Compared to the Naked Palette one, I do like this one better. Urban Decay did step up their game in this version of the Naked Palette, in my opinion of course. I like this palette better because the packaging is stronger for me to kind of throw it around in my bag or luggage. The mirror is much bigger, also the double ended brush (blending/flat) is a good tool for touching up when you are out. Another reason why I like this this version better than the first is because of my skin tone. I am somewhat pale, therefore, this cooler version suits me better than the first palette, which is a warmer version. To sum it up, this is definitely my go to palette. I've been using this much more than my MAC palettes. It's so nice to just bring one palette, since I travel so much, and always tend to bring too much. But with this palette, I can easily do my work look and also transform it to night look (: So YES, I am loving my Naked Palette 2. I do recommend this to everyone, especially people with pale/fair skin. If you have warmer tone skin and already own the Naked Palette 1, I would say, you don't need to get the 2nd one. The colors are pretty much very similar just one cooler and one warmer, so you really only need one palette! Unless you are a Beauty Junkie like me, then go for it (: hehe

Foxy : New shade, cream bisque with matte finish, great for blending around the brow bone area. (mac:brule)

Half Baked: Same shade as naked palette 1, golden-bronze with shimmering finish. (mac:amber lights)

Bootycall : Shimmering cork, great for the inner tear duck area to brighten up the eyes. (mac:vanilla)

Chopper : copper shimmer with silver microglitter.

Tease : Creamy pale brown with matte finish, great for blending and adding color to the crease area. (mac:quarry)

Snakebite : Dark bronze shimmer with metallic base, great to use as an all over lid color for a dramatic look. (mac:tempting)

Suspect : Pale golden beige with shimmering finish, great to use as an all over lid color for the day. I use this a lot along with Tease (: (mac:woodwinked/patina)

Pistol : light gray-brown with shimmering finish.

Verve : Oyster with shimmering finish

YDK : Cool bronze shimmer with metallic base. I also use this a lot for my day looks (: (mac:buckwheat)

Review : My Favorite Dolly Lower Lashes (Luminous Change Eyelash)

I bought these lower lashes at SaSa in Hong Kong. They were about 98HKD, so the price is not so bad for getting 5 pairs of good quality lashes. I know you can get box of 10 made in Taiwan ones, but seriously, these are better quality (you can reuse them for a longer time period and does not get out of shape easily). I own many many many...and I mean many styles of lower lash, this one has to be my favorite. I usually don't cut them and just use them as is when I'm going out. But if I am using them for work, I would cute off the last part of the lash so there is only 4 chunks of the lash left instead of 5 for a more natural look. When using these lashes, I usually keep my makeup pretty simple. I just use single brown shadow for all over the lid with a little bit of white shadow to brighten up the corners then line the eyes with eyeliner and that's it. Here is the finished look:

Review : Geo Bambi Princess Mimi Chocolate Brown Circle Lens

Hi Everyone, I've received the Chocolate Brown lens from Shoppingholics.com before leaving for Hong Kong. But as you can see, I didn't have the time until now. I wore these a couple of days ago, and seriously!!! these are my favorite pair so far!!! These are very very very natural looking and great to use during the day without being too much. I wore them from about 12 in the afternoon until 11 at night. (I know I'm not suppose to wear it for this long) But....these are so comfortable, there was no discomfort. Maybe it is because I used a drop of the Lycee eye drops after first placing the contacts in my eyes. And I also used a drop of Lycee eye drops for both eyes around 6pm. I definitely recommend the Lycee eye drops for any circle lens wearer (: Overall, I would definitely get these again, because I am totally in LOVE!!! These look great with the makeup style I have (: Definitely enlarges the eyes for a dolly like effect!!! MUST GET (:

Review : Geo Bambi Princess Mimi Apple Green Circle Lens

This is actually my first time trying circle lenses. I was always afraid of putting things in my eyes, and i'm sort of the lazy type girl so I've always just used the "use once throw away" type of color lenses. But I find them pretty uncomfortable and drying. One day I was looking at a website that sells Asian brand cosmetics and Korean circle lenses, I decided to give circle lenses a try. So I purchase the Geo Bambi Princess Mimi in apple green (no prescription 0.00) from www.shoppingholics.com. I also bought the Lycee eyedrops for contacts.

