I Love Malaysia Campaign Result

Do you still remember I blog about the I Love Malaysia Campaign contest? It is a contest by Exabytes, conjunction with the Malaysia National Day. After one and a half months, when I almost forgot about this contest, the result is out.

This week is quite a bad week for me. My friend's dad passed away and my classmate left us due to heart attack. Luckily, this good news brings joy to me. I am so happy now. It has been few months since I won any prize. The previous one was the Eason's Moving On Stage 26 Concert ticket.

Happy Mid Autumn Festival

I thought today I can take the round Moon photo. It seems like I need to wait for another time since it was raining until now. Too bad. Never mind, I can wait for next month. But I heard that August 15th (in Lunar calendar) will have the roundest Moon ever.

Finally, I went to the the camera shop just now to check out the camera+laptop bag. It's not cheap though. I have 2 choices now: Lowepro Fastpack 250 or Kata DR-467i (previously is DR-467). Lowepro is priced at RM350 while Kata costs RM330, just a RM20 difference. There was a customer in the shop told me that Kata is more comfortable while carry it on the back. I have read a lot of reviews online about these 2 too. Most of them said Kata is more comfortable. I tried on Lowepro Fastpack 250 as well. To me, it's not that bad either. But the laptop compartment is from the side, not the normal top. Hmmmm, now my scale is more towards Kata. I can use it as my laptop bag if I am not bringing my camera and laptop together. Anyway, I will decide and buy it by end of this month or beginning of next month.

幸福的味道

每一次读秀茵的小说，都觉得很舒服。这次，读完的是《幸福的味道》。它是有关烹饪的小说。能写出烹饪的技巧，我想，秀茵的厨艺应该还不错的。呵呵。

从第一本《纯纯的守护神》、《记忆天使》、《月亮城》、《小天堂》、《太阳城》，到今天的《幸福的味道》，每一本都买了。秀茵的书，老少咸宜，读起来没有压力，不到一会儿，就可以把它读完。不像其他的小说，我看了停，又继续，又停。停停看看已经很多次可是还是没把它读完。

读完《幸福的小说》已经有超过一星期了吧。现在，读的是九把刀的《少林寺第八铜人》，进展还不错，已经过半了。九把刀的书，很多都不错的。最喜欢的就是他的杀手系列。可是有些像《绿色的马》里面的短篇小说，实在太深奥了，我看了一半就无法继续下去，可能要等过些时候再拿来继续吧。

说回《幸福的味道》，书的后面几页，还有食谱呢。如果跟着来煮的话，应该没问题的吧。哈哈哈。想知道更多关于《幸福的味道》的故事情节，你可以到大众书局或上网订购。上网订购可以拿到秀茵的签名哦！

Bad Luck

It has been 2 months since I went to work in Kulim. Since then, my life is full of bad luck. Got it again today. I have no idea why. One of my friend said, those problems that can be solved by money is not a problem anymore. Ya, I agree that. But the thing is, my money earning speed is not that fast if compare to those unnecessary spending. All needs money! Money here, money there. I want to faint soon. How?? Who can help me?

Final Destination 4

For 3rd week in a row, I went to watch movie in the cinema on weekends. The best part is, all 3 movies are horror and thriller movie: Murderer, The Orphan and Final Destination 4.

The storyline for Final Destination 4 is the same as the previous 3. One of the guy sees the vision on the crash, losing all their lives in the incident. Later, the accident is really happen and they manage to escape from the death. However, they don't know that death is actually coming after them one by one.

Final Destination 4 is really horror on some of the part. I think it is better than Final Destination 3. However, the first one is still the best.

I am a fan of horror and gruesome flicks. It doesn't matter how scary or gruesome it may be, it is still a movie, to me. However, reality TV is totally different. It is filled with real suspense and reaction. Watching such shows, keep me on the edge of my seat most of the time.

There is a particular truTV video that shows real reactions on people going on the Bungee Jump. I don't think I will ever be brave enough to try one. I probably will be dizzy and faint before executing the jump! I personally know some friends who dare to go on bungee jumping. One did one on a trip to New Zealand. How frightful for me but bold of her. If you ever decide to try going on one, perhaps a good idea would be to watch videos from truTV to have an idea how it is like. After all, the reactions are real.

