Ok, the "Black Life Matters" movement has been going on for just over a year now I believe, since the death of Michael Brown jr at the hands of police in Ferguson. The police officer was not charged, as the shooting was shown to be "justifiable homicide", and the grand jury chose not to bring him up on any other charges. The police officer in question was not fired but chose to leave the police department under increasing pressure reportedly. Whether your on the side of the police or the killed young man it's a sad situation. Personally, I am white, I can't even imagine losing a member of my family, let alone at the hands of the police, but I am of the opinion that every situation is different and since this tragic event many others have occurred that many have some similarities but each one has its own specific circumstances.

Being white I don't think I really can intelligently say how I would feel if I was part of the black community. The history of atrocities against people of color is disgraceful. Slavery is long gone but who can really say when it's ok to move past that horrific time. If it were my relatives that were degraded and even murdered I can't say how I would feel today. I'd imagine that it would still haunt me, and for that it has to be understandable.

My problem is with the people that want to lump anytime a black person is killed by law enforcement with the times that the police unjustly use deadly force. I can only imagine how hard it is when a family member is killed. The first thought that would probably go through any persons mind is who committed the act and wanting that person punished. I think we have to be understanding of the family and communities feelings but we all need to take a step back and listen to the facts carefully.

The use of body cameras has to be implemented in as many departments as possible. Having all interactions recorded is a safety net against unjust accusations and unjust actions taken by both parties. I can't imagine anyone being against getting to the absolute truth, and those cameras recording does just that.

Victim E'dena Hines was stabbed to death by her live in boyfriend while he was under some sort of drug induced rage. Stabbed during an exorcism according to some police sources, the death is still under investigation. Anytime a 33 year old young women dies it is a tragedy. The epidemic of hard drugs still sweeping our country and the world really is sad. Drugs don't discriminate whether your black, white, blue or green, rich, poor or homeless, married single or divorced, anyone can fall victim to the horrors of drug abuse.

What we need to provide is safe places that ppl can get the help they need to fight mental illness and problems with drugs. These problems sometimes run hand and hand. People are afraid to talk about family issues often and it's best to deal with these problems head on. While family can't deal with it alone, there are starting to be more and more resources adapted to help.

Another place where these resources are sorely needed is our prison system. We do a hell of a job at punishment in our great country but have a startling reputation. We have nearly 25% of the worlds incarcerated with under 5% of the worlds population. THAT'S BOTH SAD AND SCARY. We lock ppl up for months or years at a time and then release them back in society without giving them the tools necessary to survive. If they were using when they went in odds are they are going to be using when they are released if they aren't shown another way to live. We need to provide services to help them heal while they are incarcerated so they can continue to work on their sobriety when they are released. If they continue to get help the recidivism rate will drop exponentially.

Compounding his mistake by trying to steal in the 8th inning of a very close game and being caught in a rundown he slammed his helmet into the ground after being tagged out and it bounced up and hit Yonder Alonso in the head. Fortunately for all parties involved the injury didn't seem to cause a concussion but the team will be cautious and check him out again tomorrow.

In my opinion just another example of the lack of holding himself responsible whether it be to get his batting average up, work on his mechanics or anything else that would have gotten him closer to the all-star caliber player year in and year out he and his brother were both expected to be. There's a reason some players get traded offseason after offseason and it isn't because they are perennial superstars thats for sure, haha

Helmet to helmet contact may be banned on the field but it's become more and more accepted in main stream society as the days, weeks, months, years and decades pass....people grow, change, progress and laws of the past are thought of as atrocious... things such as slavery, the jim crow laws, mandatory minimum sentences thought to target people of color are all things we are working towards moving past. Once we elected a black president many thought, there we go problem solved, racism is GONE. But just like awful diseases we seemingly have under control find a way to cause an epidemic so does racial tensions.

This summer those tensions were exacerbated by the killing of several unarmed black men by white police officers. While many think these are cut and dry cases of murder, we have to be able to look deeper. For it to be murder their has to be intent...if an officers fears for his life or the life of a citizen a fatal shot is accepted and expected.

All these situations are different. They have different witnesses, different mitigating circumstances, different reports, different facts, different officers and different victims/perpetrators.

I surely hope cooler heads prevail, I want to live in a country where the police are regarded as heros, protecting us from the filth that tries to invade our lives in a variety of ways.

