GlogsterEDU, my favorite tool where I am proud to be the 1-st Romanian GlogsterEdu Ambassador made a team with Intel Education and they organize in partenership Intel Teach Essentials Course in Prague, Czech Republic . They invite Glogster Edu Ambassadors all over the Europe to take part at this exciting opportunity and fortunatelly I will be in Prague between 22 - 25 and will take part to this Intel training who will provide us with the skills to integrate technology into our existing curriculum with the ultimate goal of improving student learning . An organization established by MIT and Harvard that will develop an open-source technology platform to deliver online courses. EdX will support Harvard and MIT faculty in conducting research on teaching and learning on campus through tools that enrich classroom and laboratory experiences. At the same time, edX also will reach learners around the world through online course materials. The edX website will begin by hosting MITx and Harvardx content, with the goal of adding content from other universities interested in joining the platform. edX will also support the Harvard and MIT faculty in conducting research on teaching and learning.

Who will lead edX?

EdX is a priority for the leadership of both Harvard and MIT, and it will be governed by a board made up of key leaders from both institutions, appointed by each university’s president. MIT Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Anant Agarwal will be the initial President of edX and will report to the board.

What technology will edX use?

An open-source online learning platform that will feature teaching designed specifically for the web. Features will include: self-paced learning, online discussion groups, wiki-based collaborative learning, assessment of learning as a student progresses through a course, and online laboratories. The platform will also serve as a laboratory from which data will be gathered to better understand how students learn. With SlideDog you can use playlists to play multiple slide shows one after the other. I was pleased to see that my project, eSafety4eTwinners - Web 2.0 and social media use eTwinners to prevent school dropout "was accepted in the exhibition Innovators Forum in Education organized by Microsoft, Romanian Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport and EOS Foundation .So I was participated in Brasov, Aro Palace Hotel on 1 - 2 March 2012 Innovators Forum in Education which was held in conjunction with the Meeting of National Education MECTS and so our projects have been visited in the Exhibition, and appreciated by general inspectors and other inspectors who were present at the event. In this special event experts have shared us the latest news in the Microsoft field. Thus I learned that Microsoft has released a new platform for Microsoft Partners in Learning http://www.pil-network.com/ Network with many facilities for teachers worldwide, and Microsoft experts showed us the new Microsoft tablets of 12 and 10 inches and showed us some features offered by Windows 8 touch version that was released a few days ago. We also had a video conference at the event with Adina Popa from a Patfinder American school who organized # globaled11 . Also during this session and headteachers of Mentor and Patfinder schools from Romania have explained us the benefits obtained as innovative schools.

The two projects who will represent Romania in Lisbon on 25 March at the European Forum are: ,, Natural Resources "- Secondary School Nr. Galati 29 selected by the jury on the 1st place and ,, The story of a sheet of paper" - School grades I-VIII Panticeu, Cluj selected by public vote. I am also proud that the project in our county,, traditional houses Severin "coordinated by Mr. Tudor Deaconu and Remus got a deserved 3 place .

These technologies can stimulate discussion, open gateway to knowledge, promoting creativity and innovation for effective lifelong learning . Pulling Piaget and Papert , the use of participatory media tools in education is typically geared towards, creating a more student centered, adaptive environnement where learners can contribute to the course material, formulate and express their own insights and opinion, construct their own understanding of material by connecting concepts, to personal experience or current events, and learn from one another in collaborative environments .Web 2.0 , social media and other digital and information technologies are powerful and interesting tools, which open up new opportunities for everyone and for this reason teachers and students must know how to use it nowadays in a safe mode

In the same time students are happy to came at schools where they learn about new tools and apps web 2.0 and social media and also they learn how to integrate in a safe mode new digital technologies in their classroom ,and this may prevent early school dropout . Although there are students with special needs , if they develop digital skills easier to integrate into the labor market today as most employers require computer literacy skills when hiring.

Web 2.0 and social media can bring a new dimension and can reform education around the word because electronic communication helps teachers and students to learn from each other. These new technologies can stimulate discussion, open gateway through knowledge, promote creativity and innovation for effective learning. Teacher and also students should have an entitlement to safe internet access at all times.
Pulling Piaget and Papert, the use of participatory media tools in education is typically geared towards, creating a more student centered, adaptive environnement where learners can contribute to the course material, formulate and express their own insights and opinion, construct their own understanding of material by connecting concepts, to personal experience or current events, and learn from one another in collaborative environments. Web 2.0, social media and other digital and information technologies are powerful and interesting tools, which open up new opportunities for everyone and for this reason teachers and students must know how to use it nowadays in a safety mode.