So many things can happen while on the Bungee Jump. Cross your fingers, pray all you can. Or you can also avoid all this anxiety and stress level. Do watch all the videos from truTV. Try the Most Daring category. It is just exciting and will keep you up all night watching them!

The Orphan

Before watching The Orphan, I am thinking of watching another movie, District 9. After much consideration and asking the opinion from Nic, I went for The Orphan. I made a good choice for watching this movie. It is exciting and horror!

The story is very normal. A married couple lost their 3rd child while the lady is pregnant. After some time, the lady managed to get over the sad news and decided to adopt a new child. Of course, Esther is the one they adopted.

After Esther joined the family, many things start to happen. She is an evil. She started to make everyone thinks that the lady is the one who not taking good care of her. The lady investigated on her past and finally knew the truth. What is the truth? Who is Esther? You will get the answer if you catch this movie in the cinema near you.

I enjoyed the movie very much, however, the couple who sit beside me spoil my mood. They keep on talking and that girl, keep screaming here and there, especially towards the end. Oh man! I hate people who talking non stop during a movie. Irritating.

The Orphan and Murderer have a common point. It is related to the children. In Murderer, Aaron Kwok has a small little boy. Same goes to The Orphan, Esther is the little girl in the family. Both are evil. Opps... I have said something that I am not suppose to say. Haha, I told you earlier, don't read if you want to watch this movie in the cinema. It is your problem now for not listening to me. LOL.

Next, what movie will I watch? I think it will be Final Destination 4. Another horror movie. YEAH!

Murderer

I watched 2 movies for the last 2 weekends, Murderer and The Orphan. If you have not watched these 2 movies, and think of watching it, please don't continue to read on this post. Spoiler inside! If you still want to continue, don't blame me. It is still better for you to go watching without reading any reviews.

Murderer, a long awaited movie starring Aaron Kwok. It was released during July in Hong Kong. It only comes to Malaysia on August 27.

In this movie, Aaron acts as a cop, again. He is investigating on one case, where the murderer using the drill to drill the body of the victim, and let blood to flowing out, until he/she dead. During one of the investigation, Aaron got hit by someone and fainted while one of the cop was badly injured by the murderer. When Aaron awakes, he lost some part of his memory. He totally cannot remember what has happened.

While investigating, all the evidence seems to point back to Aaron. Aaron's best friend also started to suspect him. Is Aaron really the murderer? Or is it someone else? What will happen in the end?

With no doubt, Aaron's acting has become much better, if compare to few years back. In Murderer, his acting was fantastic especially near to the end of the movie. I am sure, Aaron will be nominating for the Taiwan Golden Horse Awards and Hong Kong Film Awards. I hope he can get the Best Actor for the Hong Kong Film Awards instead of the Taiwan Golden Horse. Aaron has won the Best Actor for 2 consecutive in the Taiwan Golden Horse but never win in the Hong Kong Film Awards.

Next, I will talk about another similar movie, The Orphan.

Things that I HATE when I am Watching Movie in the Cinema

1. Some brainless people who never turn off the cell phone. Phone rings, they pick up, and start to talk on the phone.

2. People who keep kicking your chair on your back, throughout the movie.

3. Some people like to discuss the storyline with their friends from the beginning until the end of the movie.

4. People who brought along their kids into the cinema and the kids start to make noise and cry during the show.

5. For those people who cannot watch horror movie, please don't go and watch it in the cinema. Just for God sake, buy DVD and watch it at home. At least, you can scream at anytime you want. The worst is, the scene is not scary they also scream non stop!

6. People who like to ask question about the movie. If you don't understand, can you just shut up and ask only the movie is finished?

