I have been super into gems and crystals lately, I've actually had a couple placed strategically in tattoos on me I'm that fascinated by them (should pan out really well when I'm like 80). So you may understand why the print: The Jewel In Time Becomes Jaded In Time  by Justin Richel over at Working Proof makes me kinda gaga. Throw in a colonial dude and some lush crystals and I'm sold! A percentage of all sales go to Architecture for Humanity. Be sure to check out more of Justin's work, he's a Jedi with a paint brush.

Tired of the corporate world, Sarah decided to set up shop in her home, right around the corner from London's infamous outdoor Portobello Market where she also has her own stall. Sarah curates an incredibly unique shopping experience with wild and quirky items, often times inviting other artists to visit her "wall". Be sure to take a virtual stroll through Sarah's living room, and make sure you check out past walls. So cool.

Lisa Hanawalt recently released her book, I Want You through Buenaventura Press. It's chock full of Lisa's super rad drawings. If you hurry you may be able to snatch up one of the signed and doodled in copies by Lisa. Also available on her website is her award winning 'zine Stay Away From Other People. Ashkahn's bold colors and his keen sense of humor are unmistakable and always brings a smile to my face. Plus he's just a really good doodle (that's the cuter version of 'dude'.) Very giving and kind. I love all of his stuff for sure, but right now I am really feeling this rad rainbow print. Says so much. ;)

The latest work from prolific street artist Dan Witz is at both intense and unreal. It seriously has blown me away. Always one to simultaneously work and play with the natural urban settings around him, Dark Doings is no exception. Dan's work always leaves me feeling inspired and in a state of "holy shit". But this new group, took me to another level entirely. It left me feeling haunted in only the way incredible art can. It also left me unable to look at creepy steel doors the same again. Dark Doings opens tomorrow night at Carmichael Gallery in LA. Should be an incredible show. You can see more on Dan's flickr page.

Christopher Russell's print over at Little Paper Planes almost makes me look forward to winter. He has such an amazing way of capturing landscapes and weaving fantasy within them. There is an incredible warmth to his work. This print would add a touch of gorgeous to any wall it hung on. It's hand numbered in an edition of only 15, so don't wait. Christopher is LPP's artist of the month and he talks candidly about his influences of nature and his own travels outdoors. Along with the interview are some beautiful examples of Chris' work.
