Institutions proclaiming to dedicate their time and resources to the truth are interested in nothing other than more drugs (a.k.a. money and business schools), the school of philosophy has already fallen under the four horsemen existentialism, nihilism, antinatalism and death as always, and the stupid egomaniacs hiding behind jargon and publications have the audacity to compare theology with the study of unicorns and fairy-tales.

Note that I'm not saying we should ditch science and reason. The key is the order of precedence. It should be God before reason, rather than reason alone. We end up losing reason if we reason without God. We cannot derive good and evil with reason alone and we end up with idiots who cannot tell if reality is real.

Christmas 2012

I am four year old already and this is my fourth Christmas. I have not been used to going to my Godparents during Christmas time. I usually let them send their gifts and greeting whenever they want. With or without it actually does not matter to me. I have been raised by my parents not to depend much on what other people can offer me while I do know how to appreciate things being given to me. I don't care if it would reach my wedding day before they remember me as their Godchild. What matters most is the memories that I can build with them during that special day. With that, I would probably look for someone who is professional enough to create something like halifax wedding photography. This might come probably twenty years or more from now and I would expect that wedding photographer halifax still exists by that time. For now, I would want to think about the present occasion - the 2012 Christmas season. I have received several gifts already plus few amounts of money. The money I will save in my coin bank as I need to raise funds further for the bicycle that I am planning to buy. Merry Christmas everyone!

Coi and School

Yes, my son is now attending his Kinder school. I am amazed by the curriculum preschools are offering nowadays. I find it harder than the subjects and activities during my time. I guess it would be much easier to avail of miami marlins tickets, kansas city royals tickets or even los_angeles angels of anaheim tickets than reading his books. But of course, I would need to persevere in guiding him so he will more encouraged and determined to finish his studies. In all fairness to my son, I really think Coi is a fast learner just like his mom. :)

NANNY FOR KINDER COI

Coi is turning four this coming June 24, 2012 and so he should be in school already. Until this time, I have not yet found an institution for me to send him to. It was really tough as I have made finding a nanny a prerequisite. I am really having a hard time thinking how I am going to send him to school if there’s no one to look after him. Lord, I am praying hard for this. I need a dependable and caring nanny whom can stay with us permanently. Hope you can send me one. I trust in You.

Coi and Ants

I must admit I don't have so much of time to teach my son just about anything. At his age of four (4) year-old he doesn't know how to read and write even his own name yet, unlike any other kids. A while ago we watched his daddy played volleyball. The location of the court is a bit grassy around and we haven't noticed those tiny creatures which we have disturbed. Suddenly I heard coi shouting "ants, ants" (in English huh!!!). I was so surprised as I do not know that he already knew the english term for "langgam" (in Filipino). Maybe it is just simple but every progress coi shows continue to amaze me. I am just so proud of him.

Every night upon reaching home, coi would ask me "Did you get something for me, momi?". There are moments when I would respond "of course baby, I brought you your favorite gummy candies"; while there are times I would say either that I was not able to get anything or I simply forgot to. But what he usually asks from me is the "Yakult" a probiotic dairy drink. He has used to taking in one or two servings of it. I do believe that it is beneficial for him as it is a source of good bacteria Lactobacillus casei that would improve digestion. So what I am doing these days is I am just leaving him a budget so he could buy on his own from a nearby store.

Coi and Pick-Up Lines

Can you imagine a kid delivering pick-up lines? Well my son does. And he is certainly doing well in this thing. You can not help yourself but laugh even in the anticipation of repeating phrases. He will always say "momi, mais ka ba?", then I will respond to him saying "bakit po?"; he will answer back with "e kase ang corny mo". He actually has a lot of questions with the same response like "unan ka ba?", "napapagod ka na ba?" with the reply of "e kase ang corny mo". But this one is his favorite. "momi, cactus ka ba?", "bakit po?"; " e kase natutusok ako. That was the very first pick up line that he learned that from his cousin. But what I am trying to emphasize more is no matter how irrelevant the thought of what he delivers, it is still funny in its sense. I just love coicoi. Hihi!

Coi And Kumon

Few days ago when I tried to enroll Coi at Kumon. I attended the orientation and got a schedule for his diagnostic test. At first he did not respond. He did not even touch the test booklet. We assumed may it was because of the new face he had encountered - the teacher. With that we have been rescheduled. The next time he tries he was ready. He answered the test booklet and did his best. However, still he was not accepted. It's because he is so playful and the teachers are afraid that he might not be able to progress the way a student should be. We were advised to return on September of this year. I hope he'll be admitted by that time.

Coi loves to play ball. I think I have bought him more than two balls of different colors, sizes and design. I am dreaming for him to become a known basketball player in the future but I also would like to expose him not just in basketball but in other games as well. That way he will get the chance to see how exciting a football could be. Coi and Faith makes our family complete. Faith acts as Coi's older sister. She is very responsible and sweet to his baby brother Coi. Coi on the other hand looks up to her ate. He loves playing with her. Faith tickles. Coi cuddles. It is a beautiful scene watching them in good bonding though they were not biological siblings. They both love to dance. They are actually these young people who have made our Christmas happy and meaningful.

