I've finally had it with the mundane life. I struggle just to attend school because of lack of communication in Public Assistance. I get no help from my childrens' father. Enough is enough! I must liberate myself from the mire and muck. I have spent enough time learning, and it is time for action!

In the internet marketing world, people speak of being "on fire to retire"; I have a similar mission. I want to liberate others and myself from the quicksand pit of public assistance. My new mission: Save 10 families in 10 months, starting with my own.

Hello All, and sorry for this last absence. I started the year with big plans and dreams; but as I sat down to execute those plans, I began to feel unnecessarily tired and drained; no different than years prior.

I'm determined not to have the same results online in 2010 as I've had too many years before. As soon as I noticed these familiar feeling taking over, I decided to take a hiatus from everything I was doing online to get a clear and focused view of what I want to achieve, and the steps necessary to get to that point.

My goal is to mentor as many people who are serious about online marketing as possible, to guide them through the pitfalls I've experienced, and teach them the steps necessary to market and network online effectively. My ultimate goal is to create a system that anyone at any experience level can plug into, get the generic tools and training necessary, and prepare them to make money online consistently. Its was about the same time that I came to this conclusion that I found the site that would be the catalyst to my success, 12 Second Commute.

This site has definitely been a Godsend for me. I was intrigued by 12 Second Commute because they give you a 30 Day Free trial to use the system. They don't ask you for your credit card number, or even your PayPal address to do it. You sign up, and get access to their entire system, and all the tools that a marketer could ever need online.Not only that, but membership gives you access to their nightly live conferences on Advertising, Social Networking, SEO, and using the 12 Second Commute System itself; four nights a week. During these conferences there isn't any sales talk of any kind, just the steps you need to take action in whatever business you are trying to promote, even 12 Second Commute. Attending the Wednesday Night SEO conferences with Jim Roche is what sold me on 12 Second Commute; he taught me so much in the first two conferences that I had been searching for years online, that I knew this is the place I needed to be in order to to achieve my goals online.

I'm sorry if this ended up sounding like a sales letter for 12 Second Commute, that was not my intent. Instead I wanted to show you the major catalyst for my change in direction. New Beginings...Enter the FED UP Marketer

First off, allow me to apologize for my long absence. I could tell you of how my kids have been sick, or how I got tied up with finals at school; but I won’t; this New Year coming isn’t about excuses. The main point is that now I’m back with a shining revelation about my online endeavors, and to share more valuable information.

The true catalyst of my absence was realizing a few things; after doing my “Success Quotient Analysis Questionnaire” from a great book for anyone in business that I re-read every year, Success Through a Positive Mental Attitude, and a little unexpected constructive criticism from a blog friend of mine, probably unexpected to her as well.

As I said, I had just completed my analysis, putting down the same answers as the four years prior; despite learning more of what it takes to achieve success, I never seem to get any closer to my goals. This frustrated me. I didn’t, and still don’t want to go another year watching other people make great money on the internet, while I only get the dribbles and drabs that seem to be left over.

At about the same time, I received a blog award from a good friend of mine, Queen Katherine, which gave me a great example of my progress in internet marketing over the past two years….

My Welfare2Wealth: This is a wonderful place to find info on tons of subjects. Kenya knows about all sorts of stuff - and she's sweet as can be too!

“…Tons of subjects”? “…All sorts of stuff”? NO ONE EVEN KNOWS THAT I AM AN INTERNET MARKETER!!! At least I claim to be. But don’t get me wrong Kat, I appreciate the award, more than you know, because it has given me the fire to do what I’ve been talking about for way too long. This year I must make a change!

I am seriously FED UP with sitting on the sidelines, watching other people do what I only dream of. If this is to be my path of becoming completely independent of welfare and debt-free; I have to start taking things seriously and take some definite action, and continue to do so until I see the results that I crave.

The direction of the blog is going to change slightly. For the benefit of the readers who have followed me thus far, I will be writing an e-book based on my post, “9 ways you can start earning online today for free”, to which all followers, both old and new will get a copy.

With the blog specifically, after posting about the blog award I received; I will be focusing more on my personal journey from “Welfare2Wealth” through network marketing. My hopes are my story and my achievements will inspire many others to take control of their lives, and experience some success of their own.
I’m tired of journaling the same results year after year. When November 2010 rolls around, I want to be journaling about my first taste of true success!!!

