I couldn't imagine how time flies so fast and how this blog has been neglected. Let's not count the months yet the year the absence of the entry here. I totally miss this area rumbling not so nonsense stuff.lol I won't promise but will try to update every now and then.

A lot of things has changed unfortunately not this template. It need a complete renovation, it's kind old but still I think it still stunning. I love my own. So much on going for the new look. Just hang on there.

Absolutely nothing interesting has happened lately. It was sad when I overlooked this blog for quite some days. I was focused on my other blog. I badly need time management. My day is occupied with much work on writing reviews to other blogs and paid post blogs. And a bunch of unexcused work to reason out my failure to update here. I honestly envy those bloggers who have countless blogs and manage all the same. I wonder how they divide their time. Well, I do the best I can here. I'm still organizing everything.

I'm a dreamer sometimes. My wildest dreams inspire me to work hard and hopefully if God’s willing, it will be granted. With each breath there's always a dream to achieve. It's normal I failed sometimes but it never stopped me of dreaming. There was one time, I sat under a tree all alone. I was entertained watching those cars passing by. I admired the women driving a car and I made a wish that hopefully one day I could drive my own car having conquered the fears of driving in the streets. Many times when I shared my small dreams to someone I received countless peculiar laughs and smiles. It was doubted I could overcome my nerves. So from then on I kept my dream to myself and continued dreaming.

These days I do drive a car but not own one yet, and even got my first hours on a motor bike. I'm very grateful to my dearest friend who supports me and my dreams! :)

I conquered my fears! :-)

Last week was a blast off despite the 36 hours without sleep. Saturday afternoon I got a visitor, Maricel the fiancé of my brother. She’s an accounting supervisor and because I’m running a small business she extended her precious time teaching me some skills of accounting and auditing. She’s also a good bookkeeper and thankfully it was free of charge! I picked her up in the afternoon then we started working. Afterwards I took her to the Mactan Shrine and it was her first time to visit the place in her 15 years stay on Cebu. The following day we went to the beach! I’ll share some pics one at the time because I can’t accommodate them all, especially now my connection is terribly slow. I’ll continue each day of posting our events to fill in the blank entries here also...So enjoy viewing!:)

...I don’t know until when I can surmount my laggard connection. I am using wireless smart bro since I transferred to my current location. It is too far from the city and too far from the server itself. I had even used the Antenna extension so that it would be easily connected to the satellite. But it still doesn’t help. Well in fairness: if the weather is good I sometimes have a fast connection unfortunately not that often. I hate it when I have to struggle to open my blog and of others, much more on grabbing a task. It would take longer time than the expiration minutes of the task..gggrrr…but then again, I have to surmount when I chose this area. I am wondering how my blog looks like with the entry I made yesterday. I still wasn't able to view it..huhuhu Could you please tell me how does my blog look? Was it arranged properly?

The plastic bag is important because it contains all my stuff to make me feel a woman. Including a pepper spray to fight off the ferry's rat. A Girl’s Night Out is for sure a classic spending of leisure time. To see all those faces together is a treat! But every once in a while a gathering like that can be distracting! Lately, I hoped to get some advice from them for a handful of gifts. But many a desk of department stores was flying by, without much attention of the displayed merchandise.

Being back home with not even half of the presents I was looking for, it dawned upon me there was still the internet to save me. I’ve been on shopwiki.com before, but it came to me as if there’s much more available now. Have they changed the site?

Anyway, I got some pretty nice stuff I wouldn’t have thought about in a real shop. Like that FM Radio Toaster for a gadget-minded small-room-living dear friend of mine at presentsforyou.com . The Book Light was a great find at topoftheline-travel.com . It’s for my sister, but..um, like to keep it myself. And my dad will be very pleased not to get new socks again, but that handy how-should-a-girl-come-to that-idea Paint Sprayer at surpluscomputers.com !

The next Girl’s Night Out desks may fly again in every direction. I’ll be on the Web for some real good choice! Thanks Wiki!

A 3 years old personal computer is bound for getting trouble with the spare parts, and I got it 3 days ago. I know that Pc is my life and can’t live without it. Could I compare the World Wide Web with a gigantic mall ? I’m not sure, but to push oneself, soakened and dripping into a dry welcoming place is a relieve for sure!

Shopwiki.com gave me that kind of feeling on the day when I was ill and I was bound to stay at home. How to get that kid, and myself, a smile? Well: parenting.ivillage.com gave me some ideas to try. It's getting hotter now.. everything is hot: economy and all. We all wanted to lower the pressure but so frustrating. I am leaving a pointers here to at least in our own we could slowly down the hottest perks of electric whatsoever. Try to apply these:

5. Don't use a CRT. Yes, we know you think it has better color and better response times, but if you're trying to save on power, CRTs are a Very Bad Idea. The well-regarded Sony G400 19", for example, was specced for 140W while operational, with an idle power consumption of 15W. The Acer AL2216 that I've recommended as a low-cost 22" LCD in the past doesn't just offer a larger screen, it also draws 40 percent of the power. According to Acer, operational power draw for the AL2216 is 55W, while idle power is just 2W.

