I believe it's been about a week sense my last post. So far so good. My energy level has been a little down but that could be because TOM is about to arrive. I have been taking Iodine pluse2 for thyroid support and that has helped a lot though with my energy level. I wouldn't have ever thought Iodine would help me so much with just feeling like a normal person through day to day life. Before I was constantly tired no matter how much/little sleep I was getting. Lost hair from the time I turned 18, I thought I was going to end up bald. I don't seem as depressed when taking it. It's just helped a lot. I am not a doctor but from person to person I would recommend anyone with weight issues and/or thyroid problems to try this stuff out. I found it for cheaper on ebay for about 25bucks a btl, 60tabs per btl. I only take one per day but thinking about upping it to 1 1/2 cause I just wanted to start out slowly with it. Well anyways with my HCG weight loss update, I Started Nov 27th last Mon at 280lbs. Today I am now at 274lbs. That's about 1lb per day so I am happy with that. I did stall last time at 274 so I am a little nervous about it, I have been at 274 for two days now. I read somewhere that while you gain weight if you are at a weight for a while before gaining more, than that layer of fat will be harder to get lose, that's where people stall. I have been at 274lb for months before going up to 280. So I think I can guess now where my stalls will end up being. I was at 190 for most of high school, then after a break up at age 21 I went up to 220 and stayed there for about 2yrs. At about age 23 I went through another depression phase and ended up at 235. Age 24 I met my now husband and within a few months because of going out to eat a lot I gained 10lbs and go up to 245, then got pregnant with my first child. After my pregnancy I went all the way up to 275 after birth I only lost 10lbs and was at 265. My grandma passed away and I did a lot of emotional eating because of that and was feeling bad about myself and got up to 275 at age 26. I found HCG diet and tried it out and with in 2 months I went from 275 to 245, had a stall so I decided to take a break from HCG. The same month I took the break, I got pregnant again. The amazing thing though is I did not gain that much weight with this pregnancy. After birth I went back down to 245 within a month. I was age 27, my newest son was 6moths old, I was 245lbs and got married in April 2012. That was about 8moths ago. I quit my job after getting married due to babysitting problems and basically not having one. I had my job for 8yrs, I really did not want to quit but liked the though of me being able to raise my kids instead of a babysitter. I love spending time with my kids, but being home all day long, not working anymore barely able to see my husband cause he works two jobs, and my family barely in existence with my life. I feel like I have hit an all time low. I went from 245 at the time I married and quit my job to now 8 months later to 280, or least I was a week ago. So that's the history of my weight gain, I know now my stalls will be at 274, 245,235,220,and 190. At least I'm prepared for it.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://savemehcg.blogspot.com/2012/12/new-update-and-little-history-about-my.html' title='New Update and little history about my weight. I really don't want to make excuses for myself but here it goes. After getting married almost 9 mo ago I quit my job to stay home with my children because of childcare issues and my son's special needs. I had and sometimes still have a hard time coping with the fact that I am now jobless, staying home literally all day 6 days a week with our 4yr old and 15mo old. Fiances have been very stressful also. I believe I may have depression but because I don't believe in taking depression meds I have pretty much just been sitting home and coping with it. I thought I was ready for the HCG diet when I started this blog but with the holidays and money issues I could not really afford to buy the food products needed for the diet. That was pretty much when I decided to wait on the diet. We are still have problems with money and food budget but I think I might have found a way to work around it. I have decided to make thanksgiving and the day after my loading days. Sat Nov 24th I had my last loading day and then Sun Nov 25th started my VLCD. I weighed in on Sun at 280, yes I have gained weight sense I last updated, remember tho this is after I loaded for three days. Anyway today Nov 28th I am down to 277. That's been 1lb per day. I have changed up my diet now to having 1 piece of toast with sugar free jam in the morning with coffee and little creamer. Lunch 4oz of vegi V8 juice, and 4oz of Fruit V8 juice. Dinner is 8oz of V8 vegi heated like tomato soup with 1 boneless, skinless baked chicken breast. So far that's my meal plan because that's what I can afford. So far it's working though. Will try and update once a week. Thanks to everyone who follows.
I started my HCG diet on the 1st of Oct. Today is the 18th, According to the diet I should be down at least 15lbs by now. I have lost 10lbs so far. This week is not going so well. I have been eating some thing I probably should. This week I have not lost anything, but I have not gained anything either. I have not been taking my HCG basically due to being that TOM for me. I know most girls tend to not really lose anything during that time even with being pretty strict with the diet so I am not going to beat myself up too bad. Hey I lost 10lbs in 18days minus the three days for loading. Not bad at all, still got a smile on my face and still keeping my chin up and sticking with this diet. Will update next Monday. Stay tuned.

Today I start my VLCD. Here is what my menu looks like until I can find some recipes for dinners.

BK- Coffee with creamer (I have to have my creamer, that's one thing I can't give up.)

Lunch- One piece of melba toast with a small strawberry banana smoothie.