The Journey From Welfare to Wealth Begins with one step...

Hey everyone, its me yet again. If you read the last post, you must be here to see my rant about why I dislike welfare so much, even though I receive it. Before I get started, I do want to say this has nothing to do with the amount I receive, or wanting/needing more. There are only two reasons why I hate public assistance with such passion...

1) The Red Tape

Don't get me wrong, I know there have to be stipulations and rules in order to determine who is eligible for public assistance and who isn't; but can that at least make some sort of sense? Or at least be blanket across the state, if not the country?

Case in point. In order for me to be eligible to receive benefits in my county in Ohio, I must participate in some sort of outside volunteer activity or work training for 80 hours a month. Understandable enough on the surface, most just go to school to make that time up, while looking for employment.

The problem with this is, you are only allowed 12 educational months credit. I don't know of one person who completed any worthwhile portion of an education career in only a year. Couple that with the fact that I wasted mine on a school that wasn't accredited early on (didn't find out until after my educational credits were gone, and there is no way I can appeal the use of these credits to the county or state), I have to find another activity to do ON TOP OF go to school full time, just to be eligible for the daycare for my schooling.

Meanwhile, in a county not too far away, a woman with a Mercedes in the driveway of a $300K home with more than $80K in savings is eligible in her county to receive food stamps. And if they didn't check her assets like they do in this county before they determined she was eligible, I seriously doubt she must jump through the hoops I do to continue her services.

2) Lack of Communication/Organization

I don't really know too much about public assistance in other counties, but getting any form of assistance here is nuts. I don't know why some people insist that people that receive public assistance are lazy; its very hard work just to continue to be eligible! When you sign up for assistance, you don't just get one caseworker, you are assigned to several depending on what services you need. In my case:

I have a caseworker that deals only with childcare
I have another that deals with my cash assistance, medical, and food stamps
I have another that deals solely with my child support, the rare times that I get it
And I have yet another caseworker that deals with my volunteer hours and transportation. This one also reports back to the first two if I'm not complying with what they want me to do *eyerolls*

You'd think that this was to make things more simpler, and easier on both the consumer and the caseworkers, right? This only serves to further confuse things! First, if there is a change in my household (say, a change in income or [heaven strike me down] if I become pregnant) I have to report to all four agencies individually, because none of them communicate for my benefit. Furthermore, with the heavy caseload that all caseworkers have; there is high potential for paperwork to be lost, which can stop your benefits cold even when you are complying. If one particular section, say my volunteer worker (Community Link), doesn't get the paperwork that I faxed in on the number they gave me that is supposed to be convenient, then I'm immediately cut off from childcare that following period, and, if I don't catch the error by taking time to come down there and show the paper personally, my cash, food, and medical assistance can be cut too.

Then there are the miscellaneous problems that I have to take time out from school and work study for. Sometimes, on the childcare side, there are computer glitches that cause my daughter's hours to be shorter than my son's. To correct this I have to show up personally yet again, and sit for hours just to tell them about the error so they can correct it. The daycare caseworkers have no explanation for this anomaly. My schedules have been in for weeks. But it seems as though every voucher period there is yet another issue.

Before I continue, I want to restate that I know why most of the rules are in place for public assistance; but having lived the system in this county, it seems like the system is designed to penalize those who are doing what it takes to get off the system. Its as if the system was built to keep clients ON assistance, then systematically take what little assistance you do get until you have nothing at all.

Enter: The Goal of MyWelfare2Wealth

It is this very struggle that inspired me to write this blog; to show others that being left with nothing doesn't have to be an option they have to accept, because I refuse to accept this fate myself. I will use what I have learned and what I am currently learning now to show people there are way to make money online, starting with not a single cent!

I will do this by networking with others who are doing the same right now, and bringing all of them to one single place where people who want to learn how they too, can overcome the fate of poverty by earning online!

By acheiving this goal, I will reach my personal goals of:

Getting a car and learning how to drive
Starting my own organization where people can network and learn about free earning online
Moving out of my complex
Getting completely out of debt
and (most importantly) becoming completely independent of Welfare within the next two years!!!!

I have deep, unshakable faith that sharing my stories with others in situations similar to my own, I will bring riches to myself, simply by bringing it to others!

The Balancing Act that is my life....

