You can get free stamp values by going to eBay and other auctions, or to stamp dealers web sites to see how much certain stamps are selling for. You can also check out stamp values in older stamp catalogs at you library.

Stamp catalog publishers make money by selling their catalogs. There are few freebies.

that is up to you..but no..i have sveral thousand stamps..i categorize mine but that has nothing to do with value…that comes from the age of the stamp..where the stamp originated from and variuous other factors…try to get clean stamps..the ones that have been dated have a lessor value..also get a book on the value of stamps..it tell you alot..

so i just received a book of russian stamps (1910s-1970s) from my uncle.. which includes a total of 92 stamps. how much would a stamp collector fanatic pay for it in us dollars?

I don’t know exactly.
But go onto ebay and search similar products and see the price they are going for.
Also go on the Stanley Gibbons website and order a catalogues or check out the info there.

Take into account whether the stamps are marked or anything like that.
Sorry, I haven’t checked my collection for like 3 years!