Dinner- 3oz of Canned chicken, one tablespoon of low fat cottage cheese, one piece of mebla toast.

8 glasses of water.

This is not right on track with the exact food menu of the protocol but I am going to stick with the same food as I did the last time I did this protocol. I still lost weight so I think it will be okay, at least for now.

My loading days went pretty good. Went to a baby shower that had lot's of yummy food, also went to dinner with my husband at Mexican restaurant. Definitely filled up the past three days. I also gained 2.5 pounds from loading which leaves my weight to be at 277.5 lbs. Ewww I hate it, but there it is.

I will check back next Monday for week one review of phase 2 Round 1.

Today I start phase 1. Three Loading days. I am supposed to gorge out on as much fat food as I possible can but finding it a little difficult to do considering I don't normally eat all day long, and I really don't eat that much. I am overweight right now because of the types of foods I have been eating not so much the quantity. Pizza, pasta, ice cream, Lot's of milk and so on. It's just a little depressing that all my favorite foods are what's bad for me. The thing that makes me happy would one day kill me. I guess I just need to start finding other things to make me happy because I refuse to let food be the death of me. That's what been my biggest problem is eating something yummy when I am happy to celebrate, eating something yummy when I'm upset to make me feel better, and eating something yummy when I'm bored just to have something to do, and that happens a lot cause I am now a stay at home mom. This is going to be difficult but I have to do it, I have to. I will be loading for today and the next two days. I'll check back Oct 1st which will be the beginning of phase 2 and when I start my VLCD. Peace!

As far as I understand, the HCG protocol has four phases.

First phase starts with your loading days. For the first three days of the HCG diet your body needs to load up on fat. (Not sugar, Fat) Your body needs as much fat in your system as possible because it can take up to three days for the HCG to go into full swing in your blood stream. If you load properly on foods that are high in fat, this could help you avoid that hunger feeling that you might otherwise get in those three days. After the three days with the HCG being in your system you should not feel hunger.

Second phase, Very Low Calorie Diet (VLCD) during this phase which you will start just after the three days you spend in phase one you will begin your VLCD. For men it's 800 cal a day and for women it's 500 cal a day. If your a extremely overyweight I would recomend women starting out with 800 cal a day. There are certain foods you can only eat on phase 2. I will give examples of my food menu as I blog about phase 2.

Third phase, after phase 2 you will now move onto phase three. On phase three you no longer have to count your calories, but you cannot eat anything at that has sugar or starch for two weeks. This is so your body can get used to having more calories but will not put on the weight again.

Fourth phase, this is the finale phase. If you have more weight to lose you can go back to phase one or if your happy with your weight you can continue onto phase four. Phase four is the mantinance phase. You slowly at in sugars and starches but watch what you eat and eat in moderation.

For me after having my children I did not continue onto phase four. I am not going to make any excusses I just did not do it and I should have. For all those who are wanting to start the HCG protocol themselves I would recomend testing the HCG out first on a home pregnancy test. There are a lot of places selling enhancment liquid for the HCG but not the actual HCG. Note you cannot buy real HCG in the united states without a perscription. I buy mine through an escrow sevice for pharmacy meds. I pay a whole lot less for my HCG that way then I would be paying for it in the U.S. To get HCG from a doctor here in the U.S. you could be paying over a hundred dollars for a one month supply. I paid 160 included shipping for a three month supply. Also your doctor here in the U.S will give you the HCG in a shot once a week. That means going to your doctors office once a week and paying a co pay and services on top of what you would be paying for the shot. All in all it's just cheaper by buying it from out of the country. That's my opinon.

Hi, so before I go straight into the HCG protocol I would like to introduce it to those who may not know what it is. First off HCG is a hormone the female body produces while pregnant. When taking this hormone while on a very strict very low calorie diet you lose weight very quickly. From half a pound to two pounds per day. Men tend to lose closer to two pounds female a little less. Taking this hormone can trick your brain into thinking your body is providing for a baby. Your body will not let you use vital nutrients your body needs as energy, instead you body takes away stored fat to use as energy. This way you don't lose bone mass or muscle mass, thus the reason for the very low calorie diet. Eating more calories than what your body would burn normally in one day will put on stored fat. When taking this hormone and combining it with the 500 female and 800 male calorie diet, your body is not getting enough calories to burn in a normal day, so metabolism will need to take away from this stored fat to use as energy. This is a very controversial diet, many people disagree with it's methods. I am assume most of those people have not done a complete research of this protocol. I have done my research and in my opinion this works wonders. I myself have already tried this diet just before getting pregnant with my second child, I went from 280 to 245 in a matter of 2 and a half months. I have tried many diets before and this has been the only effective one for me. So now after having my second child, getting married, and going on a honeymoon, I am ready to get back on the saddle again, and do this HCG protocol again. I invite you to join me on my journey as I blog about my experience with this diet. I plan to start this Oct 1st, 2012. I will be adding updates every week. Please subscribe to my blog, and feel free to comment and ask questions.