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. A whole lot of "life" just seemed to attack me all at once lol. which got me to thinking; I've told you guys about where the idea for this blog started, and what I hope to achieve in the long run with the relationships I create, but you know nothing about where I am right now! *Duh* And one of my main reasons for starting a blog was to let people know I am a real person *eyerolls*

Anyway, after the busy schedule I'm about to lay out for you lol; you'll see why I'm saying that I'll try to give you a weekly update on my journey from welfare to wealth. But for now, here is what I like to call the "balancing act" that is my life.

If you haven't picked up on it by now, let me make it perfectly clear: I HATE PUBLIC ASSISTANCE!!! I know this may come off as a bit ungrateful; since I am getting taxpayer dollars to support the not-so-good choices I made early in life; however, the fact is they have me over a barrel. I need these funds if I am ever to become independent of needing them in the future. I need the daycare so my kids are safe while I am at school and work/study. I need the funds because I don't have the education to get a job that would support me and my family, just yet. But they make it very difficult to get these services, even when you are doing exactly what they ask.

This is briefly the reason why I have the goal that I do; to become completely independent of needing these services within the next two years, or less

So, how are you doing this?

Barely, I must say (lol), but I'm starting to see some progress. Let me walk you through what a typical day in my life is like

In the morning I have 15 kids.....

After waking my 8 and 5 year old, and making sure they wash their faces at 6am, we join another 8-10 elementary school children from the building we live in outside. Since the beginning of the school year, I stood outside to watch over my two, since it was so early in the morning. I just kinda got "adopted to watch over the entire brood that gets on that particular bus lol. I don't mind; it keeps the lot of them safe that early in the morning, and it keeps them from getting too rowdy right before the bus comes. As we stand around and talk about nothing, a few more kids show up from another part of the building. A little while later the bus pulls up. As always, my next door neighbors kids aren't out just yet. I go knock on their door, and anyone else's who hasn't showed up yet.

After all the stragglers are on the bus, I wave as they pull off. Now time to run back in the house.

My Day Begins

If i was coherent enough when I got the kids up, I have a pot of coffee waiting on me, and a good thirty minutes ahead before I must catch the bus to school. It really sucks being 28 and STILL not knowing how to drive *eyerolls*, but that's a rant for another time. I susually take this time to wade through a few emails and make a few quick responses to questions from overnight. Just a few time killers till the bus comes. Bothing too deeply involved, the bus I'm catching is an express and the last one that runs in the morning! Luckily all I have to do is cross the parking lot of my building to catch it. After a while, I grab my things and walk to the bus stop.

Work/School/Business?

I must say going to Antonelli College is sweet for me. I take courses in Business Administration, which helps me a lot with my online presentation skills. This term, I was lucky enough to snag a work/study position in the Business Department; where I get to work with two of my favorite teachers. Yeah, the work can get a little boring at times; all I do is file and copy. But when work is slow, it also gives me time to check in and do a little internet networking on the computer; or even make a few postcards on the copy machine to mail out for my Postcard Business I'm promoting!

People think my work is so good, they want me to be President of the Business Club we are starting at school, to which I already get inside information being in the business office. I'd love to, but I know I have too many obligations going on to do that. I'll settle for VP, but I'll let you know more about that as it happens.

So, with all the classes, work hours, and clubs I go to, I'm still out of the school anywhere between 3-5pm. But my day doesn't end there....

Study Time

The kids are picked up by the daycare provider from school; my day doesn't stop after I get out of school, neither does theirs! Since I am in school for business, and also trying to start a business online, that means that I have a double study load. Soon as I hit home its homework time for a couple hours; then I hit the internet to study up on blogging, and any new IM sites that may have come up for review on a favorite site of mine, IM Report Card. This usually carries me until around six, where I break free from the computer to fix dinner for the kids.

Homework, dinner, Bath, Bed

The kids get in about 7p, and seem to try and make a beeline for the bed lol. All that learning and socializing wears them out every time. I help them with their homework, have them eat, then take a bath. Right before they go to bed, I read the book that my daughter has brought home that day. By this time they are so worn out they are falling asleep on the story! As soon as I have finished, about 8:30, I send them to bed.

Last minute tie up

But by no means am I finished at this point! After tidying up the kitchen, I come back to finish any studying or networking that I was doing before dinner. After that, I check in and comment on some other "mommy bloggers" that I follow. I am usually online until about 10pm, when I'm too worn out to read another word, and I lay down to rest and recharge for the next day.