I really like these lenses! These are actually really comfortable, more comfortable than my Freshlook dailies and 1 day acuvues. I was really surprised by this. Plus these enlarges your pupils, giving your eyes more of a cutesy look. I wore these while applying makeup and out. The only time I felt it was uncomfortable was the time when I first put them in, but after applying a drop of the Lycee eye drops, the discomfort disappears (: I always use Lycee eye drops after putting the contacts because it made my eyes feel better and not sore. Overall, I really like these because they are comfortable (: But I would wear these more during night times because wearing them in the morning is a little dramatic for me (It made me look very anime-ish). But if thats the look your trying to achieve then these are for you! I like to wear these at night with a smokey eye, it really boosts up the sexy factor lol (: I recommend these to first time users like myself and people that like circle lenses!

*Do not wear these for longer than 6....max 8 hours. My eyes do feel tired after that. Not recommended for all day wear !

Review : MAC Pro Longwear SPF10 Foundation

I was looking for a foundation that I can use in Asia. I wanted a product that would last a long time and that I could use in hot and humid conditions. I came across the MAC Pro Longwear SPF10 Foundation when I was shopping at the mall and was sold after trying it on.

I've used this for about two weeks and was in love with it until recently. This foundation does stay on for a long time (I usually apply makeup at around 10am and take off makeup around 10pm). I love how the foundation gives a good coverage. When I use this foundation, I don't need to apply a different concealer. I double this foundation as a concealer. I would pump two pumps onto the back of my hand and apply it to my face with the 130 brush and whatever is left over on my hand, I would then use it as a concealer. With this foundation, I didn't used a translucent powder to set it (I've tried to set it with the skinfinish, it makes the makeup look too thick). Therefore, I only recommend using a translucent powder to set this foundation.

The reason why I stopped using this foundation is that my skin started to develop dry itchy patches ): (I have dry sensitive skin). I would not recommend this product to people that have dry sensitive skin or even just dry skin because any Pro Long product can be drying to the skin. I really love this foundation but unfortunately I can no longer use it due to my retarded skin ): I do recommend this to people with oil skin. It controls oil well (:

June 2011 MAC Haul

FYI: My photos totally sucked today, something wrong with my camera...SORRY!

Just got these a couple of days ago (: I am in love with the brushes and lip color! I bought the 130 Short Duo Fibre Brush. This totally helped with my foundation application and gave my face a more natural look. I prefer this over the flat foundation brush because sometimes it leaves my face looking kinda streaky. This is a very small brush compared to the 187 brush, but I find that I like this better because it's more dense for foundation application ( I use the 187 for blush). I've only tried using this brush with the MAC prolong foundation, but should be the same for any other foundation. I would totally recommend this brush, I don't think any brand sells a similar one "yet". The second brush I got was the 219 pencil brush. Prior to getting this brush I just used a flat eyeshadow brush for my crease, but the result is not as neat as I wanted it. This is the first pencil brush I own and am in love with it. I use it for my crease and lower lid because it picks up more color.

I also got 3 lipsticks and 1 lipglass. I got the lipglass because the lipstick was out of stock ): I hope it comes back! I got Morange, Angel, and Lickable. Angel and Lickable is more wearable but I gotta have Morange because orange it so in lol. Morange is a very bright orange so I usually use a pale pink lipgloss to soften the look. I will be using it in my next tutorial (Natural Korean Actress Look). I must say that the Cyndi lipglass is my favorite!!!

My First BH Cosmetics Haul & Review

I've seen many good reviews on this company and decided to give them a try. I bought these palettes on memorial weekend (they were having a 30% sale--good time to snatch them). I think they are having a summer sale right now too! I decided to get the 120 palette 3rd edition, the neutral palette, and the contour and blush palette. I chose these three palettes because I can easily travel with them, which I will be doing a lot in the future (: Also I wanted to experiment with colors, and these are definitely within my budget. Instead of buying all my eye shadows at MAC for experimenting, the 120 color palette is a better and more reasonable choice. Enough said, here are the palettes (:

120 Colors Palette (3rd edition)

* This palette contains a good selection of both matte and shimmery colors. You have your warm colors on top and cool colors on the bottom. Both palettes can be taken out of the main case. The quality is pretty good but not as pigmented as the MAC eye shadows and have fallout problems. Some colors also may not be consistent, and the matte colors are a little hard to blend. I prefer the shimmery colors in this palette. Overall the colors are pretty easy to work with and I recommend this to beginners that want to experiment with colors. But honestly, I still prefer my MAC eye shadows. But this palette is good to play with.

