After the limitation of SMS to 100 SMS per day. Many SMSing services are blocked because of the DND service. People cant receive messages from sites which provides SMSing service such as way2sms. If you have activated the DND service or if this service is activated by default. The best way to deactivate this service will be by making call to toll free number 1909. There are various methods which can be followed using SMS but its not successful all the time.

Formatting nokia S60

To format your Nokia S60 mobile like 6600,3230 or N70 and many just dial *#7370# in the main screen then you will be asked to enter the pin number. The default PIN number for nokia mobile is 12345. After entering the PIN number the phone will restart automatically.
Another way and the way i prefer is to turn off your phone and press and hold three keys that is (star) '*' '3' and the green call button and switch on your phone. Do not release the buttons until you see a formatting screen. In some of the mobile you cant see the Formatting screen but the mobile will be formatted. If you are asked to set the date while your mobile is turned on then you can conferm that your mobile is formated.

Formatting will delete all the datas from the phone including contacts, Wallets and settings this do not delete the contacts in the SIM memory

Give a new look to your S60 mobile with the cool tiny font. xenon.sis is installation file which changes the size of the font to small as in the image. After installation you need to restart the phone to apply the font. Doing this u can easily read a lengthy message with out scrolling down. Later if u want to remove the font then use font remover tool.

To know about the call tariff of any booster pack.Then just type BOOSTER followed by the booster cost and send it to 121 EX: BOOSTER 97 to know about 97 booster pack. And if you like to know about 15 booster then type BOOSTER 15 and so on for other BOOSTERS

All this services are tested with AIRTEL prepaid card (Tamil Nadu) This may vary with other states.

BLOCK SMS

If you are bored with boring or disturbing SMS then its time to use SMS Spam Killer a cool application which filters the incoming message in such a way that the visitor will don’t even know that he/she has got a message. It moves the message from inbox and stores in a separate place. It also filters the message based on its text content.

How to configure: Run the application then select OPTION > Add filter > Correspondent filter. Select this if you would like to stop receiving messages from a particular person.

Making List: Add list of Numbers and Contacts from whom you don’t want to receive any message. Give a name Filter name then select Black List in Behaviour then select Correspondents. Now select Options > Add person and select the contact name. You can also give a number or select a group.

Allow message: Select White list from Behaviour option if you want to receive messages only from the contacts in the list.

Blocked Messages: To see the Blocked messages go to Log where you can see the list of messages which has been blocked. Select Info to read the message. If you want delete all the messages which are Blocked go to Log > Options > Clear Log.

Text Filter: Text filter is another great option which Blocks the message if the message contains the given text (here I used IrsH). In the image you can see that the message is Blocked since it contains the word IrsH.

USING PENCIL BUTTON IN NOKIA MOBILES

Using Pencil button:
Pencil button can be used to mark multiple files, contacts or gallery files. It is much useful if u want to delete or move a multiple files or contacts.

How to mark files:
To do so just press and hold the pencil button and move the joystick over the names of the file to be marked. Now a number of files are marked.

Marking:
You can use the mark option in many places like GALLERY, FILE MANAGER and INBOX for marking

Unmarking:
If you have marked a number of files and you want to unmark a single file which is in the middle of the list then just move the selection to the file to unmark and press and hold the pencil button and press the joystick. The file will be unmarked.

Copying a text:
One can easily copy a text from the inbox or wherever it may be. This may be useful if you want to post your message to web from your inbox. To copy a text move the cursor at the beginning of the text you want to copy then press and hold the pencil button and move the cursor over the text, now you see a COPY option at the left selection button select it to copy the highlighted text.

Pasting the copied text:
Now move the cursor to the point were you would like to paste the text, then press and hold the pencil button so that you may find a option PASTE in the right select button click it to paste the copied image. You can also use the copied text to paste in contacts,bluetooth name,profile,web pages and all the places were we can input a text.

SmartSetting for symbian mobile

What is smart setting:
Smart setting is a cool symbian software which creates a new START button to the left select key in the standby mode. It creates a list of shortcut to the applications installed in the phone with there cool icons…

How does it looks:
You can see a new start key in the place of left selection key. User can just select the Left selection key and press 2 if he wants to enter into the Bluetooth menu (This shortcut is for the given screenshot to make u understand).

Customizing the title:
You can change the title to your own (default is set as Start). using the Title option

Selection list:
The user can customize the shortcuts to be displayed in the list. User can select which applications shortcut should be displayed in the start list.

Enable and disabling the icon:
You can disable the visible of icons of the software, by selecting Disable in the Application icons. You can also remove the icon of the start menu.

Secret number lock:
Easy unlock is a good option in the smart setting which allows the user to set a password to unlock the phone. But still u can use the default option ( unlock + * ) to unlock your phone.

Disabling default unlock:
To disable the default unlock option select Disable in Unlock + * option

Custom message while unlock:
This is a cool feature which enables the owner to give a custom message when the phone is tried to unlock with a wrong code .

More start buttons:
Here you can see a number of bars which makes your start menu look more beautiful. I got these coool bars when I downloaded the TODDLER theme for my mobile. You can get different bars for different themes if you search. You can apply this bar by replacing the SmartSetting.mbm file with SmartSetting.mbm file you downloaded with the theme, which is in the DIR c:/system/Apps/SmartSettings..
