TED Blog, this optical illusion is quite incredible.
The green and blue spirals are, amazingly, actually the same green color. Really. The larger pink spiral is actually made up of both pink and orange stripes, causing the brain to get confused and see the green+pink combination as blue.
Don't believe me? Take your fingers and cover up the think pink stripes on either side of a blue stripe and watch the magic. It really makes one wonder what other things your brain takes for "truth" are in fact completely wrong.
