		<content type="html" xml:base="http://transform.sshado.com/?p=352"><![CDATA[<p>OK, so I decided to stop posting daily because it felt like I was posting just to post. So anyway, here is an update. I am still sticking to Keto, I have not had any alcohol (not easy) but other than that, my willpower is still very high. I have been working out at least 3x per week, but I am still working on my own plan &#8211; kind of designing as I workout to get a feel for what I think is working or not.</p>
<p>So far, I am down to 178 lbs &#8211; the lightest I have been since March 2016. Four more pounds and I will be the lightest since 2012. Goal is under 160 to match 2008&#8230;</p>

<p>Oh, and last night my neighbor was trying to get me to go play some cards and drink some alcohol. I finally gave in but he got back too late and by the time he wanted to play, I decided I wanted to just chill. But I think I lucked out by not drinking as it would have affected my Ketosis.</p>

So I then put it in the broiler &#8230; for too long and it got overcooked &#8230; I still ate it, but ruined a $30 piece of meat. I should have just gone to Outback and got one cooked there (but I was avoiding the temptation of beer).</p>

My diet is still on par and I have lost 7 lbs this week (water weight probably). Looking forward to tomorrow&#8217;s workout. <p>This morning, I couldn&#8217;t sleep, I woke up at 2:30am &#8211; sat on the couch, played a little on my phone, then realized that I may as well get the workout out of the way since I couldn&#8217;t sleep. I was initially starting this on October 1st, so I didn&#8217;t really have my workout planned out. I decided to start off with the Afterburn program since I remembered it and it has worked in the past.</p>
<p>The workout took less than an hour and then I got another hour of sleep. Now it is time to get ready for work&#8230; one day at a time </p>

It has been another 10 years of the typical ups and downs of weight loss. Here it is, the last quarter of 2018 and I have started a new journey TODAY (September 23, 2018). A lot has happened in the last 10 years, but I will catch people up real [&#8230;]]]></summary>
		<content type="html" xml:base="http://transform.sshado.com/?p=259"><![CDATA[<p>Finally bringing the blog back. It has been another 10 years of the typical ups and downs of weight loss. Here it is, the last quarter of 2018 and I have started a new journey TODAY (September 23, 2018). </p>
<p>A lot has happened in the last 10 years, but I will catch people up real quick. I have moved from Minnesota to Northern California (for work) in 2011. Lost my job after 24 years and moved to Southern California. Love it down here, but I am now making half the money I used to and bills are twice as much. I am a software developer now and I love it, but I am at a startup and am desperately looking for a higher paying job before I end up having to move back to Minnesota. As far as my body goes, I had gotten up to 207 pounds and then down to 175 and hovering around 185 for a couple years now, but as of today I am 189 and need to do something about it.</p>
<p>DIET:<br />
I will be doing a combo of Intermittent Fasting (IF) and Keto. I did Keto in January this year and lost almost 20 pounds. I have done a lot more research since then and I realized that I was taking in way too much protein at the time. I believe I have the diet spot on this time. As far as IF goes, I will be starting off with Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday of 24 hour fasting. I am going to give it a couple of weeks, if it gets too hard, I will go to the typical 16/8 fasting schedule which I will have no problem with.</p>
<p>EXERCISE:<br />
I have to workout at the apartment gym now, so I will need to find a good time when it is not busy. The plan is to start off with a quick full body workout and then HIIT in the morning 3x per week (on non-fasting days).</p>
<p>BLOG:<br />
I really feel like I am going to do it this time which is why I am blogging it. I want to have a record of what I am doing so I can look back at it. I will also work on a new theme soon. I would have started from scratch, but I wanted to have all my old posts in here to look back on as well.</p>
<p>I am currently 46 years old and 5&#8217;7&#8243; tall.</p>
