This year I am so honored again to be part of her Case Me A Christmas Card series!!!

Here is the card I made where I cased (copy and share everything) a truly delightful card of hers.

I love Christmas.... allllll things Christmas!!! And making Christmas cards in all styles... this one is CAS... clean and simple.... and just as fun and sparkly I think!

Hi Hi Hi!!

Case Me A Christmas Card With Michelle Lupton

It's my favorite time of year!!

Well seriously... all of that wrapped into one here on my mountain is the BEST ever!! And today I'm joining the super talented Aussie Michelle Lupton for her series of Case Me A Christmas Card!!

I am so so excited and honored to be part of this fabulous blog series of hers... and of course it's Christmas cards which makes it extra special!

Michelle has chosen a card of mine to Case (copy and share everything) and I've chosen one of hers. A design that is a little outside my normal comfort level and challenges me a bit. You can see the card I chose of hers to Case: HERE.

My card uses that basic layout and of course a Christmas theme....

I used the really cool Picket Fence Studios Autumn Field stamp and embossed it in white, then did a little distress oxide blending before cutting it into inchies. I had this little glittery sentiment and some tiny snowflake embellies! One more Christmas card made into my stash!

Thank you Michelle for including me this year!! You are such an inspiration! Hugs from across the seas and over the mountains!!

Crushing On Cardstock Day 1 Cards!!

Happy Day!!

What a super busy month August has been ........... both in life and crafting!! I jumped in to the Crushing On Cardstock week of classes!!

You can find that on Online Card Classes where I've taken several classes and love it so much!!

Day 1 started on Monday and here are the cards from that day.... we learned several techniques and although I have most of the cards done from each day I will blog each day separately to make it easier to post in the gallery there as well as keep track of what I posted! lol

Creative Time is Priceless!

Happy Day!!

Spending time everyday in my craft room is the best! Watching the seasonal flora and fauna and being creative is exactly what I need! It's been wonderful to find some crafty challenges and stamp with friends via Zoom and FaceTime! Here are a few cards and challenges from this week.........

First is the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge. I so love my mousies and this time the challenge is to make it small... so here's a little gift tag I had fun coloring while binge watching yet another favorite show - 911 Lonestar - and truly I am enjoying just slowing down when I color and embracing the process. Next up some of My Favorite Things stamps which just happen to be some of my favorite things! The MFT Sketch Challenge this week is so cool and fit my rainbowy state of mind! Made a quick fun background with some acrylic paints and my gel press! Check out the challenge and play along!

Now a Simon Says Challenge with a patriotic twist......some red, white and blue flowers. I admit I can struggle with copic coloring reds... so this is a mix of mayhap 10 different reds and pinks. LOL Stop by and join in the fun too!

Most specifically my oldest who is a very talented non-binary artist and the brother of my heart who makes me laugh all the time!

I am a Proud Mom and a fierce Mama Bear belonging to the MomHugs organization!!

Rainbow Sparkle..... and Wildlife!!

Happy Day!!

We've been traveling to and around our beautiful Grand Tetons but still have had some creative time as well.... I am learning how to pack so that stamping in the RV is quite enjoyable!! LOL

Here's a card for today's CAS challenge at Splitcoast.... I call it Rainbow Sparkle specifically because that would TOTALLY have been my hippie name!! I was born in the time of the hippies but sadly my childhood was not great to put it mildly. So my imagination had me named Rainbow Sparkle and growing up in a fabulously nature-y and beautiful community of hippie moms and dads and siblings!! Yep... and inspired by THAT childhood.... today's card is a monochromatic rainbow.... using pinks and glitter!!! The rainbow die is MFT and the hugs die is Lawn Fawn!

And now.......... just a taste of some of our wildlife adventures.......... you all KNOW how we adore seeing our mama grizzly bears and cubs every year!!! This year the famous Grizzly 399 had her quads.... well they're 1 year old toddlers now and sooooooo fun to watch!!!! As well as the other gorgeous creatures we're always so thrilled to see! Again.... see why I'm a hippie child with a love and passion for Mother Nature?!

Coloring, Challenges and Snowstorms... Oh My!

Happy Spring!!!

Yep... and Springtime in the Rockies means SNOW!!! Trust me... we WANT the snow so our wildfire season isn't quite as scary!! Plus... I mean... isn't my mountain just beautiful in the snow?!! Playing with some photography and turned this into a black and white still! :)

She's awesome!

Now here's something different and cool!! Last weekend Lydia (Understandblue) had a workshop on making handmade journals!! OMG I had sooo much fun!! Friends, crafting and learning.... what can be better?? I made 4 so far... many more in the works!! Some have watercolor pages, others have different types of paper. The journals are different sizes with various paper for so many creative uses and gifts!

I've got lots more going on!! Definitely keep an eye out for more!! LOL

Last month my House Mouse card I made for hubby with the black and white theme was the House Mouse & Friends Challenge Blog winner!! EEEKS!! I was soooo surprised and happy!! I do so love my House Mousies!!

The technique had us making impressionism-like prints and then making them into a finished product! I made a card that is a little out of my usual. Ok well there IS some sparkle and embellishing.... BUT it's on a double black background and I'm really liking that!

Sunday Stamping

Happy Sunday!!

Sunday is the CAS challenge day for Splitcoast that I co-coordinate with my fabulous friend Misti! Sometimes I make my card ahead of time and others I make right before challenge time! LOL That's just the way I create!

So this Sunday the Splitcoast CAS challenge is to use a newsprint with an uplifting twist... and I also combined it with The Paper Players tic tac toe challenge. For that challenge I picked the diagonal of die cut, embossing and blue.

Happy Friday!

It's wonderful up here on the mountain! More snow and winter is gorgeous as always! Now let's hope we keep getting lots of snow so our fire danger is down this year!

And my craft room is newly organized!! Thanks in part to my amazing sister-in-law who is also a stamper so understands the particulars of craft organizing! And spending time now learning new crafting techniques, coloring lots of images and making cards to send out smiles! It's my happy place!

This is a throwback stamp set from a company that isn't active any longer but I still use the stamps cuz I LOVE them so! There She Goes had such adorableness and I just can't resist cuteness!! Coloring with my Copics is a continual learning process which I enjoy so much! Usually I put on a true crime video or podcast and just color away!

Now these adorable critters are from Pink and Main.... again... the cuteness!! This is where the free coloring time I enjoy ends up creating who knows what?! lol Sometimes it means several images get tossed, but other times I find cool color combinations! One Day or Day One.....A Journey Begins

Well look at this! Years of neglect and then one day... with lots of art and dreams and books and journeys and many bumps and curves in life's road.... I'm back! So now I begin again....

With the help of my oldest, starting fresh on my blog was far less daunting! And combining a love of art, photography, stamping, and life's - well, everything - into one blog makes so much more sense!

So with that... who knows what each post will hold... but maybe you'll find something fun or pretty or interesting from time to time! :)