The Mediterranean Sea continues to be littered with migrants found on boats abandoned by smugglers and left with little food or water while countries like Libya. Fleeing their own war torn countries struggling with levels of poverty unseen by many they are throwing caution to the wind and leaving the middle east, Africa and Asia. trying to make their way to Europe through Italy, Greece, Spain and Malta.

Many of these European countries are struggling with the task of taking on all of these migrants at such a rapid pace. Nearly all have already accepted and rescued more then figures from all of the last calendar year. The smugglers fill the sometimes barley sea worthy fishing vessels with as many men women and children as they can fit for maximum profit. Once out at sea the smugglers get picked up and leave the vessel to drift until the coast guard picks them up and rescues them or they make it to European land. Many times boats are found some weeks later with little to no food on board or even drinking water. It is typical to hear stories of dead bodies being thrown overboard after dying during the treacherous journey.

Although yes it may make getting directions from where you are located a little more difficult and require a few more seconds of work, it's worth the time to not give criminals the exact location of where you are in relation to where you live/have valuables right???

4. Most ppl would know this I hope but ALWAYS BE AWARE OF YOUR PRIVACY SETTINGS...for example Facebook uses a variety, anything from "public" to "school friends" or
"only me". Every post can be shared with a different or all encompassing group, just be sure your sending out those posts to who you want them seen by.

5. Remember when you were little and your parents said it was never ok to lie? Well, they lied. Here's the deal, on sites like Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, etc these are exactly where thieves are going to look for that all important information to build a profile on you and use your identity. Think about how many password questions could be answered by the seemingly unimportant info listed like your birthplace, age, high school you attended. No need to give more information the necessary. Make up a profile and use it for all your social networking sites, anyone that needs to know the truth, already will and should be doing the same thing themselves.

6. Pretty similar to #5....don't fill out those stupid quizzes ppl put up about who know's me the best or who's my best friend blah blah blah, just giving strangers access to see your name and email starts them off with 2 key pieces of information to start building that profile. Believe it, they are smart and between all the various places ppl visit online they very well could end up with enough facts to open an account or even switch one of yours to being operated under their control!!!

Black women dies 15 hours after telling officer " I don't want to die in your cell today"

July 25th would be her last day on this earth. Ralkina Jones was arrested for an alleged assault and once at the station asked for medical care stating that she didn't want to die in her cell. Her reasoning she explained was a combination of several heart related problems. Besides what she described as a serious heart condition her most worrisome issue was POTS syndrome. POTS stands for postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome. The police seem genuinely interested while discussing her problems and say that throughout the night she seemed "fine" during their routine checks.

Police released this nearly 30 minutes of one officers body cam video but there are no answers as of yet. By 7:30 am Ms. Jones was dead in her cell. As of now the family says they don't understand all the facts surrounding what happened.

Personally, it seems like a very sad situation. One of the concerns Ralkina explained was a brain injury she suffered at the hands of her ex husband which was the man she was accused of assaulting on the night in question. Any situation where a man causes a serious enough injury that it's classified as a brain injury is a big issue for me. That takes serious force and could be a mitigating circumstance. However, this article doesn't go into details about the heart history or previous injuries seriousness.

For me although this is another sad story, it does not seem to have any similarities to the other police related deaths that have circled the country. Unless facts unknown come to the surface, which is completely possible, I see no reason why this is really news other then the tragic loss of life unnecessarily.

Just like Heroin Methamphetamine is a drug that doesn't discriminate. Whether you be black, brown, white, Asian or a mix of all of the above, the drug epidemic sweeping our country and many others will take anyone from a happy life down to your knees. Families are not excluded from the pain. More often then not they suffer along with the addict and many times suffer to a higher degree.

Basically here is the short version of how the public has come to find out the details of the families dirty laundry. The police minister of the Northern Territory has a son who is a meth addict. The son lent his fathers personal car to his friend to go pick up meth. During this trip the friend was pulled over and the 1.5 grams of meth was found and he was arrested. By the next morning when the son realized he hadn't come back he went to the police station to report him missing. Problem being that he drove an unregistered vehicle to the police and was therefor arrested himself. Now, the father is speaking out and explaining some of his families very real struggles with addiction.

My point in all of this is, drugs can effect anyone. The only way to 100% for sure never become addicted is TO NEVER EVEN TRY THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE. I have literally seen people's lives change so drastically from the very first time they try a drug.....not necessary meth which is not abundant in the area which I live but more often with cocaine and heroin. Ive seen men and women lose their children, houses, apartments, spend time in jail, pawn everything they own of value from gold and silver to tv and computers.