So now you see a little bit of my life as it is now! Stay tuned for my next post, "The Journey from Welfare 2 Wealth begins with one step"; where I'll go deeper into my disgust for public assistance, and the goals I'll achieve with this blog!

9 Ways You Can Start Earning Online Today Free!!!

Yep, its the very reason why you signed up to this blog, I'm going to tell you the top 9 ways you can earn online for free! In the upcoming weeks I will explain each avenue in more detail but, as I'm following a great guy in blogging tutorials, Darren Rowse over at ProBlogger; the suggestion was to write a list post. I figured, what better topic than this? So, without further ado.....

Free Earning Online

1.) Paid to Click (PTC)/Paid to Read (PTR)/Paid to View(PTV)- This is the simplest, and, IMHO, one of the most tedious ways to make money online. You sign up to one of these sites, and you are paid to click, read, or view online advertisements. Earning through this method takes a great deal of time, as the pay usually averages at about 1 cent per click.

Some do find success and greater earnings with this, by recruiting other members to the site through what is called a "referral link" (more on that later). When a person does this, he/she earns a percentage of the new member's activity. However, it is difficult to find individuals who will provide consistent activity that you can earn regularly from.

When joining one of these sites, one should make sure there is an active forum available, with payment proofs from members. One should also test response time with customer support. Having these aspects in place are signs that the site is a legitimate one. Also, never expect more than 5 cents a click, and that is pretty high itself. Sites that say they pay a dollar or more for clicking links usually is a scam, and will never pay.

Nevertheless, if you like the idea of clicking ads for pay, there are a few PTC/PTR sites I recommend:

2) Social Networking (Paid to Post)- This is where it starts to get interesting. Do you chat often on social sites such as MySpace and FaceBook? There are websites where you can earn money doing practically the same thing you do there! The pay varies from site to site; but you get paid for starting and responding to discussions, uploading pictures, and many other features specific to each site. Although you won't get rich at these kinds of sites, why not get paid for what you already do?

To earn with these types of sites, you must have a valid e-mail & Online Payment Account. (see my post, Getting Paid, if you don't have one). Once signed up, its best to customize your profile, so that members can get a feel of who they are talking to. After that, get a feel for the website itself by reading the Terms of Service (TOS) and/or the Frequently Asked Question (FAQs), then get started participating.

Here are the paid social networking sites I've found to be the most enjoyable and reliable so far:

3. Paid To Search- How many times a day do you use a search engine to look up something? There are websites that you can earn cash and credits towards merchandise for each search you make through their website.

Each site's sign up differs, however you will need at least a valid e-mail to join. In order to make sure that the site is solvent and does pay out, look for an active forum with payment proofs; ans test the response time of customer support.

Legitimate websites of this kind, such as the ones listed below, can earn a person anywhere from an extra $10-$100 a month when used frequently. Here are a few that come recommended in this community:

4. Freelance Work- What online and computer skills do you have? Are you good at building websites or writing articles? If you have these and/or various other online and computer skills, freelance work may be right for you. Basically, if you can do it on the internet, someone is willing to pay you to do it for them. However, this method does take a little patience and persistence

The best place to find this type of work is through a freelance forum. This is where people that need work done (project creators) make posts describing the work they need done, and their budget to pay them. Interested members compete for the project by sending bids containing their qualifications, how long it will take them to complete the project, and how much they will accept. The project creator will then contact those who he/she feels is the best for the job. It does take some time to build a good reputation in these forums, and in the beginning you may not see the pay you think you are worth; however, consistent quality work is rewarded with higher ratings, which will bring more projects that are longer in term and higher paying.

To protect yourself, make sure that the forum itself has a payment system in place that protects both you as the freelance worker, and the project creator. Also, when interested in any project, check the reputationj of the project creator with the site. Anyone with a bad reputation, or with a short time in the forum, you should be wary of. This information can usually be found on the project creator's profile.

5) Article Writing- One of the biggest demands in Freelancing is for Article Writing, but this isn't the only place where you can earn money for your content. There are a number of websites where you can post your articles or short stories; and, based on its popularity with the other members, you will earn money for it.