28 Neutral Colors Palette

* This palette contains more matte colors than shimmery colors. Some colors are very similar to the ones MAC carry (Mulch, Beauty marked, Crystal Avalanche, Soba, Brown Down...) but unlike the 120 palette, it is more pigmented. This palette is easier to blend than the 120 palette and I do like this one more. I would definitely take this palette when I'm traveling (for day and night looks). I would rather take this palette while traveling than my MAC palette because I wouldn't want to risk my MAC ones breaking lol. Overall, this is a very good palette to have and I would recommend this palette to anyone. It has a good price and good selection of neutral colors. I love my MAC ones, but this palette is just a must and I would purchase again!!! My second favorite palette and it's like1/4 of the price of my MAC one. (: oh yah, this one doesn't have as much fallouts as the 120 palette. This is a must for beginners and frequent travelers!

6 Color Palette Contour & Blush

* This is also a good palette to have. Only problem again is the fallout problem. I wish the blush had a peachy shade instead of all pinks. But it's still a good palette for traveling. The only shade I don't really use is the brown contour color (I use it for eye shadow because it's way to dark for my skin). I use the white for highlighting, and the light peach for my brow bone and blending. Is this a must? NO! Would I buy again? probably not.

Overview: My all time favorite is the MAC wipes. It is easy to use, gentle enough for sensitive skin, and will clean all the makeup off your face! Using makeup remover wipes are more simple and easy than using cleansing oil. Cleaning oil often leaves oily residues on your face and make your skin feel sticky. Also, cleaning oil can cause the eye to get blurry when trying to get rid of your eye makeup. I have tried many different brands, but I'm only doing reviews on these 4 products because these are the most recent products I've used.

#1: MAC wipes

Company Description:

Swipes away makeup, smudges, dirt and grime, pronto! Oversized, luxurious, super-saturated with special M·A·C cleanser infused with protective vitamin E. Hydrates and nourishes highly efficiently. Extremely refreshing. Totally addictive. Slickly packed, re-sealable, ready to go!

* I am absolutely in love with this product! I have super sensitive skin when it comes to makeup removing products (I'm allergic to the Lancome and Clinique eye makeup remover). I started using this product early this month, thanks to my BF <3. I love this product because it can remove my stubborn eye makeup (lash glue) and waterproof mascara easily without having to rub hard on my eyes. I can clean my whole face with just one towelette (no Q-tips, cotton pads, etc). I will continue using this product until I find a better one (I will share of course). (:

#2: Kirkland Signature Pre-Moistened Daily Facial Cleansing Towelettes

Company Description:

Quilted for deep cleansing. Fresh and clean fragrance. Alcohol and oil free, hypoallergenic, and for all skin types. Pre-moisted towelettes with Camomile, triple tea complex, and vitamin E.

* This product does wonders for my mom and takes off all her makeup (she wears light makeup). I decided to try it for myself, and did not like it. It takes off my face makeup fine, but not my eye makeup. Also, this product irritated my skin like crazy! After using this for a month, my skin develop rough patches...not happy! But this did work for my mom, and my sensitive skin is to blame.

#3: Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil (White Recovery Brightening Cleansing Oil)

Company Description:

The advanced gentle formula is fortified with Vitamin C Derivative OS, known for its brightening properties to deliver bight, smooth, translucent skin empowered with newly advanced HPO system which dramatically increases removability of waterproof mascara and long-lasting makeup. Impurities are perfectly removed for luminous clarity and soft supple skin with one-step cleansing.

* This used to be my favorite product. I have used this cleaning oil for years and years. I've recently just stop using it because this product is no longer available for purchase in the United States. You can still buy it online, but I don't want to do that (that's why I turned to MAC) lol. This cleaning oil is gentle and does a pretty good job taking off my eye makeup, but it's still not good enough to take off my lash glue. I love everything about this product except the lash glue part and that it leaves my eye blurry after using it. I would recommend this cleansing oil to people that does not wear heavy eye makeup.