Do yourself a favor, talk to your kids before they experiment themselves, drugs are becoming more and more available in our towns and communities. Things I didn't see till I was in my 20s are now around in middle school. Don't let your family find things out the hard way. Be open and honest with your kids and they will respect that, develop a relationship where they are not afraid to call you for a ride because its too late. Make sure they you they can ALWAYS call you, can ALWAYS tell you and it'll be much better then you finding out yourself. It's just about being there and making sure they know your there.

"When Whites Just Don't Get It" written by Nicholas Kristof for NY Times

Going by the study done by "scholars at Harvard and Tufts" in 2011 it stated that whites believed anti-white racism is a bigger problem in america then anti-black racism. The preface of the article is that although a majority of white Americans think that since the death of Michael Brown, a black youth shot by a white police officer, race relations have been over-covered in the aftermath of this last 12-14 months.

Although I don't agree with all of the points in the statements made throughout, I do think some have validity, As a white man I don't have the background or history that allows me to feel what it's like when you feel you are being targeted because of your race. My opinion is completely speculative. I do think that some of the police shootings have been completely spun to fit certain agendas. While obviously the tragic death of Trayvon Martin at the hands of a stranger who shot the unarmed teen turned out terrible for everyone but the perpetrator. George Zimmerman should be sitting in a jail cell today. Talk about letting a bad man get away with murder. just look at his record of arrests since that situation was resolved....just terrible.

However, just because one shooting was wrong doesn't mean that every time a police officer shoots a black man it's murder, The police have an incredibly touch job to do and have to make life or death decisions in seconds, not minutes, hours or days like we have afterwards to dissect that decision. My heart goes out to ANYONE who has lost a loved one. No matter how or why they died it's still a great loss to you and your loved ones. But let's all just try and take each case on it's own merits and prosecute in the situations where its warranted and thank the men and women in our local police departments that are doing a good job. As much negative press as police have gotten lately, i'm sure they would love to hear from those out there who were saved from a burgler, or helped change a flat tire on that dark road when you had no cell service.

All i'm saying it's let cooler heads prevail, help one another, we are all on this earth together, let's do what we can to make it a great place for everyone!!!!

Since 2008 the number of kids playing youth football has decreased 27%. Studies show the kids that play tackle football before the age of 12 are at a much higher risk for health problems occurring later in life. Things such as memory impairment and decision making are two areas effected by brain injuries.

While there seems to be varying degrees of concern among parents...the facts of studies like the one done at Boston University which was released Wednesday is startling. Some researchers suggest pushing kids under the age of 14 towards flag football will greatly reduce the long term risks that prolonged exposure to the game can have.

Personally I started playing tackle football in the Pop Warner league, coached by my father, around the age of 12-13. At that age it is very important to teach kids the "right" way to tackle. At present time there is a "Heads Up" football initiative which the NFL is sponsoring which includes seminars and meetings for coaches throughout the country teaching the proper techniques for kids to not only avoid injuries to themselves but also avoid injuring others.

Enforcer getting back on the ice after a not so necessary vacation

So the Bruins and Bad Boy Shawn Thornton have dropped their appeal of his 15 game suspension after the decision is taking a lot longer then they expected. Thornton is a team-first kind of player and he didn't want all of the questions surrounding him to be a distraction to the team. His legal team even mentioned that after it was all said and done it actually would't even save him any games by the time a ruling was made by the independent arbitrator.

15 game suspension huh? Give me a damn break. Did Thornton do something wrong. YES. Did he deserve to be suspended? YES. Did the punishment fit the crime? HELL NO. Ok, so let's talk about what happened in case you didn't know....Brooks Orpik plays for the crybaby kids from Pittsburgh the Penguins. He is known as a cheap shot artist and kneed Brad Marchand in the head while he was on down on the ice. Shawn Thornton did what he is supposed to do and that's hit Brooks Orpik....the problem is he grabbed him from behind in the heat of the moment and tripped him before hitting him. Orpik wanted NO PART of fighting him though and it was obvious. But, if your going to play like an asshole when your on the ice eventually your going to get handled one way or another. That's what is great about the fighting in hockey. It allows the players to police themselves and forces players to be accountable.