Again, when signing up for one of these sites, you shuld do a check for an active forum with payment proofs, and the response time of customer support. Articles and short stories you submit should be your original work, as all sites of this type are against plagiarism, and submitting plagiarized work can result in a terminated account.

Here are three of the most popular Article Submission sites online:

6) Telecommuting (Virtual Call Center)- Another popular request in freelancing is for Virtual Call Center Agents, although this isn't the sole place to find this line of work either. This position is where a person either answers inbound or makes outbound calls from a home office. this usually requires a landline phone connection, experience working in a call center, and in some cases, certain specifications on your home computer; however, requirements vary with each company.

To obtain a posistion as a Virtual Call Center Agent, you apply with a company that has an opening, just as you would a traditional job. The process is very similar, including the need for a resume. Make sure the company you are applying to is legitimate, by doing a Google search with the company name + "Reviews". Furthermore, you should never have to pay a fee to apply for positions of this type; nor should the company ask for personal banking information during the application process.

Here are some sources where you can find information about Virtual Call Center and other Telecommuting Position openings:

7.) Blogging (Paid to Post, Advertising Widgets)- Any of you love to blog? Well, there are two ways you can earn money simply by blogging: Blog advertising and Paid to Post. Both are just smalls additions to your blog that can put some additions in your pocket.

With blog advertising, you just place a small widget on your blog that shows an advertisement. Whenever someone click on that ad, you get paid. Paid to Post blogging is a little more involved. Here, you write a post about a particular product or service, where you place the affiliate link given by the site at the end of the post. With some sites you get paid for making the post, and and clicks to the link. Others you only get paid for clicks.

As always, when signing up for sites like this, check for active forums, payment proofs, and customer support response times. I'm not well-versed in this form of earning, as I am just beginning in blogging myself. But here are three such websites that come highly recommended in the paid blogging community:

8) Couponing & Shopper Clubs- Do you clip a lot of coupons, or do a lot of shopping online? It is not known to many, but these are was that you can earn online as well! With coupons, there are entire forum communities for the explicit cause of buying, selling, and trading grocery coupons. These forums will also teach you how to acquire and use grocery coupons most effectively, slashing your monthly grocery costs to a fraction of its original rate!

If you do a lot of shopping online, then joining a shopping club may interest you. Shopping clubs partner with big online retailers such as E-Bay and Amazon.com, and negotiate with them to bring their members discounts and rebates that aren't available to the general public. This way, you can get a little back on what you were going to spend online anyway; and we all know a penny saved is a penny earned.

9.) Affiliate Marketing- This is like franchising in the traditional business world. You acquire the rights to promote a pre-made business idea, and you keep the profit. The same happens online; you apply for the rights to promote an existing product/service online, and you are paid for your efforts.

There are many products/services online that promise pie-in-the-sky earnings if you just buy into their system; but for those just learning about Affiliate Marketing, its best to stick to free affiliate opportunities.

Where can these be found? You're probably signed up to a few of them right now! Many of the sites I listed for the eight previous ways I explained pay affiliate commissions in one form or another. When you join these sites, you are given a unique referral link, which you can give to others who are interested in joining. When a person uses this link to join the site, you will either earn a flat bonus, or, more likely, a percentage of that person's activity on the site.

To narrow down a list of the top three affiliate opportunities, even when speaking of free opportunities, is near impossible. Instead, I will give you a website that has helped me greatly in my research of these opportunities I find online. It's called IM Report Card. This community lists unbiased reviews of the most populare Internet Marketing Products, Services, Biz Opps, and more online. Members are encouraged to leave comments describing their experiences with products, grade services, and rate reviews. This provides a great database to check against when encountering new websites to earn from.

Getting Paid-How to get the Money You Earn Online into Your Pocket

Now we get to the most important detail of Online Earning: Getting PAID. This post will explain from A-Z how you can get the money you earn online into spendable cash right at your fingertips.

It is also the most widely used for online businesses to both receive and make Payments.

AlertPay, what I would call the "B" grade processor online. Although very similar to PayPal, this processor is used by online businesses who are infinitely smaller than the norm at Paypal, and also types of business not allowed to join PayPal.

*NOTE* Although this doesn't instantly qualify a website using this processor as a "scam" website, as PayPal's terms of Service are very strict; however, a company that does use this payment method does deserve a closer eye.

