We’ve been very busy at My SEO Tool over the last several months.
So busy in fact we haven’t had a lot of time to announce each system upgrade in detail.
Here is a comprehensive, chronological list of changes we’ve made to the system:

Improved Backlink Data

We have switched to a new backlink provider.
Over the next few days, you should start seeing a greater number of backlinks being discovered.

Refer a Friend Program

You can now earn up to 75% on referrals to My SEO Tool.
Get started by visiting the Account -> Refer a Friend section.
Note that this program is only available to paying members.

International Langauge Support

The interface can now properly display characters from virtually any international alphabet.
This simply means that entering a “foreign” character will no longer display strange text symbols.
Hopefully this will pave the way to translate our interface into your desired language.

Printer-Friendly Reporting

You can now create a PDF report that will print more clearly.
These reports can now include a cover page, table of contents and combine multiple reports into one single PDF.
You can also optionally choose to generate a CSV or XLS report.

Rankings Grouped by Keyword

We have simplified the ranking report by allowing you to group rankings by keyword.
Optionally, you can still group keywords by page if you’d like to view rankings in more detail.

Google Analytics: E-Commerce

The e-commerce data from Google Analytics is now available in the Analytics section.
This data is only available if you have previously enabled the e-commerce functionality in your analytics account.

Google Places, Bounce Rate & Local Searches

The Ranking section now includes rankings from Google Places, bounce rate statistics & local monthly searches for each keyword.

City Targeted Google & Bing Rankings

Search results will be different for your client in New York than search results in Los Angeles (for example).
My SEO Tool is the only software that allows you to perform rankings at the city-level.

Printable SEO Reports

Monitor Traffic Sources

Knowing how people are finding your website is crucial in SEO. You can now see a breakdown of organic searches, paid searches and website referrals. Use this information to quickly find your top traffic sources and react accordingly.

Track Locale

Keeping an eye on your websites performance from country to country has never been more crucial. Tracking visitor statistics by geographic location can help you identify existing problems & discover new opportunities.

Analyze Conversions

You may use Google Analytics to track goals on your website. This can be anything from the number of people visiting your pricing page to actual orders. Use our conversions area to monitor the success of the traffic that you are sending to a website.

Now that we have released our new version and have re-designed our website, we are going to focus on some smaller upgrades. The transformation of our software has paved the way for a lot of new ideas that we are just itching to implement. Most of the ideas have come from our customers, which is great.

However, we want to hear more from you which is why we have created a feature wish list. Simply vote on the features that you would like us to add. Here is an example:

Beta Preview – Tasks

We have added a Tasks section which allows you to organize your SEO campaign and set deadlines. Depending on how your run your SEO campaign, you can use this section for many different things. Here are some examples:

Get a link on the yahoo directory
Create a facebook account
Meet with client on April 22
Write a new blog post

You can also create a global list of tasks that you can apply in bulk to any new campaign that you create. For example, you could create a list of real estate related websites and apply them to any SEO campaign related to real estate.

Beta Preview – Keyword Analysis

Continuing from yesterdays post, the table of your keywords can be analyzed one step further. By clicking on a single keyword, you can see further details regarding optimization tests, link opportunities, ranking history, visitor history and backlinks. Once again, the optimize, build links and reports sections have been combined into this one section.

Some of the new features include automatic optimization tests, auto-discovered link building suggestions, and backlinks specific to your keyword phrase.

We have taken our Reports, Build Links and Optimize sections and put them all into one simple view. Now you can see all of your ranked keywords in one easy to read table. More importantly, you can select which statistics you would like to see pertaining to each of these keywords. Choose from Google rankings, Bing rankings, visitors, backlinks, competitors, monthly searches and optimizations.

Every SEO specialist performs their job differently. These view customizations will allow you to analyze your SEO campaign the way you’ve always intended.

As our customer-base has grown, a few key issues have come to our attention. We’ve found that many of our customers are interested in adding hundreds of clients to the system. This can cause some high load situations when loading the main menu.

Our new beta has been designed from the ground-up to better handle high volume customers. You can now group your customers into segments to simplify your management process.

Big Changes Coming

As some of you already know, we have been working hard on a new version of our software. However, this is no small upgrade. We have completely overhauled our entire application. We are constantly striving to be better and thus came up with a much easier approach to help you manage your SEO campaign. That being said, almost all of the features in our current version will be kept but simply organized in a different way.

We will be releasing this version as a beta within the next week or so. Check our blog daily for feature highlights.

Upgrade – Automated Reporting / IPhone Web App

It’s been a little while since we have announced an upgrade. We’ve added some noticeable new features so I thought it was time for another blog post. Let’s get started…

Automated Reporting

We have added the ability to schedule automated reports for both you and your clients. You have the option to automatically send reports daily, weekly or monthly based on your individual requirements.

These new reports are fully branded using your logo, company name and color scheme. Also, we now use your custom domain for images and links.

New IPhone Web App

We have made a beta iPhone Web App available to all active members. Simply point your mobile safari browser at our homepage and you will be redirected to our mobile site at http://m.myseotool.com.

Make sure you install it to your home screen by selecting the “+” icon located at the bottom of your Safari window.

This version only allows you to view activity as of now. Rest assured, we have big plans in the works to give you access to more of your client data.

Usability Enhancements

Just like every other release, we have made a bunch of tweaks to simplify and improve functionality. We have also taken the time to integrate a new charting library. This has resulted in a more colorful, polished look.

All these changes are a result of the feedback we get from our users on a daily basis. A big thank you to all our members for their invaluable input.
