With my husband's understanding of R.C. cars and trucks when you send from the remote and the car response he thought with today's wireless modems and such that it would be nice if you could have some of the band instruments to be wireless. He went on a search online and came up with wireless guitar system, check it out at MusiciansFriend.com. I don't think my husband has slept the last week thinking about how many different things he could do with it.

Landscaping timber sale

Earlier today we found out it was the last day for spring black Friday sale at Home Depot. So we hooked on to our wagon with our truck and off we went. Their landscaping timber was discounted by about forty percent so we picked up twenty for us and ten for my mother in law that desperately needs hers replaced hopefully we can get to it this weekend.

Its so awesome to see the face on our son when we buy a new or different instrument. Our son's ears are incredible when it comes to tuning just about anything you can. After buying the paul reed smith at guitarcenter.com I was playing it for a while when he came home from school. He looked at me with a smile took it from me sat down and he just had to adjust it so funny to see how serious he is when it comes to the sound being perfect.

Spring or winter

Well for one week in New York State we thought it was spring but boy we were wrong. In two days we had twenty three inches of snow so my husband got the snow blower out to clear the driveway. As soon as he started it the belt blew to the auger. Good thing we have Isuzu Vehicross which are four wheel drive SUV's to get out of the driveway. He ordered a belt but the guy said they were on back order and now we're back to a rainy cold spring. Snow is gone.

Its great when your kids are musically inclined instead of playing games online all day because they get mad when you tell them to stop you can always ask them to take time out to play something on the piano or guitar or xylophone. Whatever happens to be the instrument of their choice. Its going to be a lot easier buying gifts at guitar center products they even have quite a few products that are discounted at the end of this year.

Apartment

This is the first time in years that we had someone moved out of our apartment and actually there was no damage whatsoever. The only problem with that is at the moment we only had about eighty percent of the security. At least in the meantime we have up to thirty days to return it and that's a good thing because by then we will easily have the rest of the money.

This summer going on vacation was less affordable so we had to find different things to do that were more affordable. We ended up going camping at a few different Adirondack Parks. After the first camping trip for a weekend our ten year old son decided that he couldn't live without his yamaha dgx 505. The next trip to a different campground after he was playing it for awhile he had quite a few other young kids that came over to hear him play.

2001 MXZX ski-do snowmobile

After two years of being covered up my husband finally decided to uncover our 2001 ski do MXZX to see what it needed. He looked at this that and the other trying to remember what went wrong. Basically, a filter inside the gas tank came off because a deteriorated line in the tank fell apart. All the little chips of plastic and rubber from that line got sucked up into the fuel pump and carburetors so he ended up taking it to be fixed. He could have done it himself but there's too many things going on in life at the moment. So it cost us three hundred eighty five dollars and it seems to be running great now just have to wait for snow.

The things your kids needs these days at least when he ask for this it wasn't another tablet that he could blow up. I sat down and had to ask him why he needed it. And of course my son was ecstatic on giving me a description and what he could use it for and how much better he would be if we had one. It took him a few minutes to figure out the guitar center's bbe supa charger but the very next day he had to show me how new and improved he is for this.

Camper renovation

My husband just renovated the camper that was left to him when his dad had passed away. Doing a complete new floor along with linoleum on top of the new floor it's turning out great. He didn't realize that he would have to strip and clean and then re-caulk all the seams on the camper now we are just waiting for warmer weather so it's enjoyable when we go up North for a weekend.

Our live in basement stays about seventy five degrees year round. This we thought would keep all the band equipment in good shape over the years. But after checking everything out downstairs my husband found one of the amps has a problem also one of the mixing boards doesn't sound right. I guess next month after my federal tax return comes back I'll be checking on some new equipment's through Musician Friend music shops hopefully I won't need much.

Salt water aquarium problem

My husband spent many years setting up the different salt water aquariums. He just gets everything perfect and then from nowhere the Eyck fish disease comes along. It isn't like we added a new fish or did something different to create it. It just shows up and weeks have it on the fish in the aquarium. This time he's lost two of his biggest priced fish. Very upsetting.

Its amazing to find our son playing by ear on his organ keyboard. When he was first introduced to his music teacher without trying he put on a little show . Our son is in fourth grade and the teacher was the high school band teacher. As my son played I could see the envy in the music teacher's face. My son started out with the very simple song when he was done he asked the music teacher if he wanted to hear more so my son continued and finished with the song amazing grace.

Usually we burn wood in our wood stove during the winter but after buying a light smart heater and running it all month burning wood is out of the question. This very small energy efficient heater running all the time on a thermostat control cost us about ninety extra dollars a month. Burning wood cost us about a hundred and twenty dollars a month with a lot of extra work cleaning the wood stove and worrying about fires.