A 15 game suspension for someone who is as stand up of a man as shawn thornton is bullshit. He has played in over 600 games without having a single issue similar to that one and it was just a mistake in the heat of a tough game.....the Penguins have become a pretty good rival for the Bruins in the Eastern Conference and hopefully they both meet up in the Eastern Conferance Finals again

UTEP says there is no evidence of point shaving or betting on their own basketball games but three men's college basketball athletes are now kicked off the team after being suspended indefinitely last week.... Two players were juniors and 1 was a senior which means the 1 year automatic suspension by the NCAA will end the careers of all 3.

What is the big deal? So they supposedly gambled on "sporting events"....yeah ok and? So have I along with millions and millions of americans across the country. We haven't been told home much they gambled, how they gambled, where they gambled, etc...get it? Well I don't! Weather it's at a casino where the state gets to rake in millions of dollars everyday or with a friend on the team as long as they are not betting on their own games I don't understand why this is necessary.

The NCAA is the most corrupt entity in the fucking world, they are hypocrites of the worst fashion.... DO AS I SAY, NOT AS I DO should be there motto.... While they sit back and decide the fates of student athletes arbitrarily I have to think, the punishment doesn't fit the crime. It's just like with Johnny Football at Texas A+M. How is it that the kid gets paid $10,000 on several different occasions, its on pictures and on video and he still only gets suspended a half of 1 game again a team ranked in the 100's.... Anyone think that money can't buy happiness cause it sure looks like ol Johnny Football had mommy and daddy shell out a few bucks from his piggy bank to satisfy someone out there.

Bobby Petrino is by all accounts a pretty good head coach. The problem is he is also known as a cheater....on his wife...with a women who was on the payroll suddenly with seemingly no football experience to her name. Petrino is also known for his unexpected exit from the Atlanta Falcons after becoming their head coach just months earlier. Even though he had a 3-10 season with the Arkansas Razorbacks back in 2007 he still has an overall record of 83-30 in college football.

Petrino insists he is "a changed man" and he is ready for the new opportunity back where he calls "home".

They say home is where the heart is but for Petrino it may as simple as home is where his girlfriend lives. Whether the red faced rascal is back to his old ways we won't know just yet but it's hard to believe that in the 10 years since his departure he has really "changed" and is a different person.

One thing is for sure...Louisville is hoping he isn't a changed coach. They compiled a top 10 offense while he was there and they want to get back on top. Teddy Bridgewater will be off to the NFL and is looking like he may be the #1 pick so Louisville has to adjust to losing probably the best player in the teams history.

Oddman Dennis Rodman took his second trip to the horror story, despicable record of human rights with thousands of known violations in North Korea. In a not so surprising move Rodman has explained that a combination of stress and booze were the real culprits.

North Korea has human rights violations that number in the thousands over the years and right now is even currently holding a US citizen, Kenneth Bae who is being held for "anti-state" crimes. Rather then use his surprising friendship with the new little leader to help free the missionary that is already in poor health he chose to serenade president UN with "Happy Birthday" with his fellow teammates.

After waking up from his alcohol induced haze he probably heard from his publisher and issued a "statement" saying how sorry he was blah blah blah.....

Can you imagine what this would feel like if that was your family member being held. This story doesn't really hit home until you really think about what North Korea and its leader has done. North Korea's threats to use its nuclear weapons on South Korea have put the US in a tough situation. Kim Jong Un is an angry, hostile, arrogant, little man who actually executed his former mentor AND UNCLE after he was ACCUSED of a number of crimes. Yeah, he killed his own uncle...if that was my family member being held I don't even know what I would do... can you imagine?

The Louisville Cardinals finished off the storybook career of Teddy Bridgewater with another college bowl game win against an underrated Miami Hurricanes 36-9. Bridgewater comes from southern Florida and put on a show against many of his former teammates by going 35-45 and having 447 passing yards. 447 YARDS PASSING IN HIS FINAL GAME..... It looked like a nice tune up and some say he is the consensus #1 pick. It seems to be between Bridgewater and defensive powerhouse Jadaveon Clowney.

