However, over the past 4 1/2 months I have been in New Zealand trying out Rough Guides. It's been ideal for New Zealand, simply to avoid following the Lonely Planet trail every backpacker is taking throughout this small country (population 4 million). I fly to Sydney today, and I have 5 days...I am going NAKED!!! No guide book. Feel free to offer recommendations or vote on my 'You Choose' poll, on www.nomadbackpackers.com I am letting others decide what my husband and I do in Sydney.