Creating Your Personal Payment Account

To create your account is basically the same for both sites mentioned here. Both consist of an application, which takes less than a minute, and then the verification process, which can take up to 5 business days. Before you begin, you should have a secure e-mail account that only you will use, and a routing and account number for your checking/savings account, or a credit/debit card number handy. (If you have none of these, read further how to solve this issue)

Go to either website mentioned above (I suggest starting with PayPal, as it is the most widely used. You can sign up for AlertPay once you come across an opportunity where its necessary.) and click the "Sign Up" link. Once you have completed your profile, you will be taken to your back office. Here, you will see a link that says "Confirm Your Bank Account/Credit Card". This is a necessary step, as your account will not be verified to receive payment until this process is complete.

Activating this process places two small deposits in the account you listed; usually not totaling more than $0.25. These deposits usually take two to three days to appear in the account. Once they do, complete the verification process by listing the amount of both deposits in the appropriate form in your back office. Once that is done, you are ready to receive payments online using no more than your e-mail address, and you can transfer the money to your account with a couple of clicks!

No Bank Account? No Problem!

For those of you who don't have a checking/savings account, nor a credit/debit card to sign up with; or are still uncomfortable with using your personal information online, even with these trusted companies; a PrePaid Debit Card can be the solution to this issue.

Prepaid Debit Cards can provide an online financial identity for those who have no other means to provide one, or would like to keep their online budget separate from others. You can load this card with money, either directly from a bank account or in person at one of their payment stations. So, What do You Want to Do? (3 Questions to Help You Choose Between an Online Job and an Online Business)

So, now that you know that making money without spending money IS POSSIBLE; how is that that you want to earn money? although there are many different avenues to earn money from, the biggest two categories of earning money online are from "Online Jobs" and "Online Businesses". How do these avenues differ? Lets explore each further...

Online Jobs

These are contracted positions with an individual (like in freelance work) or a company (such as a virtual call center position) You would apply to these positions just as you would a traditional work position; showcasing your qualifications, talents, and achievements related to the position. Then, if chosen, you would be contacted with further details about the position such as the duration of the position, your responsibilities, and how much you will be paid.

The advantages of having an online job is that the job base is just as wide (if not wider) that the traditional job market. There are positions for almost any computer skill one has.

Also, once you obtain a position online, you know from day one when you will be paid and how much. Many online jobs pay just like traditional jobs; either weekly or bi-weekly. This should all be described in your contract details, which should be read before accepting the position.

The disadvantages to online positions are that, for certain positions, one most have documented online experience; regardless if they have had extensive experience with the same skill in the traditional job market.

Furthermore, although with some companies there are opportunities for advancement; many positions you will find are short term contracts; especially so with freelance work. This means that for some time in the beginning, you will be in constant search for work until you can find a long term, contract or position.

Finally, you may be qualified enough for a position you've applied for, but your computer may not be. In the case of virtual call centers, you may be required to run certain software on your computer to work with the company. If you computer doesn't have the space to house the software, if it cannot support the software, or does not have the processing speed to run it, this will exclude you form getting the position.

Online Business
This option is growing more popular, despite the recent changes in the US economy. Unlike a traditional brick and mortar business, where one may have to worry about franchising, product, and/or overhead costs; one may start an online business for little or even no cost out of pocket.

The advantages to starting an online business are that you can start a business based on any neich you can think of. If you can't think of a business to start, there are plenty of affilate marketing opportunities where you can promote another's product or service, andearn a commission for each sale or sign-up you bring in.

The disadvantages are that it does take quite a bit of work to earn consistently from online business; even more if you decide to create your own business from scratch. You must create a website to showcase your product or services (this is usually provided for you with affiliate opportunities). Then, you must promote you opportunity throuig advertising, marketing, and networking; all of which will cost you time, money, or both. And for all your efforts, it may be some time before you see the monetary reward for your efforts.

Although affiliate marketing can give you a slight advantage over starting a business from scratch; depending on what tools and training the opportunity offers, and how popular the opportunity brand name is itself; affiliate marketing is not without its pitfalls.

After taking care to choose an opportunity one is truly interested in, beyond the earning potential; one must do thorough research on the company itself, to ensure that it is a reputable one, and will not disappear overnight. Also, one shoudl read the payment structure of the opportunity, to make sure it is understandable and realistic, and to also ensure the person signing up is able to commit the action necessary in order to create a commission, and feels the commission paid for that action is worth the effort.