Curation is King of Knowledge in Social Media and the Art of : searching, selecting, sharing/bookmarking , tagging, organizing, interaction, communication . Steve Rosenbaum describe in his book Curation : (p 3-4) Curation is about adding value from humans … Curation is very much the core shift in commerce, editorial, and communities that require highly qualified humans. Humans aren’t extra, or special, or enhancements; humans arecurators. They do what no computer can possibly achieve.
(p 12-13) No longer is the algorithm in charge. Human curators have become essential software. What emerges is new human and computer collaboration … The important news of the emergence of a Curation Nation is that humans are very much back in charge.The Internet Curator's role is to seek on the web information related to a specific domain, filter them, select them, organise, share and present them in a unique way.
Now, if you have done any of that work before, you should know that doing so has many benefits, but is also very time consuming. I mean, you can always scour your friends blogs, do a search, visit news sites or other trusted sources available to you. But then, there is the matter of putting them all together, by copying and pasting, editing, among other things.
In essence, you choose a topic, research for the best articles out there, combine them into a post, publish, and share it to the world. That’s curating content!

What gather people together are their passions! We don’t always share our passions with our friends: especially if they are unusual.

Sometimes you find that it’s too risky to share links with your family, your colleagues or old classmates. They will also not necessarily be very interested in your passions. And if you are a little bit curious (we are all), you will read the content on topics curated by other users who share the same interest, and you will comment their links.

Anybody who has ever wanted to keep a webpage (about a favorite movie, for researching travel, for conducting research or just because there are things you've found that you don't want to lose...) to retrieve it one day or to share it with someone. This means a lot of people!

Curation has always been an underrated form of creation and it is generally the selection of, care for and presentation of the objects entered into a collection, whether that collection is physical (such as items in a museum) , digital (such as entries in Wikipedia) . Today I use gr8 curation tools many in beta for curating social media ( tools, apps, articles , blog posts , tweets , videos , photos and much more ) like scoop.it , perltrees , postano , shareist , storify , chirpstory , curated.by and bagtheweb .
My favorite are 4 scoop.it , pearltrees , postano , shareist, but every day appear new curation tools who prepair the aparition of Semantic Web who is driving the evolution of the current Web by enabling users to find, share, and combine information more easily . For example delicious tool is a kind of curation, but this new curation tools allows your readers to add comments and suggestion for evry post .
The emphasis of curation may vary among:
The selection process - such as the use of expertise or expert advice to decide what items or content should be added to a collection or archive.
The caretaking process - controlling the decay of historical object (such as census records) .
Presentation - determining how objects or records are displayed, including what metadata will be displayed along with them.
2011 is the begining of New Era of Curation and every day appear new awesome social media curation tools like write Mashable in the article 4 Promising Curation Tools That Help Make Sense of the web . When I read Mashable's article I allready used Pearltrees http://pearltrees.com/#/web20education and after I made #edtech20 team on pearltrees . When Tim Berners Lee originally conceived of the Internet, he envisioned three principal functions and I think that is curation
Allow anyone to access any type of document
Allow everyone to disseminate his or her own documents
Allow everyone to organize the entire collection of documents
Brian Solis write also in his website about curation and curators who play an important role in the evolution of new media, the reach of material information, and the social nicheworks that unite as a result. Curators promote interaction, collaboration, as well as education around the topics that are important to them. As such, services that empower curators will fill the void between creation and consumption. Forrester’s estimation of consumers of social content will erode from 70% to much lower numbers as many ease into social networking through curation – sharing with others the content that captivates their attention. The ease of doing so forever converts the static consumer into a productive curator or perhaps one day, a full fledged creator.
With creation and curation increasing the exchange of information commerce, we are moving new media toward the mainstream creating bridges between social and traditional media and the people who connect around related information. As such, what you discover and equally what you share creates an information economy rich with contextual and topical relevance linked through shared experiences.

Curation has always been an underrated form of creation and it is generally the selection of, care for and presentation of the objects entered into a collection, whether that collection is physical (such as items in a museum) , digital (such as entries in Wikipedia) . Today I use gr8 curation tools many in beta for curating social media ( tools, apps, articles , blog posts , tweets , videos , photos and much more ) like scoop.it , perltrees , postano , shareist , storify , chirpstory , curated.by and bagtheweb .
My favorite are 4 scoop.it , pearltrees , postano , shareist, but every day appear new curation tools who prepair the aparition of Semantic Web who is driving the evolution of the current Web by enabling users to find, share, and combine information more easily . For example delicious tool is a kind of curation, but this new curation tools allows your readers to add comments and suggestion for evry post .
The emphasis of curation may vary among:
The selection process - such as the use of expertise or expert advice to decide what items or content should be added to a collection or archive.
The caretaking process - controlling the decay of historical object (such as census records) .
Presentation - determining how objects or records are displayed, including what metadata will be displayed along with them.
2011 is the begining of New Era of Curation and every day appear new awesome social media curation tools like write Mashable in the article 4 Promising Curation Tools That Help Make Sense of the web . Forrester’s estimation of consumers of social content will erode from 70% to much lower numbers as many ease into social networking through curation – sharing with others the content that captivates their attention. The ease of doing so forever converts the static consumer into a productive curator or perhaps one day, a full fledged creator.
With creation and curation increasing the exchange of information commerce, we are moving new media toward the mainstream creating bridges between social and traditional media and the people who connect around related information. As such, what you discover and equally what you share creates an information economy rich with contextual and topical relevance linked through shared experiences.