Coi is back with us at home. He just had his new nanny. Her name is Sunshine. At least he already sleeps beside us. I have missed him for almost two months since his Tita Joy left. He has been taken care of by my hubby's sister to whom Coi happened to have emotional attachment even for just a short period of time. I just hope Shine would stay longer with us as Coi will start going to school next year. We need someone who can steadily look after him.

Coi in Need of Nanny Again

The last one who took care of cause was not actually a nanny. She's my first cousin who volunteered for only two months and last Sunday she left for the province as she needs to attend to her daughter's birthday. However, there is no certainty that she will be back to the deeds again. Now Coi is being taken care of my husband's sister and is not with me as they are living in another place. I am missing Coi and I really need somebody who will take care of him at our own home. =(

Coi's First Time to Watch on Big Screen

August 28 marks the day when Coi experience watching Movie in Cinema for the first time. We watched his all-time favorite Cars but this time the second season of it.Coi had fun and he was really amazed seeing such huge screen where his favorite Cars characters move and deliver dialogues. He just could not forget the moment like he wants to do it over and over again. I just wish I could give him that. A DVD would do but not on the mall cinema as obviously it would cost me a lot of money. Hihi!

We'll probably do watching again, we'll just wait for another good film to see.

Coi and Chicken Nuggets

I always make it a point to keep chicken nuggets present inside our refrigerator as it is my hubby's favorite.

Few days ago Coi learned to eat the thing as well and I guess he likes it too much.
This morning my cousin cooked the same for my packed lunch (baon) and when Coi saw it, he didn't stop until he finishes the whole thing. Poor mommy, no more for my "baon" but I don't care for as long as he eats so well it won't be a problem for mommy. Hihi!

I have got a lot of compliments about my son growing up fast and possessing the charming looks. I'd like to thank all those people giving their honest and flattering remarks.

It is such an overwhelming reaction for me as it would reflect to myself being Coi's mother as the good looks he has might have been inherited from me. Hihi!

Of course, anything that you may see in a child might originate on how the parents have raised him or her. ;-)

Coi Started Helping Me at 3

It is indeed hard to raise a child as you need to invest on a lot of things. From milk formula, disposable diapers, vitamins and other primary necessities of a young individual.

Lately Macoi just turned three and I am so glad that he already stopped taking formula through feeding bottles thus reducing his consumption, he has also stopped wearing diapers even at night. Imagine how big help he has done for me as I need not include that in our budget.

Thank you baby. Keep on eating a lot. I love You.

Macoi's First Time at Greenhills Shopping Centre

When Coicoi was just a little baby, I promised to take him to Greenhills Shopping Centre for him to see the Christmas display. I am just so glad that he doesn't know about the thing yet during those times.

Last Saturday, I had the chance to make it up to him. I took him together with my cousin to meet my friends at the Greenhills. Though it was a long commuting ride we had fun. We ate and of course we shopped for some things.

Coi just got a new toy courtesy of her Godmothers - a battery operated airplane which he take from a toy stall. It's been that tiring but we enjoyed the day. =)

Last Friday, Macoi just turned three. His birthday was some sort of watery as it was raining so hard as there was actually a typhoon so we had no choice but to stay at home.

I cooked his all-time favorite spaghetti, bought him a chocolate cake and we celebrated it simply with three of our friends.

The next day we went to mall and there we had some studio picture. Yearly on his birthday I make it a point to take him a decent type of picture for framing and display.

Macoi Just Got A Nanny

For almost three years, Coi got used to the tender loving care of my aunt (my uncle's wife). Just recently when we had this need to hire a nanny to look after him as aunt can no longer perform such.

So far, she gets along well. But just like any other first timers, nanny needs a lot of instructions just as to get a job done.

She is supposed to act not just as a nanny but an all-around house help. But the most important thing I have told her is to prioritize Coi over any other things.

I just hope she can stay longer with us and that she will be able to help me to discipline Coi the way we his Dad and I want him to be.

A Weekend with Little Einsteins

Coi got finally over Lightning McQueen and friends. This weekend he has chosen Little Einsteins for his watching pleasure. He then again acted with June, Quincy, Annie, Leo and of course Rocket. He even got a rocket toy with him while he sat on his little chair singing with the group.

Einstein helps a lot. I can do a lot of household chores without him roaming around trying to scatter all his toys. Also, seeing him enjoying what he is doing is such a stress elminating instance.

Yesterday, he had a chance to watch it with his cousin Ate April under the shade of a mango tree.

Dadi's Dinner Treat at King Bee

We arrived home around 7pm last Sunday. Coi is already having his dinner at that time. But since his Dad and I were hungry, we still went out for dinner. We took Coi with us and proceeded to the restaurant just across the subdivision.

Coi and Tristan

These photos were taken two weeks ago. My son Coi invited his closest friend in the neighborhood Tristan. They swam in the blue inflatable swimming pool I bought just last year.

I could disregard the amount of water used in that but not the manual process of pumping on the pool to have it inflated. It has caused pain in my hips and in my abdominal muscles. It was as if I had a heavy work out activity that day.

Coi and His New Hairstyle

Last week, we brought Coi to the Salon to have his hair cut. As usual, he is still afraid of the scissor or even of the electric shaver. We initially planned to make him matured in looks but that did not happened. We had no choice but get his hair shave into zero. At least it was not that complex for the hair dresser to do.