Oh, and while you're at it, move into the 21st century with the rest of us. Install a real furnace, use something other than yak hair for your winter coat, and stop asking your wife to iron with a hot chunk of metal.

4. Ensure that either Intel SpeedStep or AMD Cool'N'Quiet are functional. Both Intel and AMD have built sophisticated throttling capabilities into their microprocessors that allow the chips to significantly reduce their speed, power consumption, and heat output. Originally, these features were designed for mobile processors, but they've been integrated into desktop and workstation processors as well.

The only problem is, enabling SpeedStep or C&Q can be a multistep process. It's perfectly possible for your CPU, motherboard, and OS to all support SpeedStep, but have the function turned off all the same. Don't assume that this is confined to prebuilt systems, either. Most motherboard vendors set their default BIOS settings for values that are least likely to cause trouble, and this can lead to certain power-saving features being disabled by default. AMD and Intel have both published guides to enabling their respective technologies, but you still may have to check BIOS settings to ensure everything is functional.

3. Manually adjust clockspeeds, voltages via software. If your system doesn't support SpeedStep/Cool'N'Quiet, or if you want to tweak those settings further, it's possible to use other software programs to do so. AMD offers AMD OverDrive, NVIDIA has nTune, Crystal CPUID can be quite useful for adjusting CPU multipliers (at least on K8/Intel parts—K10 support for multiplier adjustment isn't in yet), and many motherboard manufacturers have their own programs—though the quality of the software (and the accuracy of its reporting) can vary widely.

The best reason to adjust these settings via software is that nothing you set is permanent until you choose to lock the settings in and use them every boot. If you slip, and choose an option that locks the system, stability and proper functionality are just a hard reset away. One exception to this, is Asus's AI Suite—that program does make changes to the BIOS when you adjust settings in the software.

2. Manually adjust clockspeeds, voltages, via hardware. This is something you should only consider doing if you are comfortable inside a BIOS and know how to reset it via the jumper on the motherboard. If you plan on seriously tweaking the system for minimum power consumption, you may end up resetting quite a bit as you hunt for the appropriate settings. It's extremely difficult to give any guidance on which settings to adjust; different motherboards offer different settings, and may well call the same option two different things.

If you're serious enough about power conservation to do this kind of testing, be advised that you will spend a fair amount of time researching voltage ranges, what individual settings do, and how to adjust them to retain stability while cutting power consumption. This kind of fine-grained tuning can yield results—I was able to cut 17W off the 9350 at load just by adjusting CPU and memory controller voltages, and I could've undoubtedly achieved larger results had I taken the time to hand-tune the entire system.

1. Turn the damn thing off. This is the single-most important action one can take to reduce total system power consumption. Many people (myself included) tend to leave the system on 24/7. Cool'N'Quiet/SpeedStep reduce idle power consumption, but it still adds up over time.

When I inclined to the business of fashion I had several names I considered the best but did not pass DTI: dressmeup and fit4all. I’m maintaining these two for my paid blogging. Both supposedly contain more facts of fashion in which way you learn how significant fashion could be in our daily lives?! However I decided to changed the theme of fit4all: would talk about general life happening, surrounding technology, the life of a chef, the fruits of fashion, celebrities and the day today life of orinday people. The dressmeup will talk itself about the fashions: How this helps in our day-to-day activity and how this fashion affects our moods every now and then, how we can create fashion in our own unique way. You absolutely learn from this. I know some have a wide knowledge on this but wouldn’t it be nice to expand your knowledge with open arms and willingness to impart and benefit this to all of us? I surely share it here. Just keep loafed this blog, definitely there’s something you will gain. Hehehe

Man Auction off his Life

It awakened me in seconds when I tried to browse when the Yahoo txt “Man Auction off his Life!” caught my attention. I had to sigh while still uploading (my connection for now really sucks! ggrrr..). Was this man insane when he decided to put his life on Sale? Oohhh sounds interesting. There must be a huge reason. Couple of minutes, got an answer, and enjoyed a 2 hours review about all the perks he had in life. Amazingly, he had all the strength to leave what his life had offered him. I pondered about the reasons: LOVE! This is the strongest reason to live in this beautiful world. Life without Love is no life at all; it’s my favorite phrase from the movie Ever After. Whatever your position in this world; when love does not exist life turns so dull and dry. No matter how much you try to stand without love, it will creep on you. Nothing is perfect but do believe that you have all the freedom despite the imperfections you have. The right to correct a wrong situation.. When love fails it’s not the end of the world. You just need to structure another new interesting life. Just like this man did: he needed to get a new life and left his old familiar life.