Finally, what you earn is dependent soley on you. This is both the blessing and the curse of online business. The potential earnings can be great if one works diligently at learning and implementing effective advertising and marketing tactics, if they spend time to research their audience, and gear their efforts to interest them. On the same token however; if one does not put the effort necessary into marketing and advertising their opportunty, then one will see very little in return.

To sum up this comparison, online jobs require a little more work to obtain; however once you do, the payments are steady and guaranteed as long as you complete the work satisfactorily. Online Business can bring you greater income than an online job in the long run; but they require much more work and dedications than online jobs as well, and they may take longer than the former to see any returns.

To decide which is right for you, ask yourself these three questions:

Would I rather have a steady income at a set rate; or do I want to be paid based on my efforts and hard work?
Would I rather have a set list of instructions I must follow in order to be paid; or am I comfortable in creating a plan for myself and following it?
Am I comfortable working for another person, or would I rather work for myself?

Answer these questions, and you will know which is right for you.

Now when I run across a product I am interested in, not only can I read a review describing the product in full detail (eliminating sales page confusion) but I can also read what the community is saying about the product, by reading the real life experiences below. The more people that come to this site and participate, the better the site gets!

If the product I am looking for isn't listed, all I have to do is submit it for review! In fact, many of the features of the site are direct results of member's requests. Admin is very responsive and attentive to the membership here.

Finally, and one of the best parts about this site, is that you GET PAID for participation!!! All you have to do is accumulate 2000 points, which is equal to $20. Once you reach this level, just request payout, and its in your Paypal account within 24 hours!!!

Making Sure to Choose the Perfect Opportunity for You

As this blog progresses, I will be mentioning a plethora of sources where you can earn online, many with no out of pocket cost. However, there is one thing you must acquire before you continue with my blog, else none of this will bring you a single penny.

This is the same thing that the top 7% of online earners have that separate them from the others just trying to make it online.

Before you start guessing, its not that these people have better friends, they aren't necessarily smarter than everyone else, and it has nothing to do with money.

The thing that is crucial to ever making money online is Definiteness of purpose. Knowing exactly what it is that you want to do to carry you to your desired internet income.

There are many scams on the internet, and even more things that may not be right for you. Having Definiteness of Purpose will give you the insight to avoid scams, and keep you from wasting time on opportunities that may seem lucrative at first, but aren't really your cup of tea.

If you don't have any clue what your purpose is, don't worry, this is something that can be developed at any time. This is why I post this now, so before you begin or continue your search online, you can ask yourself these three questions:

1. What do you see yourself doing/are you good at/are you interested in?

This by far is the most important question of the four. It is absolutely vital that whatever you decide to do online, you enjoy. The internet is vast; and even in earning online there is something for everyone. However, if you just blindly choose a venture in which to earn from, instead of choosing something that interests and excites you, chances are high that you won't maintain an interest for it. This is a sure path to failure.

2. How much time are you willing to invest/Are you looking for short term returns, or a long term residual income?

This question helps you to manage your time in two aspects. First, how much time each day or every week are you willing to dedidcate to an online venture? If you know how much time you will have on a regular basis to dedicate to your online earning, then you can further determine which opportunities are right for you according to time. It only makes sense to choose ventures that you have the time to dedicate to.

Second, how long are you willing to wait to see a return on your efforts? Pay cycles can and usually do vary not only from opportunity to opportunity, but from website to website. In general, no matter what you choose, make sure you are okay with how much effort you have to put in to receive your desired return, and how often you will be paid what you have earned.

3) How much do you expect to earn?

This question brings the information of the last two questions together. How much do you believe the time you are willing to dedicate to online earning in the venture you wish to earn money from is worth? When coming up with this general number, you don't want to sell yourself short, as it has to be enough to keep your interest; however, you must also keep this number realistic, as you want to leave yourself plenty of opportunities to choose from.

Finding the right opportunity to earn online from is a long journey; one without a guide if you don't at least have a small sense of what you want to do before starting. If Definiteness of Purpose is not achieve in the beginning, you will find yourself susceptible to the advertising and hype you will be bombarded with day by day.

I know, I know, you're still waiting on how you can make free money. Since I will be listing so many avenues, I want to make sure everyone is safe from the pitfalls I hit when I first began my journey. I promise, two more posts and we get down to business! Stay tuned for the next post...