Clowney and the South Carolina gamecocks finished off the season beating the #19 ranked team Wisconsin by 10 points. All signs seems to be pointing to one of these 2 college stars to be picked first by the Houston Texans....while Clowney may be a huge asset lining up opposite of JJ Watt this is the NFL. You don't win without a quarterback. If they think new head coach can get disgraced QB Matt Schaub back on track or their quarterback of the future is Case Keenem then they can make a splash by going with the defensive stud. New coach Bill O'Brien may have taken the best open coaching vacancy by walking into a team that just 2 years ago was a 10-6 team that went to their first playoff game. Never mind the fact that they also won their first playoff game in the teams history but got blown out in the second round by the New England Patriots. It's a what have you done for me lately kind of league and the only noticeable thing ex- head coach Gary Kubiak did was collapse on the sideline in one of the more scary scenes in NFL history.

Thankfully Kubiak turned out to be ok after tests and came back to coach the disaster of a team only to get fired by owner Bob Mcnair. EX-Nittany Lions coach Bill O'brien has taken the lead and is expected to get the Texans back to respectability and hopefully a playoff birth.

SO, now that you've eliminated the "real" problem, ridding the shopping mall of those same sex heathens making sure us "normal" folks can spend our money without being forced to avert both our own eyes and those of our wholesome children....some have called their ability to repeat words, actions and even feelings sponge-like.

What if those homosexuals were on a mission to recruit the next generation of same sex love? The next target of narrow minded, ignorant, classless hatred could be your little guy! The Westfield Galleria in Roseville, California maintains that "persons that violate the code of conduct are asked to leave the property". SEE, I had a feeling that the spokesmen for the mall would let us know that their employee didn't discriminate so blatantly against homosexuals. Couples of any gender would be treated EXACTLY the same.

Ok, let's be honest. I am a hetrosexual male. I have a girlfriend. We have been together for nearly 10 years at this point. There is a HUGE difference between holding hands and "kissing 25 times". I'm 30 years old and while I hold hands with my lady friend nearly everywhere, I couldn't recall the last time we shared more then a quick peck outside the privacy of our own home. I find it inappropriate personally. My personal feeling is that I would be uncomfortable standing in line behind a gay couple whom were sharing a passionate kiss. Sadly, to be 100% honest, while I would be uncomfortable whether it were a man/women or man/man, I would feel more uncomfortable if it were in the same sex situation. I wish I could be enlightened enough to truly feel no bias one way or another, but unfortunately, somewhere deep down, it's there.

Back to the initial story though...if the couple is being honest, and we take the facts at face value....they didn't deserve to be treated that way, no one regardless of sexual preference, race, sex etc does

In a city that has such faithful and loyal fans despite suffering the yearly losing seasons in almost every major sport is pretty incredible in and of itself. Then factor in the owner handicaps from 2 of the 3 major sports and that's giving the Indians a questionable pass here and it's downright sorry.

It's like somehow they get a franchise saving break and hysteria ensues but only long enough to waste your money on next years season tickets in hopes of some continued improvement or god forbid success and then WHAM! Back to the basement fellas. You know your not supposed to go outside until your mom gets home from work. The big boys get the field, watch and try to learn something.

For a second we even felt bad for Cleveland, we were on their team, SCREW THE BIG-SHOT LEBRON JAMES AND HIS PRESS CONFERENCE, OF HIMSELF. Who does that even? It's not L.A. and your not supposed to be some wide eyed know it all teenager anymore. Your supposedly "from" Cleveland, Ohio. It's a blue collar, hardworking, honest city. They offer a hand to a man when he's down, they don't kick em....

Well, all of em except maybe that Lebron guy. Remember that press conference that made us hate James and feel for Cavaliers fans everywhere? Again, we felt for them right until we got to hear about owner Dan Gilbert and his reaction. It probably was something like a thanks for the memories, good luck with your new team, hope to see you win a title soon, take care Lebron....RIGHT. And Lebron signed that 10 year extension to stay in Cleveland after all didn't he???

How about that sensational breakout running back who had the record breaking, tough guy, blue collar kind of season. He even won the vote from fans to be on the cover of the new Madden game! Awsome right....well, until he got an injury and decided to shut it down until they signed him to the long long term big contract he wanted...he didn't want to risk injury. Remember who that owner is. We know Art Moreno wasn't going to be sending any sympathy paychecks to a hurt used up running back.

So, who's right in all these circumstances? That's just it. NO ONE IS. The fans are the ones that lose out. Screw the millionaires needing another few million. Screw em all. What about the guys that faithfully work hard and put in overtime all year so that they can afford season tickets every year, good or bad team, as long as they work hard, CLEVELAND IS PROUD. That's what a true fan is.

