LeapFrog is offering a Friendship is Magic video app for their LeapPad and Leapster Explorer devices. The app retails for $7.50 and includes two episodes: Dragonshy (Season 1, Episode 7), and Swarm of the Century (Season 1, Episode 10).

"FYI: all of the marketplace is now free! Yep, use the custom photos and marketplace as you wish. The only requirement is to enter a valid address."

Blind Bags at Walmart in Dayton, Ohio

This may be another fluke, but Walmart is much more promising than a JC Penney outlet, that's for sure. These Wave 1 blind bags were found in a Dayton, Ohio Walmart by our good friend Edward Mowinckel, located in the toy section with the rest of the MLP merch. MyLittlePony.com has once again updated their look. They also added some new content. There are several puzzle games, including a Bridle Gossip Puzzle Game which was also released on Hubworld. There's also a G3.5 "Curtains Up Matching" game, which I haven't seen before. It must have been used for a contest at some point, since if you make all the matches it says you get a bonus entry to a contest, though the contest doesn't seem to exist.

The previous iteration of the site would periodically update with episode guides, which included coloring and activity pages corresponding to Season 1 episodes. That fizzled out after "Bridle Gossip" was posted, but it appears that the coloring and activity pages for the rest of the season are now available under Printables. Nothing for Season 2 yet though.

Smile! Charity Album from Bronies for Good

Bronies for Good has launched a charity event called Smile! They've put together a charity album with the music community at My Little Remix, and are offering a digital copy of the album to those who donate to The Children's Cancer Association via their page at Global Giving. Furthermore, they are offering several prizes to the top donors. And to top it off, copies of the album are being sent to The Children's Cancer Association for the kids to listen to too. This charity event ends January 25, 2011.

Happy New Year Ponyfans! MLP News took an impromptu holiday break, but we're back now and ready to bring you the latest pony news.

With the end of 2011 came the usual Top 10 Lists, and ponies made a big one: TIME's Top 10 Memes of 2011. Bronies got the nod at Number 9.

Equestria Daily reported, also pointing out that TIME chose the wrong pony era for their picture. But really guys, "hippoponies"? Don't dis G1! (And by the way, many collectors compare the new ponies to deer).
