5 HOMEGROWN ANIMALS STAMPED AS OUR NATIONAL 'S ICON

2021-09-19T19:56:00.001-07:00

ALL ANIMALS ACT AS OUR FRIENDS...

WITHOUT THEM OUR LIFE IS LIKE LONELY WITHOUT COMPANION...

CAN WE LIVE ALONE IN THE UNIVERSE WITHOUT BUDDIES

IN TIMES OF SADNESS OR SILENCE? THE FACT IS THEY ALREADY

EXISTED ON THIS EARTH BEFORE US ...

CREATED IN VARIOUS SHAPES AND APPEARANCES

SOME ARE AMAZING OR SCARY WHICH THEY ARE SURE

TO FULFILLED THIS WORLD WITH THE BEAUTY AND COLORS

OF THE DIVINE CREATION ...

THIS IS MY 5'S BEASTS OF THRONE IN MY COUNTRY...

(All image provided by Google E-sources)

1. MALAYAN TIGER (PANTHERA TIGRIS JACKSON)

My first choice is always the stripe feline...

The true King of the Jungle if applied the meaning correctly...

A solitary local resident in a mass territory area

can cover an area of 5-60 mile sqft. to roam

by marking by it personal 'fragrance'...

In our jungle this is what is considered the Apex predator...

Nothing can match it strength and greatness here...

Indeed as the biggest cat's species in the world that's lives lonely

unlike it cousin the lion prides in Africa...

The tiger symbolizes strength and courageous spirit

and is always used as a guide for self esteem...

A combination of beauty and sheer power truly to be respects...

It's like to take a bath occasionally as belong to the group

of furry animal that doesn't afraid of water and like to be soak all day...

And better beware, they loved to devour our favorite king of fruit, the Durian.

If you hear the growling, better watch out it's on the prowl...

See how many tiger logos and symbols

are used in various organizations in Malaysia ...

If it can claim royalty surely no tigers are left idle or disturbed

in their natural kingdom...

Let the beast be the king forever in our forest

still the jungle need it guardian...

2. TAPIR OR CIPAN OR TENUK

What's black and white coat pattern and look like Panda?

What I mean's the distinctive spots with the front part of the body

until just after the front legs being black along with the hind legs,

while the back has a saddle of white or grey.

Malayan tapirs are also known as Asian tapirs

are the only Asian species of tapir,

found in the rainforest, range from the lowlands

to the mountainous areas, and they are native to the

island of Sumatra, the Malay peninsula and Southern Thailand.

Malayan tapirs are good swimmers and they often like to bathe and swim,

They are mainly active at night but they are not exclusively nocturnal.

A genuinely solitary animal you can never stumble them

in group by marking their territory by traced it with urine

and followed it own path as to not to overlap with other tapirs region...

The Malayan tapir communicates by using their snout

producing high pitched squeaks and whistles.

They snort and stamp their feet when they feel threatened

and are getting ready to defend themselves.

A good swimmers and they often like to bathe and swim,

They are mainly active at night but they are not exclusively nocturnal.

And what are the benefits and services of Tapir in Malaysia?

Maybe not much but they do bring peace and quiet...

Have you ever heard the news of Tapir attacks like Hippo or snake?

Certainly never and if it ever happened it would not be severe...

They can roam freely upon this land although

disturbed by human activity and progress

and we shouldn't bother them...

3. KANCIL @ PELANDUK

There is plenty of stories and myths about this puny creature...

mostly about his cunning and ingenuity manipulated other animals...

Do you know that Kancil's is one of the causes

of the existence of the state of Malacca?

If a mouse- deer can kick a tigers certainly

it have a greatness about that place...

It myth will always be remembered as

the establishment of the kingdom of Malacca

Myth says it can climb a tree with it sharp hoof

often hunters overlook while hunting it

until someone notices that the deer is clinging to the side of a tree...

Would you believe that?

Don't be fooled by their small legs, they are able to escape as fast as lightning

and sometimes stand upright under the shadow of the forest as camouflage ...

Mostly diets on leaves and fruits, they communicated

each other by stomp their feet.

When they are surprised, they freeze immediately,

and then run away in a zig-zag manner through the forest.

Don't be shocked to notice that they have super fierce fangs.

It've two front teeth that are super long and sharp like needles,

That specialty to stab others kind during combat.

