How to solve N73 auto turn off problem

Its been very long time since the last time i update my blog. Being too busy with life. I have a lot of things to share but too little time to spend on this little blog. Today i will share with you one of the most frustrating problem of N73. Actually this problem is very common for other phones as well but i know it happen for most of N73 users out there. It is the all famous AUTO TURN OFF problem. Had you ever experience your N73 get automatically turn off while you are texting sms , talking with phone or even when you put it on the table? It getting more frustrating when you put it in the pocket for whole day not knowing that it already being turn off automatically. It give me a lot of trouble, people loss communication with me and start blaming me for it. This problem had been bother me for so long and i can't seem to find a solution to it until few weeks ago I managed to fixed it after i found of the core of the problem.

Normally when you took your phone to Nokia Service Centre or any phone shop, they will start blaming the problem to phone virus, firmware, circuit chip...etc. From my experience, normally all of these are not the core of problem. The core of the problem the design of N73. Our N73 is shutting down when the battery is out of its place. There are little gap or space between battery and N73 back panel which allowed the battery to move and disconnected. Which eventually cause the phone to turn off immediately. To put this misery away, you need just a little piece of paper. Fold this little piece of paper, make sure the paper is not too thick. Open the back panel of your N73. Put this little piece of paper on top of your battery. Then close the back panel tightly. Now the problem is solve. The paper will took the gap or space between battery and back panel.

Now your phone will not automatically turn off EVER again!
This is tested 100% working by myself.

Hope this tip help all of the N73 users out there who suffered from this problem.

NoRedClose for symbian 3rd

All symbian phone has the red button like picture above. The red button enable you to End or Close any call instantly. It also enable you to close any application or game instantly.

The red button can be quite annoying sometimes because we usually will accidentally press it at the wrong time. I have some bad experiences with the red button. When Im playing games in final stage with my N73 but accidentally press the red button.....the whole game closed instantly and i have to play it all over again..Damn!

Now you can fix that problem. With NoRedClose, you can disable your red button, your red button will only work when you are in call. So whenever you are playing game or using any application with your phone, you never have to worry pressing the wrong button again!

After install the application, open it and let it run in background to disable red button. You can always enable the red button by exit the NoRedClose application.

Important Advantage

I found this interesting trick on the internet. Now u can send email via your phone without connecting to the internet. Here how it work, you don't need any software, just use sms.

Open a new message
Enter the recipient Email and give one space than write message u want to send
Send it the this number: +447747782320

Now ur message will be sent as an email. Check your mailbox, it should be reach within 10 minutes. I tested myself, it reach within 1 minute.

Few days ago, i received an email request for this software. This is one of the best anti thief security software i have ever use. I should have share this earlier but unfortunately i don't have much time to update the blog recently.

I really like this software because it has some very usable functions to make your phone more secure. Here are some of the function of WebGate Advanced Device Lock Pro.

Application and Phone Locks

ADL Pro allows you to lock your phone automatically by choosing one of the following options:

Always - each time the phone is turned on.
When SIM Changed - if the SIM card of the phone has been changed.
Automatic lock - after a specified period of inactivity.
Protect applications - if someone tries to access the protected applications.

Secure Storage

ADL Pro comes with a password-protected secure storage where you can place your confidential files. Files can be recovered easily by entering a password. You can use the secure storage as a safe deposit box for all your confidential documents, pictures and/or audio/video files.

SMS on SIM changed

ADL Pro alerts you if the SIM card on your phone has been changed by sending a notification SMS to a predefined number. The IMSI number of the new SIM card will be secretly sent to your backup number without the notion of the unauthorized user and then your mobile operator and local authorities can assist you to track the new user, and trace the phone.

For a backup number, you can use the number of your backup phone or any other secure number, such as that of your secretary, spouse, colleague or friend. If you have more than one SIM card and you wish to authorize them to use with your phone, you can do that by simply entering your pass-code once. The SIM card(s) will be remembered for further usage.

Remote Lock and Data Wipe

Remote Lock is a combination of settings designed to protect the phone from theft and abuse. You can pre-select actions for ADL Pro to perform on your phone when an SMS with a specific keyword is received.

Available options are:

Lock the phone
Switch on an alarm
Delete selected data

By choosing the Delete option, you can remotely delete sensitive information from your phone, such as Contacts, SMS, Gallery, Calendar and Secure Storage to protect it from unauthorized usage. If this option is selected and remotely activated, your phone will send you an SMS with a confirmation request to prevent from accidental mistakes.