Now we finally come to Mr. Kyrie Irving. Duke star freshmen without even playing half the damn games due to an injury and STILL selected 1st by the Cavs and named the new face of the new look Cavs. Irving shows why he was picked #1 yet gets injured and spends significant games sidelined....again....oh well, at least he's on your team, right Cleveland? Just wait till next year, that'll be the new beginning....

Well, this is one I haven't heard of before. Meet the Tigon. A Tigon is a combination of a female lion and a male tiger mating. It's incredibly rare because of birth defects and gene abnormalities that are much more common with this pairing as opposed to the male lion and female tiger. That is what would be called a Liger. I'm personally not sure why the Male is the one that decides the name usage but as a man, it's obviously correct.

I know for a fact this guy isn't 62. I know he hasn't had his "Over the Hill" party for his 50th birthday. There hasn't even been a blip on the radar of the "Mid-life Crisis"....No younger mistriss, no fancy sportscar, not even a damn long vacation, still the same ol dependable BID, his youthful exuberance showing with each post, adding new styles and changing looks like any normal kid from middle school to high school, gaining experience with age.....

and now, when his popularity was cresting like Saved by the Bell in the 90's, just as the ladies couldn't stay away, new girls, ladies and women every day, thousands even, the guy put the master of the female domain, Wilt Champerlin and his 10K to shame in just a fraction of his HOF career. When someone mentioned Wilt's 3 per day average he just smirked and answered, "It's been a fun ride, for everyone involved"...going out like a rockstar, but gone far too young, another Cobainesque departure, but never forgotten.

Dana White Goes One on One With Guido in Twitter War

UFC on Fuel TV: Korean Zombie vs. Poirier went down tonight in Virginia, but another more interesting war went down on twitter. This war was between UFC President Dana White (@danawhite) and a hard core Guido (@tweetontilt) on twitter. The Gudio started off by calling out the UFC and Dana White for not having anyone in the crowd. Dana jumped in and called him out for his eyebrows and fake tan. The war went back and forth for a while with Dana White ending it by saluting the Guido for hanging around and "going toe to toe" with him. Can't say I got to watch any of the actual fights tonight, but this fight kept me busy for a while. Mad props to both of these guys for a great fight. The tweets are below.

Let me break it down as if this was Tiger Woods....when he was king of the modern golf world he'd hit 500 pennies 3 times per day 28/30 days of the month. He set aside a lone weekend to take a "business trip" where he could unwind, spend some quality family time away from the stresses of family life and just enjoy the comfort of one of his girls because he clearly had a penchant for premium porn star, party girl, and some pills with his pussy.....

As Tiger felll further and further into his unmoral abyss his priorities fell victim to the plentiful and particularly ez planned pleasing from a variety of women willing to play the part of back up to the back up hoe....and like it. By the end he was seemingly only doing one kind of hitting and from what I read in a book one time, it seems to be called #DOGGYSTYLE that way he could pretend he wasn't a lying, deceiptful, scumbag, phony, fake-ass, rich, selfish, loser....on the bright side though, at least that poor women walked about with $500,000,000....that'd ease a LOT OF MY PAIN!

The thing with bullying is it's taken hundreds of different forms because of the advancements of our technology over the years. I personally don't think it's anymore of a problem now in 2012 then it was back in the 70's and 80's when my father was in high school. It was just as much of an unspoken issue that was brushed aside and readily accepted as just one of those things everyone must go through like pimples, a bad haircut, a breakup or hangover.

The turning a blind eye needs to stop though, and that goes for everyone from teachers, coaches, administrators, bus drivers, parents and the kids themselves. Teens and young adults feel enough pressure as it is navigating the perils of puberty without adding anymore shame, embarrassment, fear to the list of feelings bouncing around in their heads.

If they went to get a haircut and the barber accidentally messed up to a shy 9th grader this could already feel like the end of the world complete with visions of hundreds of all pointing and laughing. When a bully makes that nightmare a reality, even if it's most likely to a lesser extent, it can be devastating. We have all heard about the suicides that have occurred in the last year.

Now, imagine that was your son, daughter, sister, brother, cousin, aunt, uncle, nephew, or whoever else. Have you laughed at someone getting picked on? I have. Have you ever make fun of someone? I have. It's not about the past though, let's all learn from our mistakes and make changes. If you see someone getting made fun of, let them know that they have a friend. Just a little comment can defuse the situation and mean the world to a kid, let's all do our part, as little as it may seem, you may even save a life......