I also faced downfalls in my love life and I’m, in honesty, spoon fed with pretty much all the facts of life and love. It hurt me a lot and decided to close down the shutters for love. I love my life but I muse about to give and get love.. I’ve woven a steel fence around my heart and feel guarded. No-one is allowed to hurt me, not even that cute dog of the neighbors. I don't have that much to auction like he did, but I'm in the best spirit to leave and walk into the future. There is life after love when everything is dealt with and ok. This man (and I) are looking forward what life has to offer in the future..lol

While I was surfing I read about this article. I never realized that wearing Flat and Flip-flops has healthy side effects to our lovely but often neglected feet.. because: don’t they serve us well and get us to the malls? For all I know it’s open shoes that set free air around our feet and make us feel more comfortable wearing them. Then it dawned upon me that I simply love wearing flats and flip-flops

Here are the Myths and Facts: I strongly suggest you to read it because I do care your feet. heheh

Myth: Flats, flip-flops and going barefoot are good for your feet.

Fact: "This is a common misconception, because we always hear about the problems with high heels," Vlahovic said in a prepared statement. "But these three present their own types of problems." Flip-flops provide no support, which can cause plantar fasciitis, ankle sprains and tendonitis. Wearing flats can lead to severe heel pain and blisters, crowding toes and conditions such as hammertoes and bunions. Walking barefoot leaves feet open to cuts, scrapes, bruises, and puncture wounds along with skin issues or nail injuries.

Diagnosis: Flip-flops or flats are fine for a few hours, but you should stretch your Achilles tendon for a bit if you wear them for longer than that, Vlahovic said. Save walking barefoot for around your own home, unless you are at risk for diabetes or have peripheral vascular disease. In those cases, always wear shoes in and out of the house.

Myth: Over-the-counter scrubs and soaks for corns are safe and effective.

Fact: "At-home soaks or scrubs would just exfoliate, not remove corns," Vlahovic said.

Diagnosis: A corn is a buildup of skin with a hard center. This often is caused by a hammertoe in which the toe knuckle rubs against the shoe. To permanently remove a corn, the hammertoe must be corrected so that it stops rubbing against the shoe. Or, just wear shoes with a wider toe box.

Myth: Feet don't need sunscreen.

Fact: "Skin cancer on the legs and feet actually has a high mortality rate due to people forgetting to do skin checks on that area. It's often caught too late," Vlahovic said. "This is due in large part to the fact that many people simply forget to apply or reapply sunscreen to the lower extremities."

Diagnosis: Apply sunscreen with an SPF of at least 15 and with both UVB and UVA protection every two to three hours to the feet. Apply more often if you're going to be at the beach, in and out of the water, or sweating.

Myth: All pedicure salons use sterile instruments, so it's fine to use theirs.

Fact: "Unfortunately, this is not the case with all nail salons," Vlahovic said. "As a result, the instruments can spread germs that can cause nail fungus and bacterial infections."

Diagnosis: Invest in your own nail files, clippers and cuticle sticks, unless you can be sure your nail salon sterilizes its instruments after each use. Also ask the technician if they have a clean bowl or basin or one with individual liners before sticking your feet in the motorized tub.

Myth: It's best to trim your toenails straight across.

Fact: Doing this, and cutting them too short, can lead to ingrown toenails, a true danger for diabetics. Untreated ingrown toenails can lead to infection and possibly an abscess requiring corrective surgery.

Diagnosis: Leave the nail slightly longer, trimming along the natural curve of your toe.

Myth: Soaking your feet in vinegar clears up toenail fungus.

Fact: "Vinegar can't penetrate the layers of the nail to get to the infection site. And without proper treatment, the infection can spread to other nails," Vlahovic said.

Diagnosis: See your dermatologist or podiatrist so they can perform a culture to see if it is definitely a fungal infection. Follow their instructions to the letter to avoid a recurrence.

Myth: Athlete's foot and warts aren't contagious.

Fact: Both are highly contagious, and easily spread in environments such as locker rooms or showers. They are often picked up through small breaks in the skin of the foot bottom.

Diagnosis: Keep your feet clean and dry, don't wear dirty socks and thoroughly clean your bath or shower area. "If one person in the household has it, everyone should be cautious and take proper precautions," Vlahovic said. If you must use a public shower, wear flip-flops.

Myth: Duct tape removes plantar warts.

Fact: Studies have shown duct tape to be one of the many ways to treat warts, but Vlahovic noted that several studies have shown duct tape in no better than a placebo.

Diagnosis: "If you have a plantar wart, don't pick or perform bathroom surgery on it," Vlahovic said "Don't put duct tape on it and expect it to go away, since there is a specific protocol for using it. See your dermatologist or podiatrist for this and other treatment options."