My husband as a contractor travelling around the tri state area would always try to find away to save on gas at one point figured out that the fifteen windows he had to pick up to Pennsylvania if they stood on edge they would fit perfectly into our little Amigo truck. So perfectly that the only space left in the truck in the back was for the folding hand cart. It made it so much easier to move the windows from the warehouse to the curve side for loading.

I can't believe the weather its the middle of December and we're still holding in the daytime temperatures in the fifties. Whether there will be snow for Christmas or not. We have had winter's like these in the past and had green Christmas days. We are also had green Christmas Eve's to wake up to two foot of snow in Central New York. We get the lake effect from Lake Ontario.

Yamaha sound

When building our house my husband wanted to make sure that all the wiring was in place just in case we wanted to install a few different things in the future. So every room is wired for cable, alarm system, PA system and also a terrific sound system that runs off an old sansui am/fm receiver. Recently he has purchased a yamaha sound system to replace all the speakers that were installed in 1994. The old speakers lasted a long time and we know with the Yamaha name that these will last forever.

So coming home from labor day from camping it was ninety plus degrees outdoors. As we opened the front door of the house it was also close to ninety inside. Who would think to leave the air-conditioner on all weekend while we were gone? As soon as my husband turned on the air-conditioner he started sneezing from the dust that he should have cleaned out to filter first before turning it on. It had been at least a month since the AC was on and it must have been some mold that hit him straight in the face as he turned it on. He shut it off but its too late for him he did pull the filter and clean it afterwards.

So I'm cleaning the house last weekend my son and my husband were suppose to just go to the store and pick up a few things. I see that they were running late so I called and he reassured me they will be home soon. As my husband pulled in a truck pulled in behind him loaded with something in the back. As I got closer and my husband started talking to me he told me my son and himself had stopped at a garage sale and the man in the truck gave him a great deal on just about everything we need to set up a band including two sweet guitars with ten gauge strings that looked brand new.

So far this summer turned out to be a wet one. We were thinking about this weekend to go camping and I'm glad we changed our mind because its going to rain on and off all weekend. With the nights going into the high 40's to mid 50's its not comfortable to be wet and cold. Reminds me of the show naked and afraid. The poor people on that show at least being eaten by mosquitoes and ticks not to mention some of them not finding good water to drink or anything to eat. That's horrible.

Every year my husband's work place enters into a charitable event trying to make sure that every worker volunteers some of their time is hard to do. But this year the boss decided to buy logo printed table cover. They were so bright they drew a lot of attention to all the safety programs that we have. For every worker that volunteered the boss also had made up table clothes with each families name.

Yard sale

Our first yard sale turned out better than expected. We had lots of stuff to get rid of cleaning out a lot of things of the old shed that we been storing for years. What we didn't expect was when our neighbor seen us having the sale ask if she can bring us over some of her stuff. A few things she brought over and then she asked my husband and myself to basically clean out her garage and bring it over. Most of her things didn't sell and we had to deal with nicotine covered items. We put their stuff over to one side and some people were disgusted with it. So next time she can have her own sale of sticky stuff. We ended up also carrying all of her stuff back because she said she was too busy.

My mother in law was telling me when she went to school the school had quite a few loaner instruments fro the children. It was first come first serve as to what type of the musical instrument that you got and whatever was left over if you didn't like it then you didn't play any. At first, my step daughter wanted to play a trumpet but now buying a clarinet is all she has on her mind because her best girlfriend is playing one in school.

Easter Sunday

It's Easter Sunday. Outside is such a gloomy day I can remember years in the past when it was at least 60 degrees so the kids could have an Easter egg hunt outdoors. So this year we're having our Easter egg hunt inside. After the kids are done finding all the eggs the house was a wreck. The kids thought the Easter bunny would go to extremes hiding the eggs in tough places but hiding them in plain sight was the clue. The kids just walk right by some of the eggs.

Best Baby Shower checklist

It was such a beautiful day growing up in my neighborhood I'd always had my two girlfriends through thick and thin we would even be on the phone every night trying to figure out what we were wearing to school the next day. All of us got married in the same year and two of the guys were actually close friends to begin with. I don't know if it was a raise or not but the three of us girls were all pregnant at the same time. We put in hours and hours planning our own baby shower. The list of people grew and grew as the date got closer. Because we wanted it so perfect we sought the advice of a planner that could take care of all the little details that we might have overlooked. The original place that we thought we would have it at was too small for all the people that we invited. Considering we were inviting couples along with their small children this was a baby shower to ignite all baby showers. The Best Baby Shower checklist was gone over more than a Christmas present list. It turned out so wonderful for all of us. Now our children can grow up as we dis as friends forever we hope. Without this site and the help that became from it it would have been a lesser occasion.