Now that what I called a sneaky midget monster...

Living in a tropical forest with continuous rain

causes most animals to be good at swimming...

Including this cute animal that is also able to dive

and walk on the riverbed while being hunted by predator...

Our country even make a cartoon series about this ingenius mouse-deer...

Even now a new cartoon show still produced to shown

our dedication to this marvelous ruminant.

Considered a symbol of intelligence and courage despite being small figurine.

To honor for it size and agility one of our own National car

proudly named it the Perodua Kancil .

4. BURUNG ENGGANG OR BURUNG KENYALANG

Who could not be amazed seeing a majestic long,

curved bill and a bright upturned casque

on top of their heads. The black feather

and the golden-yellow bill color combination

thrive them as one of the most stunning species of bird on earth...

They nest in the holes of hollow trees...

The distinguish eyelashes bird also living in groups,

Watching them flying, perch in groups socializing as see performances

enrich the beauty pageant while remarking each others ...

The golden-yellow horn serves several functions

among them as a nasal sound the bird make.

It's also handy as to climb tree, act as a trowel to build nest,

assist in fighting, preening and catching prey.

The heavy bill, supported by powerful neck muscles

Voiced by: Rich Little (Sink Pink, Pink Ice),

Matt Frewer (The Pink Panther (1993 TV series))

Information

Nickname(s): Nathu, Pangu

Species : Panther

Gender: Male

Family: Pinky and Panky (sons) 1984

The Pink Panther is the main and title character in the opening and closing credit sequences of every film in The Pink Panther series except for A Shot in the Dark and Inspector Clouseau. His popularity spawned a series of theatrical shorts, merchandise, a comic book, and television cartoons. He starred in 124 short films, 10 television shows and three prime time specials. He is also known as Nathu and Pangu in East and South Asia and Paulchen Panther (Little Paul the Panther) in Germany.

The animated Pink Panther character's initial appearance in the live action film's title sequence, directed by Friz Freleng, was such a success with audiences and United Artists that the studio signed Freleng and his DePatie-Freleng Enterprises studio to a multi-year contract for a series of Pink Panther theatrical cartoon shorts. The first entry in the series, 1964's The Pink Phink, (his debut appearance) featured the Panther harassing his foil, a little white moustached man who is actually a caricature of Friz Freleng (this character is officially known as "The Little White Guy" and/or "The Man" , by constantly trying to paint the little man's blue house pink. The Pink Phink won the 1964 Academy Award for Animated Short Film, and subsequent shorts in the series, usually featuring the Pink Panther opposite the little man, were successful releases.

In an early series of Pink Panther animated cartoons, the Panther generally remained silent, speaking only in two theatrical shorts, Sink Pink and Pink Ice. Rich Little provided the Panther's voice in the latter shorts, modelling it on that of David Niven (who had portrayed Clouseau's jewel-thief nemesis in the original live-action film). Years later Little would overdub Niven's voice for Trail of the Pink Panther and Curse of the Pink Panther, due to Niven's ill health. All of the animated Pink Panther shorts utilized the distinctive jazzy theme music composed by Henry Mancini for the 1963 feature film, with additional scores composed by Walter Greene or William Lava. So much more HERE.

What's Michael? (ホワッツマイケル? Howattsu Maikeru??) is a Japanese manga series created by Makoto Kobayashi. In 1984, it began its serialization in the Weekly Morning magazine. The comic shows Michael, an orange American Shorthair tabby cat, his feline friends, and other domesticated pets in a series of humorous episodes.

The manga was adapted into two anime OVA series in 1985 and 1988, and a 45-episode TV series in 1988-1989. It is currently released in the US by Dark Horse Comics. The comics were presented in the standard left to right American reading format.

In 1986, What's Michael? received the Kodansha Manga Award for general manga.

Story:

Most episodes of the series fall into one of two kinds of stories. The first portrays the cats in a realistic way, living out normal lives with their owners. It finds humor in how humans observe their pets' naturally quirky behavior. The second type of story is complete fantasy. All the animals are given human characteristics such as walking on two legs, wearing clothes, and being able to talk to each other. These episodes place the animals in a clichéd storyline, and mixes up their human personas with normal animal behavior.