#4: Biore Makeup Removing Perfect Oil

Company Description:

Face washing oil. Penetrates deep into pores, and lifts excess oil and dirt from skin.

* This product is highly rated in Japanese and Chinese magazines. After seeing it in magazines, I've decided to try it (this was the first cleansing oil product that I've used). It has a nice fragrance and is gentle enough to use on my skin. The only dislike is that it kind of burns my eyes after using it. This can be bought at Japanese stores or supermarkets. I still got one bottle left is any friends are willing to take it off my hand (:

Mattifies and refines pores
This bi-phase face toner is recommended for combination and oily skin. The first phase purifies and the second phase mattifies.

*After using this toner, my face is instantly mattified and my skin feels very refreshed. It takes away all the excess oil left on my face. You can use this day and night, but I've chose to use it in the morning. I've been using this toner for years and is still loving it.

*The first time I used this products I instantly fell in love with its silky texture. Twisting off the capsule and squeezing the insides out is kinda like squeezing out the insides of a grape lol. The texture is silky and smooth. I love this product, but I don't know if I will be purchasing it again. The reason is because I haven't really seen any results.

*This product WORKS! The first time I went to purchase this, everything was sold out. It took me a couple more times to finally get my hands on this product. It really does everything it says it would do. After using this for about 2 month, My face is brightened (looks better w/o makeup...makes my skin look less dead). Now my skin is more radiant (:It also states that it would lighten acne scars, but I'm not sure about this because I do not have much acne.

*I like this product. I like the texture and the scent, its very soothing and very silky. I'm not sure about the effects though. But I've heard good reviews from friends. The reason I bought this was for anti-aging precaution and to prevent premature aging.

6. Kiehl's: Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado

This creamy preparation with avocado oil, gently moisturizes the delicate eye area.

*This is my favorite morning eye cream! I have very fine lines under my eye due to dryness. After using this product for years the fine lines have soften a lot. I only use this during the day because it has a nice refreshing texture that doesn't leave a sticky residue. (Also I prefer to use anti-aging eye creams at night)

7. Fusion: PureFusion Eye Concentrate (discontinued)

*I believe this product is discontinued. I received this as a gift and just started to try it out. The texture is nice and refreshing but since it's discontinued, I do not recommend it to anyone. It's not really my favorite, I'm just trying to use it up so I don't waste it. lol

8. Kiehl's: Rare Earth Pore Minimizing Lotion with Amazonian White Clay

*I use this product along with the rice toner for its pore reducing effect. I love this lotion! This lotion feels refreshing on the skin and does not feel sticky on the skin, and does not have any unpleasant scent like some natural lotions.

10. Rosebud Perfume Co: Rosebud Salve

This cult-favorite, multi-purpose lip balm soothes dry lips, calms and heals irritation, and soothes the sting of minor burns. Try dabbing on dry elbows or knees to condition, and relieve dryness. Also an excellent remedy for the treatment of diaper rash.

*My favorite lip treatment. I use to suffer from very chapped lips. I tried using Aquaphor's healing ointment but it only relieves my chapped lips for some time. Ever since I started using the Rosebud Salve every morning and night, I haven't had dried lips (: LOVE LOVE LOVE. I also use the Rosebud Minted Rose Lip Balm (also by the same company)-I leave this one in my purse.

Everyday Bronze Eye Look

This is a new look that I've started to do last week. Another blogger (StyleSuzi) actually inspired me to try out this look. Of course, I used the products that I already own to do this look. Also, mine turned out very different because I made it into my own to suits my features better.

Steps:

1.Using Bobbi Brown's eyeshadow in Sunlight, apply the shadow all over your lid.

2. Using MAC's Amber Lights, apply generously on the upper eyelid and lower corner of lash line.

3. Using MAC's Tempting, apply on the outer V and crease area.

4. Using MAC's All That Glitter, apply to the front of the lower lash line.

5. Using PopBeauty's Naked Smolder Palette, apply the shimmery white eyeshadow to the inner corner (Tearduct).

6. Using Maybelline's Eyestudio Gel Liner in Blackest Black, line the whole eye and wing out.

7. Apply Top and Bottom false lashes.

8. DONE!
