My thoughts about LFC and football

Genuine contender, I believe this will be the year

2013-12-27T03:15:00.000-08:00

Brendan Rodgers and his chargers lost narrowly at the Etihad last night. A win is always good but watching how the man in reds performed left a true belief in me that we will finish among the top 4 this season. When Rodgers came in, I told myself that we've got a new man managing Liverpool now. I will give him 3 years before I can see Liverpool start to challenge for a place in the

Brendan is the man

Liverpool FC – a big club with a big history behind them. 18 times as English Champions and 5 times European Champions does not really reflect on their current status. They have been struggling in the league and have not qualified for the Champions League for a while but why everyone is still talking about them? It’s because of their successful History and nothing more. Brendan

This Is the Time for Rodgers

2013-08-18T02:49:00.002-07:00

Liverpool FC kicked off season 2013/14 with a win at home turf and I’d say it’s a very good start. The score could have been more but Stoke’s keeper did make some very good saves. It is important for LFC to start with a win as this will be a trigger for a better performance in the next game. I’m aware that LFC is in a ‘rebuilding’ process under Rodgers but we can’t wait too long to see some

Rodgers's first season - the verdict

2013-05-27T08:31:00.001-07:00

There's so many things that we can say about Brendan Rodgers's first season as Liverpool FC's manager. I am not a 'football expert', just a normal fan that is in love with Liverpool Football Club. So my thoughts are merely for my own and I won't say that whatever is right is always right or whatever that is wrong is wrong. But I won't deny that some of it are shared by other fans and some of

Forget Europe for next season, go for the league title!

2013-04-12T21:21:00.001-07:00

Liverpool FC will play as the visiting team against Reading tonight in one of their last six league games of the season. Currently lying 7th, 7 pts adrift from the 5th place and 9 pts adrift from the Champions League spot. On paper, Liverpool should not

WBA ~ post match review

2013-02-12T18:04:00.003-08:00

With 20 over shots on goal but yet Liverpool still lost to WBA who only managed 3 or 5 total shots on goal. 0-2 home lost was not the result that the fans wanted to see. Disappointing, in terms of the score but the performance was not above average and

What I think after 2 draws against Arsenal & City

2013-02-04T19:21:00.003-08:00

2 points from the meetings against Arsenal & the Champions, Man City. Both with an identical score 2-2. It is quite difficult to describe my feelings so far. Please? Happy? Angry? Frustrated? Ah well, it is more to like having mix emotions. Both

We are 'young'

2012-11-23T09:12:00.000-08:00

My last post was on the 27th September, a day after we defeated West Brom in a Cup tie. A 2-1 away win with Nuri Sahin scored a brace. A lot has happened since then where the team only had 2 losses. Against Udinese in the Europa tie and against Swansea in

Bright future - Brendan babes

A month ago, in the opening fixture of the new season of the Barclays Premier League the same opponent at the same venue, Liverpool v West Brom and after their great work during the summer, all hopes were for the boys to get their first 3 points. 90 minutes and

Keep the faith

2012-09-24T12:27:00.001-07:00

After my last post, I chose to update my blog after the 'big clash' against Manchester United. It all went well for Liverpool from the very beginning. Fans from both sides were in an excellent behavior and the same goes to Suarez and Evra. I don't

Stop dreaming of 4th - for now

2012-09-02T08:36:00.000-07:00

Liverpool loaned out Andy Carroll on the last day of the transfer window and never got anyone to replace him. Today the Reds lost 2-0 at home to Arsenal having no backup striker at the bench. There are so many things that has been said since last