Plot synopsis

In Africa during the mid-20th century, as mankind encroaches, the white lion Panja (Caesar in the English dub) gives the jungle's wild animals a safe haven. However, he angers nearby villagers by stealing their cattle and their food to feed the jungle carnivores. (In the English dub he merely frees the cattle.) A professional hunter, Ham Egg (Viper Snakely in the English dub), is called in to stop these raids. He avoids directly attacking Panja. Instead, he records the sounds of Panja and uses them to trap his mate, Eliza, who then becomes bait in a trap for Panja. Panja is killed for his hide, and the pregnant Eliza is put on a ship, destined for a zoo. Leo (Kimba in the English dub) is born on the boat. Eliza teaches him his father's ideals. As a huge tropical storm nears, she urges her cub out through the bars of her cage. The storm wrecks the boat, and he flounders in the ocean. The fish help him learn to swim. As he begins to despair, the stars in the sky form the face of his mother, who encourages him. Guided by butterflies, he makes it to land. Leo lands far from his ancestral home and is found and cared for by some people. He learns the advantages of human culture, and decides that when he returns to his wild home he will bring culture to the jungle and stand for peace like his father. The show follows Leo's life after he returns to the wild, still a young cub, and how he learns and grows in the next year. Leo soon learns that only communication and mutual understanding between animals and humans will bring true peace. Read full history HERE.

Last appearance: present

Created by: Yuko Shimizu

Information

Nickname(s): Hello Kitty

Species: Japanese bobtail cat

Gender : Female

Family: Mimmy White, George White, Mary White, Anthony, Margaret

Nationality: British

Full name: Kitty White

Hello Kitty (ハローキティ Harō Kiti?)[3] (full name Kitty White (キティ・ホワイト Kiti howaito?))is a fictional character produced by the Japanese company Sanrio, first designed by Yuko Shimizu. She is portrayed as a female white Japanese bobtail cat with a red bow.[1] The character's first appearance on an item, a vinyl coin purse, was introduced in Japan in 1974 and brought to the United States in 1976.[4][5] The character is a staple of the kawaii segment of Japanese popular culture. At age 36 as of 2010, Sanrio has groomed Hello Kitty into a global marketing phenomenon worth $5 billion a year.

Originally aimed at pre-adolescent females, Hello Kitty's market has broadened to include adult consumers. She can be found on a variety of products ranging from school supplies to fashion accessories and high-end consumer products. Several Hello Kitty TV series, targeted towards young children, have been produced. Hello Kitty is also the main character at the two Japanese Sanrio theme parks, Harmonyland and the indoor Sanrio Puroland.

Character:

Formally in Japanese, "Hello Kitty" refers to the group of related characters, while the main character herself is known as Kitty White (キティ・ホワイト Kiti Howaito?), or affectionately as Kitty-chan (キティちゃん Kiti-chan?). According to the official character profile, she was born in the suburbs of London, England on November 1. Her height is described as five apples and her weight as three apples. She is portrayed as a bright and kind-hearted girl, very close to her twin sister Mimmy. She is good at baking cookies and loves Mama's homemade apple pie. She likes to collect cute things and her favorite subjects in school are English, music and art.

Hello Kitty is portrayed surrounded by a large family who all possess the surname 'White.' Her twin sister Mimmy is described as "shy and very girly," interested in sewing and dreaming of marriage. While Hello Kitty wears a bow on her left ear, Mimmy wears hers on the right. Also Hello Kitty's dresses are normally red, whereas Mimmy's are normally yellow. Their Papa, George, is described as dependable, humorous but also absent-minded. Mama, Mary, is portrayed as a good cook who loves doing housework. Grandpa Anthony likes to tell stories and Grandma Margaret likes sewing. Dear Daniel is Hello Kitty's childhood friend. His character profile describes him as born in London on May 3 with the real name Daniel Starr. He travelled with his parents and was away from Hello Kitty for a long time. He is portrayed as fashionable and sensitive, good at dancing and playing the piano, with an interest in photography and dreams of being a celebrity.[9] Charmmy Kitty is Hello Kitty's pet, a white Persian. She is described as docile, obedient and fond of shiny things. Her necklace holds the key to Hello Kitty's jewelry box.[10] Hello Kitty also has a pet hamster named Sugar, who was a gift from Dear Daniel. Read more HERE.
