This was the case when we found that Bob Mills had taken an interest in the Wheeler Elementary tree museum. Mr. Mills was granted approval to help the school put the museum back into shape. Like many of the museums they fall into disrepair due to factors such as time, weather, mowers, vandals, etc.

American Elm survived

the April 19, 1995 bombing.

The Survivor Tree&#39;s bark

protects it from disease and 

bugs.  Please help us protect 

the Survivor Tree by not

removing bark or placing coins

in its bark.  We are grateful for 

donations; however, please

into one of the boxes located

The Department of Agriculture has a prime location and many trees with very sturdy markers.



The decorative carvings over the archways have agriculture related words such as Forests, Cereal, Flowers...etc.



This is only a small sampling of &quot;famous trees&quot; in the National Mall area.