1. Wallwisher is the first edtool used for stiky note . You can post photos , videos , links and more in a wall .

When was your big bang?

Wallwisher was born out of the offices of SharedCopy in January 2008 (and you thought only living beings conceived). For over a year, the project was in a perpetual zombified state thanks to the academic commitments of the project's sole active janitor (pronounced 'yan - eetor'), Nitesh (@xiphar). In April 2009, the project was brought back from the dead. Where did the idea come from?
Wallwisher's janitor has a post-it overuse problem. He uses post-its as reminders, coasters, bookmarks, wrappers for used gum, to-do list managers, memos. So he decided to have some post-its for the web. SharedCopy, a startup that dealt with adding notes to web pages, therefore, came as a natural choice for the janitor's December internship. It was there that the janitor came up with the idea for using a sticky-note/noticeboard interface for communicating on the web. How is Wallwisher built?

Wallwisher is coded in PHP which is, as the name suggests, a language full of Pretty Horrible Practices. To find coding nirvana, therefore, Wallwisher uses the CodeIgniter PHP framework which has to be the next messiah many religions are waiting for.

On the front end, the coolness is possible thanks to the jQuery javascript library. Anyone out there who uses any other javascript library is, in the janitor's opinion, a web hater.

6.Linoit.com is a web application that provides you with an online canvas and allows you to post online stickies, pictures, videos, and attachments. You can also share your online canvas with others by sharing its URL. Sharing the URL would allow others to post stickies as well. You can probably see how Lino it could be used to conduct an online gallery walk. To give you an idea of what it could look like, I inserted an screenshot of an online canvas with pictures of four multiplication solutions and stickies with questions and comments posted around them. Now you can collaborate in groups using this interesting edtool .

Dear Teachers, Ressurection of Son of God is the biggest holiday of Christianity because our Savior Jesus Christ was sacrified for our sins on Cross of Golgota ( Calvary ) .
For this reason I develop with my students many religious projects and I want to present you a glogsteredu after International Contest ,, Ressurection of Son of God and the Renaissance of whole making " organized in International Project ,, Different, but Equal " and please add your feedback and comments here .

Also we collaborate with Dr Teresa Fernandes from Lisbon, Portugal in eTwinning project ,, Jesus Christ our Passover Lamb was sacrified for us . "
What is Passover What is Easter? For some of our students the season is often above all associated with eating chocolate eggs/ bunnies or sugared almonds . At family gatherings, when relatives or friends refer to the First Passover in Egypt, to The Last Supper, to The Gethsemane Conflicts, or even to Jesus’ Trials, Death, Resurrection or Ascension, these youngsters have sometimes difficulty in following the reasoning .Well known films like The Prince of Egypt or The Passion act sometimes as mediators of meaning, so that young people may fit into the context of such conversations … This central information is clarified by bringing together several episodes in the Old and New Testament: for example Isaac saved from death by the lamb graciously provided by God; the firstborns of the Israelites saved in Egypt by the blood of the perfect lamb put as mark in the doors of their houses to keep death away; Jesus announced by John the Baptist as the unique, perfect, innocent Lamb approved by God; the vicarious Death and Resurrection of Christ to draw every sin and everyman unto Himself; Jesus, the Lamb of God, ascending and glorified in heaven, sitting on the throne as Ruler over rulers. All these point to the central importance of the Lamb both for the Jews ( Passover ) and for the Christians ( Easter ) as substitute and deliverer, both taking the place of people and rescuing them from physical / spiritual death, and conquering eternal life for the redeemed and becoming advocate and judge Himself. How many of our students know that the fact that a Lamb/young sheep is still preferred course in the Easter menu in many European countries had its origin in the first Passover in Egypt, about three thousand years ago? Also the instruction in the Old Testament that the High Priest was allowed to present himself only once in a year before God in the Holy of Holies contrasts with the fact that in the New Testament we read the curtain of the temple was suddenly torn as Jesus died, meaning with that that the communication with God was now open to personal relationship for everyone interested in having it . How many of them know that in the Old Testament the High Priest had to confess his sins and the people’s sins over the scapegoat as prerequisite to enter the Holy of Holies, and only after that could he send the substitution scapegoat to the desert to die in the place of the people - a type of Jesus in the New Testament, who took over Himself all the people’s sins and because of them was severely punished and put to death.

Amazingly, it's five years ago today that the first tweet was sent and twitter have a Tiny team . Over these years, Twitter has matured and made an impact in the areas of social responsibility, politics, sports, media, and more.