7. People fall asleep while watching the movie and start snoring.

8. People who come in late and so coincidence, they sit at the same row as you. Disturbing!

9. People who sit at the same row as you, go to toilet for few times during the movie.

10. People who smoking inside the cinema. Last time I encountered this in the old type cinema. Now, no more. Phew.

I think I better stop it here. If not, it will be a long long list. I hope my friends do not fall under any category I mentioned above. LOL.

Eason's Moving On Stage 26

I won 2 RM298 tickets from MyFM. I called and luckily, I got it through. I sang 于心有愧 but I was too nervous and forgot the lyrics in the end. Anyway, I still win the tickets! Yipee!!!

Eason's Moving On Stage 26 is the finale for the Moving On Stage Concert. I am wondering why he chose Malaysia to be the finale station and not Hong Kong. Anyway, the concert is so great. The RM298 tickets are the most expensive among the 3 types. Another 2 is RM98 and RM198. I manage to stand so near to the stage and watch Eason's performance.

Eason's performance for the night is fantastic and incredible! His voice is so good although he sing and dance at the same time. On that night, total of 32 songs are perform sang by him. Most of them are dance hits.

Eason's Moving On Stage 26 is the BEST concert I have ever seen, so far.

3rd Week in Kulim

It has been 3 weeks since I came to work in Kulim. I have started to use to drive all the way from Penang to Kulim everyday. The job here is better if compare to my previous department. I have already bored towards my previous job. Of course, I will still going back after 2 more months here. I think it's time for me to move on to another department, instead of staying there.

This morning, before coming to work, it started to rain. It was so heavy until I can hardly see the road. I drove very slow. Some of the places were already flooded with water. Luckily, there is no rain when I reached my company. Actually it is good to have the rain, since it is so hazy these few days. People are sick just because of the weather.

Today is my brother's Birthday. Wishing him Happy Birthday and may all his wishes come true.

What is QLOG? If you asked me what is a BLOG, I can answer you right away. But not QLOG. I have no idea what is that. At first, I read it as Q-LOG. I tried to search it on Wikipedia, but there is no result return. Finally, I managed to get it from http://www.amyafrica.com and know the pronunciation of QLOG. QLOG is pronounced as "clog".

QLOG is a website that let you ask question on almost everything, including online marketing, email marketing, analytic, SEO/SEM, shopping carts and etc. It is 99% Queries and Quintessentials & 1% Quibblings. Moon

Moon photo is not easy to take. I tried last time, but fail. It comes out not that nice. That is why I never post any moon photo before. Below photos were taken while I was waiting for my dinner at one of the coffee shop, on the Penang Heritage celebration night.

I change the lens to 55-250mm lens. The Moon is nearer now.

Nearer! Nice huh?

I still hope to take a full Moon photo in future. Yesterday night I saw the round Moon on the sky. However, it cannot be seen from my unit. It is at another side. Nevermind, for sure I have the chance. But I need to be quick before my cousin took back his 55-250mm lens. :)

I like to wear jeans for some reasons. First, it is easy to match with your clothes. No matter is a t-shirt or shirt, you can match it with your jeans perfectly. Second, jeans are long lasting. You can wear it for years, no matter it is torn or not.

2nd Day in Kulim

Today is my 2nd day in Kulim. Why I am here? I am on a job assignment, that is why. I will be here for 3 months, until October.

Same like other new job, first few days will be very boring. Training will be the main agenda. Apart from the training, you need to read all the documents, which I hate the most. I prefer to have hands on rather than read non stop. People tend to forget if only read and never do it.

Working in Kulim seems not really that bad. The most tiring part is driving. Drive for 45 minutes from Penang to Kulim, and drive back is really time consuming. It will be OK if there is no jam. So far, I never stuck in the jam (TOUCH WOOD!!!). I hope it will never happen to me. :)

Wish me luck. I will back to shift work again after this job assignment. 3 months for me to become a normal person. Hahaha.

I lived at very high floor. From my room, I can see the Penang bridge, which is quite far away. Sometimes, I can see the plane too. Thanks to my cousin's zoom lens, I was able to take the below photo. I just resize the picture and never do any touch up. I want to let you see, how blur is the Penang sky! It has been many days with this situation. Hopefully it will get better soon.
