I was so excited when they offered me until they told me that I need to be relocate. They are offering me relocation fees package. Hubby don’t really fancy the idea of relocate … I already said NO but they are asking me to reconsider and they gonna offer a better package.

I’m not sure how am I gonnna survive in Manila. Halal foods would be hard to get and I don’t think I’m gonna be enjoying myself there.  At my current age I think I’m sick of traveling for works. I don’t mind traveling for vacation but work, argh …. I’m not sure how am I suppose to continue working as consultant if I have kids. Just imagine leaving your husband and children for 3 weeks or worst case 6 months.

I saw a few colleagues that have hard time juggling work and family times. Now I know why most of my colleagues is either single or divorced. Yes .. I know I should not complain too much and be thankful that I still have a job that let me work from home.

I’m currently submitting my transfer request for the 3rd times. Hopefully it would go through and I don’t have to deal with non-sense office politic. If you happen to know any opening outside there, please please do let me know as I sick and tired working for a bunch of manager that only do postman job… eg forwarding email with FYI or FYA and don’t even read the email.

Hubby and I took long leaves for Eid-ul-Fitr. It was fun except the facts that we are giving duit raya instead of receiving it hehhehe. We were in Alor Setar on Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday we suppose to break fasting in Alor Setar but we had to rush back to hubby hometown in Selama, Perak due to unforeseen reason.

We were travelling KL -> Alor Setar -> Kulim -> Alor Setar -> Selama -> Kulim ->Selama -> Alor Setar -> Padang Besar -> Kuala Perlis -> Selama -> KL . Tiring but worth it as it’s always fun to be able to spend some time with families. I’m not good in cooking so I always carved for mama foods and dishes. Mama cooked Nasi Ayam, Soto, Nasi Lemak and Rendang Ayam. My mother in law cooked Laksa, Gulai Daging, Nasi Lemak and Spaghetti. I can feels that I’m gaining a few kilos

I asked Mama for bihun soup but there’s no time for it. We also did BBQ on third Raya. I missed food cooked by mama. I can’t cook like her :(.

Hubby and I planned to do Hari Raya open house. When we finalized the date and the menu, we will let you guys know about it. Everybody is invited. It won’t be a fancy one though.

Happy Birthday. Today you turn 30. One year older and wiser too (I hope ..hahaha)

My routine when I have no project in hand and  “IF” I manage to drag myself to office :

08:00 am - Get Ready to office

09:00 am - Still considering

10:00 am - SMS/Call CEP (ask whether he would be in office)

11:00 am - Start Driving to Office

11:30 am - Reach Office. Park at expensive parking place coz too lazy to walk.

12:00 pm - Still trying to find a place to sit. Normally end up hijacking one of the discussion room.

01:00 pm - Walk around and greet all the important peoples. Chit chat and show faces.

02:00 pm - Call hubby and any friends willing to chat on phone.

02:30 pm - Thinking of going home

03:30 pm - Still think I should head home

04:30 pm - Pack my laptop and wait for lift.

05:00 pm - Reach home. Felt guilty for not staying long in office. Pray no office/work call until 05:30 pm

06:00 pm - Reject all calls related to work even though it’s my manager.

Life at work suck when you are idle! I’m not sure when would my project start. I guess I should accept either the work assignment in Korea or teaching classes in ASEAN. I hate teaching as I hate talking to people that I don’t know. argh …

Hubby is happy with his new phone  A Blackberry Bold and as for my lil brother I just got him a Canon compact digital cam. Hope Faiz like it. Since his wish list for birthday present is either a laptop or a digital camera.