Public Assistance got you going in Circles???

I went down to Job and Family Services today for a recertification appointment, and as ALWAYS it was packed full of confused people and caseworkers. Every time I go down there I feel like this song.

In order to avoid any unnecessary "circles" when you have any type of appointment with your local public services office, remember these three tips:

1.Find out what documents will be required for the appointment beforehand, and have them handy- This is true in any county, if you do not have the proper documents your caseworker requires, your case can be held up, sometimes even beyond you returning these documents.

Normally you can find what you will need in your appointment letter. Make sure to read over this letter when received, and have the documents available.

2. Pick up all third party forms before the appointment, and have them filled out- Often times determining your benefits will require having forms filled out by third parties to verify your living situation and income. If you are applying for the first time, or you have had a change in either your living expenses or income, its best to pick up these forms at your local agency, and have them filled out by the appropriate parties, in order to be prepared on the date of your appointment.

3. Arrive 15-30 minutes early. Since these agencies serve a great portion of the population, they must set their appointments in "blocks" of time. When you receive your letter, you may be in a group of 10 or more cases that have been scheduled for that time slot.

To make sure you spend the least amount of time for your appointment, arrive and register for your appointment 15-30 minutes early. This puts you towards the top of the list for that time slot.

Dealing with the requirements of Public assistance can be frustrating, but we can alleviate some of it by not causing any extra "circles" for ourselves.

Dealing With Public Assistance (MyWelfare2Wealth Disclaimer)

There's no shame in being on any form of public assistance. In today's economic times, many more families are finding themselves in need of some sort of financial aid; myself currently included.

However, public assistance just isn't made to support families indefinitely. Furthermore, with the many budget cuts that government has had to make across the board; who knows how stable the funding for public assistance truly is, or any changes in eligibility standards these programs may be forced to make in the future, in order to preserve funds.

In my locality, there is talk that Hamilton County Job and Family Services (HCJFS) will be proposing a tax increase for the November Ballot. If this is true, and it doesn't pass, who knows what changes may come for families receiving assistance in Hamilton County.

This is the main reason why we've decided to make it our personal mission to teach willing individuals the various methods of earning an online income for free; to eventually help myself and many other families to become independent of public assistance, so that we don't have to deal with that uncertainty.

That being said, we would like to inform everyone, for good measure, that MyWelfare2Wealth is in NO WAY affiliated with any county's public assistance program; although we do aspire to partner with many public service agencies in the future, in order to reach more who would like the information that will be described in this blog.

If you are currently in need of public assistance for yourself and/or your family, please contact your local county agency. In Cincinnati, go here for information on services.

In Hamilton County, you are required to report any income received over $25 in one month. For guidelines specific to your own county, please contact your caseworker.

I am Kenya, a 40 year old Work At Home mom of two. I make six figures a year, live in a home that I had built custom from the ground up, in Atlanta, Georgia. I drive a custom-built 2003 Cadillac De ville.

I am a 28 year old single mother of two that has learned various techniques of earning money online, without spending money to do it. Presently, I live in subsidized housing in Cincinnati, Ohio. Despite not receiving constant support for my two children, with what I earn online currently we live almost comfortably, given the present economy. I have some college education, and am currently completing a degree in Business Office Applications, which should be finished in 2011.

First and foremost, since most are just getting acquainted with me for the first time., I am a pretty open person; however in this case I have two specific reasons for being so open:\

To show everyone who cares to read this blog that I am a living breathing person. I don't have any special advantages. What I will talk about in this blog will explain a list of many REALISTIC ways to earn online; many of the ways you will never need ANY MONEY OUT OF POCKET to earn from.
These conditions I speak of are but temporary. My goal is to gain prosperity by showing others THERE IS A WAY!!! In today's times, we've all got too much month at the end of the money. If I can show just ONE PERSON a month how to supplement their current income, or even how to create the income of their desires, then I shall grow not only in prosperity, but in spirit as well.

In total, I have made over $4000 in various free methods online. Pretty impressive,...until I tell you this is a cumulative amount earned since 2003 lol *eyerolls*. I admit, online earning has been little more than a hobby of mine for quite some time; that is until February 2007.

After being laid off from my job at that time, I gave a closer look at online earning opportunities; in light of my current situation, particularly those that were free.
