take a photo a day (or more) and scrap a layout at the end of the week documenting what happened that week. So it’s kinda a mash up of Project 365 and Project Life. So far I’ve only done one layout and already fallen behind but I did keep up with taking the photos. I’m trying not to feel pressure here and just have fun.Although this past year I did a great job keeping up with my daily 5 year journal which I’m proud to say is completely fill for 2011. It was so exciting to start fresh for 2012! My 5 year journal is one of the best things I purchased as a memory keeper. It allows you to record 5 years all in one page, which will be interesting to read later on in life. Also, I just started a 5 year Q & A, question journal which should be fun to fill out. It’s the same concept of the regular 5 year journal but each day has a specific question.

So whatever you do to memory keep in 2012 have fun and do what works best for you!

We’re big fans of the show so it was pretty cool to see. Spoiler alert: Jim Caviezel and Taraji P. Henson were filming a scene TOGETHER! Michael Emerson wasn’t there but a crew member told us the show was picked up for 22 full episodes. These are the things that make me love living in NYC!

I’ve been very lazy lately when it comes to blogging. Every time I go to write something the words do not come out or just don’t sound good and then I stop. I guess you could say I’m going through a blog funk – blah! Since I’ve been missing lately I thought I’d do a snapshot of what’s going on with me this November and share:

  • Thoroughly enjoyed seeing actor, Hugh Jackman in his one man show Hugh Jackman Back On Broadway
  • Finishing up our holiday card and some client holiday cards as well
  • Loving my new iphone although I need to use more apps and take more pictures
  • Just finished the book, Before I Go To Sleep for my book club which was very good and highly recommend
  • Looking forward to our vacation to Aruba – counting the days and I can’t wait to be away to relax
  • Gearing up for Thanksgiving with the Srokas in NJ
  • Totally digging the new Kelly Clarkson album Stronger
  • Excited to see the new Muppets movie that comes out this week
  • Just bought awesome tickets for the Kelly Clarkson concert for Radio City Music Hall
  • Thinking of doing Project Life in 2012 but a little apprehensive about it and keeping up with it
  • Trying to deciding on my word for 2012 and how it applies to what and where I want to be next year

Happy 11/11/11! I was lucky enough to take a screen shot of the exact time of 11/11/11 at 11:11:11 on my phone, which is pretty cool! Supposedly today is good luck so I hope you’ve all had good fortune today. Maybe I should have bought a lotto ticket but least it’s Friday.
